The property is close to the South Point Casino and Convention Center so this is a good alternative to lodging there. It seems to be a timeshare sort of property and with that it is less like a hotel and more like a condo//suite.
There is no daily housekeeping service. Rooms are huge and well furnished complete with kitchen. Hallways and elevators could use cleaning or at least a good vacuum.

Scam! Scam! Scam! .... The hotel was a time share, they told us that they offer a $20 VIP breakfast when we checked in so I thought it would be a nice add on, but when we showed up to breakfast we were told we can't eat until we listen to a sales pitch. Never ever have I had such a low life scam happen at an American hotel, I expect this in Mexico but not in America. So sad that they scammed us for just $20 and tried to ruin our morning by listening to a sales pitch before breakfast, I ask for my $20 back and they said I signed a contract when I signed up for breakfast during the time when I checked in the hotel. So sad that a regular hotel would do this.

Great place with loser guests
Thursday night and Friday night were great. On Saturday night a bunch of losers moved it and partied all night. They were smoking dope right by the front door to the complex. Great place, but loser guests.

The campus was hard to navigate. There are not enough signage. We were never able to find the “Deli”. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Room was spacious and comfortable

Hot water was not hot for a shower at 6:30 am, only warm. Poor water flow. Shower grout needed bleaching. Not moldy, but darkening & on it's way to being moldy. Unacceptable. Everything else in the suite was adequate. Bed comfortable. Quiet. Decor outdated but was not a primary consideration to chose this lodging.

We were given a handicap room with a broken shower head. When we asked if we could move rooms the manager said yes but we’d have to pay more money. The manager was very rude. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. Shower was absolutely terrible. Be careful what kind of room you pick on Expedia.

- It smelled strongly of body odor or something that resembled it.
- None of the lights or outlets worked in the main bedroom.
- None of the TV's in the hotel room worked (2 tv's)
- Shower flooded after 45 seconds and it took 5 minutes for the water to heat up.
- Took 45 minutes to check in because we made the reservation 5 hours before arriving and apparently their system updates once per day.
- We tried talking with the front desk to see if they would give any sort of credits or refund but they said there's nothing they could do and it would be up to the manager who was not available and didn't return our call.

The outside sliding door was stuck open the whole time we were there which I believe drew a homeless man in that sat in the hallway floor one day. That was a bit unsettling.
Other than that, Grand View is always a great place to stay.

Check out time was not accurate. Our reservation confirmation states 11am check out. However the actual check out was 10am and the staff was quite pushy about us being out on time. There was also some maintenance during the last day. Woken up by hammering in the hallways.

Staying in a bigger suite is much better than a small room at a casino for the same price! Plus here at GrandView you dont have to sacrifice convenience. South Point Casino is right next door đź‘Ť Its not the strip, but area got plenty restaurant options. All within walking distance. Definitely staying here yet again!

Bathroom had no vent fan. Vents were CAKED with dust. To get a parking sticker you have to meet with a sales rep (they dont just give it to you at checkin) for some rype of breakfast/lunch event where they dont tell you the required $20 is nonrefundable if you dont go. Asked for the money back and was told "absolutely not." No room service available. Not enough parking by the entrance. Housecleaning never showed up after a 1 week stay. Maintenance didnt come after being called for a broken tv. A decent room but terrible service.

Was a very nice suit. Loved how they had utensils (pots, pans, cooking spoons, plates, cups) un the room so we didn't have to worry about packing all thay. Only thing we didn't like was the room said it had 2 king beds but they didn't look like king beds. The beds looked more like maybe a queen maybe a little smaller but that was the only thing we didn't like. Over all we had a good stay. Will definitely be using this hotel again.

There are about 6 tall buildings, each with 20 stories.
The unit I was assigned to was in building#6, on 3rd floor.
The unit is huge, about 800 sqft with separate bedroom, in-suite tub, large bathroom, full kitchen, in-unit washer/dryer combo-unit, safe, 2 TVs, and living room. Good if you plan to prepare your own meals. It is a comfortable stay.

