The Renaissance Hotel is a couple of blocks to Footprint Center in Downtown Phoenix where we saw The Eagles perform. An easy walk. Several restaurants are also close by. Our room was clean and staff were super friendly and helpful. Only option is Valet Parking and staff made it easy to use our car 24/7. A Starbucks and cocktail lounge in the lobby. Highly recommend.

The decor was flawless, the cocktails at the bar were great the staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We were in town from NY for a Suns game and location was great. Would definitely make another trip.

Great hotel
Hotel is in a good location and walking distance to many restaurants. There is a Starbucks on property which made our morning coffee runs easy. Room service was fast and efficient. The room was comfortable and clean. The property was also very clean, quiet, and staff was very attentive.

The hotel was very clean and all staff was very hospitable, especially the housekeepers and maintenance personnel. We did receive conflicting information regarding the club room and restaurant so feel communication could be better between Management and team members.

Amazing service at Hotel Renaissance PHX
The service was amazing. I accidentally had a duplicate booking from a third party vendor. The third party did not want to issue a refund, but the staff at the hotel was very helpful in securing me that refund. Also, I left my cell phone in a Waymo self driving car and the hotel staff tracked it down for me and got it back. This was after I had already checked out. If it wasn’t for their help, I would have had to return home without my phone.

Checkin was terrible. Never notified me when my room was ready. On the 4th try they said it was ready an hour ago. Also understaffed in the midafternoon at the bar. The property is nicely maintained and has a spacious lobby.

False advertising! No EV charging here
When I arrived, I was told the hotel does not have an EV charger. I had just driven from Los Angeles so I only had 10% left in my battery. Luckily, I had a charging cable in my trunk that could plug into a regular 110 outlet, But in the 10 hours my car has been charging, it’s only added 40 miles to my range. This hotel should be advertise EV Charger as an amenity. Also, they are advertising free Wi-Fi, but when I checked in I was told I would need to pay $14 for the Wi-Fi so I have not used it.

Was walking distance to events we were in Phoenix to see and do. There was a Starbucks attached to the hotel. The room was modern and clean. Beds were comfy. Breakfast and staff in the Dust Cutter restaurant were outstanding. Our waiter John was awesome.

Wrongful charge
This was my second stay with this hotel and everything seemed to be going great, they put me in a room that had a door to another room and it was tiny. That was a little annoying because I was alone.
I picked the extra $20 option to have free valet, wifi and a food credit. This was confirmed at check in and I just saw I was charged for valet. I tried to get a refund and they denied it, I tried calling to talk to someone and no one answered me from billing.
I'll be disputing the charge because I have evidence and they wrongfully charged me for something they shouldn't have. I don't think I'll be staying here again. I was hoping to make this my go to when I stay in Phoenix but after this experience it is very unlikely.

The first night we got there the room was not very clean. There was long black hairs everywhere and the floor was not clean. It was around 2am and people were arguing in the hallway.

I really enjoyed the property and all its amenities. I however did not have a pleasant greeting at the front desk when i arrived. Leif checked me in and the entire conversation while checking in was "can i get last name? can i get a form of ID? Okay i need a card on file. here's you room key, floor 19 have good day". I had to find out about amenities for myself and the areas surrounding. I would've appreciated at least a hello, have a nice stay.

The hotel itself was nice and great location.
What i didn't like was that it took me an hour to check in. Check in time is at 4:00, i was there at 4:00. I waited an hour in line and when i finally got to the counter they told me my room was not ready and they would text me when it was ready or they can put me in a king bed. My reservation was for 2 queens, 4 people. I'm sorry but if check in is at 4:00 then all reservations should be ready. This was completely unacceptable. Thank god another gentlemen stepped in and found me a room. This hotel needs to plan better and have more staff at check in when they know there is a big event happening.

Finally, a hotel with pre-pandemic service
Great room; comfy bed; nice shower; close to Chase Field. A great place to stay. But the best thing was finally finding a hotel that defaults to servicing your room each day, rather than having to "opt in" for it.

The hotel was beautiful inside but….one restaurant was closed and the one that was opened was so busy that they couldn’t even take our food order. There was no room service available either because of that. Also they got very confused and they wanted to charge us for the internet and valet parking although we paid extra when we booked for those services. Overall not the best experience.

It is a beautiful hotel. The front desk staff weren't entirely helpful or friendly when we called down with questions and when we asked for more toilet paper (which we never received). There weren't any luggage carts available at checkout, which was a pain because we had to make multiple trips with our luggage. Valet is mandatory and pricey, but the valet staff were great. The location was perfect and having a Starbucks and late-night restaurant on site was wonderfully convenient. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Nice hotel. lobby and hotel bars are very nice . location is excellent for downtown events. Parking is expensive and valet service leaving Saturday morning was understaffed. We were given a room near an elevator and noise machine I mean ice machine … would have requested a different room if we stayed another night other than that great place

My family and I checked in everything was great until we were getting ready to hop into bed, we noticed one of the beds didn't have a comforter. We called the front desk to ask for one we thought maybe they just forgot to put one on it was no biggie we called and the person who answered told us very rudely that they were out of comforters. That they didnt have enough comforters. We then asked for a blanket and again very rudely he said they were out too. We couldnt believe that the 4 star hotel didnt have enough comforters for all the rooms how could this happen. Staff sent 2 bed sheets because we asked for that they didnt even offer a solution to the problem but anyway that was not comforting at all. Night was cold, didnt have a good night sleep at all. And the way the front desk person let us know was absolutely rude. This should not be acceptable for a 4 star hotel. Didnt have a good experience I honestly wish I could have my money back.

Rooms weren’t cleaned properly daily(we stayed 5 nights). Bartender purposely used the bar whiskey even though I asked for top shelf. Just overall mediocre and overpriced. Wouldn’t recommend

Fabulous hotel in the downtown Phoenix area. We stayed here due to the Taylor Swift Concert. We love going to scottsdale but thre concert was in glendale AZ so this was between both. Clean rooms. Beds are like a cloud. Amazing. Great location and helpful staff. Local coffee shops close by and a starbucks in hotel.

Front desk staff was mediocre - one girl just seemed like she did not want to be there, but another guy - a manager i think, was very kind and gave us extra waters as it was late at night and nothing in the area was open.
The room was nice enough, only complaint would be that the AC was SO incredibly loud to the point where it was difficult to sleep and we had turn it off, which was disappointing.
