Not the worst I’ve ever stayed at, but close.
Came into a non-smoking room that smelled a like smoke. AC was blasting and the window was open to (I can only guess) air out the room. OK, I guess. It can happen. Then the TV remote doesn’t work. It turns on the TV and increases the volume- but nothing else. OK, I have an iPad, I can watch on my iPad. At least the bed was comfortable. Next morning take a shower and go to reach for a towel. First one. Stained. Second one. Stained. Third time was the charm.
Went to the front desk later that afternoon and no apologies just a “would you like fresh towels?” Why, yes. Yes I would. One of those towels was also stained.
Finally after night 2 came I came back from a morning walk and found ants. That was it for me. Time to check out two nights early.
The manager at check out was very nice and apologetic, but it was one thing too many for me to continue staying there.

It was ok. Never received a receipt for our stay the internet only worked one evening. Beds and pillows were comfortable. An ok stay. Had to ask for housekeeping on day 3 They brought fresh towels and remade the beds but didn't empty garbages. Probably won't return

Still waiting to hear what my extra $74 charge was for our one night stay. We paid through Expedia, then they scanned my card for a deposit. 4 days latter and 300 miles away that charge changed from pending to posted. So feels like I paid for this room twice. Property has not gotten back to me yet..

Expansive property 3 separate buildings made it inconvenient at times when issues arise! Lobby was far from building we occupied! Coffee ☕️ pot would have been a favorable option.

I would not typically stay at Travelodge, but this one is the exception. The property is clean and quiet, located up on the hill with the "nicer" named hotels.
The interior is basic, but the room was clean, quiet, and functional: a/c, coffee, micro, fridge, plenty of hot water, tv had lots of channels.
The one thing missing is USB ports.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
I was traveling with my two teenagers. We felt safe and comfortable.

Staff was friendly and helpful. I was given a meal coupon for the little diner that they shared a parking area. That was convenient for meals. My room was clean and neat. I am very simple and spartan and don’t need tons of amenities. I was there for 4 days for state business. Room prices were reasonable.

The outside of the property is really worn and looks tired.
The inside of the rooms were clean but the curtains were old and the heater inside didn’t keep an accurate temperature. I guess for the price it was a fair value.

We’ve had not so great experiences with Travel Lodge’s in the past but the prices in Yuma were very high and this hotel was very reasonably priced. I read the past reviews and they were all very good so thought we’d give it a try.
They were right!
So happy we took the chance.
No frills but everything was clean and comfortable..
new king bed was great too!
Will stay again in a heartbeat!

Comfortable stay
Great location. Room is clean. Gave us a very convenient room for my handicap husband. Safe area and neighborhood. Stayed 4 nights and our room hasn’t been cleaned. Found out you have to request which is new to me. No more coffee in the room. Ice maker not working.

First, the staff was very friendly and super helpful. We had just drove 6 hours and she let me check in a but earlier. They also upgraded us to a king room. The bed was very comfy and the room was clean except for the carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed but maybe they just need a new vacuum lol the shower pressure was relaxing. Overall i would stay again

Two story. No elevators. Clerk should have told us that when we checked in. King bed was not good and no light or nightstand on one side of the bed. Will not stay here again.

Lots of restaurants near by within walking distance. Although it is a pet friendly hotel it smelled clean and fresh. Staff are friendly and polite. We would stay here again.

Great desk help but no pool as advertised
The girls up at desk were friendly and pleasant. I asked about where the pool was and she told me they removed pool about a month ago but haven't updated it on there website. So my autstic son was pretty upset. Then i found a spider the size of a quarter on lamp frame. The beds were a little stiff for our comfort.

This used to be the Oak Tree Inn and we stayed at this property 1-2x per year and was never disappointed in anything. This is now Travelodge and we did not realize or were informed that there is no longer a pool (it's been filled in with dirt) & that was the nicest plus to this property after a long day driving. The biggest PITA on this stay was the outside door lock did not work and our room was just inside that door, which meant that we had to go to the opposite end of the hall just to get in the bldg and walk to the farthest end for our room. This was a huge frustration as my husband is a disabled vet and walking long distances is not easy. I had to go to the office 3x to get "new" keys when they knew the door was not working but made it sound as if they didn't know why the cards weren't working. We would have appreciated honesty instead of hearing the door was broken from guests who've been staying there a few days prior to us arriving. We cancelled our reservation for our return trip & are very disappointed that it isn't the hotel we've lived to stay at the past 9 years.😟

My complaint is the lack of a pool when, at the time of reservation, one was advertised. The staff on site pointed the finger at Expedia and did nothing about it. Also the facility and room had poor ac. The ice machine was spitting snowflakes and needed replacement. The entry door to the hallway and room had defective key card devices which made it a chore getting around. Horrible stay and will not be using Expedia again unless they accommodate the false advertisement of the pool. It was 115 in Yuma. Ac and pool would have been nice.

