Drug deals out the back door, room smelled like old cigarettes and gave me asthma. Doors have a huge gap in them and don't close properly. I brought my service dog and they stuck me in a double queen room at the end of the hall instead of the king room I booked, presumably because that's their 'dirty' room in case the dog is a fake? The room smelled awful compared to other guests.

The room was run down. Most staff was nice, but the person working checkin on my first night was unfriendly and not helpful. My had water damage and carpet was gross. Bathroom and bedding were clean.

Room had a funky smell coming out of the AC unit. Breakfast is advertised as 6am and when we checked the front desk wrote 6-9am on our room card holder. Breakfast was at 7 on the weekends and we specifically chose this hotel because of the early breakfast time. Room was otherwise clean, service came in and replenished toiletries but didn’t make the beds which was odd.

Room was fine but the other guests were loud and and when we were in our room people were arguing outside for hours when our kids were trying to sleep, breakfast had a variety hit all hot food was cold.

The staff Mrs Irene was wonderful and very welcoming. Very understanding of the situation with Expedia. The hotel was great, but Expedia was not so great. I will never use Expedia again.

The Manager of this property is very rude. The front desk staff are rude as well and the Indian workers are lazy period. Not helpful at all. Rooms have various damages which continue to go un fixed. No water in water dispenser at the supposed to be work out center. Swimming Pool area not monitored or cleaned. House keeping staff falsify room cleaning sheets. Linens are only changed every 3 days. Door entrances leading to rooms locks damaged and anyone can wander in which is a safety and security issue.Hotel key not necessary to gain entry into hotel. Over all this was the worse lodging experience I have ever had. Definitely will NOT be returning.

I’ve stayed at this property several times, it’s been a few years since I have. The condition since the last time I was here have gone downhill in dramatic fashion. From the staff all the to even the coffee isn’t as good as it was in 2017-2020. How about some towel racks near the sink?!

The hotel was nice only issues we had were our room wasn't thoroughly clean there was hair in the shower and it wasn't vacuumed thoroughly either. The cleaning ladies had a nasty attitude when I asked them to please vacuum and if we could get some clean towels and toilet tissue one lady glanced at me and walked away as I was talking to her so basically I was talking to her back. The pool water was cold and it could use a cleaning. The breakfast was good and they gave complimentary chocolate chip cookies which were fantastic. The front desk people and the chef/cook were awesome.

Check in was quick and painless. Room was good size and clean, no smoke odor. I dislike the fact that you can't check in till 3pm but force you out at 11am. Many establishment have similar policies but I think it's unfair, you pay for a day but they force you out hours before a full day and try to make you feel guilty if you ask for a few extra minutes to stay to gather your belongings.

Not so Comfortable Inn
It was very disappointing. Guess they were doing some remodeling. Shoddy workmanship everywhere. Smears and undone edges etc etc. The towels were not white and one of them had rust stains/spots on them.
The overall quality of Comfort Inn has been declining over the years. This is the second one that we have stayed in over the last few months with less that desirable conditions.

The room was clean, beds were comfortable, and the staff was hard working. I would stay there again. Yet, there was a couple little annoyances. no place for a hand towel next to the sink and there was no garbage next to the sink. Other than that it was pretty good.

The location was great! The hotel was clean. There were no issues with the hotel or staff.
The mattresses on the beds were sunken in the middle, we saw that as soon as we walked in.
The hot breakfast was not hot, it was lukewarm at best, and we ate at the middle of the scheduled breakfast hours.

Pretty average hotel. Small entry, good bed, good breakfast options, staff was not very pleasant. Twice they sent guests to our room when it was occupied by us. That's poor management. Check out required a guy making a phone call to someone for five minutes then staying you're good to go. They require a $100 refundable deposit at check in. Not very trusting of a guest that's paying good money to stay at your establishment.

Of all my years staying at hotels, this hotel was the first in the many trips I took to the front desk because issues with the key cards. The inconvenience it caused was unbearable. In addition, missing lightbulbs in the room was another issue. I have never been so displeased with a facility.

