Our stay at the beachfront Lodge in January was delightful. The cozy room had a balcony with a breathtaking ocean view. The resort had an indoor pool and spa, which we truly enjoyed. We also had fun playing mini golf on-site. The Italian restaurant, Delfinos, was incredible. Overall, our experience at the resort was fantastic, leaving us with unforgettable memories.

maintained facilities and plenty to do. Dining options are good but helps if you have pre- booked .
Check in process was a bit long and not sure why! Absolutely cannot fault the 4 bed condo - it was spacious and well appointed - we would happily stayed longer!

Loved the staff and hospitality! Everyone from Anton, to Richard at Delfinos, to Ryan in the cart barn, to Kevin at the outside pool, to the cleaning crew, to the coffee shop, etc. What a GREAT family experience!

Horrible hotel
smells bad, rooms are old and expensive to be this bad customer services sucks . We booked check in and left that same day to another place because of how terrible this place is. Italian Restaurant food is good but expensive.

the villa we stayed in, 1213, was missing half of the kitchen supplies, there was alot of dirt marks on the walls and it smelled like dog (we do not have a dog)

We enjoyed our 4 day stay at this hotel. We had a nice time at the pool, enjoyed the sports bar and pizza restaurant, and loved having an ocean view. Some of the staff were absolutely amazing! The staff at the pizza restaurant & gift shop, the organizers of the Turkey Trot, the bartender at the sports bar - all great! However, at the coffee shop the workers gave preferential treatment to members of the community versus guests. A woman in line behind me got all 4 of her coffees before they even started in my order because she knew the baristas. Left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Thanksgiving dinner was overpriced and under delivered. The lazy river isn’t heated and was too cold to go in. Was also a bit confusing and Nickle/dimey how you can pay to reserve a beach chair, but don’t actually need to. I also thought the fitness classes were included with the resort fee and they were not which was disappointing. It was fine, I enjoyed time with my family but will probably book an all-inclusive next time as it overall left me wanting more.

Beautiful resort
The resort was beautiful and clean, staff friendly. The sofa bed we had for the kids was terribly uncomfortable though and I’m surprised there was no coffee maker in the room. Very impressed with the cleaning staff though, we didn’t know they’d be coming and we came back to our room to find all our clothes folded, room organized and little details like rolling up our chargers for us. It meant a lot! Made up for the no coffee and uncomfy sofa bed :)

Loved how close the beach was and the pools. Didn't like that I had to drive to 2 different places to check-in because the concierge was out. Also interesting there was a shooting in the parking lot less then 20 minutes after we arrived. Good thing we we're settled because no one was going anywhere.

The resort was beautiful, on the other hand the villa was subpar. The villa looked like the furniture was from a yard sale and not in the best condition. Advertised king beds, but only had full size. Would recommend the resort, but not to stay in the villas.

We come to Hammock Beach often. And for some reason we often get screwed with our room. This time they messed up our reservations and took very long time to fix- THEN they put us in a room that smelled so horrible! Sent someone in to clean but didn’t help. Claimed they had no other rooms (which the hotel was not full at all).
The resort service at the restaurants and pool bar was AWESOME!! But the front desk and room and management horrible. Honestly I was shocked they would put anyone in such a room it smelt so horrible!

Amazing place
This was a great place to relax right on the beach and all the amenities you could ever want. Amazing place with astonishing views of the ocean. Staff was great from the time you drive up until the time you check out. We will definitely be back soon.

The staff was so welcoming and helpful. Everyone we encountered was great. The property has a ton to offer - several different swimming pools. golf course, putt putt course, nightly activities, beach access, etc. We loved the ability to walk around the resort and have so many options. The rooms were a little dated but clean. I think a refresh of decor would be helpful. The only other thing I wisdh were different was that there are alot of rocks in the ocean in front of the resort, which makes getting out into the water a bit treacherous. This is not fault of the resort but worth noting. We definiitely had a great experience and plan to return. Denise in the Loogerhead bar was AMAZING!! We were celebrating our honeymoon, and she went above and beyond to make us feel special.

Don’t walk RUN RUN RUN from this hotel
The Lodge is OLD and dated!! For the price what you get for the money is beyond pitiful. Close to $800 spent for two nights to take a giant leap back in time. The walls are peeling, the elevator is a germ factory along with the carpet and cracked tiles in the room. Do yourself a favor and RUN from this hotel. It was probably nice 20 or more years ago but no longer.

