I have stayed at this hotel multiple times and probably would again, however my last trip had several problems. First the bathroom sink had a leak flooded the bathroom. Also the hotel parking gate was not functioning properly and double charged meme.

Don’t stay here if you have other options
The condition is really poor, the door slam like crazy, the vending machines don’t work, lights are flickering. The front desk people is pretty unfriendly too, overall bad experience.

Faulty elevators that didn’t work. Had a panic attack every time. Also their cards don’t work to open the door, a worker had to come up with me!

I cant believe that this is a 3 star hotel. The room smelled bad, and the staff refused to move us. The TV was totally broken with red lines through the screen. The bath was unusable, with no drain plug. The bed covers were way too thin and we had to get extra blankets.

Bad service no support
It was not clear that you had to be 21 to be let in and they would not refund neither one of two reservations. We had no place to stay as a result. There should be a box that needs to be checked that you are of age so that buyer knows ahead of time.

The room had a broken thermostat. The staff moved us to a different room the thermostat was functioning to adjust the temperature but the fan switch was broken and could not switch it from high low mode. This room did not have a microwave but had the machine using capsules but no tea capsules were available/provided.

Good price. No extras.
Super easy to check in and park. Extremely helpful desk staff. Lots of take out and delivery options nearby. We got Chinese food in less than half an hour. Nice and quiet. Later check out time (noon). Roomy room.
Downers: mattress too soft, no extra blankets or pillows. You have to pay extra for breakfast. The place is very clean but also cheap looking and worn.

Very run down. No coffee available. There was one coffee pod in our room. The elevators looked like a they'd been trashed and our bathroom had seem better days. Overall the place needs a makeover.

I did not receive the room I ordered. And the TV didn't work. I came to relax and enjoy but it's not really possible when you don't receive what you paid for and the room is not functioning condition. Thankfully the staff was amazing and very polite and helpful, but still the room was just not up to standards

I’m from the area. We were there for a funeral to honor my dad as a retired Arlington Co. police officer. My sisters wedding reception was held in your hotel 30 years ago. The young lady who check us in was very sweet & friendly. The rooms left a lot to be desired. We had several rooms booked and I don’t think the bathrooms have been redone since my sisters wedding reception! The ceilings in the showers had major water leaks, one room the tub was leaking horribly and the sink in my room looked like the sink and counter were coming apart. Not stopped drain either. A little disappointed in the fact that there’s no continental breakfast or even complimentary coffee for guests. I hate to say it but, out of 10, I’d give this hotel maybe a 4. My sisters door to her room was so bad, they had to literally slam it to get it to close (wake up everyone!) My mind was exhausted, otherwise I would have taken pictures.

Business trip
The hotel is very close to the main business centre.
Lots of bars and esting places close by. Fast food there is Starbucks and McDonalds and then if you head into the small shopping Mall next to Maces there is a Chicken-Fil-A. Fantastic burgers.
The hotel is about 25 to 35 mins from the airport depending on traffic. Uber, 35-49 dollars.

The staff was delightful as well as helpful. Coffee maker was not working and was replaced right after I reported it. The breakfast items seemed expensive and limited. I appreciated the short walk to the Metro. Also appreciated a secure place to store my luggage while waiting for my plane later in the day.

It was in a very busy area. George Washington university is right across the street! The building seemed to be older. There were some people playing music loudly in a room just down the hall. The trash can in the bathroom had trash in it still from the previous people that had stayed in that room.

First the keys to the room didn’t work, then there weren’t any toiletries in the bathroom only towels and cloths. Then window seals were filthy. And lastly, there was a half full bottle of wine in the fridge which meant no one cleaned that out.
For the location, this place really has to step it up.

The curtains didn’t close all the way and were filthy on the bottom as of they’d never been cleaned. There was a roach in the bedroom and the ironing board produced an odd smell when I used the iron. It was pretty gross given all the hotels in the area. A marked difference in quality…though not in price.

