I found the room and grounds to be clean - appeared to have been updated since the last we were there. I like the layout of the room. I wish the kitchen had been better stocked with more cooking items & perhaps more dishes & cutlery. I enjoy the chaise loungers on the balcony.

Not up to standards if a double tree. Property is an apartment building with tenants and residents in addition to hotel. Rooms don’t look like they do in photos. Sounds from street can be heard easily 25 floors up. Wouldn’t stay here again

We were first given a room where jack drilling was done on the immediate floor above our room from 9h to 18h. Then we were given a room with very bad and lumpy mattresses.

I didn’t like the fact that beach service is limited to 2 beach chairs per unit, regardless of the unit size and no umbrella was included without paying $24 for each umbrella. I stayed in a 2-bedroom suite, which sleeps 6 and we had to pay $20 for any beach chairs in excess of the 2 provided. That can be an additional cost of $80 for beach chairs and $72 for 3 umbrellas (1 for every 2 chairs) per day!

There was nothing unique. Just an average resort. However, I didn’t like the beach service. Or rather the lack of it. Every other beach service in the area provide up to 5 beach chairs per unit, towels and 1 umbrella per 2 beach chairs. This property only provides 2 beach chairs (regardless of the number of occupants, I had a 2 bedroom suite, which accommodates up to 6 people) and no umbrellas. If you want an umbrella, it’s $24, if you wants extra beach chairs it’s $20 per chair

Wonderful Winter Break Stay
Really great trip!! Travelled with the family and stayed in a wonderful suite room. Loads of space, fully equiped kitchen and washer/dryer in room!
Pool area was perfect for young kids and beach access ideal.
Staff were amazing! friendly, helpful and efficient.
Will be coming back again!!

Basic amenities like toiletries and laundry supplies should be by default present in the suite. Many things like the above were missing. Double rooms did not have a telephone to talk to the front desk.

Nice spacious rooms. Service for room comes very late in day so they are often in the room when you’re trying to get ready for dinner. I was okay forgoing service and just wanted a towel exchange one day but the request was not honored. Still had someone in room as 5 of us were trying to get through showers with looming dinner reservation. Only 2 beach chairs per room included. We had two two bedroom units for a total of four bedrooms and 7 guests but you still get the same number of chairs as a one bedroom even though you’re paying double. Nice ocean views and decent food at pool. Overall nice stay - just noting things to be aware of ahead of time.

Right from check in i knew i was never booking another stay here, even though my room was ready i was charged $75 for an early check in fee, parking not included with the stay and that was an additional $100. When you go to the beach they only accommodate 2 chairs per room and it’s $20 a chair after, it’s not like i brought a guest everyone was on the list for the room so i feel it would make sense to give us 3 chairs. Parents had kids in the jacuzzi unattended. Overall I’ve had better for relatively the same price in the same area of north Miami. Wouldn’t recommend, valet attendants were very nice and night staff was very nice. Everyone else i give a thumbs down.

Loved the room and the great staff who were so helpful when Expedia messed up our booking. They sorted everything out despite Expedia never having informed them that we had booked and paid in full in advance. Their help was greatly appreciated.

The property and staff are great. The lack of open times for the bars and restaurants were inconvenient. We choose to dine elsewhere as these areas were hit and miss when open. Eddie at beach services was outstanding and super friendly.

Beautiful area. Hotel was great, pool and beach were amazing. Carpet was stained in the hallway on my floor. Shower door and toilet paper holder were broken. Other than that, the room was great, awesome views from the balcony.

La ubicación es ideal para pasar días de playa y shopping, si bien es un edificio antiguo tiene todas las comodidades el servicio es excepcional, tienen personal para estacionar el auto que no está incluido en el precio pero abonando el valet parking dan acceso a una aplicación para pedir el auto cada vez que quieras y funciona increíble.
Las piscinas están muy bien, tienen sol por la
Mañana y la temperatura es ideal. La playa y el mar cuentan con servicios y personal que también se paga adicionalmente pero vale la pena. Voy a reclamar porque me cobraron 4 días de sombrilla y solo utilicé dos. Hay que prestar atención en el checkout.

