Loved our stay overall!! Very spacious suite (though I wish I had had the option to choose ocean view online) with everything we needed.
Parking is a breeze and is cheap (same cost whether you self-park or use valet!).
The restaurant was great and the tiki bar was nice. Pool could be bigger but was nice and the bartenders ran around taking orders so that was convenient. My only complaint about the pool is that there isn't much shade, if you want it. They don't allow personal chair umbrellas so you're just stuck in the sun all day if you don't get the right spot.
The beach access was great and you could bring your own stuff or rent. A beach walk is not for someone with trouble walking there because its a slant! I'm very pregnant and it was difficult and exhausting.
The spa offers lots of services and I took advantage of a prenatal massage but was disappointed that they didn't have the appropriate pillow with holes so that I could lie face down (what you really look forward too besides the actual massage!). I don't think they should offer this service until they get one.
The location was excellent! Close to stores, restaurants, a park with grills so we walked often! So convenient!

We stayed for 10 nights. We're 60 and pretty much the youngest guests. There's nothing wrong with that, if that's what you're looking for. The building itself has little to offer in the way of views of any water. The sliding doors in the rooms take two people to open. There's nowhere near enough lighting in the bathroom. The living area of the room has nothing comfortable to sit on if you want to put your feet up at the end of the day. Take out the uncomfortable couch and coffee table and put in a small sectional with recliners at each end. The beach area is owned by someone else so unless you pay $30 to sit in the beach chairs, you need to buy your own and take them with you where you will then be escorted either north or south of the beach property at the building. Excellent housekeeping staff. Hotel staff is very nice. Restaurant and tiki bar are filthy as is the glass doors and windows in the restaurant. The glassware hanging above you in the bar area literally have chocolate and residue on them. A $10 shower caddy to hang on the showerhead would have been really nice so there's at least some place to put soap/shampoo.

We had a fantastic time. I don’t think I could have picked a better place to stay in this area. Downtown West Palm was minutes away for nightlife and dining. And there were numerous bar and grills with entertainment and dining right next to the hotel. Relaxing beach, access was very convenient, the food at the hotel was very good. Housekeeping was great. The entertainment on site was great, as well as within walking distance. Overall, very relaxing when we wanted to chill, as well as exciting when we wanted to go out. Will definitely come back to Singer Island. If your coming here, 4 things……rent the chairs and umbrella it’s worth it, rent a car so you can explore A1A, Juno beach, Jupiter, and downtown WPB, have dinner at Bimini Twist and have drinks outside at night at Bradley’s. I read a lot of the . reviews before I booked here and numerous ones mentioned it needing to be updated. Don’t let that sway you, the place is nice. The rooms were super clean and overall the whole property is upkept very nicely. Always someone at the front doors to open them for you and always a nice greeting by all staff members. It’s not a young crowd. If your looking for 20-30 yr olds, they’re not here. We seen maybe 3 families with young (but very very well behaved) children. The rest of the crowd was 40’s, mostly 50’s and of coarse, it’s Florida, some retirees that own units here. If your like us (mid 50’s) and want the relaxing vaca, but also want to go live it up. They both are here.

This place was very clean! The staff was so helpful and friendly. They have live entertainment every night and conveniently close to restaurants and grocery store. We were pleasantly surprised at how great it was. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice, but......
The Hotel was nice, however the AC unit in the room was very loud and old. we had trouble sleeping at night, even watching TV, it was so loud, we turned off to watch movies or shows.
service at the restaurant and pool was very slow and the waiters were bad.
the spa was excellent, both in terms of staff and masseurs.
the pool staff were excellent.

We loved our stay at this hotel. All suites, perfect location on the beach, U shape of building blocks strong winds while at the pool. It definately needs cosmetic updating but I wouldn't hesitate to go back. The management and staff were superb.

Great location but overpriced
This is a great location with lots of restaurants, bars and leisure facilities around but charging top hotel prices for a timeshare experience. The room was comfortable albeit quite standard and old fashioned in style, but at nearly $400 per night with no cleaning or toiletries, overlooking a car park and early check out at 10am this was very overpriced.