My Go-to hotel
Especially clean and fresh smelling room. I chose this hotel because it's advertised as non-smoking and I was not disappointed.
The sheets and blankets were very comfortable as well.
I slept through the breakfast so cannot comment on that but will make this my go to hotel for visiting my family in future!

The receptionist could not find our reservation, even after I provided a copy of it.
There was a dead bug and a hair pin on the floor.
The bottom of the plastic tub is broken.
The TV had not signal.
The window was closed but unlocked (we were on the first floor).

Not worth the price at all
Okay I will start by saying some of the most comfortable beds Ive stayed in! Keri I believe was who checked us in and she was over busy and alone, but very helpful and friendly. Now this place is older, smells musty (when it doesnt smell of weed) and just not worth more than $60 a night. Our tv didnt work because it was a Roku tv and we didnt even have the Roku remote! Once we got it, it still didnt work. Fortunately we had our laptop that we were able to hookup to the tv. There were patched holes in the room, the desk chair was broken, the AC fan didnt work to actually blow air more than 2ft away, our door itself barely closed, the side door didnt work with keycard so people kept a rock in the door (makes you feel real safe), breakfast was ok it ended at 10am yet when we went at 9 they were already packing stuff up. I definitely would not stay here again.

We weren’t informed that CovId rules were still followed. They also forgot to mention that the cleaning request has to be implicitly made to the front desk.
Luckily the cleaning staff was very helpful in accommodating our request (made after hours)

Property needs updating although it seems they tried. Peeling paint, nicks in furniture.... Temperature very humid in building. Towels shed when drying off. I was bit by bug while sleeping. Breakfast was surprising good and a large offering of healthy options.

This is a very old hotel. The bathroom tub which was jetted was broken, caulking was old and moldy, faucet in the sink leaked when turned on. So much construction around the area made it difficult to get around. Def upgrades needed.

The hotel is outdated and states they have breakfast included but when I went down the room was closed when I asked the lady at the front desk she said she didn't know why it should be open and she didn't know where the person was to open the area.

The staff was very kind and helpful. We discovered what looked like mold above our shower and we’re immediately offered a new room. Not sure what it was (dark marks on ceiling)… but a staff member came to look right away.

Check in time was at 3…when I got there, I was told that there was some sports team there that didn’t check out until after 1 so there wasn’t any clean rooms available and that I wouldn’t be able to check in until after 4…Not once was there a phone call or anything like that letting me know prior to me driving there that there was an issue, the manger at the front desk didn’t apologize once or offer anything g to make up for the hour and half that I was missing out on, I was given a room key and when I went back in to see if that room was ready, I was asked to bring that key back and was given another one…The new room only had two full size beds when I paid for two queen size beds and when I called the didn’t desk, I was blown off with wing told there wasn’t any two queen size rooms available…I will never stay there again

Ok for work trips
Was disappointed that room was not ready even after I arrived 3.5 hours after stated check in time. Then was moved into a different type of room than the one I had booked. Staff was friendly. On-site fitness room is not good, BUT the huge bonus here is that you get a daily pass to an absolutely beautiful mega fitness facility across the street.

The staff here was excellent! I had a scheduling mishap through expedia amd they did everything that they could to help me. Jeff at the front desk was so genuinly polite about our situation and the GM, Keri, was just lovely. When my dad went down to breakfast, there was no one else there and no coffee had been made so the woman working at the front offered to make coffee just for him. It was a fantastic experience! Would stay here again!

The Bates Motel
The shower drain didn't work in my 1st room (213), so I took a shower with a pool of water at my feet about ankle height by the time I was done. I informed the front desk attendant, who said he could send a plunger up. I guess he knew I wasn't having that from the pause on the line. So he then said I could switch rooms. This room wasn't any better (306). It had spackle in the tub where the tub was obviously damaged and there is a bar on the wall that was coming apart & looking real suspect and disgusting. I will NEVER stay here again. I paid over $100 to be treated like a beggar who needed a place to stay. Not to mention the bathroom door doesn't close all the way in 306 either. I should get my money back. This hotel is creepy & run down. They have NO RIGHT to charge over $50 for a nights stay. I won't even use Hotels.com anymore after this experience. There's no point in getting a discount to be placed somewhere subpar & not worth the discounted funds you spent. The coffee maker was dirty. I wouldnt even make coffee when I looked in the tank. I AM DISGUSTED and I FEEL ROBBED.

