Property was in terrible condition. Stunk, dirty, looks like it had been cleaned in months. Lock was hanging off the door, no heat in rooms period, AC although not used, was busted. This looks like a place that would charge by the hour.

Ok
Had to wait for over 10 minutes before someone came to the front desk to check us in—that was only after I called the hotel phone. Room was comfortable and clean, but there was very loud shouting outside our room late in the night. Not a good experience for our kids.

You get what you pay for
The room was clean and had updated furnishings. But the towels were dingy and stained. Outside the property was less nice than the room. Trash cans overly full. Weird stuff like little bbq grills, shoes and bikes stored outside various rooms. Do people live here? Cars in lot seemly being repaired. Big commercial vehicles and trailers stored on site. Breakfast closed early. I went in at 9:50 and they said they only had coffee. I tried the coffee but it was cold. They didn’t care. No offer to make more. Just too lazy to be bothered I think. Cheap but still overpriced in my opinion.

Proprietor put us in a smoking room with king bed. Our reservation was for non smoking room with 2 double beds. When we arrived back later in the evening he had put another customer in the same room. Had to change rooms 2 more times and still found the entire experience completely unsatisfactory in every way.

No one there for checkout, left keys in container. Linens old, towels looked used, no extra blanket, old keys left in room. Refrigerator needed to be defrosted. Cost too much for this old facility. Was not worth staying there for 241.44 per night

PLEASE DO NOT stay at this motel. We have called three times to speak with the manager and we have been told multiple times that he would get back to us or he was on vacation. We made the reservation for a VT family weekend and paid 3x the value of the room.
The room was dirty and unclean. The bathroom was moldy along the baseboards and the room and property looks worn out. There are cars on the property that are broken down and it appears that people are living long term in the rooms. The electrical outlets need repair as it seems like a handymen worked on it but didn’t finish his work.
We didn’t feel unsafe but didn’t feel like the security of the property was being handled by the guests staying around the property.
One more thing, when you walk into the motel office it smells like an ashtray. Not a great first impression.
I would discourage anyone from staying here. If you have to stay here, because nothing else around is left, don’t pay more than $80/night.

We stayed at the property on parents’ weekend for VT so they (and every hotel in a 25 mile radius) were sold out. They originally assigned us to a room that clearly had been a smoking room and then some other noxious scent had been sprayed over top to mask the smoke. It was also dirty and had roaches in the bathroom. I was extremely grateful that despite being sold out they moved us to another room when we complained. The 2nd room was still…not great, but it did not have a smoking smell. Bring extra socks if you stay here, you will not want to walk barefoot on the floor. I am really not uptight about cleanliness but I won’t choose to stay here again—I’d rather have a longer drive to Blacksburg.

I asked for 2 queen beds and I was given 2 full beds My kids who are teens and I were very uncomfortable it was a horrible stay the housekeeping came in before check out and saw me in my underwear

The bathroom had several flies, the sink handle fell off, the light switch in bathroom was broken, the toilet seat was broken, the sheets had stains on them the staff was not friendly, the breakfast was white bread, no pastries, cereal and a waffle machine but no syrup, hardly a breakfast as advertised, I would stay somewhere else if there were other options.

Terrible never stay again
The hotel was very dirty, it had ants, the bathroom very dirty and had mold, the bathtub cloths room 103, furniture are very old and dirty. Front desk staff are not helpful and not friendly It was a nightmare to stay at Super 8 hotel and that is my last,

Shower not working properly…called manager who was unable to rectify the situation…manager even hang up my call. Manager was not there at 10:40 check out time…had to wait around 30 minutes. Buildings look great in picture, looking like two house complex but actual rooms are one storied buildings. The redeeming quality is that rooms are cleaned, blankets and beddings are daily new and in good condition and there is no smelly stuffs like smoking. Did not get a chance to taste the breakfast since we had to be somewhere else at the time.

