we had no hot water or water pressure the tv would not turn on seen a another man staying their when at night someone hit his car very badly and lots of outside partying noise breakfest was nothing but coffee and oj i will find another hotel next time

we had no hot water and no water pressure in the tub and i see another guess car hit by someone very bad damage and the breakfest their was as bad as it comes coffee was good the room was clean and the t.v would not come on this was rm 106 i will go elsewhere

ok
the staff was great an the room was old but comfortable. the pillows were the best I have ever slept. T he only bad part was the breakfast. it was not good at all

Our room was for a long stay. They don't tell you, you will Not have housekeeping! You have to ask for it. That would be nice to know when checking in. After that everything went well

Bed covers and couch had huge stains on them bathroom shower curtain had what looked like blood on it dead bugs on the floor also had cigarette burns in cover in a non smoking room also had a fowl smell

Stuff stloen from our vehicle that was parked in a well light area right in front of the office. They had no camera. Police said it is a bad area.

Stay away! Don’t stay.
Parking is awful. The rooms are so old. Nothing like the pictures. The rooms were not clean. I had to disinfect the bathroom before using. We only used the sink and toilet. The beds were comfy but they only had a top sheet not fitted.
Allison at the desk was nice. But the procedure to check In later is crazy. Stood out for in the freezing cold for like 20 minutes.
Would not stay again. I feel so dirty. Can’t wait to get to my destination.

The property was old and needed more than paint that covered up rust on bathroom door frame and the sagging ceiling.
The property was very clean. I even wore white socks in the room and they did not get dirty. Cleaner than my own house.

Pool was closed. Parking is the worst. Only has parking on one side of the hotel. Has very limited parking so people with kids or older adults may have to walk a ways. Lots of homeless on the corner of the property. We encountered several shady people walking around our vehicles. Very uncomfortable. Rooms were clean for the most part. Need updated.

Not in hurry to go there again.
I've stayed here ao many times cause of it's location. Now they i have to give a $50 deposit and they been doing that for two years. I've been there at least 4 or 5 times in the last 6 months and never had to pay a deposit. I didn't like the way they did things last time i was there and not in a hurry to use them again.

A night with no sleep
Roaches in room greasy bathroom floor defected bed laid in a big hole, that i couldnt get out of. Stunk in room no freshner sprayed and only 2 bath towels

i went to South Carolina for a funeral- I had a problem with the staff when I arrived since arrived later than expected had to pay a surcharge but after that no problems . The hotel does not wait to charge you if you say pay at the hotel thru online- they charge right away and then add a surcharge. I did not eat there but the staff was very friendly and helpful. This is a great location and near all kinds of stores and restaurants. 85 interstate just a few blocks- look for exit 92 . Hotel does not look like much but clean and has cable tv.

Computer issues checking in. The couch was new but hard as a rock sitting on it. The floor was linoleum and dirty. Breakfast was not good either. Won’t stay there again

The hotel had prostitutes and drug addicts walking around everywhere!! The pool was coming apart and was made with rough cement material. Toilets would barely flush and lights were flickering!! Terrible hotel!!

Scary, nasty motel
We booked last minute as we just needed a cheap place to sleep. There was footprints on the floor and everything was sticky. It was dirty and quite frankly scary. But it was a cheap sleep.

Avoid if all possible...
This hotel is VERY out of date, however they are making updates to try and improve the overall conditions of the hotel. This hotel currently is only good, if you are tired and need a quick/cheap place to sleep for the night.

There's gotta be someplace else ...
This was the lowest end accommodations I have ever stayed in. I arrived late and didn't immediately notice but the room smelled like stale smoke. There was nothing memorable about this place and I would definitely NOT stay there again.

Don't stop here if you have a choice!
Late night (11:03PM) check-in guests treated like bank robbers here. Have to transact business through a bank deposit style drawer even though I was clearly a non-threatening older woman. Check-in agent had no map to show me where my room was and his instructions were very confusing - so I spent 10 minutes wandering around in the dark trying to find my room. In morning - absolutely no one staffing the hotel. Other guests also complained bitterly about broken showers, non-functioning toilets, etc. This is not the place to stay - find another hotel.