Our tv didn’t work. Kept saying “no signal”. Called the front desk for 10 minutes and couldn’t get anyone to answer the phone. People above us sounded like a heard of elephants which I was also going to complain about but couldn’t reach the front desk!

Door was on inside. Receptionist failed to mention that. Bed had sheet on it. Blanket on coat rack (no closet) and no comforter. Really scaled down accommodations for the price. Disappointing!

I have stayed here many time, this will be the last. Terrible staff bedding was so old and shabby no extra pillows. Staf very uninvolved in there job. Don't book this place if you want any kind of service. It's a shame.

Liked the location. Did not like that they only gave you one washcloth and hand towel per room. Had to keep going to the front desk for more. Friends at same motel had same experience. Key worked intermittently at one door. Had to go around to other door at times.

The hotel was clean and quiet. Comfortable beds, in-room coffee pot, microwave, fridge and hair dryer. Location has you close to everything. Check in was easy. I arrived later than expected and had called earlier to let them know. When I arrived it was fast and easy even at the late hour. I would stay again.

Worst stay ever. Watch your credit card!
At check in they informed us our room wasn’t paid so they took our credit card and then I showed them our receipt from hotels app and they told us they charged the wrong room and then had to reverse the charge and didn’t even apologize Then we went to the room which was the one building that had no outside lights and I walked in the room and had to use the only washcloth and walk around the room and clean what appeared to be FECES! And I found the rest of the room to be filthy We we’re too tired to call the front desk and I don’t sense they would have cared anyway !

Room was not ready for an on time check in. Staff were very rude about it as well when we tried to check in. Room was dirty when we finally got in. Bathroom floor looked like it had not been swept/mopped in awhile. We were only given 1 wash cloth in the room for a party of 2. Only one blanket as well for 2 beds. One of the days only one of our beds was made and half the room cleaned. Not that this was a big deal to us but if your going to do some you better do it all.

We didnt know what to expect but the hotel was very nice. It was clean and comfortable which are the top two priorities for me. Some of the reviews were actually pretty nit-picking. Yes the towels could be softer but not a big deal. The room looked like it was recently renovated and decor was very nice. No breakfast. The rooms are in separate buildings so be sure and get good directions to your room

Friendly front desk staff that had us checked in fast. Well kept grounds, extremely clean rooms, fridge, microwave, coffee, amenities, comfortable beds, gym, pool... just an all around great hotel for a bargain price. There is also a fifties-style diner at the property that serves pretty good food. Within short walking distance to other restaurants and stores. Thank you Travelodge!

Can't complain about the staff and service but... TV was not working. No one there to fix as we checked in around 10:30. Someone arrived later and couldn't fix the tv so we moved rooms.
Initial room was not clean. When I called the front desk, the phone was filthy; crumbs all over and there was a bottle cap on the floor underneath the ac/heater. Second room was better, but the faucet in tub dripped.

Check in was horrible. Front desk guy seemed to know very little. He charged us again for our stay (I had prepaid online through hotels.com already) so we had to ask for credit the next day at check out. That was a whole other headache of it’s own. Apparently their hotel charges again if you check in “the next day” 12:01 am they charge you. Weird! So beware if you book here and run into traffic and make it 1 min past midnight they will charge again for 2 days. We got our credit eventually. But no one wants to argue about this for 25 min with the manger when you have to get back on the road.

The bathroom had large urine stains on base of toilet bowl. Floor had dirt built up along baseboard, looked like it didn't get mopped often. Bathtub drain was clogged. Inner drape was hanging askew at one corner.

I would not stay there again. The bed was lumpy. The bathroom fixtures were in terrible condition. When you turned the water on the pipes came out of the wall. The shower water pressure was almost nothing. The tub and toilet were terrible looking. We were given only one face cloth and hand towel for two people.

