OMGosh…Very comfy bed !
+ front desk and dining area staff attentive-good to work with
+ Nice decor and layout in lobby
+ Room had a mini frig and microwave
+ centrally located next to a Cracker Barrel
— maid service staff not super helpful when I needed to get into my room-yet it might have been a language barrier thing

Spoiled milk and Very LOUD heater
We got in late and the heater was on when we entered the room and it was very loud. We turned it off but every hour the fan would come on for 30 seconds but was LOUD. We didn’t sleep well all night. The morning breakfast, my son got cereal and milk. He poured the milk in and it was spoiled and clumping. Totally disgusted and management didn’t even offer a discount or credit.

Worth finding it
My stay was fine, no problems at all..... except for finding the hotel. As far as I could see, the entry/parking lot is not directly off a main street; nor did I see a sign with the hotel name on a main street indicating where I should turn. However, it does have its sign on the top of the hotel building itself, which I saw after I turned into the area. It's the VERY FIRST right turn off of Diehl, going west, immediately after passing Route 59.

I received an email for early check in and it couldn't find my reservation. I called to see if I could check in early and was told most likely. When I arrived, my room was not ready and was told it would be about an hour. My room was not ready until about 2:45 which is right before check-in. The blow dryer in the room only blew cold air and had to ask for a different one. When I went to go back into my room, the key would not work so I had to go back down to the front desk. Turns out when I checked in. They only set my key up for a one night stay even though I had booked and paid for two nights. I checked out very early Saturday morning and wanted to talk to somebody at the front desk. No one was around and I needed to get going so I left. Someone else came down and was waiting as well.

This was our first stay at this property. It's very easy to find, just off 88; plenty of parking in a well lit, safe area. There is a Cracker Barrel next door which came in handy. The hotel is just off 59 where there are plenty of shopping (Target, Meijer), dining options (both quick service and dine-in) and gas stations. It's a quick drive to downtown Naperville, the NW suburbs and downtown. A light traffic day had us downtown in less than 30 minutes.
Breakfast is great; there are many options to chose from: eggs, sausage, waffles, bagels, cereal etc. The evening front desk check-in clerk was beyond amazing! She was friendly, helpful and made our initial impression that much better. She is a huge reason I will stay here every time we're in town!

Staff was very welcoming & accommodating. Supposed to be at a Fairfield we couldn’t find & ended up the Courtyard. The receptionist took good care of us.
Hotel is older, but well maintained, lobby newly appointed as are the rooms.
3 small issues:elevator was at the other end of the building; the bedding came undone very easy; dumpsters get emptied in the middle of the night.
Coffee in the room was actually very good.

I would rebook
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything smelled fresh and was clean. Unfortunately, the pool and hot tub were out of order and if you are sensitive to noises, road noise was prominent.

Comfortable stay
Very clean and well maintained hotel. Front desk person was helpful and friendly. Hotel is right next to the interstate so we did hear the constant hum of the traffic. Otherwise our stay was relatively quiet and comfortable. Cracker Barrel is walkable right next door. All other dining options are drivable 10-15 mins on Rt 59. Top golf is on the other side of the interstate from the hotel.

Choose this place to stay
This place has decent cars in the parking lot, is modern, clean, and in good repair. Breakfast is fantastic... real eggs and sausage. So right there what you pay extra for staying at the Fairfield is offset by what you would pay for a breakfast for two elsewhere. Bathroom and shower are perfect. Mitchell and Torie were efficient and pleasant. This place is strikingly better for not much more.

Poor front desk person.
Failed to perform customer service.
Very noisy room, front desk refused to move me.

The gym wasn’t open. Had to walk across the street to their partner hotel each day. And then our room key didn’t let us in so we had to wait (sometimes for 5 minutes) for the front desk to let us in.
Wallpaper down the hallway was peeling back everywhere due to water damage. Very unsightly.
Carpet in elevator was peeled back.

The front desk staff was pleasant and efficient. The bottle of water at check-in was a nice touch after a long day in the car. Room was great, quiet and clean. The pool and work-out room were not available due to renovations and the renovations extended to the hallways as some of the wallpaper was off or partially off which gave a run-down look.

Fairfield Marriott is a nicely priced hotel that offers good value for the money. Free wifi and breakfast is a bonus. Unlike their bigger Marriott siblings that cost twice per night but do not include wifi unless you are a Bonvoy member and charge for breakfast!

We stayed for a weekend I have only two things that I wasn't happy about. The 1st thing was a stitch in the room that was uncomfortable. The pool wasnt open and it didn't mention that on your website.Other then that the room was a nice size and the bed was very comfortable. We will stay again but will address those issues during the saty if needed.

Nothing is unique about this property. It is very close to the I-88 and passing cars noise is inside the room. Furthermore, the hotel has water incident and the noise from the drying equipment was overwhelming.

Were advised at check-in that there would be no housekeeping during our three-night visit. No one would clean our room, make the bed, or do anything else in the room. If we needed fresh towels, we could get them at the front desk. Will not return to this hotel.

The hotel was ok, kind of in a truck stop area. Never been there before; was impossible and frustrating to find location. Address on site says 1847 W Diehl Road, guess what, no hotels on Diehl road & no W Diehl Road. Wasted over an hour going back and forth on Diehl Road. Finally called as we were giving up and turns out, it's not on Diehl Road. You have to turn on Diehl Road by a building, completely dark, and if you keep following this sort of service road way to the back you do see a hotel sign with lots of trucks parked there. Who would know??
You need to correct your address, directions to hotel (which came right off your website), put up some signs or something. Would not attempt to locate again especially in the dark (after 6pm!). Also, don't know if room was facing some other road (dark out) but really noisy with trucks going by all night.

No Housekeeping?
It has potential but it seems like things are getting run down. I stayed there before pre-pandemic and it wasn’t like this. The side doors don’t open with your key card so you have to carry luggage, etc through the lobby as it’s the only door that works. And yes, the pool is still closed. That really didn’t bother me but it speaks for the general condition of the building. The staff was fine but seemed a little stressed/overworked.
The room initially appears to be nice. But, it seemed like housekeeping staff has been severely cut. No one changed the sheets before I arrived. There was a long hair in the bed that wasn’t mine. The bed is also hard as a rock. I paid for 2 nights but only stayed for one because of the hair in the bed. The fan is also fairly loud.

Bad Customer service
When we came to the room, it had the smell of the Ozone machine, I asked to be moved because of the smell and she did.
Pool wasn’t working, but we were able to use the one from Town Place Suite. The guy who was at the front desk, wasn’t friendly at all, he was chatting with a co worker so it looks like if we interrupt them on the good conversation.
Customer service is first impression, rule 5/15 didn’t apply for any of both Hotels, I wouldn’t stay there again.

Interior and exterior of property kept clean. We had a suite, so it afforded us a larger space for a six-night stay. Buffet is average - waffles, precooked eggs and hot and cold cereals. Our reason for picking this hotel was proximity to family, and I would stay again.

The hotel was very nice except for a few maintenance details: the heating unit was blowing very fast and hard. The bathtub was clogging and the toilet seat was loose. Also, the bathroom light is blinding when you walk in in the middle of the night. There was a weird “click” sound coming from the mini fridge too. The breakfast was ok, no big variety.
