Underwhelmed for price
After several hours driving I wanted somewhere for a good nights sleep and food, didnt want to go out for food. After checking in online, found restaurant and bar are closed Sunday and Monday. Great. Picked up food. No microwave in the room. No breakfast, not even coffee in lobby in the morning. Room and bed were clean and comfortable, but the road noise was hellish all night. For the price, not worth it

Location around hotel is nice. Bristol is a fun place to be at. The hotel itself advertised a working hot tub which is why we picked this hotel but we got there and found out it hadn’t worked in months which would have been nice to know before booking. The rooms were rather small for the price and doesn’t provide a microwave to warm up your dinner leftovers for breakfast which would have been nice since continental breakfast is NOT provided. The provide breakfast that you have to pay for and it’s wayyyy over priced. Very disappointing

The staff was very kind and courteous. At check in the person doing my check in went to extra effort to get me a room away from street noise.
I was very disappointed with my room that had no microwave oven at this expensive property. This is a simple standard these days even at much lower rate hotels!

Nice hotel, nice room, warm indoor pool but radius tiles around pool corners were raised 1” - 2” and it looked really bad and dangerous, hot tub had caution tape all around it so we couldnt get in it and didnt want to as it was freezing cold. We just wanted a hotel with a hot the and warm indoor pool and free breakfast. Breakfast, if they had any, idk, we were up at 9:15am and didnt see any coffee, food, not even any employees around the kitchen area to take our order even if they didnt have free breakfast- i know they had breakfast to order as i saw it when we walked in the night before.
Also the pool didnt have any towels, i had to go get some from front desk and that was like asking for 4 ounces of 24 kt gold for free or something.
It was much better then the last Marriot which was in charlotte by airport, the bristol location was much cleaner, smelled and looked better and was possibly newer.
At least it didnt smell like maarijuana all thru the hallways like the Charlotte marriott did.

The main reason we booked here was the hot tub
My husband has cancer and the hot tub does wonders for his painful bones ☹️
Needless to say 200$ a night for a bed was definitely not worth it
I spoke with the desk attendant and “unfortunately was unable to give any discount “
2.00 for a coffee and 17.00$ for scrambled eggs couple slices of bacon and toast 😞😞😞

The toilet as clogged, pool area was closed and thats the main reason we stayed there, chips and marijuana all over the carpet, Marijuana on the balcony, and i have a 6 year old kid,

Terrible property, do not stay here. We booked a room with a queen bed and a pull out couch. 1st room they gave us didn't have the pull out couch. 2nd room smelled like a smoker just checked out and the couch was filthy. Also we specifically searched for a hotel with a pool and the pool was closed when we got there. Why wasn't that mentioned in the description of the hotel so we knew before booking?

Fix issues with pool/hot tub
July 2023, hotel pool was down since June and not advertised. They let us use hot tub however it was cold like a pool not very useful. Service area for food and bar was barely open. Checkin/out were no issues. Room was great. Li.ited gym basically treadmills. Would stay there again but make sure everything is working first because the hot tub and pool was main reason for staying at location.

This stay was terrible our original room was dirty and the bed was wet, my son was hit by something I won’t say bed bugs but something for sure. They charged my credit card 3 times for 1 charge, they were supposed to comp one night for the inconveniences, has not been done yet then the room was dirty and looked like it was under construction then have the nerve to charge for breakfast like they are a luxury hotel and they are far from. Don’t book.

We booked specifically to swim and relax using the hot tub to unwind at the end of a long day driving. There had been a problem with the pool and the area was unavailable that night. The desk clerk was very sweet and ap apologized. I did get a great shower (love the bath products) and the tub was deep with a good handle to help me get in and out. I wish it had whirl pool it would have made up for the inablity to get in the hot tub. Also I wish the offered brunch/ breakfast later. At least leave out some fresh fruit. We were very tired from our long drive and had to miss breakfast in order to get some needed sleep. This hotels coffee machine was easy to use and the coffee was excellent. Over all I give this hotel a great stay.

I got a king room and It had a nice couch and furnishings. Water was hot and stayed hot. Rooms were quiet. Linens felt nice and we're clean. The pool/hot tub room on the other hand needs serious TLC. Water was clean but the coping of both the hottub and pool were coming apart. Some water bugs even climbed put of the coping where the caulk had deteriorated.

Felt familiar like home

Decent stay aside from the busted outlet and lack of microwave. Front desk was unable to advise if room had microwave at check in stating “Some rooms have them, some don’t.” The price should be pro-rated based on accommodations.

Very nice hotel!
Our stay was amazing. At check in the type of room I reserved was not available. They said it was reserved by Expedia as a king room but I booked through Hotels.com and reserved 2 queen beds. Other than that, our stay was very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable!

Although EVERYTHING about this stay was wonderful, I was very disappointed that there was not one USB connection in the room! Not one! In this day and age that should be a given! I love Marriott hotels and was really disappointed to see they had slacked off on this amenity.