Hotel seem to be dated and some area of the hotel had renovations going, which at times kind of was noticeable with construction sound. We had very nice corner view, on 12th floor, which shared the city view and beach view. Guest services were very pleasant and courteous. Valet parking kind of price at $40 per night but valet parking people are very pleasant and polite. The car always was ready in 5 to 7 minutes after request waiting for you to take it out for the ride on the city at any time. The pool and beach were clean and all seem fine. Stayed with family of 6th and kitchen was very helpful to have.

We had one of the greatest times here at the Double Tree. This is our second time coming to this hotel and we want to keep on booking vacations to this exact spot. We would love to as well mention Olga one of the staff front desk members. She was a great and wonderful help. Assisted us with all of our needs. All the staff and property members were just a blast. We definitely will be coming again soon. Thank You Hilton for this excellent hotel and wonderful Staff members.

We love this property! The Oceanview suite is perfect for our family stay..The rooms are very clean, guest services and valet staff ate very professional. The pool and beach atea is very clean too. Poolside lunch is AWESOME! Not to mention the mall os close by. We cant wait to teturn!!

Beautiful property, exceptional staff! The only thing I would recommend is some type of signage closer to the street (Collins Blvd) as you will pass right by it. The property sits off the street and up an incline. Other than that no complaints. My second year on a row staying here and will definitely return.

When staying at this hotel we had the inconvenience of moving 3 rooms since our first room had no lights and phone wasnt working (still wasnt working even after we checked out), the second room had a busted in door so we couldnt close it, and finally the final room only had one bed when we requested two. Out of rooms, they just told us we had to stay in the first room with no lights and send a broker up to our room, the time was well into the AMs. When asked whether we would be compensated the front desk person intially said yes but didnt leave a note for the supervisor the next day when we asked. Instead we were offered a “discounted night” and then she would happily compensate us fully if the person we talked originally could validate whether what we said was true or not and that she would give us a call when everything was sorted out. We never got a call back. Fortunately enough we were able to talk to the hotel manager. On top of this entire inconvenience, there was a dead roach in our drawers and we never got any more towels. Including no hand soap in our hotel room. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The property is run down and in much need of renovating. The rooms were very dusty and I didn’t even feel comfortable walking on the floors without shoes on due to sticky floors. Most of the fixtures were breaking or broken. The elevators were a nightmare. On the last day it took me 40 min to leave my room and make it to the lobby because the elevators weren’t working properly. I was there for a total of 5 days and was only able to get cookies the first day, which would be fine if it was explained that it is a rule that cookies are only allowed upon checkin but unless this is a rule, there should be more cookies.🍪 The hotel is in a great location and the beach was beautiful. I do feel if they paid attention to some of the smaller details their customers experiences would be much better.

I arrived at this hotel at 4:15pm my check in time was at 4:00pm my room was not ready I had to wait another 20 minutes for them to inspect the room, as I'm waiting for them to inspect my room I'm seeing other guest that came in after me check in and go straight to there room as I'm waiting,after I received my room I went to turn on the TV and it didn't work so I tried to call the front desk and the phone line was dead it didn't work so I had to call the front desk with my cell phone to get someone to come fix these issues, they was able to fix the TV but not the phone because the line was dead,my stay was horrible,I wouldn't recommend this Hotel to anyone!!!

This was a somewhat disappointing experience. Spectacular location and pleasant front desk staff, but valet parking was expensive and inconvenient, beach services, pool bar and Starbucks/shop all closed warly, and property in less thsn great repair. Elevators noisy and slow. Not up to par for a Hilton property, in truth, though great location compensated in part.

It has been five years or more since I have stayed at this property. It needs to be updated and remodeled. The carpeting is old, and there are cracks in the walls. The pool area roofs are rusted, and the pool needs tile. It just looks unkept and old for the prices they charge for the Hilton name.

I booked the trip my husband and I. The room was nice. It was right on the beach which was nice. Downfall was having to pay for valet parking. We rented a car but also a harley for 24 hours. We had to return the harley before 5pm the day we rented it instead of the next day due to the hotel not allowing bikes and not having self parking. We did not think to look in to this before we rented the bike. But the bike ended up being a waste of money since we had it for 24 hours but only got to use it for 6 hours. Not necessarily hotels fault but wish they had a spot for bikes that you could self park. Also the place that provided chairs and umbrellas along with the beach cafe closed early compared to what people were still out on the beach. The chairs should atleast be available while your on the beach. The beach bar and cafe also seemed to close early. There wasnt any real place to eat in the hotel.