Comfortable, Could use a deep clean, but over all good. Left disappointed, I left by sunglass on the kitchen counter when I checked out (my fault I forgot them) and they were never turned in to lost and found :(

Great place to stay. Great room, amenities, layout of the hotel site, proximity to restaurants, and reception customer service.
Check in process could be improved; it was long and complex relative to other hotels, and took longer than the 15m the check-in parking spaces allow.

The check in staff were quite rude when asking basic check in questions. Don’t have many amenities and rely a lot on the south pointe hotel. Our rooms were dirty, stains and handprints on doors, walls and furniture. You have to ask the front lobby for more towels as there was no information about no maid service. They do not offer many discounts, or shuttle service. Staff are very pushy about getting timeshares as well, in our opinion it’s not worth it.

Generally a good stay. Two main pools by Bldg 1 & 2 are nice along with the hot tubs. However, 1 pool was warm with many people enjoying it. The 2nd pool was ice cold! Needless to say, no one was in the pool. Not sure why resorts do this, when they can plainly see no one enjoys cold pools.

Check-in was very easy. We were showed on a map which building we were in. Upon arriving at our building, there was a man standing by the elevator ensuring people were able to make it to their floor, as these elevators broke down OFTEN. We were on the 4th floor, so luckily it wasn’t as bad for us when we weren’t able to use an elevator. We did pass people that had to trek up to the 12th floor, so that must have sucked.
Our room was fine. There was a clean bed for us to sleep in. You had to wear shoes in the rooms, otherwise your feet turned black instantly. They seemed to never have been mopped. There was also small piles of trash and debris in the corners- dust, popcorn kernels, things like that.
Upon checkout, I am glad we decided to call in and see what all we needed to do before leaving. They require you to take out all your own trash, leave piles of dirty linens, and strip the bed. I wouldn’t have known unless we called.
Overall, the place was fine. I would prefer a cleaner encipherment, but that’s just me. Being next to South Point was nice!

When we got to our room, door adjacent was open and flooded and water was almost to our door. Hallway carpet was soaked and smelled terrible. Turns out it was like that since the morning and not attended to. We called and a maintenance person came to clean he did a good job but terrible smelled stayed and could be smelled in our room. No effort to move us even after request.
Everytime we had to go in and out we had to gag thru the smell. We complained again to the front desk and asked for a manager. We were told none was available and one will stop by but none ever did. No one called back either. There was no bedding in the room for the sofa bed. Just an overpriced, unclean place. Too busy filling rooms and no care for issue. We should have been moved or at least part of the stay credited back. There were no good food or coffee options on the property. I would never stay here again.

This hotel room was filthy dirty. Dust everywhere, floors hadn’t been mopped in a long time, there were other peoples hair everywhere. Took 15 mins to get hot water that barely trickled out of the shower head. Disgusting!

I loved that it's essentially an apartment with several amenities, including a full kitchen and jacuzzi tub in the room. I did not love that they wouldn't allow a late checkout and that they put someone in the lobby who invites you to breakfast and offers you a gift card under the guise of a "free gift" WITHOUT telling you you're signing up for a 3-hour timeshare presentation. Highly unethical and I will not be returning because of this.

Nice Stay With A Caveat
Sadly, the elevators in Bldg. 3 Lily was quite a disappointment. One elevator was inoperable for over a week, and then the working one broke down as well. It continued to work intermittently with repairs being done.
We've stayed here two other times and was quite happy with its location, condition, and amenities. The front office personnel are very friendly and helpful.

1 room of the 2 hadn’t been cleaned and had an odor. It took awhile to get taxis- we had to walk to another area to get one. The pull out beds did not have completed bedding. The front desk tried to help. The toilet broke. A bolt rusted off and started leaking

I liked how the suites had full kitchens. It was nice. However the bedding was not clean. The flat sheet was dirty. Found make up on one of the corners of the sheet. And one of the sinks in the restroom would fill up quickly.

We have stayed at the Grandview many times before. Management has let the place go. The first room smelled of sewer gas. Second room just not clean. Dresser in disrepair, microwave didn’t work. Tv remotes missing. The building it self had one elevator broken for two days the other elevator broke for several hours on the second day. Service elevator also broke. Management no since of urgency. It is not what it used to be.