Foul Carpet Ruins Room and Stay
So ... this hotel would be ok if it weren't for the absolutely disgusting carpet. It raised a stench in the room and I was stupid enough to walk barefoot on it. Given all the goo that stuck to my feet, it seems like the carpet should be a little cleaner now. But I am sure it is not. Seriously, put down plastic. The carpet should not be cleaned; it should be thrown out.
There was a sign in the lobby that said no refunds after 15 minutes after check in. I should have been able to read between the lines on that sign.

Gaffney Wonderful 2017
An amazing trip for visiting family in Spartanburg over the memorial weekend. Enjoyed the peace, and quiet of the local neighborhood kept decently quiet. There's a skating ring just next door, and if you have children the local Gaffney Police will be the security of the property to keep your children safe. Will look forward to returning for the quiet atmosphere, and comfortable beds without any bed bug issues, and clean rooms kept wonderfully clean by the hotel staff.

Convenient Location but GRUNDGY!
Staff was pleasant. First room had a wad of " ABC " gum on the headboard of the bed. The linen was a filthy penetration of black dirty grunge! No light working in bathroom. The clerk switched us out to the room next door which was improved in cleanliness enough to bare the night. Electrical appliances were unplugged and hazardous. Never again.

Horrible experience.
Requested a non-smoking room, was placed in a smoking room. There were burn marks on the bathtub edge. The bathroom was otherwise filthy. The carpets were still wet from recent "cleaning". Staff was helpful within their capabilities.

Convenient but very dissapointing....
Check in went well... It was around 10pm so we used the side window for the process. It seemed a little early to not walk into the office but it was no trouble. The next morning we stopped in on the breakfast... Not much to choose from so just grabbed some orange juice and moved on. After a long day we arrived back at the hotel a little after 9pm. We were very disappointed to find the pool was closed. There was still daylight in the sky and it is summer time... This was sad for the kids that were so looking firward to a quick dip.We did not like the pool being closed and locked at 9pm and not to reopen until 10am. We also found that there had been no service to our room. Beds were not made and no towels. I went to the office and I was given 2 towels and told that was all they had... There were 4 people in our room so this caused some problems. On top of that the towels had a strange smell. I won't stay here on my next visit. Rate was good but value was not...

Got what we paid for
My husband and I were up in the area looking for houses, and needed an inexpensive place to stay for a couple of days. I checked the reviews, even though they were mixed, and still booked us. As in other reviews, the staff was excellent, the rooms were average, and the breakfast was nothing to rave about. We, all in all, had a pleasant stay, knowing what to watch for. My only complaint (which is why "Room Comfort" only got a 4 instead of 5) was that the filters in the AC unit of the "Smoking" room we stayed in either needed to be cleaned better or changed out. The smell of cheap tobacco permeated the room, and every time the AC turned on the smell of it intensified (fortunately I live with a smoker and am used to it). The extra pillows we brought with us, though, took on the smell of the room we stayed in and we didn't notice it until we got home (there's no smoking inside our house at home).

Had to ask for the bathroom to be cleaned when I checked in. The clientele was a little rough but it was quiet. Customer service was nonexistent. Area is great though. Lots of places within a mile

nice hotel, close to family
I came up from Florida just for the weekend. It was family reunion. I always stayed with my grandparents but they have both passed last year. I didn't feel comfortable staying with any other family members so I am so glad I found you. It was very nice and right in town close to everything.

A place to sleep
Couldn't drive any further (left Gettysburg at 6). This was cheap and AC worked well. If you are squeamish/fancy pants about where you sleep you should drive on; however, as a place to crash this one is fine. Hotel operator was very pleasant fellow.

Bates Motel
Uncomfortable room, didn't feel safe. My mom pushed a table and chair in front of the door. A lot of weekly construction workers. Lot of foul language and loud music.
