Room was spacious, Tub and shower, TV, twin queen beds, but the mattress was too soft, TV was good, Swimming pool was large, breakfast was good with many choices of things to eat. Check in an check out was friendly quick,

Booked the room for 2 3 adults and 2 children expecting beds for all of us They didn't even have it ready for us and the excuse they used for everything was if you didn't book it thru us too bad If you used a 3rd party we can't do anything to help you.

Breakfast was below average. No plates, only paper popcorn bowls, which makes it very hard to eat a waffle! Sausage was awful. Nothing sweet and very little fruit (only apples). Room had a terrible musty/moldy smell.

I liked the Tai restaurant nearby. I liked the complementary shuttle to the Port. The rooms were ghastly. They were not dirty, but this is a motel. You enter the rooms from an outside door. I was on the ground floor across from an ice machine and soda dispensary. Very hard to sleep through the noise with people using them. The sink is in the room, so if you are sharing a room, and get up to wash your hands, then you wake up the other person. It was extremely loud with multiple people staying in one room.

Exceptional Stay Before Our Cruise
We stayed there before our cruise day, and they allowed early check-in around 10 am. The front desk staff was very nice. The hotel is clean and nice, and the breakfast was excellent

The room was not cleaned well. There was hair in the tub and on the toilet. They don’t have elevators. All rooms are outside. If you have heavy luggage, be prepared to go up steps if you have a 2nd floor room. Breakfast was horrible. ATM machine out of service and there isn’t another in walking distance. The room was not worth the amount I paid. The price should not be more than $59 per night.

The trip was initially spoilt by hotels .com
Your booking options included a £6 upgrade to have a poolside room which I took
On arrival the hotel informed me despite me paying the upgrade the website hadn’t informed the hotel
Very bad by hotels.com I expect a rewards upgrade for this appalling error
Overall hotel been upgraded since our last visit which was food
The rooms are adequate for an overnight stay and over the road is cocoa beach
We used the onsite rooftop bar which was fantastic
Young dark haired girl bartender there absolutely brilliant
Food good beer good
Bed in room was a challenge and resulted in us having little sleep
The mattress went into a deep hole
I did complain and the reception girl said they’d knock $20 off bill
I haven’t seen this yet so will update later
Free breakfast is just toast cereals waffles nothing brilliant
Overall really please and hopefully la Quinta refund me the $20

This motel is dated and old. The bathroom was incredibly small. The hotel did not provide hand soap. The hangers and luggage rack was rusted. The beds were extremely uncomfortable.
The sports bar was small and was self serve as only girl was working - we needed to go to the bar to place our drink and food order. The girl working was very friendly and efficient.
We did call to ask for more towels and staff were prompt in bringing them and were very friendly.
Overall, staff were great but the place is rundown. I would not stay here again.

We stayed here 3 days prior to us leaving on a cruise a total of 11 of us. I am pretty sure they were tired of seeing our faces with all of our small requests but the just greeted us with a smile. The staff was amazing the breakfast also was great. I wish I had gotten the names of the 2 young ladies working the check-in/ check out. Great young ladies

It was good for the price. It is not a hotel but a motel. The rooms are clean but small. Hate when the sink area is not part of the closed in bathroom. The mattresses were very good. The breakfast is very plain, and they ran out of coffee in the middle of service. The lady at the counter was not local and didn't have any idea about the area when asked a question. However all the staff we encountered were very nice. There was a beach access across the street.

Very dissapointed in this motel. The lobby and rooms smelt musty and the room wasn’t clean. There were crumbs on the floor, a straw in the crack between the flooring, there was random debris under the beds and bathroom was dirty. The entire room was dated and the “upgrade” was paint thrown on stucco walls with wasn’t even done right. The one positive was that the beds were clean and comfortable, and sheets were clean.

NASTY- They do not clean rooms
The room was not clean. The bathtub was slimy. Ants were everywhere. I had to go to the local dollar general to buy cleaning supplies to clean the whole room before we could stay in it.

It is an older property but worked for me. Does have a fabulous Thai restaurant right next to it and you can walkto beach and very reasonably priced to stay before getting on cruise ship..Very nice staff..

