Very good staff. Polite and accommodating. WE enjoyed the wine and snacks on Wednesday night.
The room was clean except for the floor which we had to ask to be cleaned.
The room did not come with a microwave-just a toaster oven. A microwave is preferred, safer and cost effective. It should be included in ALL rooms.

Easy access to the convenient stores. Staff are great, they are easy to approach. Cleanliness is the problem. I checked in with my two kids, 1 four years old and a 2 years old boy. The bed are kind of high so for safety and to avoid them from falling down while sleeping i decided to let them sleep on the floor. I put a sleeping mat in between of those two beds and let my other half to sleep with the kids on the floor. I was bothered the whole night because my wife keep sneezing everynow and then and she smell something coming from the bottom of the beds. When i checked it out, to my surprised it was full of “DUST” it was very dirty so i have to clean it so they can get a good sleep. The edges of the bed the one hold the mattress, those are the dirty parts, really “DUSTY”. Regardless of that, its all good.

Property was fantastic, it was very clean and the staff were very friendly. Pool was clean and they provided beach towels and Beach chair for free.
Yanni in Coerciege Tours and activities was very helpful in guiding us to experience the Hawaiian culture efficiently.
I will definitely stay again in this property in future. I recommend this to my friends and family

We stayed a total of five days at the hotel and during our stay nobody serviced our room even once, not even trash pickup and exchange of towels!!!! I found that is totally unacceptable!

Great Hotel
I really loved the hotel location. Close to everything we wanted to be close too. Beach and super nice restaurants. The lobby was fantastic and the staff have to be the most loveliest people in the world. And as world travellers this was huge! Now some of the hotel policies are weird. If you are staying 5 days you can have ur room cleaned once and if you want it more you have to pay for it. This is weird cause that should be built into your daily rate otherwise what are you paying for? The pillows, bed, and bedding were very dated so not hugely comfortable.
But once again, the staff at the front desk and concierge desk were top notch and the rest of the hotel is beautiful.

Hawaii in November
Nice hotel and staff. The gym is very modern and spacious. The tv hook up is a little dated but having the kitchenette served useful. The parking situation is valet only but the valets were awesome.

Convenient location to Waikiki Beach and International Market Place for shopping/dining. The staff was friendly. The gym had a decent selection of equipment. The room (2 queen beds) had useful mini fridge, glassware, plates, utensils, countertop oven. The AC worked very well, lots of TV channels. The shower pressure was nice and beds were comfortable enough. One small criticism is room lighting could be better (lamp lightbulbs were dim) as well as limited access to outlets for phone charging next to bed.

When I stay in Waikiki, I prefer to be on the edge vs. in the center so I can get in and out of Waikiki more easily. Luana is a simple, but pleasant stay. No frills, but had a kitchenette, price is right. Had a great ocean view and view of Waikiki.

Love the balcony overlooking Waikiki
Amazing Stay! On weekend they have food trucks and DJ playing top music. Pretty cool vibe. You can walk to the beach and Dtown Waikiki. We also rented some ebikes to go to foodland and have a small picnic by the park.

The location is great! The hotel is very nice and the service is excellent. If you're there for the weekend, try to book a room overlooking the ocean. They have fireworks every Friday at 8:00.
There is a $40.00 fee for parking and a $40.00 fee for amenities. Maybe it was in the fine print but I must have missed that.

Very crowded like any city which I wasn't crazy about.
Accomodations were fine.
People very nice.
DID NOT LIKE SURPRISE resort fee per person and high parking fee per night. For me, this budget friendly, family location surprised me with a big check-out bill I wasn't expecting. Expedia and hotel should disclose. Really bad form not to inform the traveler upfront. Pretty sure I'm not going to use Expedia again; not saving any money with their much promoted "bundle and save".

This was our fourth time at the Luana. Very nice, love the room with a partial ocean view (RM 1411) very clean and tidy. One negative is that there is not a lot of room for luggage, and if you had more than 2 big bags there is nowhere to put them. Furniture could do with an update but love having the kitchen facilities.
The staff at check in and check out were great thank you.

