Was not the greatest. Room was okay but everything needs a big update. The rooms rug was old and worn, bathrooms should be updated with walk in showers.
Only one elevator worked and there was a lot of people at the hotel.
Biggest concern is signs for the stairs should be better seen and more easily read for people, especially in case of a fire.
Will not stay again

The hotel was actually clean the problem I had was that it was also a shelter and it was informed to the guest when I was actually looking for a room also only one working elevator out of 2 a elevator that seemed like it would break down at anytime

This hotel is an excellent value. The rooms are modern, well appointed and quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is daily housekeeping. It is close to a major highway. There are a variety of dining options close by.

Decent place, comfortable bed.
Workout area nice, but restricted hours limit use. VERY rude cleaning personnel yelling at me for trying to work out just after hours expired. Very strange. Seemed rather emotionally challenged. Seriously detracted from overall experience at the hotel. Would likely NOT stay there again.

Clean and right off the highway with a lot of amenities near by. The only negatives
1. Only one working elevator which took forever. We used the stairs but it wasn't easy to figuire out. Its not a normal staircase by the elevator. Definitely not easy to navigate
2. Hot tub was out of service
3. Key cards wouldn't work to pool/room. Takes about 10 swipes to get it to work. At first, I figuired it was just me but a group of people who were staying there as well said their cards don't work either. Very temperamental
4. Only one person works front desk so if they leave, you have to wait for someone to return.
Overall I would stay again just because of the cleanliness

No frills hotel. A place to sleep and shower for a lower price. Restaurant wasn’t open (prob due to staffing/lack of business), one of the two main elevators were broken, hot tub was out of service and they mentioned would prob not be fixed.

This hotel was perfect for our Soccer Tournament stay. The front desk was friendly and helpful. The restaurant staff was also friendly and the food was decent. The bar was also a nice addition however they were a bit pricy $10 for a draft beer. They did have some good IPA options though! The room was clean and comfortable. I would for sure stay here again.

Every helpful staff, arrived late and was able to check in and into my room quickly. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Swimming pool area was really nice, would have liked to use the hot tub, but was out of service.

Hotel claims it is smoke free but the minute we got off the elevator on the second floor, it smelled of smoke. I feel like this hotel has gone downhill since changing from the Holidays Inn to the Clarion. Beds were comfortable and cleanliness was ok. Customer service was lacking.

This hotel is very convenient for us as our family is very close by. I would recommend this hotel to other travelers as it has everything you could possibly want - a huge gym a large pool a restaurant and is right off the major highway rt495.

One night stay for a sporting event early next morning. Asked for a quite room but was given a room facing high way. Traffic noise was noticeable at night. Decent clean facility could use some update.

Check in/out was quick and easy. Hotel room was nice and clean. My only issue were the pillows; incredibly flat with absolutely no shape or support even when folded in half. I woke up with neck pain. Even if they don’t get more supportive pillows, I’d come back to this hotel.

It was ok
There was no signage, got in late and couldn’t find the hotel. Pitch dark not a single sign. Turns out was under new management, still waiting on signs. Should hv put an under construction sign in the lobby so knew it wasn’t only Amazon!! Ridiculous! No lighting is a safety hazard as well

Affordable but dingy
Elevators had expired inspections. Pool area was rusty and full of dust.. Bathrooms in the rooms have no ventilation. The air conditioner really needs an update in the room because it was clogged with was clogged with dust and rusty. The Computer chair was torn and dirty. Tv's in the rooms should definitely be updated. There is a nice feel when you 1st walk into the location the location but the minute you get on the elevator and up to your room everything changes and feels very dated and dingy.

Tired hotel that was refurbished on a budget
While the Staff seemed very pleasant the overall hotel appears to feel and smell like an old hotel that was partially refurbished on a budget. The carpet was nauseating. The Fifth floor smelled like it was a smoking floor at one point 20 years ago and was never completely aired out. The furniture looks tired and repurpose. Lots of dings. Broken lamb shades. I appreciated that it felt clean enough to stay there but overall could use more effort.

Disappointing to say the least!
Planned to spend a couple days away with my son to relax. The room was clean and we had no issues there. However the main reason we chose this location was the pool & hot tub pictured in the photos. To start, the photos of the property are QUITE outdated to begin with. The hot tub has been broken for QUITE a long time as you will see in the attached photos. The pool is nice and heated however they also run a senior pool Physical therapy program during the day (Photos excluded for patient privacy). Our first trip to the pool found a full class in session, subsequent trips found several patients in differing points of their sessions. As one can imagine this does not create the fun poolside vacation experience you would expect for $200+ a night.

Great place for a couple of nights
Great place to stay, parking is tough. They have a back lot but i dont personally like my car being out of sight/out of mind for that long. Friendly staff and very clean. Was skeptical at first about the Clarion tag but it is a renamed Holiday Inn.

Check in was ok , only one person at the front desk. Came back to ask where the vending machines were waited for 7 minutes because the only person was on the phone and had to interrupt so he could say “2nd floor” - not enough signage regarding vending machines.
A/C in the room went out on our last night.
They charge 15 dollars for a below average breakfast. After I paid for it and tried to take it to my room the person in the restaurant said that I could NOT take it to my room which was ridiculous since I paid for it.
Front desk lady had to intervene and she got it resolved but she should NOT have ti intervene.
Elevator is perhaps the slowest elevator I have ever encountered.
Definitely not staying here again.

Paid for a four star hotel and didn't get it. No bar, restaurant, hot tub broke, no access to gym, no sauna. Double occupancy with one comfortable chair to sit in. Staff was very friendly, place is just not as advertised. A rip off.

