Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Our room flooding from pipe bursting and they tried to blame us. Calvin is the most unprofessional manager and multiple people staying were complaining about how rude he is. Would never recommend anyone stay here if you engage to be treated nicely

It's an old hotel, and my room was super quiet and clean. . The staff was courteous and quick to my needs. They have good restaurants and a bar and restaurant outside looking at the ocean. A Tough drive to get to the hotel due to daily traffic. I would stay again.

I've enjoyed my stay at the Cadillac four times over the last several years. While I'm always impressed by the pools and beach this time I was particularly pleased with the food that was served. The food and drinks were all fresh and delicious! I also love the new super chic coffee shop in the lobby.

The Dona Mare restaurant in the Cadillac Hotel is absolutely excellent. We also enjoyed the best Tiki bar on the beach with Wesley, Simon, and Sebastian. The pools and beach were fabulous 10/10!

Our room wasn’t cleaned well. I could tell the bedding didn’t get changed because I saw a stain. I like to being my own bedding anyhow to lay over the top of the hotel bedding because I know a lot times the hotel bedding doesn’t get changed. The carpet wasn’t cleaned and smell like wet dog and there was dog hair! The bathroom floor wasn’t clean either and the shower needed to be cleaned. Also, it was pretty chilly and rainy during our stay and the heating in the room wasn’t working properly. I informed the hotel twice but the engineer never came from my knowledge. Also, the elevator took so long and I found out one wasn’t really working well and during my whole stay I never never saw running. Also there was only one elevator running. The elevator also looked dirty, carpet was dirty. I really dislike dirty carpet and when the carpet is black color and you can tell it’s dirty, then I already know the carpet is filthy! Most of the staff were nice and helpful. But they took so long to bring us toilet paper! One good thing is that the restaurant in the hotel had really good food. Also, the common area of the hotel was pretty nice.

While the property was nice, rooms needed to be cleaned a bit better, No face or hand towels. Computer system was down upon check in which made for longer process. Main pool was not open and being fixed, but still be charged a resort fee for amenities that were not available.

My boyfriend and I had a great time and would stay here again. Overall a great price for a luxury hotel with these amenities. The hotel is cute and had an art deco vibe. The staff was friendly and gave us umbrellas when it rained. The beach chairs included were great. We parked at a lot across the street and it was easy to find street parking when our 24 hours ended. We walked from the hotel to Ocean Drive and stopped to check out every unique art deco hotel lobby. Why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 - someone was smoking cigarettes in the room next to us and the smell came through the vents into our room. We called and reported it to the front desk. They said they'd send someone up to check it out. We waited, but no one came after 30-45 min. Eventually we wanted to go about our day, so we left the window open for airflow. We mentioned the smell again on our way out, and asked if we could switch rooms. They said they were at capacity so we could not, but talked to the room we thought the smell was coming from and asked them to stop. The fresh air from the window cleared the smell and we didn't have the issue again. We stayed in November 2023 and the main pool was under construction. It makes the outdoor facilities a little less attractive. There was some construction noise in the day. The second pool is usually only adults, but it was kids too due to construction. It was a little crowded, but not enough to stop us from enjoying ourselves.

So many issues to describe
The staff was so nice however the ac in room was broken. They said they sent someone 3 days in a row to fix it but all they did was turn it off.
4 out of 6 nights I returned in the evening to see that my door had been left open
There was a leak in the room and the whole place smelled terrible for the duration of the stay
The valets left my car outside during a massive storm. The elevator wouldn’t come to my floor for 2 days so had to walk up or down a floor to catch the elevator

We decided to try The Cadillac instead of our normal go-to hotels. We were very disappointed to find the main pool under construction. There was a very small pool open that is labeled Adults Only. We were told we could take our kids, but the adults around the pool were not nice about it. The hotel could be a nice place, but overall the level of customer service from the manager was very poor. She very much did not seem eager to please the guests. When checking out today, a woman in front of me said her stay was a disaster. Another couple was complaining as they checked out. Given that the price point is the same as nicer hotels that offer more and aim to please their guests, I will choose another hotel next time.

Decent choice.
Coffee bar was great. Restaurants was disappointing for breakfast - potatoes under cooked. No bread that came with breakfast options. Bar had great bartenders and the drinks were good. But the music after 7:00 was way too loud to be anywhere downstairs. Room was spacious, clean and great ocean view.
Main pool was drained and being refurbished. Other pool was fine. Nice spot on the beach.

The hotel is a stunningly beautiful property, inside and out, with clean, spacious rooms and fantastic views. The Donna Mare Restaurant was amazing!! We had breakfast and dinner there a few times. These were the best meals of the vacation 10/10. The Tiki Beach bar and pools were great too! The staff was friendly and helpful. We had the time of our lives.🌴

Worst experience ever, $53 usd for a night valet ?? really ?? the towels at the pool had holes, the pool had that surface that is made with sunscreen, the room cleaning was terrible, they didnt clean our balcony for 5 days, we need it to ask for complementary water everyday, in reservation its says ocean view but actually is building view. And the worst thing is that we had a gift certificate for 2 nights that at the end they didnt recognized. The manager of the hotel doesnt have criteria. zero recommend to stay at this hotel.

