Nice place, will stay here again
We started here for 2 nights. The first morning walking up, unfortunately wasn't good. Our room was above the maintenance room, and kept hearing doors closing, A LOT, as we were trying to sleep in. But we told the front desk, they apologized, and moved us to another room, with a bit of an up grade. It was very much appreciated, and the next morning, we slept in nice and sound 🙂

The Hampton Inn in Surprise, AZ is clean and safe. Staff are very friendly and the breakfast good. The AC/heaters are noisy, the water pressure weak, and the fitness center was poorly equipped- a few cardio machines and med balls. No free weights. No water in the fitness center cooler either.

Personnel at front desk we're very pleasant. The room needs to be updated and the mattress was uncomfortable and very noisy. The a/c in room was also very loud when running.

Nice Respite
This hotel is in a nice area. The front staff was friendly. The room was clean. I like the new type of roller blinds they have—eliminates light coming in the cracks. There was also a nice breakfast buffet.

Like the quiet, cleanliness, n for me convince of shopping n eateries, n close to my family...but they have got to change up or add to breakfast..n stop with the onions, as not everyone can eat them..has been same breakfast for a few yrs now..also with their wine-there r so many good wines out there n they serve Berringer..1st glass is free, but then u have to buy any additionals, n i would not pay for Berringer..how about using glass instead of plastic to serve wine..green tree has good looking glasses very cheap, n wine does taste better in glass as opposed to plastic..

Visiting family in Peoria. Hampton Suites was closest. It was good. Could use a horizonal handicapped bar instead of vertical in the bathroom. My husband did slip and fall in the shower. He is fine! No problem. Could REALLY use a towel bar or hook closer to the tub/shower. Rather tough to get the towel for short people. The bed was too high for short people. The toilet to short for tall people. But aside from that, we were comfortable. Breakfast was okay, just okay. Omlets were one choice only. Would have liked scrambled eggs as an option for those who do not like the omlet with peppers. The make your own mini waffels were really good.

Daytime staff didn’t acknowledge us coming or going. Night Gal was very friendly and personable. She was the best of whole experience. We had someone stomping around both mornings from 4am till nearly 6am. I imagine the person lived there and was preparing for work. Pool so small not enjoyable with more than 2 people in it. Sorry, for such a large hotel I was deeply disappointed.

The bathroom didnt look like it was cleaned properly. Hair ball on top of the sink to the side. The outside floor bottom part of the tub looked dirty with hair.

We did not have any issues with this hotel stay. Hotel was clean and the staff was courteous. It felt safe and parking was convenient.

Dog friendly hotel not so friendly to the guests!
On the first night of our 3 day stay, I would have given a higher review, but on day 2 there was intermittent dog barking through the night. On day 3, the dog next door was incessantly barking. The dog was apparently left alone while the guests when out for the night. We had to repack all our belongs and move to another room. I will not be staying at this hotel again.

When we are in Surprise, AZ we stay at the Hampton. It is close to our daughters. The rooms are always fresh and clean. We have never had an issue with staff or service. I have absolutely nothing negative to say. We even stayed during the pandemic and had no issues. This is our favorite place to stay.

10 minutes from Surprise Stadium- we were there for Royals Spring Training. Grocery store just a parking lot over, plenty of restaurants nearby. The free breakfast was the best of our 5 hotel trip. (We did many other family things around Arizona and the region)

Awesome place to stay for family
Stayed at this hotel last min for our superbowl weekend trip because the best western we were supposed to stay at caught fire the day before and we were not notified. This hotel was cheaper, had great breakfast, room was clean, staff was friendly. should have booked this one first but it was just a little further. we had 2 queen and double sofa bed suite fit my family of 5 perfectly.

At $190 a night, the room was furnished like a college dorm room, bare bones, IKEA style, nothing cozy about it. The “art” on the walls left a lot to be desired. The linens were rough and pillows were flat.

Allowing smoking at the entrance was a turn off. Children had to walk through smoke to get into a nonsmoking hotel. The same people literally sat at the entrance all day smoking and considering the HUGE ash trays provided to them it makes sense. Most dogs were fantastic but one standard poodle was in the eating area barking loudly every time someone walked by. Eventually it was taken care of, but it took a lot of people complaining. Staff was very nice and did their best

I stayed here while a family member was having emergency surgery at a nearby hospital for 5 nights. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The 24 hour coffee bar and breakfast was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. The Inn was a respite from an otherwise stressful stay.
The only thing that was odd was that housekeeping did not come everyday. I had to ask for them to come and clean every other day. When they did, it was immaculate but it was odd that I had to ask.
I would definitely stay here again.
