A lovely time in Chandler, AZ
Our stay at the Chandler Holiday Inn was wonderful. After a stressful time of travel, this facility gave us a much-needed sense of calm and relaxation. The facility, inside and out, was pristine. Especially appreciated were the staff of the restaurant who were pleasant, helpful and friendly.

The washer and dryer was out of order. As someone who travels for work, this is very inconvenient. This is a common issue at many Holiday Inn’s. It’s like the ice cream machine at McDonald’s. This past month I’ve spent way too much time at sketchy laundromats across the country.

Almost perfect hobtel
Beautiful property. No USB ports in rooms. Only liquid soap, containers mounted too high for comfort. Otherwise extremely comfortable.

Expedia shows the breakfast price to be $13.99. The hotel charged $15,99. Expedia shows the parking fee is $5/day, the hotel charged $10/day.

I attempted to move from this location to the other location in the same city. Both locations had plenty of rooms.. Told by the managment that they have a strict policy about changes on the day of arrival. So if I wanted to move locations 10 miles down the road I would be paying both locations.

Overall we enjoyed our stay with the exception that the room smelled a like bit like dog poop. We used a deodorant so it was fine after that for the most part. It was an easy fix. I don’t know if the guest prior had a dog or what but that the only way I could explain the smell… We were honestly too tired to say anything about it or asked to change rooms.
Overall the stay was great. Not a fan of the bed comfort level but that’s just me and what I’m used to.

Great atmosphere and silent auction!
Have stayed several times and always had a great experience. Great location, pool and bar/restaurant. I really like the silent memorabilia auction, even won a Jim McMahon helmet once. I would recommend that the hotel upgrade the rooms to be equipped with USB ports, otherwise a great stay as usual.

Called front desk at 2:00 in the morning when we returned home to notify them that the air conditioning unit that we had on all day set to 65 was not functioning properly air conditioning unit would not go below 75 so we had a warm room difficult to sleep, notify the front desk of the condition and ask them to please move it to another room lady instructed us that maintenance was not available and they wouldn’t be in till the morning and that she had no ability to transfer it to another room. When I notified the staff the following morning ring check out she said she would forward my message along to management never heard back so I called and she said I had to speak to the manager tomorrow morning. I’ve spent seven nights here in the last 8 weeks and this hasn’t happened before. Surprised they were willing to work with us gets to a room or we could sleep better.

Great job Nate!
Nate was on duty when I checked in and he did a fantastic job. Without asking he put me in a quiet corner of the hotel and was then very helpful with locating the ironing board. Breakfast was very good as well.

Very nice...some minor issues.
Honestly, great looking hotel...pool..lobby...bar..restaurant and location.
Can't complain about too much...bar was well stocked...they had a fireplace outside...rooms with balconies.
Jacuzzi and heated pool...some lights in the pool were out...no biggie.
Only one elevator...
Great service..very friendly and welcoming.
2 issues thought...
*For being as expensive as it was...the beds could have been more comfortable or newer...
**when we got to the room...it wasnt as clean as it would have been expected...there was crumbs around the mini fridge and some trash was left behind...grocery bag ...a plastic fork...and some wrappers.
Overall...I'd recommend it.

Lovely stay!
Needed a hotel for a quick overnight because of the timing of my flights & family lives nearby. Wonderfully clean lobby with a cute treat receptacle for dogs! Lovely staff. Room a little more dated than other hotels I've stayed in recently, but very clean and large! Also, a personal fan of the bath products they've decided to stock in room.

One of our favorites! Such nice staff and great service from everyone there. Always clean, fresh, and inviting.

The hotel asked to run my card for $50 for a pre -authorization (room had been paid for with my credit card- prior to arriving) and the hotel charged my card for 3 nights and called me a liar stating I had stayed several nights but oddly enough I was on a plane the “second night” they were accusing me of lying about. Management (Trish) was extremely unhelpful and it took 4 days of me calling excessively to get the refunds on my account that were never authorized in the first place.

Never using Hotels.com again
Everything was fine except I had to shorten my stay as my trip ended a day sooner. Between hotels.com and holiday inn I was given the run around by both. I booked my stay for 5 days and needed to shorten it by a day. Both entities referred me to the other. Neither provided me a receipt upon multiple requests for an email and/or hard copy.

Second time staying here, visiting family. First time was great. This time, it so much. The manager came up to our room pounding on the door 3 different times and sticks her head in our room asking are you smoking in here? You can’t smoke in here! Nobody was smoking in the room. She says, well someone is complaining about smelling smoke coming from around here. And then threatened to charge my credit card for a cleaning fee. And then another guy from the front desk said “I don’t want to have to charge your card for cleaning”. I again assured him that nobody in our room was smoking. He rolled his eyes and was dismissive. I said you want to charge me for a smoke odor in my room that was there when we checked in? Our room was dirty and dusty, there were dirty socks left in the closet, and some chocolate on one of the chairs(relieved it was chocolate). There was sewer odors coming from somewhere on the second floor that stunk up the hallway almost every day. Overall not a great visit to this hotel this time. Which was disappointing to say the least. We were looking forward to staying here again, as we enjoyed the hotel on our previous visit to Chandler. I think I will be looking for a different place for our next visit.

Excellent customer service from greeting my arrival, checkin and checkout.
Good food and service at the restaurant. Hot coffee and water in the lobby is always a good thing to have.
My room had a corroded bath fixture that made it difficult to get the shower started. I forgot to mention this at check out. It should be replaced.

Hotel is terrific. Convenient location in 'southern' Chandler / Sun Lakes area. Very clean, courteous pleasant staff, nice amenities, nice little restaurant & bar. Great breakfast - whether buffet or menu. I would highly recommend

Was disappointed to learn when walking in that the restaurant was closed due to COVID. That would be fine and I understand but then why was I offered on this site the option of buying breakfast which I did only to learn its not a real breakfast but a grab and go sort of thing??
