I booked this property on the Expedia app. When i arrived at the location that i had already paid for has posted signs stating the property had no hit water available until Monday. I refused to stay at the property after that and am still trying to get a refund from Expedia.

There was one sign out front that said "Rodeway," but other than that, this was not a Rodeway, and it did not have the quality I was expecting and had usually experienced with Rodeway. The person who I interacted with was not nice and I could not hear him through the small hole in the window he spoke to me through. The heater was loud but it worked well--I was lucky I had brought ear plugs so I could sleep. The other problem was that the water was not hot. I wanted to take a bath but the water was only lukewarm, and I thought that was very unfortunate. I did not like my stay there and I will think twice about staying a ta Rodeway in the future. (Inside the room this hotel called itself "V".) The room was depressing, and in the future I will spend more on hotel stays to avoid that kind of experience.

Good hotel but careful of uber costs to get there.
Very run down hotel,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,But very close to the airport. No shuttle that is the downside and uber/ Lyft want 30 dollars to bring you from the airport to the hotel a total rip off by Uber/ Lyft. With Lyft being the worst. One trip take train to the SFO rental car station from the airport for free. Exit the rental car station and walk to the hotel for free and save the uber money.

There are both positives and negatives. Good location. Modern feel. Parking. Wifi was absolutley trash. Would not stay connected and kept dropping. Cell coverage is apotty inside also. Shower head at my neck level. Bed bugs for sure as i got new bites every night.

Perfect if your working in the City and dont want to pay a ridiculous amount just to sleep and shower. I work 13 hour days for 3 days so this hotel was perfect.
Refrigerator worked great the shower head was excellent the TV can be updated but i just needed to watch the local news.
Popeyes, Dunken Donuts and Togos half a block up so just walked over.
I like this spot and only 11 miles to where i was working, very satisfied:)

Couldn't ask for any better during my week stay!
Other then being able to stay in what is more than adequate space to work or travel in the city, I find this Hotel to be excellent when questionable circumstances lead me to have to retrieve my package a couple days later due to stalls with deliver, only to come into questions regarding what luxury residentials pay well for the receptionist to assist with monitoring packages and securing it's retrieval to each client, over great service.

Room smelled of chlorine, but only in one corner. Hot water didn't work in the morning so we all had to take cold showers. Worked perfectly at night.

I intended to stay here for two nights, there was no access to water here. There was only one light that worked inside of the room. It was literally horrible and I had to check out early the following day because there was no water for us to shower or brush our teeth and the manager there said there wasn’t anything he can do and he couldn’t even give us a refund. Hoping I can get a full refund from Expedia or this hotel

1. 1 ice machine- not functioning.
2. After 3 attempts, got a TV remote that only worked 2' from set.
3. Had to request chair for desk.
4. No lamp on desk.
5. Plenty of hot water-- until Sun AM. Owner was unconcerned.
6. Temperature on fridge was unadjustable/broken- froze my water not in freezer compartment.
7. No heavy blanket for bed.
8. Heater was quite noisy.
9. I think the liquid shampoo and body soap were the same.
* Definitely would not stay there again.

Stay is good, but could still use some improvement
Pillows are stiff needs to softer, as well as bed mattress it be more softer, and coffee machine doesn’t come with any coffee filters no way to brew coffee. The coffee machine require filters for it’s ground offer packs. However, room is clean and looks to be modernized (renovated). The WI-FI is decent and their is free coffee at front desk lobby area.

Booked this for my colleague as he had a 9 hour layover at SFO. So I wanted him to have a nice place to sleep for a few hours and shower. Well, when he arrived, there was no one at the front desk. He had to wait several minutes outside in the cold for assistance and this was late at night! When he finally got to the room, it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Up on checking out early the next day, he asked the guy at the front desk how long it would take to get to the terminal and the guy said he didn’t know! What kind of airport hotel is this!? Don’t they get people checking in overnight on layovers? Don’t they know how long it takes to get from their location to the terminals? It was truly a bad experience for my colleague and I’m embarrassed I booked this place. Stay away! It’s a dump with unfriendly and bad customer service!

There wasn’t any hot water for the shower the outlets didn’t work so I couldn’t watch tv or charge my phone luckily my phone was charged or else I would of been stuck at 4am to get an Uber the next day to the airport.