We had a two bedroom Ocean view suite. Everything about our stay was great, except for the hotel suite is very outdated. Fabulous wraparound balcony, super spacious with full kitchen, breakfast area, dining room area, large living room, two bathrooms.

Right on the beach room was spacious but dirty stain carpets broken fixtures mouldy corners but location was great food was scarce and no good quality breakfast was the better one for what you pay here you can stay in a better place I bennbrenting hiltons for many years now and is not anymore a for sure comfort now is a hit and miss kind of deal had few bad experiences I keep giving it a try and is disappointed anyways the beach is beautiful the pool is cloudy will return again to sunny isles just no to this resort balcony in room was nice with views of the ocean and the city people were nice too

This is such a perfect place for families. The rooms are large and well maintained. I feel like the valet service was not well organized and we ended up waiting for our car every time. Other than that, staff was very professional, friendly and efficient.

Great place, just needs a bit of work.
Our family has stayed here several times over the years and continue to return, but it is becoming a bit worn, and needs an update. Great location, great staff, well priced, especially considering it is a suite, not just a single room. Just needs cosmetic work and ne carpets, etc.

The sheets were dirty, and they charged me extra for resort fee without mentioning or asking me if I will be using the resort. I was charged 35 extra for every night I stayed in for valet. I had to spend an extra 200 that I wasn’t expecting to pay for.

the only good thing abt this place is that it’s right on the beach. i can tell they’ve done a lot to update the lobby, but rooms are extremely outdated and pretty banged up. they also charge random fees upon checkout and you even have to pay every day if you want an umbrella or an extra chair at the beach 🙄 really wish i would’ve spent a bit more on something nicer.

Enjoyable North Miami Beach Spot
Overall I would stay there again. For the price it was great choice. You enjoy being right on the beach. The unit had a good amount of space and a kitchen which is nice on extended trips. Property is a little dated but they are trying to keep it clean and maintained.

My room was huge, nice partial ocean view, nice beach and pool area! Be aware that you have to paid for your umbrellas daily ( not included in resort fee) except you are okay without! Valet parking fast! People there is very friendly except one person ( short skinny young guy) was not respectful! Furniture in the room okay except the coaches have to be deep clean, and the kitchen as well bc I saw some cockroaches! Overall is okay!

Seems there is no p trap in the shower. Sewer gas escaping making the bathroom and master bath smell like sewage. Then the housekeeps verbally attacked my mother for assuming we were talking about her. I am extremely disgusted with the service we encountered especially with the amount I paid for the weekend. I truly am shocked. Let’s not mention the amount of prostitutes going in and out of this property.I am shocked.

Rooms were not clean. Door handle was broken hard to get into room. Was upset as we were charged the resort fee for both days, we checked in at 11 pm at that time no beach chairs or towels used. Restaurants not open. I feel thecresort fee should have only been charged for the 2nd night but they would not take off the bill.

Very nice property BUT with George as a manager that hotel will be a one star hotel soon, he is very disrespectful and lie, i book a two bedroom suite with 1 king bed and 2 queen beds but he gave me and my family of 5 a suite with 1 king and 1 full size bed. He told us we of to get out that room by 11 o’clock the next day and he would put us in the suite that we pay for in 30 to 40 minutes, we waited for hours in the lobby and every 20 min he lie saying in 30 it will be ready until 2:00 he told me it will be ready by 2:30 and went to his office and never came back, I stand at the front desk from 2pm to 5:00pm when a young lady by the name Kadisha came and help me in about 30 minutes. I don’t regret staying there but I hope nobody else go through what George put me and my 2 kids and wife through.

My experience was good until the point where they lost my luggage at the front desk I will like to speak to someone about this unresolved issue. The hotel manager has been unable to even review the video security tape from the front desk and i had very valuable apple item’s in the bag. I has been 3 days and they still can’t view the security video or help me out

We booked this stay with our small kids in mind, big room with multiple beds, kitchen and easy access to a beach and pool. Although we were on the 6th floor (first floor with rooms) we could hear a lot from the pool etc, however, the room was huge and newly renovated. We had a view, space, and more than we could have asked for. The staff was so kind and we enjoyed our stay so much! I think the rooms get renovated very quickly, so they aren’t perfect, but it feels clean and the amount of space is unreal! My family of five had more than enough room and had the very best time. Having the pool and the beach right there is a must. Would recommend and would like to come back.
