The room was nice. It needs some updating. The only real complaint was the noise from the air conditioner. It keep me awake most of the night. The lady in the office was super nice and helpful.

Great service
The rooms are adequate many pillows beds a bit hard for my liking. Shampoo smells like Ajax the body soap smelled minty that one I liked lol. Plenty of towels remote control didn’t work but it was overnight stay so we just used the tv buttons more channels than topaz muffins for breakfast. Service was great and fast. Room smelled musky but we aired it out ac worked well. Has fridge and microwave better than topaz motel not on beach but customer service is much better here

We reserved a king bed through Expedia, but upon our arrival, they informed us that a king bed was not available. I offered to pay extra to accommodate us, but the attendant insisted that they didn't have rooms with king beds available. All of them on the first floor had been taken or reserved, so we had to go to the second floor to a room with a double bed. The phone in the room was disconnected, and there was no way to call in case of an emergency other than to walk to the office downstairs, which was inconvenient

Get what u pay for.
First tthe good, nice price, pretty clean, reasonable service. Now the bad, could not get into first room, so they moved me. Second room was 2 beds not a king as I booked. Room smelled like smoke. Beds were terrible, squeaked so bad. AC was really noisy. But give them credit it was clean

We had to switch our room three times, first time the shower doesn’t drain, second room it has a very bad smell and high concentration of Clorox that made my eyes achy , it didn’t have any outlet near the bed for charging purposes. The third one was fine but not great. Try to imagine to move your stuff like that when you check in at 8 pm and you are tired just want to relax! The staff in the front desk were nice but in the morning the cleaning staff tried to bust our door even we put don’t disturb sign!

Granola bars for breakfast, cockroaches in room
We got a room beside a very loud family with three little screaming kids - Luckily the man already said they would be loud, and the receptionist offered a different room.
When I went to the bathroom at night I saw something scooting away in the tub, and which turned out to be a cockroach. Killed that one, and found two more live ones in the room. I contacted the hotel via email, but didn’t hear anything back. Breakfast was a far cry - only coffee and granola bars and a wet cinnamon bun. Juice machine didn’t work, no tea, no milk, no bread, no cereal, no nothing else.
Not impressed with their “superstart” breakfast at all. Not a good experience.

I was happy with the location of our room. The woman placed us on the bottom floor and in the middle. We could only hear the highway now a little so it didn’t mess up our sleep.

Needs a little TLC
Overall, good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Issues: 1. Mold on ceiling in bathroom and ceiling looked like it was in need of replacement, repair, paint. 2. Dirty floor---needs a swiffer to clean and sanitize. 3. No wi-fi in room. Only available in lobby. 4. Room could use a little bistro table with 2 chairs for guests to eat.

Keys frequently didn’t work and needed replacing so I was locked out frequently. The early night auditor was rude and unhelpful. The room was filthy. Tub did not drain. No in room coffee. There was a raised threshold at the door that was unmarked causing me to trip a couple of times upon entering because it was unmarked. Curbs stepping down were unmarked. Parking was across the parking lot from the door of the room rather than just outside the room. I want a refund!

We were looking for somewhere just to sleep and recoup during our road trip and this suited our needs. It’s what you would expect for staying at a low rate motel. Nothing special but it did the job for us.

Staff was friendly but place was awful. Dirty and run down. And we felt unsafe. Door to room did not close properly. They charged my credit card twice. Not a good experience. Will likely not stay at another Super 8 property. We left at 2 am. Just was extremely uncomfortable.

The keys wouldn’t open room 118. Employee came and was able to get door open, but wasn’t happy about it.
The door to the bathroom was warped and wouldn’t close unless slammed, but hard to reopen.
There was no Super 8 internet available at all to log on.
There was no ESPN available.
When departing, the lids for their coffee cups were not the correct size for their cups.
Will not plan to stay here again in the future.

Do not waste your mony
I am a Travel Nurse and needed a room while I was working in Daytona. The room was very dirty. The floors were awful. The shower was backing up, the drain was full of hair. Someone had stuffed Q-tips down in it and it smelled like something had died. When the front desk was notified, they moved me to another room. This room smelled like pot, holes and stains in the bed sheets... The frig froze everything you put in it. I could not put anything to eat for my lunches for work in it!!!!
When the hotel was told about all the issues they still would not refund any of my money back, nor take off the $100 deposit for and damaged done.... Wow!!!! How would you know what damage was done when every room was lots holes, broken remotes, stains on walls and floor.. I could go on and on!! But i will not, lesson learned

Good for a place to lay down for the night
Stay was an okay experience. Rooms are clean but definitely could use some cosmetic upgrades. Pillows are very firm and not comfortable so I would bring my own. Definitely a good place for anyone that it going to the area that the hotel isn’t the most important part of the trip. Like I said it’s clean and stayable for a couple nights. Price could be better for the quality of the room. Great place for someone that is going to Daytona races since it’s like 20-30 minute drive to the track!

the staff was very friendly and courteous. The room was very clean and comfortable. the only bad thing was that their wifi was down but you could use the lobby wifi. the continental breakfast wasn't much though but at least we had our coffee

Roaches & Mold...Opened the door and the first thing we saw was roaches. Went to get a refund. While doing so, the couple checked in next door came to front desk as well because of Mold on furniture legs and bed skirt

Smelled like mold (common for one star hotels in Florida). Room in need of repair, updating. (Also common for one star hotels). Wifi did not work I told a staff member at the front desk but she didn't fix it.

