It’s a little dated, but it’s clean and has a cool design in the “courtyard” area. It’s a very busy area with lots of dining options.

Breakfast area was large--no need to wait for a place to sit. Breakfast included some hot options. Our room was at the very end of the property; took a while for the water to heat enough for a shower. Have stayed here multiple times and will continue to stay here when we're in the area. Price is reasonable.

Renovation soon.
I talked to the manager about the FILTHY carpeting in the main entry, hallways and main salon. She said it’s the original and it is soon to be replaced. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated.

Always a wonderful stay at Auburn Place. We stay here several times a year as we pass through to visit family in Kansas. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

I planed a girl weekend for my daughter's birthday. We wanted to relax in a pool and enjoy ourselves but the indoor pool was way too cold to even try to get in. It was a huge disappointment.

Nice hotel/motel
The hotel was nice and clean. We were able to get connecting rooms so we had a door from the outside (motel) and the joining room had a door from the inside (hotel) staff was friendly. Would stay again. Only suggestion would be need more available outlets or maybe even add lamps with USB connections to charge electronics. Other than that it was great

Comfortable quality pre-surgery night stay at reasonable price. Nice room, bed, flat screen, fridge, microwave. Quality hot and cold breakfast. What else would we need? Kudos!

Pet friendly. They have exterior rooms for easy access to walking your dog and interior rooms for ease of accessing the inside of the hotel. There is also a connecting door between an interior and exterior room should you need 2 rooms. Friendly staff. Clean room. Good sleep.

Dumpy. Floor dirty. Bathroom door handle broken and was found taped so as to prevent someone from being stuck in the bathroom. Canceled return trip reservation and stayed across the street at the much nicer Holiday Inn Express.

Repeat Customers For A Reason
We stay at the Auburn every time we are in the area. It is conveniently located, comfortable, and has a great pool. There are a lot of great restaurants nearby, with a few good ones in walking distance. Our rooms have always been impeccably clean.

Fair price for the room.
Furnishings were outdated, room was clean, a little more attention needed in bathroom (hairs in the shower)and breakfast was good. Price was good. Only complaint is the room door didn't shut tight. You could geel the air coming through and did not feel secure. We had a room with an wxterior entrance.

You never know what you will get when you book online and your goal is the least expensive option. This hotel was very clean and the staff was polite and super helpful. We stayed one night and the only negative thing was the noise from the parking lot (other guests) which was no fault of the hotel. We will be staying again.

Breakfast was a good variety.
When we arrived it was nice, in the lobby. The receptionist was polite
,but did not tell us what time breakfast was, when we got to our room I was surprised that the cabinet under the sink middle panel was laying in the flooor, i went down to try seat to say something but no one was around . We went to dinner can back and still no one was around to tell. We kept putting it on and it would fall off constantly, so we left it lay on the floor. Finally in the morning I was about to see 2 workers at the front seat and informed them.
Also there was mold on the shower , i usually do not say anything but it was one thing on top of another.
Breakfast was good being we don’t eat much breakfast it was a very good variety.

We had amazing time. We enjoyed the pool pool table foosball table and the milk and cookies in the evening was a big hit. Breakfast was great a little something for everybody. The staff was welcoming as soon as we got there and every day that we were there a smile on their face glad to see this.

We have stayed there several times. The location and casual atmosphere set you apart; don't change that. Others could improve by copying that. The large common area is great even though it kind of goes back to the way hotels/motels uses to be. much appreciated.

Auburn Hotel
This hotel is definitely an older hotel. Our stay was pleasant enough, esp for the price point. There were a few things that would make it a better place.
First one is to clean or remove the carpeting that is in all the public areas. It appears to be worn and dirty. The handrails on all the stairwells were grimey, so I didn't want to touch them going up or down.
The last thing is working water fountains were hard to find and the 2nd floor ice machine was broken. Public areas could really use a good cleaning.
The tv in our room looked like it had been dropped and the remote didn't work, so when i tried to operate it directly on the tv late one night, it went haywire and just kept spinning through the stations, not allowing one station to stay on. I called the front desk. They said to come down and get a new remote or switch rooms. I felt the tv needed to be changed out, but they said that wasn't an option. It was our last night and we were all ready for bed, so we just went without late night tv.
Also, no elevator for those who have trouble with stairs, or if you have a lot of luggage.
Also the courtyard rooms and the indoor courtyard have a very strong smell of chlorine if that bothers you. The pool water was very chlorinated, stinging the eyes
Our room was clean, beds were comfortable, breakfast was adequate. late night cookies was nice.