Bad Hotel overall
The maid service was non existent. The pool has been out of service for 5 years and they still say there is a pool there. The toilet would constantly run and never flush properly. The shower while in use always Fluctuates in temperature goes from freezing cold to scolding hot. The TV remote did not work properly. I do not recommend visiting or staying in this Super 8.

Good for the money, but needs some work.
Good value for the money, but the air conditioning was loud and didn’t cool much. Good thing it was June and not later in the summer. Small ants in the bathroom, and the bathroom could use some shelves. The door lock was decrepit and requires some puzzle solving to open.

Towles were very stained and musty, no maid service, asked for clean towles and were told to come get them ourself. No hair dryer, food in fridge pool was closed even though advertised pool available. Will never stay again.

Booked smoking rooms, got non smoking room. Nobody could fix the tv. Someone was apparently not leaving and sleeping naked in one of the rooms and the cops had to be called. Nice front desk people when they were actually there.

Clean no frills hotel
This hotel is very clean and safe, which is a blessing at this price. It is not perfect, but it's affordable. WiFi is stronger near reception than the far side of the hotel. Breakfast offers a variety of juices, toast, and waffles. And coffee and tea of course. Very kind people working here.

You get what you pay for. The price was unbeatable compared to the hotels in the areas. Was there for a graduation and booked super late. Was able to check in late and had room available immediately. Front desk gentleman was kind and informative. Housekeeping was able to provided extra linens the next morning. No fuss or hassle. Checkout process was easy as well. The cleanliness is the only downfall. Stains on sheets and towels and trash left in room. But room smelled good when entering and was truly a non smoking room which we appreciated. A little outdated decor.

We asked for non-smoking, but we’re put in a disappointing, ill-repaired smoking room for a night. They were able to move us the next day and the non-smoking room was much better. An older, somewhat problematic stay.

Okay Stay.
The sheets and floor were pretty dirty. Seemed to have little pieces of dirt everywhere so overall comfort was pretty low. We were there for a single night, so it put us somewhere with a roof over a head, but overall below average.

Worth it
Room was not ready when I arrived but after a short delay, everything was fine. Quiet and comfortable, slept well all night, and no toiletries were missing. Nice area ... convenient area with polite staff.

I went to check in afterhours and the room I was assigned had not been cleaned. The property really needs to be modernized but for the price it can meet most folks needs. Be aware that smoking is allowed outside so if you have sensitivities this is not the best choice.

This place is ridiculous! First they changed my room and didn’t get what I wanted because they say a pipe had burst. Ok, no problem, but then they put us in this dirty room with no security lock in the door. We asked for another room. Sure, no problem. Then I unpack my things, get ready to take a shower and no water! I wasn’t even there for an hour but still have to pay for a whole night and they refunded the rest of my nights. You would think that they had already checked all the water since they knew they were having an issue in the room that I had originally booked. Disappointed!

The experience totally depends on the person at the desk and the particular room you get. It's a cheap motel, you get what you expect. It can have charm and it can be awful. Our first stay was nice; the manager was helpful and kind and the room was fine. A week later we had a terrible room, got locked in the bathroom with a broken door knob, bathroom fan didn't work, toilet ran all night, the heater kept going on and off, keeping us up. There was absolutely no one in the front office during checkout to address our concerns. Had to call Wyndham to figure out how to check out. I've come here for years though, usually it's nicer than this.

Not good.
Waited nearly 20 minutes for someone to show up to check in. On surface room looked clean but discarded used tissues were behind and under the bed. The bathtub was dirty. The beds advertised as queen were closer to full-size. Will not stay again.

You should be ashamed you have this hotel on your site and charged almost $300 for this “hotel”. I have never stayed in a more disgusting place. The bed spread had cigarette holes, there was hair on the lamp, an old razor in the bathroom, electrical tape around the tub stopper. Did I mention the bugs flying around the room.

Honestly - beggars can’t be choosers and this was one of the last places left close to the tech game. We found leftover drinks in the fridge, snack crumbs on the floor, 3 towels for 5 people, and crappy “toiletries”. But…it was a roof over our head and the beds weren’t terrible.