Staff very Friendly, very good location. Lack of transparency on the reservation as the pictures of the room selected had ocean view, and did not mention anything about the views in the details. We were not allowed to use our own umbrella on the beach. There was no information on the reservation about the $35 daily fee to rent their umbrella and lounge and that we could not use ours.

Great hotel for the price! Perfect for families. The beach staff guys were awesome! We never had an issue getting chairs and a umbrella. Only one recommendation is for check in to review amenities at check in. There was no explanation on how beach rentals worked, or towels, we just winged it. The previous hotel we stayed at verbally confirmed what they offered and provided a reference list. The stay was still great and beach front property was amazing!

I loved every hotel employee we interacted with. All very friendly and helpful. Although the rooms are dated they are very clean and spacious. The amenities such as the pool close access to beach restaurant tiki bar spa were all great to have insight. And you are just a short walk to shops and other restaurants.

The property was very functional and had a great location. The facilities were very dated which was a huge let down. Also the pool manager was a total grump and does not belong in the service industry. I would give him a negative 10. He belongs in the basement or some dark area of the hotel. Why be rude to customers. Very weird. The other staff on the other hand were very polite and attentive to all of the customers needs. The food was ok and drinks were great especially the drink of the day. You pay $10 a day for parking which is not terrible but and added expensive especially for the price of the rooms which are very sub par but like I said are very close to the beach.

At the pool area they had a cabana where you got your towels. The person in charge was a real jerk. We got our towels and wanted to get breakfast at the pool and he said if we were not back in 30 minutes we would loose our chairs and towels. A young boy and a father in the pool when no one else was in the pool were told rudely to loose the ball. Very rude and picky person. No need for the rudeness that continued with this person every day. People were upset with him.

This resort is very nice! Rooms are clean and spacious. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The pool area is amazing! I absolutely love that they have a lady walking around the pool area passing out cold towels! The waitress that walks around the pool area is amazing! She is fun and full of energy, and more than willing to bring you drinks or food at any time. Workers help unload your car, open doors for you each time you go in and out and there is valet parking available if you wish. Check in and check out was quick and easy. The beach is amazing! Clear blue water, pretty calm and not overly crowded. Within walking distance, about a block or so, there is a small strip of restaurants and shops. The area offers so much! We found several deals on Groupon for the zoo, rapids water park, mini golf, bowling, an escape room, and a few restaurants! The gardens mall and the outlet mall is about 20 min away. The sight seeing is amazing also!! We didn’t have any problem with heavy traffic. Perfect vaca!

The staff was amazing, service amazing. Loved that they brought new towels EVERY DAY. Other places we have stayed do not. Honestly, every person we dealt with, inside, poolside, beach, were friendly and attentive. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and 7-11, so you don’t have to drive anywhere if you don’t want to. Farmers market outside at the park next door one or two days a week. Loved it

Great resort but disregard the front desk attitude
The front desk attendee was rude and condescending regarding "we did not pay enough for a room to have an ocean view".
The rest of the resort was wonderful!
Lisa the pool tiki bar bartender was great and so was Wolfie at the Islander restaurant.
We would highly recommend this resort. just ignore the front desk if you are not interested in a time share they are very rude.

This hotel was unique from in and out. Just beautiful. The bar and grill was so good! Nice pool area and quick boardwalk to the private beach. All the staff was sweet and polite.

We extended our stay by a couple of nights and they failed to let us know that the room was booked so after already being there 2 nights, on the 3rd morning we rec'd a phone call reminding us that we were supposed to check out at 10 and it was almost 11 (remember we extended our stay, plus I talked to an agent the night before at the front desk who even fixed the room keys so they would work for the remainder of our stay. After informing them of that I got a call a few min olater saying that the room was booked and we needed to switch rooms. It is now 11 and I have a massage scheduled at their spa for 1130 but I had to go back upstairs after going to the desk, pack up all of our things, food in the fridge and clothes and toiletries and move to another room. Thank god it was on the same floor but it was a very big inconvenience

Weekend staycation in paradise
Our stay was amazing with just a cpl hiccups, the movie we ordered wouldnt play and then for some time during the day the hotel was evacuated for a fire alarm. It still did not take away from the fact that the hotel was great, the bar and bartenders are awesome. The massage therapist was great, food wonderful, and the location is perfect.