My reservation did not reflect King bed and their pricing was different than mine via Expedia. Luckily I had a printed copy with me, I finally was given a king room and pricing matched. Man at check in was absolutely nice as can be. The general manager Keri, saw my comment smallest bathroom, she offered to move us to huge handicap shower with king, declined, but she brought me her personal tub chair when she heard if my medical condition, she’s the best, thank you.

We rented three rooms, two of them were good. Unfortunately,
my room was not. The key would not work, had to go down to desk and have clerk come and let us into room with master key everytime we needed to get in room. Took hotel about six hours to fix key issue. The bathroom door is very hard to open and close, scary for kids to get stuck in bathroom.
The elevator is scary, with its jerks and bumps.
The pool room is cold and pool temperature is cold, 90 degrees outside and little kids are in pool shivering and unable to play due to temperature. We asked the hotel clerk to adjust the temperature in pool room and she was unable to help.
We also had rooms next door at Country inn, If I rent rooms in Romeoville again it will definitely be at Country inn.

The bed was comfortable and the room looked clean and up to date but unfortunately our stay was ruined by how loud the people in the neighboring room were. Not only were the people being very loud but there was no soundproofing/ insulation in the walls. You could here everything going on in the hallway and neighboring rooms. If you stay here hopefully other guests are respectful and aren’t making noise until 3:30am and start it all over again and start making a ridiculous amount of noise at 6am too.

This place is run down, dirty, and probably infested. Spend an extra $30 and stay somewhere else. When I saw it was rated as a 3 star and had 4/5 on this app- I thought it would meet those expectations. I was wrong. We have been itching since we left. Will see a professional today to see what kind of bug/lice/creepy crawler we picked up!!!

The hotel parking lot had tight spaces, was nearly full, and in pretty rough shape with pot holes. Our rental (nissan sentra) barely fit in a space.
The staff at check in and check out were nice. We had no trouble checking in or out.
We found our room easily, and the WiFi connection worked well. But, the room phone did not work, and the TV remote was found on the floor behind the curtains. Needless to say we gave it a thorough wipe-down. The microwave was loud and ruined the grab n go breakfast sandwiches. But, the bathroom was clean and had lots of towels, and the beds were clean. We only had to sleep and check out, so we didn't use the fitness or pool areas.

Hotels.com failed me miserably!!!!
Booked 2 rooms via Hotels.com, and could not enter my name (although I was the only one paying)for the second room so I entered my stepdaughter's name.
Upon arrival I was informed that I had only booked a single room and they weren't sure that even that was available. Told them I needed 2 rooms, they assured me only one was booked, so I told the clerk to cancel the reservation. At 7 that evening (after finding alternate accommodations) I got a message that there were 2 rooms booked, that the 2nd was booked under my stepdaughter's name. Since I informed the clerk already that I was cancelling, I ignored it.
Once we got home I spent a total of 4 hours on hold with Hotels.com and was told that the property is refusing to refund my money since there were two rooms booked and I should have informed them that I wasn't taking the rooms so they could have rebooked them (!). I will NEVER utilize Hotels.com again, nor patronize this Comfort Inn due to their stonewalling and not even speaking to me afterwards.

To start-in the room I was assigned, the washroom vent fan on several occasions flooded water. I’m assuming it came from the room above me. Water fell on me while I was using the facilities twice. The plumbing was poor in terms of how the toilet flushed. House keeping did not inform me that they will not be cleaning room or gave me no notice of covid 19 room cleaning procedures. Hotel charges $50 dollars for accidental fees. I believe the should invest in plumbing. Completely not happy with stay!

Expected better for price
We had to go back and get our door keys re-programmed several times before they finally moved us to another room. But then the new room keys only worked once. Kind of run down and could use a makeover. Lots of sloppy repair work in the room itself.

The pictures are decieving. There are several abandoned cars outside tires all flat. Pretty sure this is the kind of place where people end up living. Got locked out of my room on the third day of my 5 day stay because the lock programing was messed up. Patched from holes in the wall. Not a great hotel.