Staff so cordial & nice! Only incident was with the safe- hotel needs to update the tool to fix code service! Outdated & frozen while the staff was there to help. I didn’t use much- not a pool person, but great.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Friendly staff throughout the day. We enjoyed the location of the hotel - close enough walk to Waikiki and/or to Ala Moana Mall or catch public transportation. Unfortunately, we can't give it 5 stars because our room floor (2nd) had a strong smell of chlorine, and we couldn't open our balcony door as we smelled gas from the gas station next to the property.

Great location within walking distance to nice park and beach. Clean hotel with excellent service. Staff made me feel welcome with little gifts. Valet parking was fast. Not the most modern hotel, but it's worth the price because of location and full kitchen and separate living room with balcony. I enjoyed my stay there.

I booked this vacation for my wife and mother in law. When I first booked, they had one queen bed and one double. The hotel reached out to say 'thanks for booking' and asked if there was anything they could do. I asked for two queen beds and that was granted without hesitation.
The staff throughout the hotel was friendly, helpful and very accommodating.
The hotel offered many different social activities such as: wine and cheese with entertainment and lei making.
The kitchen amenities in the room were high quality. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom were well equipped.
It was a short accessible walk to dining, shopping and the beach.
My wife and mother-in-law loved the parks around the hotel for walks - they were beautiful!
They had a great time and now my wife wants to take me back there to experience this island and hotel.

Great location with good walking options for shopping and food. Super friendly and helpful staff. Only downside is furniture and bathroom needs updating. A bit dingy and no ventilation in bath meant super humid, where closet also humid. Ac also a bit noisy.

What hit us first as we walked into the main lobby of the property was how fresh & clean it smelled. We were greeted very nicely by the front desk clerk where check-in was a breeze. Our room was clean and nicely set up for a standard room. The queen beds were very comfortable and the 4 pillows on each bed were GREAT ... fluffy yet firm. Check-out the next morning was just as easy as when we checked in. Thank you to the

Much Aloha at this resort. Lovely welcome lei by a really sweet check in girl, lei making, super-fun wine and cheese and authentic song and hula. Especially loved the musician Keoni and Ruel at the front is a real asset as is Rama who is a super kind and great house person. On check out we were also given a tasty Hawaiian cookie. One if my best stays ever. Dont hesitate in booking the Luana and my favourite part is the pool and great gym. Nothing lacked! Also very nice to receive a crunchy apple on my way out in the a m. As soon as you walk in as a guest you get greeted and makes you feel welcomed. The hotel is clean, smells great, almost no complains. The only thing i didnt like was the noisy AC system, other than that its amazing. Great service

Very nice stay at this property. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Very clean and nice. Loved the wine and cheese receptions.
Just be aware, it is 40.00 a day for parking (which is valet and the guys are great) and there is a 35.00 per day charge for incidentials. Adds up quick. Otherwise loved our stay.

This is a great location for visiting Waikiki, and a much more reasonable price than the hotels located right on the beach. Great dining options are just a few minutes walk away. And for further afield, bus transportation is available. This is our second stay here.

We liked all the partial ocean view rooms us and our married kids had, 3 in total all basically beside each other, very well equipped kitchens and nice balcony views, the beds could use updated mattresses but we did get good enough sleeps, the road noise was more the issue of not sleeping if you had patio door open, but quiet when closed, the pool was nice but a bit cold when we first got there but got better as week went on. Enjoyed having a crisp apple every morning before starting our days, all staff were very friendly during our whole stay, the area is very nice, it took us about 10 minutes to get to the nice beach by the hotel, much less crowded than Waikiki beach, also the beach towels and sand chairs were a nice touch from the hotel. The BBQ area was great by the pool used it a lot, our son loved BBQing. We would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a great family getaway, we traveled with our 2 married kids was a great time especially for the 3 who have never been to Hawaii before

This is a great place to stay if you want a full kitchen or if you need to have a car. The staff is helpful and friendly. Nice amenities like beach towels and umbrellas. If you are driving and ok with paying $40 a night for valet parking, it's much more convenient than other hotels closer to the heart of Waikiki where it's hard to get in and out quickly. The views are great from the higher floors. Don't miss the free wine and beer hour with live music and hula dancer on Wednesdays and Fridays.