Amazing!
Fantastic place. Beach is so close and very clean. The boardwalk is a great addition. Infinity pool was fantastic. Food is outstanding and the friendliness of staff makes you feel safe and comfortable.

Slow service, rooms were not ready on time, luggage never come to our room, even though I called reception to remind them. After hour and half, I have to go get myself.
4 days storm and rain, not use pool or beach, but still charge you resort fee.

Our room was small and smelled musty. After the first night enduring this we asked in the morning to move rooms and we were told we would have to wait until 4 pm to see if anything was available. When to the beach to spend the day and were advised that our resort fee only included two chairs and that we would have to pay extra for another chair and an umbrella. That was the tipping point. We checked out shortly after that and moved to the 1 Hotel which was far superior and didn’t charge us for an extra chair or umbrella.

When I booked a hotel it showed a nice view and a couch. All I got was a room with the view of another building.
Misleading on the website and expensive for a room the size of a shoe box.
Was not worth my money.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. It was in a great location, the beach was awesome and the staff was very accommodating! We had an oceanview room - and really could barely see the ocean, but it was OK. We came from Minnesota - so it was all good! Beautiful place!

The staff at this property is excellent, they make it worth staying at. The pool staff is exceptional and will do anything to make your stay comfortable. The rooms are also clean. The one negative about my stay was the view. I booked an "ocean view" room but the room was actually right across from a giant tower and the ocean view was minimal. I was told by the front desk that "ocean view" means a very partial view and "oceanfront" means a full view. This distinction is not made when booking the property and I feel is misleading on their part.

Exceptional customer service, clean rooms, great location, multiple dining options, 2 pools and an outdoor hot tub, overall - excellent and would definitely stay again. Things to be improved upon: hot tub was closed for a whole day for maintenance, mixed drinks outside had very little alcohol for how expensive they were.

Beautiful hotel with terrible management
They sold out of our room, so the first night they gave us a ridiculously small room. They also gave us a key to a room that was already occupied so we opened the door to a family already in there (at 2am). We got ZERO compensation for this mistake and the embarrassment of walking in on someone at 2am. All this is after I called and confirmed that we had a lare flight getting us in after 1am.

There were expensive unexpected fees more than the ones listed with Expedia, incidental fees are 150 a night for the deposit plus the 119 tax. Expedia should list all expenses. The bathroom was not cleaned before we checked in, there was hair from the prior guest in the bathroom tub. The employees were kind but the hotel could use some more tending to.

I stayed here end of August with my mom and sister and we loved the customer service there. Everyone was very kind, especially the doormen, they always greeted us with a smile on their faces. We loved riding the bikes there! Definitely recommend doing that, it's included with the daily resort fee. I wish they included free umbrella rentals on the beach along with the chairs because it gets way too hot out there. I also wish they had some sort of vanity in the restroom where we could put our toiletries, they just had a little stand where the towels went but not enough room for our stuff.
Other than that our stay was fantastic, the pool area is great and we felt safe there.

Went to south beach for a long weekend and booked this hotel - we were stranded an extra 3 days due to flight cancellations. The staff was very accommodating and the hotel is beautiful. It’s quiet and in the beach and a cab ride away from the strip
Will definitely be staying here again!

Staff is amazing
Stay was wonderful the front office staff special Ryan was easy to work with. He was polite, knowledgeable and was able to assist me with all my requests. It was very hectic but he was amazing and got me checked in. Loved the out door pool bar which has the best bartenders specially Wesley. He was great to just talk to and made amazing drinks. Was friendly and was a joy to be around.

Filthy room - staff doesn’t care.
Horrible experience! Avoid hotel at all costs. Room was not cleaned with previous occupants old food still in cabinet, sticky floors and hair everywhere, old razor in shower, stained sheets. Staff did not do anything about this despite multiple complaints. Eventually checked out of the hotel early and booked another hotel, still yet to hear back from the hotel for a refund despite multiple calls and emails to staff and manager Ryan Hylton. Safe to assume it’s not happening, hope others avoid the same horrible experience and stay somewhere else.

Pool area is crammed and constantly busy. Some rooms are not like in the website description and we had to spend one night in a corner room overlooking a roof when we had paid for ocean view. Food at the property is outrageously expensive and rooms are not cleaned every day (only way you can tell there was COVID-19, otherwise nobody cares). Loud lounge music at night which is a mistery because most people who stay ar the hotel either have small kids, or don’t stay up late.