After a very long day of travel I landed here. Plenty of dining options nearby and/or within walking distance. Got to my room and it was clean and quiet. The curtains kept the room dark. The shower was hot and my shower had my favorite Speakman shower head.

Overall good stay. Comfortable, clean, good location and good parking. Specifically chose this property for the pool and hot tub. The hot tub heater was broken. That was disappointing. Been a while since I have stayed in a hotel. What happened to the coffee/tea bar in the lobby? This was definitely missed. Wasn’t interested in paying for Starbucks coffee at the hotel bar.

Not much to appraise
Overall it is a nice hotel, however there are a few things need to improve:
1. AC/heating is extremely noise. It woke me up, so I had to turn off it.
2. I bought breakfast at booking, but every morning the BF people asked me to sign a receipt for what I am ordering. In your system you should know who paid for breakfast, why wait time on these thing and confuse guest.
3. I travel quite often; this is the first hotel that there is no complimentary coffee/water provided in the lobby. Quite cheap and lazy.

Hot tub was a big reason for booking at this hotel only to find out it was taped of and out of order. Which was very disappointing. Probably won't stay there again. Ordered breakfast and the cook forgot our order and took 45 minutes for breakfast. Will not return.

Great hotel but overpriced breakfast
Hotel is great. Other than the breakfast. You have to pay an arm and leg to get breakfast. While the other chains like la Quinta I don't pay arm and leg yet I get decent breakfast. So instead of eating at your facility I just went to the restaurant

A Real Pleasant Stay
This hotel is very very clean. Comfortable room. Bistro was an added plus. Most hotels usually have just a breakfast bar but this Courtyard by Marriott had a bistro that had breakfast and available for dinner. Was a real plus. Hotel reception was very friendly as was Bistro help. Will definitely use this hotel again

The facilities were clean overall, but there was mold in our room behind the wallpaper. There was noticeably wet smell when we walked in, then I noticed that wallpaper was peeling and that there was mold underneath it.

The front desk staff was very warm and welcoming when I arrived. My room was so cozy that I wanted to stay another night for no reason. The breakfast options were delicious and fresh and upon leaving, the front desk was just as helpful with anything I needed.

It was great ! We stayed for three nights , on the second day we got up to make coffee but we were only left with decafe , I saw a housekeeper and asked she was very nice and gave me regular coffee to make .

Laundry for guest not working. No water or towels in fitness center, continuing to blame COVID to not provide services. Pool as bid as a large hot tub.

I liked the decor such as the wallpaper, furniture, and the paintings. However it felt like those were being used to disguise this place as nicer than it was. Once we got in our room I was instantly disappointed. It was 80 degrees in the room and the air conditioner wasn’t working. I went to the front desk and told them. She said they were fully booked so she would send her repairman up to look at it. He was there for a total of 3 minutes in which he turned the knobs of the temperature and fan setting back and forth. Spoiler alert: that didn’t fix the issue. Feeling frustrated and trapped I decided to diagnose it myself. I took the cover off the ac and instantly figured out the issue. It was entirely frozen over inside which is caused by low refrigerant or poor airflow. I learned this with a quick google search that apparently their “maintenance guy” has never thought to do. I thawed the ac by turning the fan on without the air. It worked, but then it immediately refroze when I turned the air back on. So I accepted my defeat and decided to sweat it out. Later that night I asked a new lady who was working at the desk if there was any rooms available yet. At this point I had sweated it out for 6 hours and was really hoping for a good answer. She says they had plenty of queen rooms but no kings like the one I had. I can’t believe the lady earlier didn’t tell me that.. In the new room the ac worked, but the tv did not. Luckily I was tired and just crashed.

Cleanliness is not a strong point
When I first go into a hotel room, I check for bed bugs. Since the beds were clean and bug-free I settled in. After a short time, I saw there were cans and bottles in one recycle bin and a sticky goo inside the other. I put them outside my door and the next thing I found was sticky stuff inside the refrigerator. I called the front desk, got the reply that they were short on housekeeping staff and would get the mess cleaned the next day. The next day, the bins were empty, but still sticky and thus stayed outside the room. The refrigerator was cleaned, but I kept finding trash throughout the room… bottle caps under the bed, gum wrapper tucked between chair cushions. The morning I was to check out, there were several ants crawling in the bathroom. Needless to say, no shower and an early morning exit.

The smoke detector battery was dead and the beeping was awful. I called the front desk and someone came and fixed it immediately! The hotel was very clean, staff very friendly. The room was huge! My only complaint is the AC unit didn’t work very well.

Good lobby… great lady at the bar…room was disappointing as shower was moldy, and leaked water onto floor. Bed was good but pillows too small. No breakfast either. I expected more from a Marriot. This was more like a Quality Inn with exception of Lobby area
