Perfect walking distance to the market
Nice and affordable hotel with really pretty views. We wanted a place to stay that was close enough to walk to Pike’s Place and the concert venue we had tickets to and this was perfect! Not sure about bringing our kids to stay as there is a lot of homelessness and we witnessed a lot of people on drugs or doing drugs while we walked around…not the hotels fault, more of a city issue. We felt safe in the hotel though.

Bobby was such a gentlemen and made Christmas brunch a delight. Great location, close to our venue. Parking is spendy @ $55 a night at rhe hotel. Seattle sneaky fees are getting out of control.

Lovely stay
The Hilton Motif was a wonderful stay. The hotel is clean, the employees very caring and accommodating. We were helped with directions and information on the city from the staff. We had problems with the temperature of our room and maintenance came twice to reset the heating. We were offered a different room but we were leaving early the next morning so would have been more trouble than it was worth. We spent some time with blankets and coats until it was fixed. Upon checking out, we were given a refund of some of the resort charges so overall a happy result.

Very friendly staff and clean rooms. The only issue I ran into was the heater would not go higher then 71 degrees, not sure if thats how its set up. Overall really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here agian.

I like this hotel, location is key, restaurant (Elephant &Castle) below is open until 2am (on Saturday) which is handy for winding down after concerts and such, I was really hoping for a the rooftop (outdoor) to be open, fire pit wasn’t on. It’s November, I know, but I was hoping for the rooftop vibe. Staff was fantastic! Thanks for a great stay, I will be back.

I thought the property was nice. The homeless and drug problem in the area is bad, but this felt safer than other hotels in the area. The room was spacious and well kept. Mostly, it was comfortable.

Temperature control
Everything was great, only complaint I have is that the room was very cold for my liking. I did bring it to the attention of the hotel and they came and checked on it and said that I just had to be patient for the temperature to go up but it never did. It was 66 in my room most of the time I was there.

This was a mess from the beginning, the tv didn't work most of the time, then the remote didn't work took a day to get a new one, the parking garage gate was broken, homeless people staying in the garage that were very scary to my son, the staff knew nothing about the area, and roomservice never answered their phone, the bar tenders were very rude

The great thing was that the property was very convenient to Pikes Market and the mall was close by. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The hotel also has a restaurant on property which was nice, but the service was a little slow.

Very poor experience. No air conditioning and we asked for a fan which did not get provided. Called many times to front desk for assistance with no response. Very expensive parking. 70 dollar charge extra.

DIDN'T GET THE ROOM WE BOOKED! Booked a room for a birthday weekend for a group of 5 adults/ teens. Chose the room with 2 queen beds plus sofa bed advertised as sleeping 6 people. When we arrived, we were told that room wasn't available and we were being "upgraded" to a better room. Problem? The upgraded room only slept 4, with one queen bed and a sofa bed, so we had 3 people that had to share the sofa bed. The ONLY reason I booked this hotel was because of their availability of a room that fit 6 people. I don't care how much better the view was from the upgraded room. Does me no good if we can't fit our entire party in the room. Talked to Expedia, they wouldn't give any refund, told me I have to talk to the hotel directly. Really disappointing.

It was an amazing stay. My only complaint was I did not know that parking was an extra like $60 a night... usually parking is included but that is my fault for not reading the fine print when booking. Besides that the staff was excellent, the rooms were beautiful, and the stay was great! I definitely will be staying again! Perfect spot .. only a 10 minute walk to the pier

HVAC Doesn't Work
This is a very basic hotel. The staff were nice, but I was moved between three rooms because the thermostat didn't work. The warmest it would get was 64, so I had to use the hair dryer as a space heater. Also no room service, and initially no wash cloths in my room. The shower was nice though.

