Great location near 6th street! Rooms were big and clean however you could hear people in the room next to you even if they were talking very low. Parking is too expensive you’re better off using the parking garage one street over. Very nice bar and gym.

Very overpriced stay on USGP weekend!
My daughter and I were visiting Austin for the 2023 US Grand Prix. Our vacation rental was cancelled last minute and we were forced to find some place to stay. Obviously there weren't many places available and they were renting at a premium. We chose the Hilton because we wanted to stay downtown and I'm a regular of the brand. However, I don't be returning to this hotel again. Some of our frustrations:
- The shower soap was empty when we arrived.
- You had to request to have your room made up... for $650 a night???
- The battery in our door lock died and we had to call he front desk. It took over 20 minutes to get someone to come fix it... in the meantime we had to eat our dinner standing up in the hall.
- We were awakened one night by the noise of vibrating pipes.
- There was a refrigerator but no microwave.
- The faucet in the bathroom sink wouldn't turn off.
As stated before, our stay was quite disappointing. If you have another option, stay somewhere else unless you are getting a great deal.

Stayed on the 24th floor. Was woken 5x a night x2 nights by unexplained squeaking and scraping on the floor above us, as if there were a bar chairs or a poker room. Cleaning staff was nice; everyone else was that hurried fake-nice ‘I could care less but have to pretend to care’ type. Conference food was cold, greasy & terrible. Rooms had rusting vents, chipped furniture and frayed carpets. Hotel clearly run at the barely acceptable level for conference attendees.

The location is convenient if you’re looking to spend quality time downtown, and every employee we spoke with was both incredibly helpful and kind.
Being a Holiday weekend, the facilities were relatively overcrowded, the pool in particular.
All in all, great if you’re looking to soak in the 6th Street Scene!

The property and the location were the only plus. We were able to conveniently walk around on 6th street. The staff at the hotel were terrible. We were told multiple different things and given the wrong information from multiple employees. The parking fee is outrageous! I did not like how the employees don’t honor what they say. Overall o would not recommend this hotel!

The Taco Project needs some attention. The waitress spill ice over our table while filling the glass and she didn’t apologize or clean her spill. She just walk away.
They appeared to be under staff. We were assigned a dirty table, the host try to wipe off and it appears ok. When I pulled my chair there was like juice on the floor, sticky, and I have to seat in an awkward position to avoid stepping on it.

The hotel does not worth the money. I had a problem with my receipt, they did not care about it despite all the calls and trials to fix the problem. They do not care who is coming in or out. Bad experience

Bathroom tub is not working and water was not draining. Called the service guy in the morning and they said it is some big issue and would take longer to fix it. This is not acceptable and checked out the room at 7 AM.

My 3rd time staying at your hotel because of location, parking and nice rooms. Always disappointed with the front desk staff. Never get a warm welcome or hotel info when arriving. Always seem irritated. First impression should be friendlier

I had a great time during my stay. The front desk staff and the guests staying in the hotel were all really friendly people. The 24 hour gym was really nice. I would've liked if the pool would've been opened later than 10PM. During my 2 night stay I didn't notice many kids in the hotel and when we were at the pool it was a good amount of people in the hot tub that I knew wanted to stay. I would recommend that it stays open till later on the weekends. During my stay I noticed on our beds blanket there was a big brown spot at the end of the bed that I'm hoping was just mud from someone's shoes that stayed in the room previously from us. Last note that I was a disappointed about was the parking. Paid 675$ for a 2 nights stay. I was not aware there is a fee to park at the hotel. I was very confused why I got charged 90$. I called customer support and after 30 minutes of transferring me to other departments to figure out why I got charged I was finally told that it was for parking and that i should've seen online that there was a parking fee to park at the hotel. When I arrived at the hotel I was confused on how the parking worked so I asked the front desk and he said as long as I had a hotel key I was good to park down there. I was not aware I had to pay 90$ to park at the hotel I'm already paying for. Me and my guys do a trip to Austin 2 times a year this is the hotel we decided we would go to every time we come down. other than the parking the stay itself was very nice.