Fun for the family
A great family resort, but not being kept up very well. The kids enjoyed the slide and all the pools and lazy river, putting course and bikes. The golf course is excellent. Needs to tighten up procedures and security at the bell station regarding golf clubs being left at bell station to be picked up by golf shop. All in all, a nice place though.

JUST BECAUSE ITS EXSPENSIVE DOESN'T MEAN IT'S NICE
We stayed in the Lodge (difficult to locate if you've never been there)
The room and hallway smells like an old dusty house with very old furniture with stains. I honestly couldn't believe they charge so much for so little. The restaurant service was so bad I walked out after15 mins of not being served. I watched others be seated and got served in a timely manner. I've never sat in a place and felt less than, so I got up and walked out. No one even asked why or tried to make it right. If I could've got my money back or even some of it, I would've left.

Nice location in severe need of an upgrade
The best thing this place has going for it is its marketing. The place is worn down and the staff not even close to being trained at a four star level. The room was in very bad shape, similar to the putt putt course and the non-working lights around the palm trees. I could go on and on but I'll just say to temper expectations.

It’s the little things…
This hotel could be 5 star if only someone was paying attention to detail. Housekeeping left out soap, coffee, and towels. Ice water was hard to come by quickly even though temps were high 90’s. Italian restaurant had a rude manager, a spotty dress code, and very little pasta. A routine fire drill was handled very badly by management.

The resort has a lot to offer with multiple restaurants and dining options. One thing I did not enjoy was the lack of lounge chairs in the large pool area. Guests had to line up before 9am (when pool area opened) to try and get a lounge chair by the pool. If you tried coming later on, there was NO place to sit as once guests placed their belongings on the very limited number of chairs available, they did not move until a storm came in late afternoon or they left for the day. If you did not want to wait in line at 9am, you had to pay an extra $15 per lounge chair which is also not a great experience after already paying for your hotel and resort fee.

Please don’t waste your money and stay elsewhere. For a room to be over $300 a night needs a lot of upgrades. The room is so outdated, the refrigerator barely worked and let’s not talk about the nasty smell. Housekeeping it’s advertised but not provided even if you requested. You have to beg them for clean towels and things like ice and be ready to wait hours for them to bring them. We ran out of toilet paper so we ended up buying some than ask and wait hours. Save yourself the trouble!

If you’re going to spend the day at the pool you’ll want to get down there early to get a chair. Some areas of the building are showing a bit of wear, but not enough to impact our stay. The pillows were so large I had to use the accent pillows from the couch to sleep on! The cleaning staff threw away my notes on activities to do in town when they cleaned the room. That was disappointing. We didn’t let them in the room to clean after that. Otherwise all good. We would visit again.

Disrepair of property, filthy pool, large rocks in ocean, unfriendly staff, inability to get reservations at restaurants, loud noise from refrigerator in room, and icemakwr across hall, no room service, being accosted by security guard to reenter property. Overall, this was our worst experience at a hotel of any kind.

Beach was closed . No notice until I showed up . Key didn’t work to
room. Fridge door wouldn’t shut had to put a chair against it . Ac vent dripped on me while sitting on the sofa . I had friends that called because they knew what was going on and they kept getting hung up on. I just went to relax and take a break and it was awful. Left the next day even though I booked a 2 night stay. Carpet was dirty in some areas. No room service. My Ocean view room was actually a parking lot view then a peak of the ocean .

This was such a pleasant surprise! I wanted a fun place for the kids for a couple days and this property delivered! We spent our days by the pool, dining (several options ), playing putt putt, and walking the beautiful property… Also napping in our big, comfy room! Highly recommend. Great variety of equipment in the gym and was able to book a spa service next day. This hotel is great.

While the grounds are beautiful over looking the ocean, the room was fair for the price. Not enough cook wear (old and unusable) or dishes, coffee pot left dirty. Bathrooms need some repair. It would be nice to have more activities on the property, some type of local farmers market, live music (not a one person organ player), etc.
If you golf this is probably a great place. This is definitely a one and done for me.

This resort was truly a 5 star 🌟 and the staff was so friendly specially at the Italian restaurant that my kids gave the food and waiter a 5 diamond. I have shown my family videos and pictures and already we are planning another vacation next month. This is truly a hidden gem 💎

Room was old and needed update. There was a smell in the closet that transfered to our clothes that we noticed after we got home. The view from the balcony was excellent of the ocean and grounds which were well maintained. At the time, there was no room service or room cleaning service because of COVID restrictions and no direction concerning trash removal. Overall property is in decline.