Property was run down and our bathtub paint was peeling. Gross!! No housekeeping service at all during our four days. We took out our own trash and everyday I had to ask for Kcups, creamer and coffee cups. We like our morning coffee. Had to take a roll of toilet paper off the housekeeping cart because 1/2 a roll (which is what was left from the last guest) would not last two people four days. Also we ran out of tissues and toiletries so I helped myself to the housekeeping cart once more to replenish our room. I can definitely reuse my towel and make my own bed but at least have housekeeping stop in to empty the garbage and replace toiletries. Felt like once we checked in we were just forgotten about. Our saving grace was Michael who helped direct us towards the use of mass transit during our visit. We will not stay there again.

Nice area, good service from staff but conditions of room was a little sub par.
Examples:
Toilet would not flush - they fixed it
Light out out in bathroom -waiting on ballast
AC - never registered below 73 when on 65
And cut on-And off all night
Door would not close all the way unless forced
Would give them another chance if in area but would hope for some updates.

We had 10 rooms for a graduation. Staff was very helpful, with putting us together, getting room early. Even letting us rent the restaurant one night to have a get together last minute! Only complaint my guests had was missed a coffee bar in lobby.

I actually moved out to a different hotel after two of my five night stay. Mostly because there was no hot water to be found. I was told it was because there were lots of tourist groups staying at the hotel. The television did not work. And the beds were a bit hard. The staff was pretty indifferent, although the receptionist on Monday evening was kind enough to switch my room from right next to the elevator to a different location.

The issue is that for the price the amenities are not commensurate. For instance, in the fitness room, there is no water. Breakfast coupons are made out to be a big deal for a very normal breakfast. Ice makers on several floors were not working (except one on the 6th floor). Roll away bed sheets and linens were not fresh.

We were not impressed with the property, finding it only adequate for lodging. There was no microwave available in the room, the television had something wrong with it where the background would all be shown in red color regardless of the channel, ice machines were typically broken; no free breakfast was provided to guests.

Overall we were very happy with our stay there. Nice hotel and had all the amenities we needed. Food and bar service was great, as was the front desk staff. My only complaint is that the water pressure in the shower was very low.

This hotel was in a pleasant area within 2 blocks of the Metro that was a direct 20-minute ride to the National Mall. If you are driving in from out of town, the parking rates at 18 a day were reasonable and you could park the car yourself. We walked to some excellent restaurants—Mussel Grille, SER (Spanish cuisine) and PFChangs. The staff was very friendly and tended to needs immediately. There was a bike/ walking path just across the street. I will definitely return.

The staff was great once we got there. Trying to get through by phone was a joke on hold for over 30min. The room air conditioner couldn't cool the room to the temp we set. It would actually put out heat at times.

I would not recommend this property, very out of date, horribley maintained. Not enough staff, could not get your breakfast... possibly if you had an extra 2 hours of you Morning! Not for a business traveler or any traveler at all.

Arrived late, the door was closed and I didn't see that behind me there was an intercom. The person in charge wasn't in a good mood. He barely explained to me where the parking was and how to get to the room. The sink in the bathroom was clogged.

The front desk experience was not impressive. Checkin was ok, but the fire alarm was going off all night long. Just when we fell back asleep it would go off again. Thankfully, we didn't have to leave the building, but we were smelling smoke so really didn't know. When I complained about it in the morning, the women just said, "I wasn't here, so I know nothing about it." and dismissed it. She comped our parking, but big deal. Several people in that hotel were there to run a race and needed their rest. You go to a hotel to get rest, and we definitely did not get any! Bad customer service. Should have offered a comp night another time I would be in the area.

The first room I was in had an issue with the darkening curtains so I was moved to another room. That room had an issue with the fire alarm system-it kept making a loud buzzing noise in my room. I called the front desk, said what room I was in and reported the noise. I was told they would check the system. I heard nothing further from staff and then about 20 minutes later, the buzzing happened again. I called the front desk again and was told they had found an issue that was causing the problem on my floor, others had also complained and they were moving people to new rooms. I appreciated being moved but can't understand why I wasn't informed immediately once they knew there was an issue. This was all taking place at 10pm and I had to go back to the front desk with my luggage in order to turn in the key and get another key for the new room.
The breakfast I had though-it was delicious!

Cleanliness was horrible: rooms are cleaned /made up every 5 days, essentially not during a normal stay, hallways showed obvious signs of non-existent vacuuming, wallpaper peeling, pool a sickly green (non-operable), most of the ice machines not working. On the positive side a very friendly manager who greeted us...