Where do I start? We booked an ocean view room 2 months in advance and, upon arrival, were informed that they had given our room to someone else. We were given a smaller room facing the road where construction was happening. How nice. We had no choice but to take it because it was winter break and we had been driving for over 20 hours with our 2 kids. They offered us a free cabana for the pool area except it was for the adults only section. How does that help us with 2 kids? The condition of the pool area was a disaster. There was food in the pool and dirty towels all over the chairs with no staff in sight to clean up or to provide fresh ones. You would also think that the pool area and bar would be something only the guests can use but you’d be wrong! It’s for anyone that feels like taking a dip that day. Please make sure you also wake up with the sun otherwise towels will be thrown on chairs by other guests who think that chair is now their property and AGAIN there is no staff or service to intervene and allow for all families to enjoy the area. Buyer beware and prepare to make a backup plan as you might want to just sleep in your car. It’s cleaner in there anyway.

Nice hotel, but food service needs improvement
Nice hotel with friendly staff. The food service needs improvement - both length of time to prepare/deliver meals. Also, the selection for healthy options was very limited.
For example, it took me 30 minutes to order and wait for a steel cut oatmeal to go. The menu description said bananas and pecans - great, healthy! When I got it, it was candied pecans - if that was in the description, I would have asked them to leave them out.
Similarly, it took 2 hours for our lunch to come on the beach. The orders came out wrong. The next day, the orders were mixed up - the server was very kind, but perhaps its a kitchen issue?

Will not be going back here. The pool was dirty, had to address with the staff. The room was ok but the shower had a terrible odor that lingered the whole stay. Service at both restaurants was extremely slow.

The hotel is directly on the beach. The hotel also offers free bikes on a first come, first served basis. No need to rent a CitiBike.

The staff service face to face was impeccable. If you have a question, ask at face-to-face opportunities because phone contact isn’t as superb. The property is beautiful; the ocean is right outside the door, the pools, the drinks, the food, tons of things right in the area you can walk to… what else could you ask for.

The property is old. You can't tell from the photos, but it's dated. Our oceanview suite had ants, pigeon dung on the balcony and undusted areas. The plumbing is also old; toilet flushes from upstairs sounded like our toilet was automatically flushing.
Outdoor dining service was the worst. Staff's attitude, food quality and poor customer service.
Won't be coming here, again.

Disappointing swimming pools heaters were brinen
It was very very disappointing.
Too tired now.
1. Icky small non ocean facing room
2. Poor service. It took forever.
3. I goat a 24 hour stomach bug.
I needed Tylenol and they refused
4. I do not do ALCHOHOL or anything from the mini bar. I gave 4 bottles of booze to the housekeeper not knowing it’s attached to a sensor and now they are charging me.

The staff was rude and took multiple days after our stay to correct a simple accounting error. I saw the valet driving a car like he stole it. Even the reaturant tried to scam us by double charging us for two completely different amounts at breakfast and then proceeded to explain they could not remove the charges untill a manager was present. This hotel wasted more of my time than i was able to enjoy. There are much better options in the area. Dont wast your time here.

Overall stay was great. The newly renovated hotel was well maintained and clean. We were greeted by Amy, a warm friendly hostess that offered amazing service. The pool areas and outdoor restaurant was nice. Appreciated the separate Adults only pool as there were a number of families with kids. The dedicated beach area was also nice with loungers and towels. Service was a bit slow at times but the staff were always friendly and accommodating. Donna Mare, the hotel restaurant was great. Food was delicious and they offer and nice breakfast buffet option. Only negative was the tv in the room was spotty with cable service…off and on. Location is a bit north (20-30 blocks depending) of South Beach, so not in the heart of the tourist traps. There’s a CVS across the street as well as a Latin market that offers a variety of food and beverages.

This was such a great destination. We decided to escape the New York grey gloom and winter wind and wanted to be some place warm to bring in the New Years. This is away from the chaotic south beach, but close enough to walk there and enjoy everything. Food is good (though everything on South Beach strip cost $$$). Yoga at 8AM on weekdays, 9AM on weekends was a major hit and is included in the resort fees. Pool is warm. You can walk out to the beach any time. Staff are all willing to help you out. Honestly, it is a great place to be. The rooms are clean, not noisy (and we were there on NYE), spacious for a couple. Soft bed, good pillows. Soft towels. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as I did. Thanks Expedia reviews for helping me select this place.

The concierge Javier is a total douche bag who could care less about the guests. The staff tries hard but are under staffed and it takes a very long time for food and drinks to be served. They ran out of beach chairs, towels and sometimes didn’t cone to clean room. If they Fire The concierge Javier you might have a chance for a nice stay. Got the money you pay, you should expect excellent service and treatment. It falls far short of both

We booked 2 ocean view rooms and went to check in at 7 pm. They gave one room that was ocean front and said the other room was not ready and could not give a time when it will be ready. When we asked them to give a certain time as we are tired with travel, the manager said 20 min and in 40 min gave us a room that had coconut tree view and another building view, after we booked almost a 800 dollar room ! I got pretty upset and told them I will complain to administration. Then they gave us immediately a room in 9 th floor that is an ocean view. Basically they kind of give crappy service to hotels.com members . Otherwise the hotel was nice.