The hotel was nice. We had a villa a decent walk from the hotel amenities. There’s a shuttle that will pick you up. They say 5 minutes it’s always a longer wait but a nice touch. Food is the price you expect from a resort $$$$. We had ants ALLLL over the house. Told we were getting a credit for the hassle had to throw away food but haven’t seen any credit yet. They sprayed only the kitchen but again they were everywhere, bedrooms bathrooms. Everyone was very nice, manager that called was nice but again not sure why they only sprayed the kitchen, I sent video of them all over. Kids loved the pool slide, Overall a nice stay minus the ants. Neighbors checked in a day after and were so loud it hindered the stay but that is not the hotels fault. In the villas you can hear your neighbors no matter where you are. Not likely to return to the villas, nicer hotels on the beach for less in florida.

Waited an hour and twenty minutes for sheets for the bed where our toddler was sleeping. Had to call front desk 5 times and go down in person twice before we got the sheets and they ended up being too small. It was a nightmare and the management didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience. Our kid went to bed 2 hours past his bedtime and no one at the hotel even cared enough to say sorry. It was awful. Night ruined and next day ruined. NOT worth $500 /night.

Fun hotel
The pools were the highlight of the hotel. Pizza and gelato restaurant was great. In order to get a pool chair you pretty much need to put a towel on it right when it opens. Other thing to note is that check in is not “guaranteed” at 4. There was no apology made. We had to wait until after 5. Overall, it was a good place to stay for vacation.

Lovely Property With Great Staff
This is so tough to write because this property is beautiful and amazing BUT we had such a mixed experience. The absolute BEST of this stay was the amazing staff. We especially had such incredible service from Cindy and Larissa in the cafe each morning. Our very first encounter was with Yulia, who greeted us and checked us in. She is amazing and should teach customer service to others. I feel she went above and beyond for us. I accidentally left a pair of expensive earrings on my bathroom counter one morning. When I returned, the young man who cleaned our room had moved them to clean and had laid them on a fresh washcloth afterwards. How refreshing to have such an honest employee! We stayed in the lodge so my next comments relate to the lodge only. I cannot speak to the tower guest rooms. Our first room was totally unsatisfactory. I inquired the next morning about moving. We were able to move to another room for the next four nights. That room also had issues but we chose to stay there. Lovely rooms with beautiful bathrooms. However they do not have great lighting and one of our main lamps did not work and the stopper in the bathroom was broken. Neither issue was resolved while we were there. Upon checkout it was explained to me that each unit has a private owner so they couldn’t just swap out a lamp. Simon was kind to give me a credit on some room charges and apologize for our discomfort. Disappointing recycling.

I didn't get the ocean view room I reserved. The hotel said it was Hotels.com/Expedia's fault. We had a view of the dumpsters and top of an event tent. No one in the management seemed to care. With the exception of the beach front guy, everyone at the hotel seemed very unhappy/uncaring about working there. No way is it a 4 start hotel!

The wedding portion was outstanding, but other part,not so much. The room was nice, but when it came to actual cleaning, wasn't done. They made the bed, but didn't take out the trash, they gave clean towels, but left the dirty ones on the floor. The key didn't work and had maintenance try and fix it twice. Towels were not soft at all. Food was good but pricey.

Everything else was awesome but there was a banging noise coming into the bathrooms from a flap on a pipe in the wall the maintenance man said and there was nothing they could do about it. He said room 319,419, 519 and all the way up to the top floor was that way, so just be warned.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom ocean view condo - very clean and comfortable. Full kitchen. Publix just down the road for essentials. Had a delicious dinner in the Atlantic Grill, good pub food in Loggerheads, and tasty pizza on site. The kids loved the pool complex and the indoor pool when it was chillier at night. We were lucky that the weather was warmer than usual for February, it got into the 80’s every day, but the week before was told it was only in The 60’s, so if u are going to swim, maybe wait til March or April.

In the 16 years I've been here this was by far the worst room (714) with stained carpet and worn and mismatched furniture. Balcony chairs broken and dirty. No quality control. Restaurants were improved. The front entrance was closed for construction which was inconvenient. During our check out our keys were turned off before a bellman arrived. What happened to this place? We spent thousands here over 3 weeks and will have to rethink future stays.