We liked that our room was clean and it was in a great location. We enjoyed dining at the the Taco Project as Kylee and Morgan I believe were their names were great at what they do!
My only suggestion would be to have fans in the bathroom to help clear out moisture after a shower. It males the room a bit humid.
I would definitly stay again!

We had to request cleaning everyday when I think that should be included in the price of the room. When they did clean they never looked at the coffee area at all.Overall the facility was good but not great and there was NEVER a concierge present.

Very nice hotel!
Excellent location, close to downtown. Very well appointed, clean, and quiet. We had a drink in the bar downstairs, and easily the best amaretto sour I have ever had. They had a live band playing in the lobby when we arrived around 5:00, which made the atmosphere very inviting. 10/10 will stay again!

Perfect place for a weekend getaway
Phenomenal Hotel!! Perfectly situated in downtown Austin.
We especially loved that the hotel is pet friendly and all of the staff were extremely nice and accommodating. We will definitely be returning to this hotel for all our future trips.

The hotel was very nice. All of the staff were kind and helpful. All of the restaurants inside the hotel were decently priced and really good. The fungi pizza was the favorite! Starbucks inside the hotel was a nice amenity as well. The man in the gift shop even loaned us his bottle opener for our entire stay. The heated pool and hot tub were amazing! There is a spa under construction so that will be an added bonus when that is complete. There are a shocking amount of homeless people on 6th street right by the hotel, but none of them bothered us. There is just a stench if urine in the streets. We didn't have a microwave in our room which I found a little odd, but other than that, I can't really complain about anything.

Usually I love this Hilton, but this stay was different. The floor I was placed on had a horrible odor like a dead animal. I called and they said it wasn’t nothing they could do but call house keeping. The smell never got resolved by the time I checked out. I think they should have had anyone on that floor for that reason.

Hilton Austin was in a good location, meaning that we could walk or get to transportation quickly. Checking in was late and the girl on front desk was not really welcoming. Our room was clean and beds were comfortable. We had a view of the roof, oh well. Dining was limited, we tried to get a drink at the lobby bar approximately 10 minutes before they closed but they said they were closed. Overall it was a good stay.

$500 a night. Room was basic and I have seen better rooms for $250 a night. Did not even have bottles of water in the room. I have stayed at hotels for $200 that had better amenities, etc. No access to simple thing like - Advil in the evening. Called the guest services and asked for a bottle of water - they basically said come down and get it. Overall way better options for the price.

The location was perfect and the staff was super helpful. I liked that there was a Starbucks inside the hotel. The rooms were very clean. I liked the rooftop pool, but I wish it was open later. There were a few homeless people outside of the hotel at night. Otherwise, my stay was great and I would highly recommend!

Great room. Great location. Very nice hotel and roomy. Would’ve been nice to know there was a charge for parking. We were just asked if we would be parking with them. We said yes and they instructed us to use our room key for in and out. Was surprised to see a charge later. Someone came in to our room twice and asked us when we were leaving.

If your looking for convenience near 6th street this is it. Although there are other hotels closer to that. Most uncomfortable beds. Nothing special about a Hilton. You have to pay extra for any amenities. Like I said, only thing it gave us was close proximity. You pay high dollar, you should be comfortable.

Had to wait 30 minutes for valet after my keys were forgotten in drivers pocket. We were late to our event! Also unsafe drama when returning to valet Saturday night. Commotion with a group parked at lobby entrance, Sheriff was on the scene. Had a insist my car was taken to parking before I would leave so to avoid damage. Had to call 3 times to confirm housekeeping would clean the room. Housekeeping dose not refill shower pumps, had to track down gel, and there was no shampoo…

The gentleman at the front check in was fantastic. Extremely helpful and directed us to different favorite spots as we were first timers to Austin. Wish I could remember his name. The only, only minor disappointment was no coffee maker in the room. The hotel was beautiful. Will definitely make this property our go to for stays.
