We had a great stay at the Sonesta Simply Suites in Austin, Tx. It was a great central location to all of the places we went during our stay. The room was spacious, clean, nicely decorated, however it was very hot during our stay. It appears the A/C unit was not working properly. There was no breakfast on property, however you have your own full kitchen. They charge a daily fee for parking, which was not communicated. Overall, it was a nice enough and safe place to stay.

Facility was a little out dated. Room was clean. My main issue was that the bathrub did not drain fast. I would run the water and within a min, the water would be up to my ankle. I also saw a roach while I was walking out to check out.

Everything was great, staff was great. Rooms could’ve been a lot cleaner, doesn’t seem like they vacuum the rooms often. We found some dead bugs under the chairs. The desk chair had dandruff and hair all over it. There was also a lingering smell everytime we returned to the room, we had to leave the window open at all times.

The staff here are so lovely! I stayed here for a 2-week work trip and everyone on the staff, especially the front desk folks and maintenance guy, were so very accommodating and kind, especially when I had a plumbing issue in my room. The facilities themselves are not glamorous but clean and with convenient amenities, which is a great value given the very reasonable price point.

Floors were not clean, WiFi wasn’t working,no soap in the bathroom and there was no tv remote control. Management did little to try to rectify these issues.

My stay was wonderful. The bed is so comfortable. The staff was beyond excellent very friendly and attentive to guest needs. The stay was quiet... I loved it.

Property is being updated. No elevator service and was on the 3rd floor.
Room was clean and AC kept us cool.

The inside of the hotel was nice and clean and front desk staff helpful. However outside of the hotel gates, has a lot of litter. But down the road its nicer with good restuarants.

HOT AND TERRIBLE
This place is a joke. The elevator was broken, and the front desk lady was nasty about it. She put me on the top floor, and directed me to stairs that were the opposite side of the hotel from my room. The room was HOT. There was clearly something wrong with the central air, and the widow unit in this one bedroom "suite" was insufficient to cool the bedroom.

For the price you pay, this place is great. Friendly staff, free laundry machines to use, basic gym, and clean rooms with a kitchen that includes utensils and extras. The only downside is their WiFi speed -- calling it slow is an understatement. Even while the hotel wasn't busy, the best I could get is 5mbs. That's barely enough to watch a YouTube video at decent quality. So if that's important to you, might want to look elsewhere. But for everything else? These guys do the basics perfectly 👍

This was a lovely stay for my Husband and I, spacious and conveniently next to the freeway! Only issue I had was the parking feee , which I think is absurd! Also wish it could’ve gd a pool or any other amenities :(! Other than that it was an awesome stay nice staff close to my event, thanks for the stay 2’we enjoyed it!
