Old Hard Rock hotel. Not the best neighborhood, but not the worst. Hotel is clean, staff is super nice. Rooms are clean. Great deal for the price. Especially a week before Vegas hosted a Super Bowl

Great new modern hotel
A last minute booking and it was so easy. Because we checked in after 5pm, it was quick & easy. We were in the Opel Tower so it was quite a walk from the lobby. The hotel is new, felt clean and modern. Our room was great. Clean and I loved the set up. Bonus: the vanity!! Even though the hotel is extremely close to the airport, the noise was minimal. Obviously they took the steps to make the windows soundproof. Great stay. Definitely will book again.

The bed was SO Comfortable! The room was nice, it wasn't cramped. The orange sofa was very low to the ground and not very comfortable. The material wasn't soft. There was a dinning table, a desk area and an orange desk type chair. They provided 2 - 10 oz bottles of water each day in the room and had options to purchase from the mini bar. The shower was wonderful, very hot water with a cedar stool to sit on in the shower under the rainfall shower head. This was very helpful for a sore back. The commode - This was strange as it was not a pedestal type commode, but it was screwed to the wall - There was a lot of movement of the commode and you could see where caulk had been added to seal it. I suspect this is an issue in most rooms and the plumbing must be connected to the room next door - the commode was moving on it's own - Very disturbing when you're using it!! LOL!

The property was good over all, but there was a fire during my stay in the ruby tower and the front desk workers had no clue even as the fire department was arriving.

Very nice hotel and not super crowded. They did have restaurants and a little convenience store but beware it is very expensive. I booked with expedia in advance so i wouldn't have to worry once i arrived but the hotel has a resort fee thst put me out of $600 during the trip so keep that in mind.

Very nice and convenient. Good place on a check inn the reception called Margarita. She welcome us. She let us check in a little earlier than we supposed to. She’s very friendly good customer service and lovely smile thank you.

The property was beautiful! We were missing a few amenities in our room. Also, I didn’t like that when we booked through Expedia there was a resort fee of $51.02 per day, what you are paying for is not feasible to use on a daily basis, except 2 free waters that arent provided daily like it is listed.

Clean hotel, but nothing really special.
I had been to this place many a time when it was Hard Rock. It's clearly been redesigned, which is probably a good thing. Very basic kind of bare bones hotel. Nothing really unique about it. I came for business for one night. Just kind of a bland experience. Not to say it's always like this but definitely seems like it will be hard to draw people in from the Strip.

This property was beautiful and very clean. Staff were all very friendly. Restaurants were great. The room was spacious with incredible views. We did rent a car so we were able to get around. This hotel is not on the strip and not near a tram so you would need a car. With that being said nothing is really more then a 10-20 minute ride. We did go into several other high end hotels for shows or dining and the smell of cigarette smoke is very overwhelming. This was not the case with our hotel and I was very thankful. I would definitely recommend.

Good, but not Virgin great.
The Virgin property was very nice. I liked the design of the smaller casino and it made for east walking around the property. The room was nice, but nothing exceptional. I was expecting a bit more of the Virgin brand, but I'll stay there again due to the nicer atmosphere and good room rate.

35 minute wait to check-in. The hallways smell of dog urine all the time, garbages not emptied in common areas where people throw their dog potty pads which makes it smell like dog pee while you wait for elevators. The restaurants are great, staff all seem bored and lackluster, and there is a serious shortage of front desk employees. The rooms lack amenities, and the shower had a sewage smell to it at times.

Some staff members were somewhat rude.
The first night, the shower in our first room was holding water and we didn’t get the issue resolved until the next morning (after finally being able to switch to a new room).
The maintenance people who came to our room were disrespectfully and surprisingly rude. If they don’t like their jobs, they should find new work- definitely not our problem.

Surprisingly nice rooms, great food options and mellow casino floor with friendly dealers. Compared to the zoo that is all of the casinos on the Strip, being two blocks off the Strip at Virgin is a much better fit and the hotel provides plenty of entertainment and then the Strip is just a 5 minute Uber away. I will stay here again for sure.

In addition to the fantastic room, the Virgin was well done in the entirity of renovation. The detail in the use of beautiful geodes as door handles and the main bar was exquisite!
Every detail large or small was aesthetically pleasing. The colors were not overbearing. The artwork was pleasing to the eye.
The energy of the Virgin was calm and soothing. Not chaotic in the least.
Stay here again, ABSOLUTELY! It very well be my go to place to stay on all future visits.

I didn’t like the theater seats-out dated and very uncomfortable. The Venue closed the last performance after only two songs. Very unprofessional of the Virgin Theater. I will no longer attend an event at the Virgin Theater.
The rooms need fridge and microwave.