My experience is somewhat jaded due to the fact that I dealt with the front desk, management, and their engineers about the A/C in my room, over and over my entire stay. Never fixed, several visits from an engineer who only seemed to know how to reset the air conditioner in the ceiling. It was extremely frustrating and luckily it was cool outside and my room finally got down to 71 about 11:30 PM. Fan blowing the whole time, never cold.
Just a frustrating experience that they couldn’t fix, and didn’t move us earlier in the day to a room that worked. Don’t know what else to say….

The hotel and room was very nice. Great in house bar and restaurant, with another unaffiliated pub in the same building as the hotel. The hotel is centrally located with easy access to many popular local attractions.
Where they lose points is on housekeeping. We had to call to insure the room was made up, otherwise it would not have been. When it was, they took our towels away and did not replace them with new towels. We had to call and have them delivered. The guy who brought us the towels didn't seem very happy about having to do it either. The housekeeping staff had trouble knowing the difference between regular and decaf coffee. When we arrived the in-room coffee service was all decaf, we had to call to have them bring us regular caffeinated pods and creamer (there was no creamer either). They brought us 2 regular pods and 4 more decaf. By the time we left there 9 decaf pods there. Details like this lose you points. The staff needs some coaching and training.

My husband and I had to share a towel I don’t like to bother service when I informed we were 4 staying!! We had only 3 Towels in the room.
Also I was not in formed/ or the fine print must have been super small when booking my hotel that there would an additional fee when checking in for my vehicle to be parked at the hotel. (Not included with our stay)

Quite basic. Gave me the room next to elevator so that sucked. No in room menus.. i know everything is via phone but id like to look at a paper menu still. The gentleman at the concierge counter was new to Seattle and didn't know where anything was.. my Wi-Fi connection kept coming in and out. The IT guy came and fixed it and then it still was not working. The front desk lady told me they are getting it fixed in two days. Which she said does not help my case. Super shoddy Wi-Fi. The best thing is location I guess.

The staff are great, the rooms are poorly designed. First, the bathroom doors have 6' x 2' frosted glass panels so that anyone going to the bathroom at night will wakeup any other occupant(s). Second, the shower drains don't work well, resulting in water running across the bathroom floor. Third, we had a room that shared a wall with the fitness facility so people working out with weights made a huge racket. I would not stay at this property again and suggest you don't either. Try the Sheraton that is a block away.

Let’s see…shower leaked all over bathroom floor, they did not clean my room, parking gate did not work, shall I go on? Almost $500 per night with parking for a 4th floor room in this crappy hotel. I would not recommend or see stay again. Used to stay here frequently back in 2015, 2016. Gone way down hill much like the rest of downtown Seattle.

This hotel was fine- adequate. The check in was beyond fantastic and I cannot say enough positive things about the staff that checked us in.
There was nothing special about this hotel but it was clean and in a convenient location.
The service at the restaurant was awful- in using our drink tickets (which we paid for as part of the daily hotel fee) the waiter was rude, acted annoyed, threw our wine on the table, served a warm beer and never brought a glass as requested. When we mentioned his behavior, he came over and said he was “sorry about whatever”.
Again, clean and adequate- a bit expensive for what you get.

4 in a room for Taylor Swift weekend
Taylor Swift concert goer, summer of 2023. So busy downtown, Hilton Motiff was a small little slice of peace in an otherwise crazy busy city. Check in was a breeze, however with 4 staying in our room, we had to ask for more towels, only 2 of everything. Rooms are clean and newly appointed. Lots of charging space. Do not like barn doors on the bathroom, not enough privacy although trendy. Also loved the breakfast menu at the 5th floor restaurant, coffee and lattes were delicious.

I booked a double Queen room 8 months before our stay. The check in staff was great but when we got to our room, there was only one bed. I called the front desk and the woman was super rude. She said they were out of double Queen rooms and there was nothing she could do and “I’m not going to change my answer.”
Nobody told us there would be one bed. They weren’t going to even refund part of the room since we didn’t get what we paid for until I asked.

