Old fashion service.
This hotel is older but clean and comfortable. The people that work there are so accomdating and give service like service they used to give back in the day. Tara is a superstar. The elevator is worth the stay all by itself. Loved loved loved my stay

Historic with modern conveniences
It was great. I loved staying at this historic hotel in the heart of Prescott. It was fun riding an elevator with an operator. The restaurant was excellent and so was the service. I would recommend it to all my friends.

The staff were fantastic! The onsite restaurant was a great fine dining experience with great food. They have a fire pit in front. We asked for it to be started. They did so right away and a little while later brought out marshmallows and sticks! Toasted marshmallows topped off a great stay!

Not as advertised
The website said it slept 5 people but we were only given two full beds so one person had to sleep on the ground. We requested a dog friendly room that was all carpet?

Beautiful, historical hotel
My college girlfriends and I came to Hassayampa for a special end-of-the-semester, Christmas event. We had a great time. I always love introducing visitors to this beautiful, historical hotel.

Staff was excellent and friendly, rooms reflect the period this historic hotel was constructed, smaller but otherwise fine. If in Prescott, must stay there once. Downside, in the morning, hotel lobby had initially one homeless guy propped in a chair sleeping, young guy, a few minutes later, older homeless guy comes in. Both quiet and harmless, but its a health issue, bad smell. Told staff should be addressed. Comfortable and artistic 1927 hotel lobby wasn't designed for a 2023 social problem

It’s an old building and the rooms are tiny, especially the bathrooms. But everything was functional. It was a nice one time experience, don’t know that I’d want to stay there again though.

Front desk in the am /mid afternoon was great ! Small coffee shop inside hotel was very convenient and coffee was good . Comfortable beds ! Very clean and nice ! Close to lots of shops and restaurants.

Very nice stay
The hotel is turn of the century and very well kept. The staff are extremely friendly and professional. We had breakfast in the restaurant, which was delicious and not too expensive. The beds aren't the most comfortable and like another visitor stated their pillows are kind of hard. Other than that the room was spotless and comfortable. It is an old hotel, so the stairs are high and the staircase is narrow, but they have an old elevator which is totally cool. Only a block from Whiskey Row. I definitely would stay again.

Comfortable room, but!
We enjoyed our stay at the Hassayampa Inn. The bed and room were comfortable and the service was good. But, unless we told the cleaning crew specifics they would do a general cleaning and not a thorough job. For example, we had to tell them to clean the mirrors when we arrived and when we used the coffee swizzle sticks they were not replaced the next day. I would recommend that room service be taught to clean properly and thoroughly and randomly checking rooms for cleanness since it's all about service.

The Hassayampa is a great location in Prescott. It is a very old building with all the charm and challenges that that entails. The building is old so if you enjoy that this is a good choice.

A Western Star
Fabulous older history place with gourmet food and service in the heart of Prescott only a short 1 block to Whiskey Row and Courthouse Square for events, fun, music and shopping. My fourth time staying there looking forward to more. The Inn is a destination in itself. Worth the drive when I visit Las Vegas and better than Sedona and less crowded and a better buy.

The staff was always making sure we were being taken care of and this was in all areas of the hotel, restaurant and bar included. Very comfortable room and just the whole ambiance of the historic hotel was AMAZING.

I love this beautiful, historical hotel. Minor issues--housekeeping did not clean my room the day I left the "Do not Disturb" sign off my door, and two days in a row my key card did not work so I had to make additional trips to the front desk.

I love this place, just a heads up though, not all rooms are the same. Some are much bigger with fridges and microwaves; others are much smaller with smaller bathrooms and no fridge or microwaves. There is no way to choose online either, you may just get one or the other. The bigger room is very much better.

Great old historic hotel right in the heart of Prescott. The location can't be beat. The property is well-kempt and very clean. We had a free breakfast card and the breakfast was outstanding - exceeded our expectations. We will be back again.

Such a gem! Really cute town, we felt very safe, the hotel is historic and amazing! The original elevator is still functional (I always wanted to ride one of those). They had live music and happy hour at the hotel. The staff was incredible! We didn’t want to leave. Thank you for an amazing visit.

I chose this hotel because of the ratings- then immediately regretted trusting that. The ONLY elevator is human operated and must be “called” and still have to tote luggage up steps to get to. The walls are so thin I had to listen to my neighbors blow their nose all night and their tv on in the morning.
The antique building has “charm” but none of the amenities that you’d want a hotel to have like comfortable beds, good lighting or quiet. This was literally the loudest hotel I’ve ever stayed in- between the AC that made it impossible to watch TV and the neighbors, it was not a fun experience. Not to mention the pillows that were probably also antiques.

Monica at the front desk showed excellent hospitality. She provided me with antibiotic and bandage at checkin because I wounded myself. The other staff, e.g. elevator staff were also friendly and helpful. My one complaint was of the dining room staff. While most were hospital in seating me and serving me, when they huddled near the kitchen their private conversations could be overheard, and the language was not workplace safe.

broken pipes and flooding in bathroom, unable to move while plumbing repairs were going on, also floor wet from leaking refrigerator lines on floor, slipped and fell. staff seemed unconcerned like it is something they hear all the time.

This historic hotel has been beautifully preserved. It's grand appearance is impressive. That being said, it does present a challenge due to the number of steps throughout. There is one elevator that has to be operated by staff only. The room was comfortable but was very noisy due to and adjacent air conditioner unit. I guess, I expected a little more comfort for $300 a night.

It feels like you went back in time. Very attentive staff & great service. Because the property is almost 100 years old there are some amenities you don’t enjoy. The bathroom is small, and we took the stairs a lot. But they kept up the place very nice & can’t beat the staff!

This is a very cute historical hotel. You likely will have to take some stairs to navigate throughout the hotel. There's an elevator but it's original to the 1920's building so it has to be ran by an attendant. If you have mobility issues just keep that in mind when booking. The hotel is very charming, my room was cozy, clean and quiet. The staff were very friendly and attentive. There are many restaurants and shops in walking distance, overall a great place to stay while in Prescott.

The staff at the Hassayampa Inn are fantastic. They treat you special as soon as you walk in the door. We enjoyed the historic aspect of the inn. The original elevator, wooden writing desks, lamps and older phones in the general areas add the charm of the experience. The Peacock Room breakfast was delicious with extra large servings. It is an easy walk to anywhere in the downtown Prescott area. We will definitely stay here again.

Fun historic hotel with a great location close to everything downtown Prescott has to offer. Wonderful live music, easy parking, restaurant, bar and coffee on the main floor. Friendly, professional staff made our stay. Be aware, historic hotels have small rooms…if you are looking for the Ritz this is not for you but if you appreciate historic properties you will not be disappointed.