This was a very nice hotel. getting to it was easy and very convent for my business needs. The parking lot and entrances could use some work as there were two very large pot holes that could easily damage a vehicle. I did not get to experience the amenities such as the pool, fitness room or any onsite dinning. My room was very clean and comfortable.

The lobby looked clean, the elevators are 2 years over due for inspection according to the certificate in the elevator. Rooms are dingy, stained and needing much attention. Beds are small doubles and SUPER hard. Website says there's a restaurant grill on site, it's a bar and we were told they weren't serving food when we went in. Bar was supposed to stay open until 10, it closed around 8. Signage for amenities are nonexistent. Over all we wouldn't stay here again.

I liked the convenience of the location for our tournaments and the pricing was inline with what I expected for the area. The hotel is extremely dated, the floor had bad stains that made the room feel dirty. Rips in the carpet. The desk was sticky. The towels were thin and cheap. I called down for extra because we had a two day stay without room service and none ever showed up.
A fire alarm was pulled because there was a prom in the hotel that night. We would not have picked the hotel if we knew there was a prom. After the alarm, the noise from the parties in the rooms were so loud. Kids were screaming. I cannot believe how long this went on without notice of the hotel. Just not a great experience overall. Especially after the fire alarm.

I was double charged for my stay and I had to point it out to the desk clerk. The bar and restaurant were closed for the entire stay (Friday and Saturday) and I don't know why. There was only one working ice machine for the 7 story building and it was located on the 6th floor.

Walk from parking lot. A lot of wasted space between doors & spots. And layout of spots poor.
Old school tiny TV and Loud fan on old heater/AC unit. Room clean but dated. Beds were in comfortable.

Free parking anywhere in the Boston area is great! Hotel was clean and spacious. My travel companions said the bed was a little firm for them but I slept very well. There’s no free continental breakfast, all options are paid, so be aware of that. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay again.

Gross and Unsafe
We were part of a larger group of 15 families with young girls. Immediately upon checking in, I noticed the ceiling in the lobby was warped and falling apart, with visible water damage to many of the ceiling tiles. I was horrified when the customers ahead of us in line asked if they could book the hotel for only 3 hours instead of the entire night.
I almost tripped on the rug in the hallway after exiting from the elevator - the carpeting either was not laid down properly, or is old and buckling and needs replacing.
I noticed that the elevator inspection certificate expired in 2020.
Huge dark stains on the rug in our hotel room.
Many people in our group complained about a strong odor of marijuana in their "smoke-free" rooms.
At one point during the night, a woman (who the hotel staff said LIVES in the hotel) banged on the door, threatening the young girls in our group. Hotel staff said they could not do anything about it.
This place needs updating.
If it's touted as "non-smoking" then hotel staff needs to actually make sure all of the rooms stay non-smoking.

Unfortunately we were there for a soccer tournament with our 13 year old daughters our hotel room smelled terribly like cigarette smoke and all our belongings ended up being covered in the odor we also had no hot water ... I did contact front desk they sprayed something in room but didn’t help but there were no other rooms... I read on website rooms for covid were cleaned thoroughly and left empty 24 hours before check in there was no way it smelled as if someone just put it out

Don't go there!
This place is the dumps where you have to pay premium fee - cigarettes smoke and weed smokers in hallways, dirty trash filled elevators, icky, yucky surfaces - They are egregious in charging rates as high as the one we paid! I will NEVER ever stay at Holiday Inn because of this experience! It is not surprising that this entire hotel chain is in the dumps!!!

Rooms are old and dated. We were on a Jon smoking floor yet the hallways smelled like stale cigarettes! Several stains on rug in room. The cot that was brought to us was all ripped on the bottom of the mattress and was very uncomfortable. Bed was uncomfortable as well! Hotel pool was closed as well as the bar!

Decent place to stay if you’ll be at a sporting event at Fore Kicks. The parking lot configuration is a little odd but manageable. Beds and rooms were very comfortable. Due to COVID, meals and options were very limited. Not worth the $220 I ended up spending per night but ideal location for us that weekend.

Many aspects of the hotel, with either out of service, broken, dirty, outdated. Corie was fantastic, although, that still doesnt exempt the owner or Holiday Inn from fixing, ice machines, installing new clean carpets, fixing the broken stuff in hotel.

This hotel is overrated. It did not live up to its ratings for us. The room smelled like smoke or mildew as did the hallways. The AC was loud but it did work well. The bathroom was small and needs to be updated. In general this hotel could use a refresh.

The outside was littered with trash. There was very little lighting in the parking lot. They had someone already checked in under my name. The desk personnel was very apogesric and helpful. There were lots of kids running around and yelling. The room smelled of marijuana coming through from the next room. We ended up just leaving.

My trip was less than usual. I have stayed here many times but things weren't as great. They have been closed because of covid so given that I would still say that this hotel is awesome. I love the amenities (that they use to have before covid) and it is clean and friendly. Highly recommended.

Frustrating
I checked in at 2:55 pm, official check in is 3pm. My reserved room was not available, I waited 30 minutes and still nothing. I had to setted checking into another room in order to get ready for my aunts funeral. I returned 3 hours later qnd had to pack up qll my stuff to move to another room. I've definitely had better experiences 😌

Walls are too thin. you can hear the guest talking on the room next door loud and clear that you would think they are in the same room as you. We change rooms in the middle of the night because we couldn’t sleep and this time was the tv. It was horrible.