Nice area close to all of the attractions BUT the homeless and addicts are sprinkled across the landscape and need to be removed from the tourist attractions. The waterfront is good though and this hotel in only 5 blocks, but you will SEE A LOT OF ZOMBIES ON THE WAY !!!!

I turned off the air condition over night and the next morning my room had a really strong smell. Like old cat pee.
Also "City view" means your room is facing next door's building wall. So you can't see anything outside your window.

I booked a room with two queen beds for one night. The room only had three towels. When I called for an extra set, they said it would come, but never did. Also, after paying for the room in advance through Expedia, there was no mention that the already exorbitant price did not include a $55 parking fee. Mind you that is for one night (literally only a few hours). That is a ridiculous price to add to your checkout time fees. I will never use this property again!

Expected higher quality for the price!
Following the initial shell shock of prices at this hotel (eg. $50/nt parking PLUS TAX..!), we finally just accepted the fact that every item and every service was twice as much as listed.
Food and prices were a surprise as well.
None of the dishes we ordered matched the description - quantity or qualty.
Perhaps because we were with a large group, service was extremely slow and indifferent.
The toilet never flushed well and was reported.

A nice property, but some issues with my stay. Iron was defective, as was ironing board. Restaurant was unable to offer hot meals because of equipment breakdown. Hotel shop had little selection--for example, no antacids. Check-in was very lengthy because of an Exoedia-Hilton communication error.

I made my reservation online and didn't realize the check-in time was 4 pm. I arrived at 2:30 and they told me the room was almost ready. They said I could go to lunch and it should be ready afterwards. I went to lunch, returning at 3:30. The room was still not ready. I told them I had a business meeting at 4 and they said it should just be a few minutes. At 10 till 4 I left my bag with the bellman and went to my meeting, without being able to get in my room first. I feel 4 pm is an unreasonable checkin time, but I'll take some of the blame for that. The room was prepad since I booked on a travel site, and after checking out they charged my credit card for tax and a $20 destination fee. I wish they would just be up front with the true cost of the room and not add on some fee just intended to increase the cost of the room without disclosing it in their internet pricing.

It was overall good
Overall it was good - The air conditioner did not work good and even thought thermostat was set to 66 it did not get under 70. I did not really like the fact that they charge 20 to make you spend money on site to get 10 back - kind of weird. Also got a charge on my credit card ($24.74) on our last night there - not really sure what that was for and why it was charged separately - but they said they would reverse it, so we shall see. But overall a good place to stay - not too far from everything we wanted to do & we liked everything we had at the restaurant.

This hotel had very friendly staff. It was close to Pike Market and very convenient for walking. I had requested a high room and didn’t get it. The biggest negative was only 2 of 4 elevators were working. We could hardly get one to take us down to the lower floor and had to take 7 flights of stairs to get to the lobby. If you have walking issues, make sure they have them repaired before staying.

My room was never cleaned out of the 4 days I stayed here and they charged my room for something I didn’t even pay for/attend. Although the gentleman named Kyler fixed this issue it was annoying. Kyler helped me when I first checked in and he’s amazing! Very professional! Overall, it was an okay experience staying here.

We stayed 4 nights. The room decor is a modern, clean look. The bed comfortable and having a loveseat is a nice touch. Large screen TV. The black out curtains made it easy to sleep in. The hotel restaurant, Frolick, was convenient for some of our meals and evening cocktails. There is also an English-style pub in the basement. The only thing I did not like were the small pillows (not even standard size) but was provided a couple of larger pillows on request.

The walk-in shower door didn't seal, resulting in a flooded bathroom floor. We used up all our towels mopping up. Thankfully, the front desk moved us to another room for our 2nd night without question. Breakfast at the restaurant was very slow due to staff shortage, food was good tho pricey. A major irritation is the "destination fee" of $20/day is tacked on to bill, with the gimmick that it entitles you to $10 spending credit at the very limited lobby snack store.