This is a terrible place to stay. We were booked to stay there two nights and were woken in the middle of the first night from roaches running around the room killed one and took to office and canceled second night stay. requested refund from office was told that i had to go through Expedia and they were no help . buyers beware

Our room was clean but its hard to make a room look pretty and shiny when the tub and sink have cracks in them. The tub/shower drained very slowly so you were always standing in water. Yuck! The bathroom was very small and hard to move around in. There was only one hook to hang your bath.towel with two people staying there. One of the lights over the vanity was out. The hair blower had so much lunt on the filter i was afraid it would catch fire. The location is very centralized between Cocoa Beach and Canaveral- nice! It appeared they were painting the outside of the building so it looked very nice. We didnt use the pool but it looked pretty.

This room was disgusting. I had to throw away my socks because they were filthy. There was hair in the tub. Neither of us would even step in the shower/tub. When my husband threw his blanket back, there was a very obvious pee stain on the quilt. It made us both ill.

Follow your first mind.
Clerk didn’t look up at us for 60 secs upon entering. She thought it more important to count quarters. She finally put up the one minute sign. Got to our room, while clean and updated, one of the beds squeaked terribly. It was unable to be slept on. The cous de gras…the sink was stopped up and remained stopped up all night because we checked in late. When my husband called the desk, the clerk knew immediately why he was calling and said was sending maintenance. We were checking out. He spoke with the manager and He was able to secure a 50% discount. Bottom line, you get what you pay for. La Quinta is not a bad brand. But this was an old, acquired motel. We will stick with Hilton or Marriott going forward.

Cockroads infestation.
the hotel is very nicely located. the parking lot very ample and well lighted. When I opened a draw in the room a cockroad came out-we screams of course, I kill the insect and gave the hotel the benefit of the doubt -maybe it was a isolated incident - but NO !!! the next day we found many cockrads running around - luckily for us we were leaving.
I would not stay in this place again. I reported the incident to the front desk attendant and she was not surprise or did not believe me. Oh well- good by La Quinta. Adios... no more more of my business to you.

Don’t stay if you like peace and quiet for
When you book a king room and get 2 doubles and the freaking bed’s squeak. It’s a parking lot for the bars/drunks. The drunks can pee on the grass but my 5 pound puppy can’t, the extra 25 a night for a puppy was stupid it’s a linoleum floor. Won’t stay again x

I’m not really satisfied with our stay. To start, our room had a funky smell to it. Then the bedsheets were damp and sticking to my legs. Next the air conditioning unit was so loud and sounded like someone was coming into our room each time it turned on and off which kept me up most of the night. Then the shower and shower head were not very clean. Finally, we chose to stay here because of the shuttle service to Port Canaveral, but they failed to tell us the shuttle service ends at 10:30 and check out is at 11:00. We had to rent a $20 Lyft to take us. Overall, not a pleasant experience.

When I arrived at the hotel, the bathroom was dirty, the sink wasn't dry, there was a lot of dust in the area, the door to put the entry card in was very stuck, I couldn't open the door easily

this motel was disgusting!
it smelled like must and mold.
there was black mold on the bathroom floor.
I never took off my shoes the rug was dirty so was
the bathroom.
I will never stay here ever again.

Floor was a bit gritty but otherwise reasonably clean. One issue we did have which I reported to the front office at check out was that it appeared that the toilet may have been recently replaced and had moved making it difficult to close the bathroom door

THE PROPERTY WAS IN GREAT LOCATION TO CRUISE TERMINALS AND DINING. ISSUE WITH THEIR SYSTEM CAUSED MANAGER TO VERY UNPROFESSIONAL TOWARDS CUSTOMERS AND EMPLOYEES. Terry and Tasha were excellent and courteous and other customers agreed. Manager gave in under pressure of system issues.

We wanted to stay in Cocoa Beach for two days before flying home. We were very happy with the property and the location. It was walking distance to the beach and to several restaurants. The staff were excellent.

The exterior work they are doing looks much better than the areas not upgraded. Very clean courtyard and pool area. I had 2 rooms. The 1rst room(105) had a terrible musty smell that i tried to clear out, but after a few hours i had to switch rooms(front desk young lady was very nice and helpful). 2nd room was dusty, but it was 1 of newly painted and, i believe, an oversight. It is a motel, not hotel, which i enjoyed being outside immediately. Theyre very good in their demograph and price point of ~$100.

The property rooms do not look like this .. further we had a lot of blood stains in our room. It smelt horribly like it was cleaned with bleach. It was so shady that we called the Poilce to see if something horrible happened like a killing in the room.

We enjoyed our stay! Everything was perfect! We loved the pool! My only complaint was some of the vending machines werent working so we had to get something to drink from inside the lobby and pay the front desk. The issue with that was the amount they charged per 20 ounce soda. They were 5.00 a piece which I thought was insane. But other than that our stay was excellent!