The room was as advertised, spacious and simple. However, we booked a non-smoking room and it was clearly a smoking room. Additionally, we noticed hairs on the pillows on both beds. Despite arriving late in the evening and with a high volume week for college check-in at VA Tech, we chose to make reservations elsewhere although the front desk manager offered another room.

Very dated bathroom and updates done half ass. Shower head needs to be cleaned or replaced. Holes in the walls patched .
There was an outdoor area that need to be cleaned up, liquor bottle, cigarette butts all over the ground. Two guess outside there room smoking pot and playing music with a lot of four letter words, so setting outside on a beautiful evening wasn’t a options last night.
Trash can outside of room filled up and not lid on it to keep insects any.
Now realizing that for 36 hours I wouldn’t say at that hotel!!!

Not good even for a quick overnight stay
The mistake we made was to book online as a non refundable booking on this site. As soon as we say the motel we realized it’s not going to be great. But it ended up in a terrible experience. The non smoking room was full of smell of a smoking room. We couldn’t sleep because of that. The bathroom was dirty with stains and the tap was taped to the wall with a duct tape. The breakfast area had a terrible smell and the floor was sticky.

I appreciate having laminate flooring in the room.
There were cigarette burns all over the bed comforter and no smoke alarm in this non smoking room. The WiFi and TV worked intermittently. The advertisement showed a nice pool and was listed as an amenity. This is one of the reasons I chose this motel so my kids and I could play in the pool. It wasn't open. There were a lot of shady characters around that were apparent residents of this establishment. There were shady looking people that would just hang out in their cars for hours in the parking lot. It didn't feel safe. The coffee was awful to boot. I would have moved to another motel if I had the funds.

We had a nonsmoking room you could smell smoke as soon as you opened the door. The bed had burn spots from a cigarette all over it. There was no small trash can in the room.

This was a budget option so we were not expecting luxury. On the positive side, we arrived after midnight, in the rain and they were having computer trouble however they checked us in surprisingly fast and they were friendly throughout the process. On the not so great side, the room, though clean, had a strong scent of cleaning product or air freshener.

Super 8 in Christiansburg, VA
The bedsheets were stained and I reserved a standard room with a king size bed, but upon check-in the clerk gave me a double bed because he said I booked a handicap room, which I had no idea that I did. The small refrigerator made a buzzing sound all night and we only had one wash rag.

There was suppose to be an attendant in the office and there was none. When I picked up the phone out side the office window to call him, it fell off the wall. The bathroom was moldy. The coffee maker in the room was not clean and the holder for the coffee had been used and just rinsed off. It was not in sealed bag. There were a number of unsavory people hanging around. The Expedia page indicated the was a lite breakfast available beginning at 6am but it was not open until 6:30 and I would not have eaten there anyway. A man just outside our door was vaping. In no way did the room measure up to CDC guidelines for cleanliness. Wyndham should be ashamed to associate their name with this morel motel.

So there was nothing clean about this property. Didn't sleep under covers trim failing faucet for shower leaked and was 3/4" gap off the tub wall broken light switches dirty microwave dirty fridge. This motel need some serious influx of repair. Rating was 2of 5. Continental breakfast isn't granola bars and oatmeal packets with no way to heat it. No ice lights in facility not working.

Run fast
Within the first hour there the cops and ambulance was there for drug activity. A woman unknown to me came and put a bunch of stuff on my windshield. Filed a complaint about the woman and manager said it's okay take it back to her or throw it away. It was very noisy as well. We booked for a smoking and two queen beds in advance and ended up with nonsmoker and two double beds. We left within a couple of hours of getting there and booked another room and now they refuse to repay me back. I wouldn't let my dog stay there.

I booked a smoking room when I got there staff was scrambling to find a room at 4pm. Then they finally give me a non smoking room and say no smoking lol. So walk in burn marks on bed then the tub burn makes everywhere.