I was not told, until I got there, that there was a door from the hallway into the room, as well as from the outside(opposite sides of the room). The door going to the outside did not ‘fit’ properly so I could see the sunlight coming through (Room 170) which means bugs could also come through. The bathroom floor was not cleaned, and the shower floor was pretty awful. The drain was pretty nasty and the stopper didn’t work. There looked to be mice droppings (I didn’t want to get too close) in the bathroom. The beds were clean but the floor did not seem to be vacuumed. There was a styrofoam bowl and fork in the desk drawer.

The staff at this location was very friendly and helpful even with our late check-in. The room itself was poorly cleaned!! The sheets had yellow stains all over and the carpet had sharp objects so be warned.

I was making a quick business trip in Yuma and was on a budget. Was pleasantly surprised. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean. 2 story buildings with rooms available for entering inside building as well.
No elevators. A/C worked great at 105 degrees. Close to restaurants, etc. Would stay again.

Overall room was decent, really good wifi & water pressure , bed EXtrememly firm . (which I dont prefer)however a/c sounded like a blender grinding metal everytime it stopped. Pool was closed I guess to be expected MAYBE. I never saw a maid the entire 4 days there. We had 4 days worth of take out trash piling up, so we took trash bag from ice room to place it in. Never saw new towels, bed never made. room never serviced at all.

You can do better...
No elevator. The hotel uses blue white energy efficient light bulbs resulting in a fluorescent colored light throughout the room. Towels were not changed during my two night stay. Shower stall was a fitted pop in style which resulted in issues with balance and leakage onto the floor. Cheap wall mounted tv.

I liked that the hotel was small but Vite and. Lean but they decided to charge me twice I told them o has reserved with Expedia and they still charged me twice. Then o went to complain with the manager and she said it was a deposit charge because we are staying 7 days, then the next day the charge was taken off then after checking in 3 days after the extra charge was made. I think that is unethical and they shouldn’t be doing that. We stayed there 7 days with no room service so we would clean and go for our towels and everything and for them to bathe us twice just because they want to is not fair.

I used to enjoy everything about staying here. My last stay I was booked into a dirty room in an unkempt part of the hotel, for what was supposed to be 3 days (had booked one night online and called to extend my stay) but staffing identify forgot(?!) to note that?

The water in the shower was so hot we could not wash our face & could barely stay in long enogh to finish shower. The staff did not attempt to resolve problem when informed. Only one hand towel was provided & there were no trash bag, drinking cups or sugar & creamer, housekeeping advised they had no more if thise items in stock. The tv would indicate an improper signal after apprx 15 minutes of viewing, staff was unable to fix.

We have stayed here several times in the passed with breakfast included. The hotel has discontinued offering breakfast which makes the hotel not competitive with others in the area.
Lack of enough blanks and bedding in the room is bad.
We will not be staying there again!

WRONG WYNDHAM HOTEL IN YUMA
THERE ARE TWO WYNDHAM HOTELS RIGHT NEXT TO EACH OTHER UN YUMA AZ. I ARRIVED (i PICKED THE WRONG ONE) AND THEY TOLD ME THAT I DID NOT HAVE A RESERVATION. I GOT A ROOM WITH THEM ANYWAY FOR TWICE THE PRICE OF THE ONE I HAD BOOKED. THEN AS IT TURNS OUT IT WAS THE WYNDHAM NEXT DOOR. SO, I HAD TO PAY FOR BOTH WYNDHAM HOTEL ROOMS!!! BE AWARE. I WAS NOT FROM YUMA AND HAD NO IDEA. I FELT SCAMMED.

Keep searching for better options.
Upon arrival, the check in clerk was outside the building. The building was evacuated due to a gas leak. So the check in was not the best. We asked for a 2nd floor room and the clerk said no. We went to the room and saw another room facing the parking lot and which had an outside door. We asked for a room change. The ckerk said no again. I finally had to walk back to the check in area and ask again. We finally got what we asked for. The property was not sold out and they had separate bldgs. The ice machine was in another bldg. The whole experience was not great. There were other choice hotels nearby.

We arrived and the front desk clerk said they did not have our room due to over booking. We had paid in advance and included the insurance, but ended with no room.