Its easy access to the airport! It wont be quiet because of the airplanes but if you are looking for an affordable place to stay because you have a long layover this is not bad! Its clean and affordable

Pictures were misleading. Rooms were much smaller than they looked and the bathroom was tiny. Shower had awful water pressure. And there was no overhead lighting in the bathroom. The staff was very friendly and accommodating though and gave good recommendations for food.

The first room we were given had what appeared to be blood splattered in the bathroom. No lamp shade, totally destroyed chair. Stains and cigarette burns in bedding. A plastic bag over the smoke detector. Filthy! We were give a new room which wasn’t much of an improvement. Did not feel safe at this hotel. Door jams had been broken into.

I checked into a property across the street and soon after check in we counted 3 bugs of white 2 were roaches and the other was most likely a dead bed bug. We instantly checked out and reserved hotel v. From check in to check out the service was exceptional! The staff at check in ‘Robert’ assured me that I wouldn’t encounter the same experience at hotel v & he was rite. I will always stay there when I’m in the Bay Area.

It’s quiet it’s clean within five minutes there’s breakfast lunch dinner. Easy access to San Francisco San Francisco airport freeway is right there if you have a vehicle or if you are using Lyft or Uber they’re always in the area. But I didn’t likeI got up at 2 AM to go to the airport make a cuppa coffee before I left there was no coffee left in the room. The night before I went to go set the alarm clock to make sure I would get up the alarm clock did not work. I went to call the front desk picked up the phone the phone didn’t work. I did that I like the location I like that it’s quiet the staff is very friendly and helpful helpful

Fine place to say, check cleanliness
Hotel was fine. Just needed a place to spend the night. Nightstand and alarm clock were covered in old beer, so who knows what else they missed while cleaning.

They dont clean room every day. You use The same towels and sheets all days you stay.
They have cofre but dont give you water, yo have to ask for it ir buy it outside, and bring your own water

It was a pleasant surprise! Clean, well kept, hot water. A huge step up from the motel 6 we have spent time in during our trip. I would very much recommend this motel. Although it is by the airport it is just 10 min from downtown and has easy freeway access.

It was overall a good stay. Staff is very friendly. We made an oops while booking and the staff was very friendly enough to fix it. We needed to extend our stay and they accommodated it for us. Super friendly

The website states there are cribs available for $20 a day. Front desk says that’s not accurate. The room smelled like cigarettes. There was trash all over the ground at the bottom of the stairs.

It’s a fairly run down motel, not a hotel. . The only good thing is it’s quiet and clean in the room. The bed was moderately comfortable,
I wouldn’t stay here alone if I was single.

Hotel V is a motel, not a hotel, and only an average one.
Also, SFO has them listed as having an airport shuttle, but turns out they do not, and I had to pay for a Lyft which was not in my budget (plus extra schlepping around the airport).
No elevator, which made it difficult to get to the 2nd floor with my luggage.

Hotel V is not a 5 star hotel with all the amenities if that was what you are looking for. However it is a very nice hotel for the price. I just needed it for one night after getting in from late flight. It was very close and convenient from the airport. The rooms were clean and provided everything we needed. The gentleman at the front desk was more than accommodating with extra towels and pillows. Also my daughter left her Apple AirPods next to the bed… And I was pleasantly surprised that housekeeping found them and we were able to retrieve them. So thank you Hotel V!

This hotel is hella sketchy! Had someone try to enter our room at 3am using foul language! Disturbed me and my kids! Don’t think this is a safe hotel to stay at, you can just feel the vibe when you get there! I’ll never check in here again and I don’t recommend this hotel for anyone!

I have been using this hotel since Aug 2021 to stay for work, up until Nov 2021 I was able to check in early because my job starts at 10 pm so I would check in early, sleep then head off to work.
When I started checking in on Monday the clerk would not let me check in early even though I would always email the day before updating the hotel that I would be checking in around 9-10am. But one clerk has made it so hard to do this I have been checking in on Sunday night even though I am not sleeping there that day, just to not have to deal with this clerk and having to pay for a full night stay.
The hotel is on the day-use app and I would not mind paying a difference to check in early, or just look for another hotel to stay at. Given that I have been staying there 4 nights a week for close to 5 months I figure I would be welcomed. Not the case with the Monday day clerk.