Did not like the lady (Tifany) that checked us in. Not welcoming at all. Kind of RUDE.
The valet parking guys were great and always ready to help in any way ( directions, helping with groceries, etc...) They have a great sense of humor.

Apparently everybody owns a timeshare at this facility! So when you check in they trick you into thinking that they're providing you with a free breakfast or lunch as a perk of the hotel but then they ask you for a $20 deposit and to do a room tour for a timeshare! In a way that makes it sound like it will be real quick and they'll give you $150 gift card. I was confused at first in the tricky way they did that to us. It felt like something I had to do and then when I tried to get my money back they talked me into staying for the hundred fifty dollars. you go to a really uncomfortable lunch talking to a timeshare sales rep about how often you vacation what do you like to do which I had no interest in doing and then because they paid for our lunch they refuse to let us take our leftovers back in boxes! Why were they going to give it to somebody else?! At that point I was so mad at being tricked into this and then them not letting us keep our leftovers with our family of 5 on our two and a half day stay taking up our time I refuse to do the tour and did not get the $150 gift card! On top of that I question whether our bed sheets were even washed due to the fuzz hair and crumbs I found inside the bed woke up with a bug crawling on me! Not sure what kind because I brushed it off so quickly in the dark. And the beds were very uncomfortable! The ground looked un vacuumed. My husband got a drink from the bar which had sand in it! The town driving to the resort seemed pretty run down

Avoid this place if possible. If you have big issues, you will hear variations of "No", "Don't", "Won't", or "Can't" which is very frustrating..
I had reserved a king bed. I show up and it's two double beds. I call front desk and told "No, we can't give you a king." I ask for a manager and I'm put on hold. I had to take care of my toddler son in the bathroom (I'm a single dad) so I asked the bellman to hold the line. As I'm coming back into the room I hear the bellman say "Ok, he's coming right now." I get the phone and they hang up on me.
I get to the front desk and the manager tells me a room with a king just opened up. Great! I go to the room and it's a sauna. The AC thermostat was saying 72 but it was way off. The fridge also didn't work. The next day, I complained to the General Manager and got a new room. That room had a busted sink plug. I called it in and they "repaired" it but really didn't. There was a working sink next to it and they still messed up and didn't check their work!
I went to check out on the last day and asked for a bell trolley. I was told "No, that's not our policy." Everyone up to the General Manager herself said "No." No reason, no explanation. When the bellman came, I told him I couldn't wait to get the heck out. He told me "I hear that all the time."
I'd say more but I'm limited to 1500 characters. There are big issues with the attitude of this resort. I think it's because it's a timeshare resort and they don't care.

Our room was horrible! Dirty sliding doors didn't lock or open properly. One of the doors was falling out of the frame.. Toilet was not connected to the floor, the pool area was nice and beach was awesome..

Great family getaway
We all had a wonderful time. The only slightly negative thing I could say is that the resort itself and the rooms are smaller than I imagined. The photos online make it seem much more grand than it really is. Every member of staff we encountered were very courteous and helpful. We would definitely come back.

Most of the staff was great, some of the food staff should know there food and ingredients of the plates served. Pool waitress was great! The beach was awesome and they even serve out to the beach! Food is excellent. We had the homemade pizza, hamburgers, surf and turf-even breakfast was delicious.
Check out the exotic birds in cages around the restaurant and pool areas.
We also had a very nice massage.
The beach is right behind the resort and there is a short walk you can take to the end of the island and watch large waves roll in.

Not the best trip ! Some of people nice but most incompetent. Too many issues, from check in, cribs ending up in room 3 days in a row, toilet that leaked and eventually clogged, getting wrong info when we asked for help, no maid service. Would never go back.

Still a pleasant place. And beach is great.
We had happy visits here maybe 25 years ago when it was the new Embassy Suites. Today it is a bit dated and tired but still a good place to stay. Particularly if you can get a north, south or ocean facing suite. Food, drink and music across the way at Johnny Longboat is a big plus. Walkability to local shops & marina is very good; unlike for most condos on Singer Island which are further away.
The sugary holly jolly music unfortunately adds to the time warp effect. And be aware of the "time share hustle" from the so called "public relations desk". The front desk staff were really great, however.