We stayed two different nights (Saturday and the following Thursday) and couldn’t access the Wi-Fi either time. The first night, the rooms were clean. The second night, both smelled strongly of smoke but staff kindly moved us to a different room when we brought it to their attention. Convenient location off the interstate and good price, but wouldn’t stay again as I need wi-fi to work.

Decent Room
The bed and pillows were comfortable. The room was clean, the bathroom area was satisfactory. The road noise was not drowned out by the air conditioner. Unfortunately we were in a room close to the road, I would ask for one farther away from the road. ONE complaint, I was charged a higher fee for my small, well behaved, dog than was quoted on the Hotel.com website. When I questioned the charge, I was told it wasn't their fault Hotels.com hadn't updated their website! My humble opinion is you charge what is quoted or don't use the website. SIDE NOTE: I checked the Wyndham link and found the same price of $10 as displayed at Hotels.com. I know, picky, picky.

They had no wi-Fi was down when I check in and when I checked out that’s four nights. And the room toilet not cleaned in room. When checked in. And their tv channel.not good they advertise Showtime they did not have that neither other than that was good to go

Stranded overnight
I thought the room smelled a little musty but then realized it was dampness. Not surprising as the hotel is not far from the coast. It really didnt detract from my stay and eventually I didn't even notice it. The room was clean and comfortable.
Jesus who checked me in and Benjamin who checked me out were a riot. Both personable and probably the nicest front desk employess I have ever met. Except Bill in Marietta, OH.

Was convenient to the highway had everything that we needed. But the nightlife… Other guests were unruly they were people drinking Petrone tequila in the parking lot, leaving the bottles in the parking lot spinning their tires in the parking lot around midnight and this happened for probably a good hour or two and then they went for a ride then they came back again. Very rude kids/guests!

you know, for what it is -- a Super8 motel at a highway rest area right off I-95, it's actually pretty good. the room was fine, clean, good water pressure and working bathrooms, A/C, etc. beds and pillows were comfy. yeah, I'd stay there again, if not traveling with family... the "free breakfast" was lacking, since I never actually saw what it was, maybe muffins and oatmeal?
shout out to the staff -- especially the housekeeping: very personal and friendly, super attitudes! and Jucoby at the front desk was very easy and accommodating too.

Not only did we get charged for our dog which was never stated on our reservation but we were told breakfast was included but all there was was coffee. Not even juice for the kids.

Mostly positive.
Checking in and out was painless, parking was ample, bed was comfortable. Good water pressure in the shower. Towels were soft. Lights were dim and one wall sconce light didn't work. There weren't any convenient outlets near the table. Hairdryer was missing. Housekeeping didn't replenish the coffee supplies after the first night, but I stepped over to the office and got what we needed.

What I like the most about my stay was the bed sheets were very comfortable, however the lack of cleanliness of the headboard of the bed, lampshade, the dresser, the table seats, no real designated area or space to hang your clothes was very disappointing. The staff was friendly and helpful as the front desk staff offered to take my luggage to the 2nd floor since no rooms were available on the first floor. But dust and unkept condition of the funiture was difficult to overlook.

Decent for the price... no breakfast offered
Worked for what I needed... clean room, comfortable bed, and a shower. Disappointed with the lobby door locked at 6:30 AM on my way to work and was told that there was no breakfast setup as he "had a torn rotator cuff" and couldn't do it.

Run don't walk away
I was horrified at the condition of this motel. The check in took place in the parking lot through a window. That should have told me to run. The inside of the room was nothing like the pictures. The musty smell of the rum was horrible. The room was so dark and dim. The furniture was very old. It was a terrible experience for the expensive price.

building was old and could see light around the door when closed. it was clean and the beds were comfortable. not sure mini donuts and packages of oatmeal constitute breakfast. for the price we paid it was fine for an overnight stay, wouldn't want an extended stay.

Once again very pleased
Have stayed at this Super 8 many times. Bed was a little smaller than expected but very comfortable. The heater worked very well and housekeeping was very reliable. Other than the WiFi not working I was very pleased. Consistently providing a cozy room for a good price, I look forward to my next visit here.

Updating was done but some safety issues still exist. We could see daylight around the
door/frame that was concerning. You could hear everything going on outside. A fuse was blown in our room causing no electricity in the bath area but Fixed promptly. Beds were odd. Felt the hard wires around the frame but was really comfortable sleeping. The breakfast and breakfast area were very unappealing. All packaged junk food. Juice machine was empty and no tea offered. Just coffee. And there are people that live there long term. Very leary to leave things of worth in our room.

I did not like the dog biscuits at the front desk when I heard a dog barking at 2:30 am. The room was old and needed renovation. Walls were thin. The bed was comfortable. The location was convenient to the highways, food and gas.
