40th Anniversary getaway!
My husband and I decided to come up for our 40th Anniversary. Our stay here was wonderful. Everyone on the staff was very polite and very helpful. Thank you all for a very memorable trip.

This property met our needs for a one-night stay. We wanted to visit some wineries in Afton during our trip back from Cincinnati, and the Comfort Inn in Waynesboro was convenient and comfortable. It was also a good value considering several hotels in Charlottesville were either booked or had elevated rates due to the VA Tech vs. UVA game that weekend.

Nice hotel near Blue Ridge Parkway
This is a very nice hotel that is close to many restaurants. Easy on and off interstate access as well. Close to the Blue Ridge Parkway which brought us to this area. Large clean rooms. Good hot and cold breakfast. Wonderful staff as well with easy checkin

Clean and just what we was expecting.
This hotel was very nice. Check-in was quick and easy. Staff was very friendly. Room was everything we needed. Nothing elaborate but all was in working condition and clean. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

While the bathroom sink, tub, and toilet were clean, the water stayed luke-ish warm the first night. My sister, who recommended this hotel had a chat with the front desk the next day about the water temperature in our room. Someone did address the situation bringing the water temperature up to tolerably warm.
The tiles on the bathroom floor were loose and the grout severely discolored in places.
Although the room looked relatively clean, it didn't smell clean and there was some sort of weird organic smear on the shear curtain that we couldn't help but see was disturbing.
A quick lift of the mattress cover to check for evidence of bed bugs showed a on quick glance no evidence of bedbugs but the mattress corner was soiled with I don't want to know.
Would not recommend this property to anyone and very likely will never stay at this chain again.

Property presented clean and well maintained on arrival. Grounds well groomed. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We arrived quite early and the staff checked us in and gave us our room keys so we could walk right into the cleaned room immediately after returning from lunch.
Room was very clean and nicely appointed, unpretentious and welcoming.

Overall good stay at the property. The price was excellent. Lots of restaurants nearby. Room was big and clean. Breakfast was pretty good. Some items were a little cold, but there was a good selection: eggs, sausage, waffles, biscuits and gravy. One negative: there was no blackout curtain, and I was kept up by lights from parking lot coming into room at night. This could be easily fixed.

Excellent hotel for the price point! Staff was extremely friendly from check in, one of the housekeepers, check out, and breakfast bar. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast bar had a great selection. We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the beginning of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Close proximity to several restaurants as well. Would absolutely recommend staying here, and will most likely stay here again when we come back up this way.

Everything about this hotel was good with the exception of a very strong aroma in the room. It smelled like someone had spilled cologne or something. We turned the fan on the air condition unit on and propped the door open for a while and that helped.

The property is a little old. There are stains and other signs of wear throughout the facility. The staff that work the desk and manage the hotel are very kind. The two ladies who staff the cafeteria are great. The housekeeping crew, particularly Christina do a nice job once you tell them what you expect. I would stay here again. The location was very convenient to my destination.

The property and entry at check in was fine and the staff were very friendly and professional but once we had our room (107-handicapped room with King) we were immediately hit upon entry at the door with a thick musty almost moldy scent in the atmosphere of the room! if it weren't for being the last available room on the property (and I made reservations days in advance) we would have left. Otherwise all else went well. I did notify the front desk personnel of the issue.

We had a block of rooms reserved and had to change the reservations due date change. This resulted in a couple of our people having to cancel. Staff was very helpful in adjusting our reservations.
On the bad side you could smell that the room we had was previously smoked in. A fresh coat of paint and new carpets may get rid of that smell.

Decent place in Waynesboro
The place is strategically located in Waynesboro, just off of I-64 exit 94 and close to a lot of restaurants, 2 of which are walking distance. We liked the hot breakfast unlike some hotels that only offers continental or to-go. There are items that would probably need changing like bedside clock and finicky TV remote but those are minor stuff.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was easy to find off the highway, but we didn't hear any noise from the highway during the night. There are several restaurants nearby for dining. The breakfast was excellent. The only negative was that the room smelled a little musty. But if we kept the room at about 70 degrees, we could not smell the mustiness.

The bathroom floor was disgusting, literally a pile of dirt and trash in every corner as well as stuff stuck to the floor. Blackout curtains did not close properly. The bed spreads had grease stains on them. Bath towels were stored on dusty, dirty shelves near the disgusting floor. Breakfast was ok but the server who was replenishing the food was unkempt and shoveling food into the serving containers using mixing bowls that who knows if they were cleaned. Staff was kind and courteous. I did not get bed bugs or sick. This property could be very nice if they did a better job managing it and taking care of the little things.

Short trip from Colorado
The hotel staff were amazing and the breakfast was great. There was only one day in which my room was never cleaned which was on 7/22. The inside of the toilet under was pretty nasty other than that everything was great. Room was very spacious and so was the bathroom.

We had a 2 night stay and we were pretty satisfied with our stay. The power did go out for several hours which made the room pretty hot for quite awhile but otherwise we enjoyed our stay. The bed and bedding was so comfortable and the hotel felt fairly modern and updated. Would stay again when in Waynesboro area.

The maid needed to finish her job, the foyer and bathroom did not look like it had been swept or vacuumed. the lamps could have been dusted. Other than that everything was good. Except I did not get a receipt. And i did not receive one in my email.

Great stay! Amenities were great, bed was comfortable, gym had what was needed, breakfast options were excellent and the dining area clean. The only thing I had issue with is that the room darkening shades didn’t close in the room I was in so the parking lot lights were an issue all night. I would go back and stay there again, just not in a room looking out at the parking lot.
