Everything was wonderful are room was clean, staff was friendly. I watched a male staff member every morning scrubbing and cleaning the breakfast area religiously. Breakfast was excellent each day too.

This hotel is not up to standards for a Holiday Inn express. Towels, sheets and pillowcases very dingy. Microwave did not operate correctly. Everything was very old and worn.

This property is conveniently located. Trails are walking distance from the hotel as well as restaurants, gas stations and other stores. Breakfast is included. You have different options from eggs, bacon, sausage, bagels, biscuits, fruits, grits, pancakes, yogurt, milk, juices, coffee and teas. The only downsize is the parking fee $15 per day.

Nice Sedona stay
Very clean but rather spartan modern update to interior. Very clean and comfortable. Good breakfast but dining area was a little crowded. Fabulous views. Very nice place for a Sedona stay without the traffic of the main part of town. Did have an unexpected parking fee.

Good Stay with some pros and cons.
Very nice location, coffee/tea options available at reception all the time. Breakfast was great with lot of options. The property looks good from outside/inside. Once you look closer you will realize that the property looks old and worn out. As other reviewers mentioned they will charge $15.95/day for parking. When you book through hotels.com there is no reference of this charge. When you go to hotel, they ask for credit card to block deposit. They didn’t mention anything about this charge. When you checkout also no mention of this charge. After 3-4 days this charge will appear on your CC. They never asked if I had a car. Was wondering if I used Uber, do they still charge this?

Everything was in good order.
The only complaint we had was the last full day we were there no one came to our room to take care of towels, trash etc. we had to go to front desk to get fresh towels and take care of trash ourselves.

Perfect weekend getaway
We came up for the weekend and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel was clean and the beds were very comfortable. There was a hiking trail within walking distance and plenty of good places to eat. Hotel staff was also very friendly.

Excellent stay! Very clean, super comfortable beds and friendly staff. The breakfast smelled amazing and tasted great. Pleasantly surprised it was very good as most hotel breakfasts tend to be blah. Hot tub felt great after a long hike and walkable to a few restaurants. Perfect hotel for a stay in Sedona and will be back! Highly recommend for the value and overall stay.

Promised pancakes and bacon on the website but no bacon and the pancake machine was broken. Super thin walls so you could hear the snoring from rooms next door. Otherwise it was fine. Great location and friendly staff at check in. Very clean.

Friendly staff
Everyone was pleasant and the breakfast was excellent. The inside of Hotel had an odor that seemed like they were covering up another type of odor. The carpet was stained and not enough pool towels was in towel bins. Like I said earlier staff was pleasant and friendly.

The Holiday Inn Express Sedona is a very nice property. Our room was comfortable and clean. The only issue was with the air conditioner which was quite close to the bed and blew cold air directly on us which was quite uncomfortable. The location is convenient to most attractions in the area. The breakfast area was very small. Overall, it was a good choice for our visit.

Overall it is an attractive and functional facility. One concern is that there was only one chair in our room and it only reclined making it uncomfortable for people with back problems that need upright back support. We had the staff bring a solid chair in for our use.

I was surprised and impressed. The front desk personnel were informative and pleasant. The room was modern and well kept. And the price was reasonable. Usually I look for the cheapest price but I will give Holiday Inn Express the benefit of the doubt until proven wrong.

When I checked in, they asked if I had a preference with 1st floor or top floor. I asked where ever is the quietest. She put me on the 2nd floor right in front of the pool that closes at 10pm, which is 1am eastern standard time. That room was not quiet at all, people hung out right under the room talking and laughing until it closed. Not sure if she was trying to be funny but it wasn't. I was on a short stay in Sedona and wanted to try and stay on east coast time as much as possible.

I chose this property in Village of Oak Creek to be away from the congestion on highway 89. There's a strip mall next door with food & shops. Circle K convenience store in walking distance. Situated next to Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock and Court House Rock gave awesome views from the parking lot! The pool (heated) & hot tub were a welcome amenity after a long day hiking. Breakfast was hot cooked food, fresh fruit & pastries. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

If you were a traveler with disabilities we would not recommend this property. When we arrived at the hotel they did not have an ADA room as requested. My daughter is in a wheelchair and can transfer. We settled on the room that was assigned to us but asked for a shower chair. I wish I could upload a picture. They gave us a metal folding chair to use in the shower, We have asked for shower chairs in other hotels and have never had an issue. This is a horrible way to treat the able bodied community.

Beautiful area - the scenery is beautiful. Not enough help at desk- too chatty . Policy for dogs enforced differently from other IGH properties that we have been guests at. Unfortunate alarm issue at around 5 am - fire alarm issue necessitated all guests to leave building and gather outside in the cold. Only one employee on premises . No one explained issue or offered any assistance to guests - many of whom where small children or seniors .

I was 4th in line to check in. The line continued to form while I stood there for 50 minutes because the host (Michael) just wanted to talk and talk. Nice guy but totally clueless that he was causing a wait line for no reason other than his chatty about his ancestors, fitness center, whatever he wanted to talk about. Nice guy but in the wrong job. Then sent us to a room that was occupied, so had to go back and get the room changed….wait, wait, wait. Hotel was fine….check in was not.

The walls are so thin it sounded like the people around us were in our room. At one point I opened our door to ask the people in the hall to please keep it down and found the hall empty. It was people talking in their room across the hall. The shower next door to our room sounded like a train going through ours.