Beautiful hotel with laundry available. Apparently there’s a full breakfast buffet too! Spacious rooms, beautiful dining area, clean rooms and friendly staff! We really like it’s pet friendly too. Lots of area for walking pets too!

Extremely thin walls and the room door would shake and knock with any other rooms door closing. Could hear every sound, voice, door closure, shower, toilet and anyone in the hallway all night long. Did not sleep at all. Breakfast was minimal and not good. Very sketchy clientele sitting outside at all hours in the parking lot and smoking stations.

Suitable stay
This stay was a surprise. I thought it would be ho-hum but it has a pool and games and is right in the middle of a restaurant row. The only reason I did not give the highest rating was sound. My room was next to the commons (breakfast part). So, without sound proofing, you hear everything going on out there. Bed fairly comfortable, plumbing needs updating. But not a bad stay for a sports tournament.

Very accommodating for my needs. Breakfast was not my favorite but I am a very picky person. Rooms were clean are nice. Bathroom shower was my favorite , water pressure was excellent. For the price I said I did pretty good.

Hotel room was clean and cozy. Had enough room to play pool and see friends for my bf's birthday. Made it much easier for everyone to come to us so we didn't have to make several stops over the weekend to see everyone! The two guys at the front desk, Drew and Weston were polite and quick to help us no matter what we needed!

I really enjoyed the friend staff. They are friendly and got things done in a timely manor when asked for help.
There could be improvement in keeping trash contains cleaned on the outside of the containers, some of the gaming machines were out of order as was one pool table, all in all it was a very good place to stay.

I guess it escaped me this was an old style “drive to your door” Motel. I am solo so the security of an exterior door troubles me
The young man who checked me in was so accommodating
I still did not grasp it was a climb upstairs - he was able to change me to ground floor room
Although it was “older” renovations were nice felt clean. It did not have beat up door casings etc
I could not use the shower as the flourescent light did not work. I am older and cannot climb over bathtub in low light my balance is off a little and standing and turning was concern-I did not want to end up falling.
My daughter found this room online and she went by cost.
I do need to manage my money so she felt the cost was good. I usually book with a certain company and it does cost more but I know the layout of the building(s).
Room rate for this room was fair.

The Auburn Place is the Place to Be
We stay at hotels for travel and pleasure often. The Auburn place has an indoor pool, pool table, arcade games and more! They also provide a delicious breakfast in a beautiful common area. Additionally, they are centralized amongst numerous restaurants. For the price, plus the amenities, I recommend this hotel for families, couples and business alike.

Facility was very well kept, decent breakfast, nice pool etc. we had 2 dogs and being on second floor without an elevator was an inconvenience. Will definitely request downstairs room next time. Otherwise great stay.

Decent stayover
I had booked an interior room but we got there late and were given an exterior room. I don't like exterior rooms. That being said the room was nice, hardwood type floors which makes sense to me. I think the interior of the hotel would be nice but didn't see it. Beds and room were comfortable and clean. We left too early for breakfast, so no idea on that. Would stay there again provided an interior room.

Id stay here again. This hotel isn't brand spanking new and modernized but it is in good condition and very clean. I'll take clean over modern any day. Was also very quiet diring the night, which is rare at a hotel. I liked the little courtyard area you could see from above, and the fountain and gazebo are so charming. I hope they don't rip it all out and try to update it.

We were pleased with the hotel, greeting & room. It was clean & comfortable. The mattress & box springs were dated & too soft but otherwise we had a nice stay. This worked well especially traveling with our dog.