I have never been compelled to write a negative review before but this place was just awful. This place is trying to disguise itself as a hotel when it’s really just a motel trying to nickel and dime you for everything.
CHECK-IN: I wasn’t aware that check-in is from 7am to 10:45pm, but I do appreciate them leaving a message asking when I’d anticipate to arrive as a reminder. The person assisting me did not mention any fees or deposits but after I checked my bank account I noticed multiple charges. Upon looking up reviews, multiple people have mentioned they were “resort and service fees” this was my bad for not reading the fine print before booking, but the amenities are so shoddy it hardly fees worth it to be paying these hidden fees. If I had known I’d have to pay all these fees (bringing the total up to the equivalent of the better known hotel chains around the area) I would have just stayed at the Sheraton or Doubletree next door. They didn’t even have toothpaste when I asked. Service desk is not available 24/7 so if your keycard demagnetizes and you arrive after 11pm tough luck getting back in.
ROOMS: The rooms are misleading and do not look as clean and nice as the pictures on booking websites. The car

Decent motel
We just needed a place to lay our heads before an early flight. Hotel V served that purpose. The motel is two floors, second floor access is via stairs and all rooms are accessed via exterior doors. The rooms were clean and have coffee makers, fridge, microwave, TV, USB outlets, hair dryer, and shampoo/body wash dispensers. I would stay again. It’s less than 2 miles to SFO (20 minutes drive at 4:15am the day we were traveling).

When I first arrived at Hotel V I was scared I made a mistake and that the hotel was going to be dirty. However, I entered the room and it was clean and smelled good. I demagnetized my key and tried to enter the room after hours, but thankfully they had an number I could call and was gracefully helped.
Few things that could’ve made this trip a little better would be working plug outlets, ability to input HDMI to the TV and better neighbors.

As, I was approaching the office a huge rat was in the door way. It was pooring rain outside and this was the only hoyel in the area that would allow me to check in early. However, uopn my arrival I was asked to wait until my name showed up on her computer stating I had a reservation. I decided to wait in my car since the rat scared me. I waited about 15 minutes I called the office and the lady confirmed my reservation I proceed to come into the office and she asked me if I could come later because it was her lunch time, I told her no Ii am traveling with an infant and it's pouring rain out I am not waiting.
She then told me I needed a 100.00 deposit which is fine I told her charge it to the account she replied with only cash, I don't take debit cards for deposits. I told her well, this is all I have is a debit card. She than proceed to charge my card but before that she asked me if there was money on my card for the deposit. I was shock she even said that to me. I felt as if she singled me out, I was alone and traveling with my 4 month old baby. I had no choice but to take her insults and get my baby settled in a room. I will never coome back to this place. Forgot to mention the hotel charges a resort fee! this place was not all that for a resort fee.

They gave no notice on the website that the office closed at 10:45. No one was there at 11:10 when I arrived. Total nightmare. Had to find other accomodations on a Saturday night. Now I have to dispute the charge with my bank. Terrible place. Don't stay there

When you arrive they charge you an additional $22.00 for each room for each night as a "Service Fee". This is in addition to what you already paid on Expedia. I felt like it was deceptive. The road noise was extremely loud throughout the night. Our rooms were run down and if wasn't so tired we would of left and found someplace else. I took pictures of the room and the rooms look nothing like the pictures displayed. We won't be back.

If staying in South San Francisco this the place. Down the street from Travel Lodge and Holiday inn Express (stayed at both) no $100.00 deposit or parking fees. Nice clean room with new remodel big tv in the room with all amenities. Their is a $22.00 resort fee but for the price it is the deal on Airport Blvd.

The hotel was ok and the rooms were also ok and clean the ONLY ISSUE WE FACED WAS THAT THE RECEPITION CLOSES AT 10:30PM AND WE WERE NOT ABLE TO REACH THERE ON TIME SO NO REFUND FOR THAT NIGHT so i suggest to read there policy before going to this location

Property and common areas clean. Staff very friendly & responsive. Unfortunately, the room, furniture, and towels all smelled like smoke. I had to switch to another room but that one also smelled like cigarettes. At the end of my 3 night stay, all my clothes smelled like smoke. At less than $60/night, you get what you pay for.