The location of this hotel is not my favorite and there really should not be a resort fee but I am so grateful that it is truly pet friendly and very clean. The designated pet relief area is clean and smells clean. This hotel is off of the strip so it is not over crowded. The rooms are very beautiful and very clean. The staff is very professional and courteous. I would definitely stay here again.

Second time to stay here. The rooms are very spacious and modern. Very nice wardrobe and makeup areas that light up by sensors. The beds were super comfy. The restaurant was very good quality with average vegas prices. The casino was quiet enough but busy enough to have lots of fun! The staff at the tables and the waitresses were top notch. It is about 1.5 miles to the strip, but tbh it was nice to get out of the hustle and bustle when we would arrive back to the hotel. It was not overwhelming with crowds. I would go again. My favorite dealer was Franklin ❤️😎

For those on a work trip
I was in town for one night and I caught your rates at an amazing price. I needed a really late check out and was offered a suite upgrade for a price that nobody would say no to. I spent the day incredibly comfortable and got a ton done in my little apartment. Parking was free and really convenient. I will be coming back.

The hotel was amazing! We had a good experience from the time of check in and check out. The staff was amazing and always helpful. The best part was having the theater in the same place. It is very convenient when you are staying in the same place for an event. The only thing I didn't like and they should have is a refrigerator. There is one in the room but it is filled with their items. Other than everything else was good.

Rooms are really nice! Seems recently renovated. Plugs for devices EVERYWHERE! Spacious, clean, and bright.
Initially got a connected room in Canyon tower on lower floor with no view, but noise from adjacent room carried over easily so we asked to switch. Got a high room in Opal tower with a view and that fixed the situation brilliantly! Thanks to the folks at front desk! Both rooms were as nice inside, although the beds in Canyon seem slightly better.
This hotel has daily housekeeping and they leave 2 small bottles of water daily for free. There is an overpriced minibar, snack, and "appropriately" priced "intimacy kit" in the room ;-). There is no coffee machine. Ice is available on each floor. The mini-fridge is packed with the paid items and you can jam 2 beers of your own in it, but it doesn't really cool very well.
Hotel is about 15 mins walk from the strip. There is a plaza outside with food offerings at non-strip prices -- Gangnam BBQ restaurant in particular was very good -- we got the best price/performance ratio for food there during our stay. CVS was also at the plaza.
Overall a very nice hotel for 2 kids and 2 adults.

Memorable Stay and Gratitude at Virgin
I had a wonderful stay with my family at this hotel. On the first day, my mother-in-law felt dizzy and fell, but the security staff came with a wheelchair all the way from the Paradise building parking lot to our room, assisting us greatly. I believe the staff member's name was Dylan, but at that moment, I couldn't fully express my gratitude due to the situation. I'm truly grateful for your kindness. That staff member enhanced the values of this hotel! The atmosphere was familial, the interior luxurious, and there was minimal cigarette smell, which was appreciated! We'll definitely come back!

Check-in was smooth but upon arrival to my room the room was not clean. It looked as if the bed was made that’s it. The floors were dirty; had previous guest clothing tags, ripped up cardboard, dog treat crumbs, dog hair and condiment wrapper on the floor. The couch was covered in dog hair from top to bottom. The bedside table had crumbs on it as well as the sitting area table. The bathroom was not clean; toilet had feces residue in it and hair on the floor outside of the shower. We instantly called guest services to have our room changed the 2nd room had a STRONG urine odor so I called back. The manager came up to look at the room and sent housekeeping up while we left to eat. After returning the room was cleaned and smelled like cleaning supplies. We also purchased our own cleaning supplies to go over everything. Afterwards I was pleased enough to lay down.
The restaurants in the hotel: The Kitchen I’d rate a 3 out of 5. The food is bland but it’s something to eat late night. The breakfast there was good though. Pizza Forte was delicious we ate there multiple times. The ice cream place was really good as well.
The pet relief area: Avoid it. I wouldn’t even let my dogs paws touch that turf. You can tell it’s not regularly cleaned bc you can smell the area way before getting to it. I’ve stayed at multiple hotels that have pet relief areas even dog parks none smell like a porta potty.
Overall the hotel itself is decent. You get what you pay for.

They took unreasonable charges at the begging. $300 as a deposit is unheard of. Plus $100 that is nonrefundable for who knows what. The desk worker was very rude when we asked what was the money for and if we still need to pay for the amenities they counted the money towards. She said “Obviously yes.” So till this day it is a mystery why they charged that money. The room was nice but it’s very loud outside and you can hear everything.
