Breathtaking
I was extremely impressed how beautiful the decor was inside of this hotel. It smelled amazing throughout the entire place. The staff was absolutely fantastic and I will definitely be coming back again.

A syrupy disappointment
Tru was like a cake with way too much icing. Lots of flash and Disney like features, but fell down in the fundamentals of comfort and tranquility. I would not stay here again, nor recommend it.

Pretty nice little hotel
Reception staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful, understanding. Breakfast was good, nice choices, excellent temperature. Room was very clean and comfortable. My only complains are the walls are quite thin, could hear my neighbors talking, laughing, their tv show. Neighbors upstairs are loud, could hear them every time they walked- almost stomping sounding, all night… and the temperature in the room was hard to control. Hot or cold, no middle ground. Noise levels and no good temperature made it difficult sleep. Every thing else was excellent and I would definitely stay here again, just bring earplugs and an extra blanket next time!

Staff was very nice. Professional, yet friendly. The room was very clean. I like that the floors are not carpeted. Much easier to keep clean. Comfortable beds. GREAT Indian restaurant just feet away. Other fast food/ chain options and shopping just across the road. Not far from orher dining options by car. will he staying again as we have family in the area we visit frequently. Ih ans the breajdast and CoOFFEE are very good.

My sister stayed with me and she wanted to share that she called the front desk for an extra pillow and blanket and they were brought up very timely and the employees were very nice. The room was clean and well stocked with soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc. The breakfast was very good.

Unfriendly staff at desk. Walls are thin and we could hear neighbor talking in the hallways and on phone for several hours. I had to leave TV on to drown out the noise. We could also hear highway noise making it hard to sleep. We were awoken up by another room’s alarm which kept going off. Front staff was not happy that we had a small dog, despite the hotel being “pet friendly”. This is our first stay at Tru and we would avoid this chain in the future.

Excellent- service, cleanliness, roominess, shower/bathroom
Good - parking, breakfast, bed comfort
Poor - quietness. Lots of highway noise, very poor sound isolation between rooms. I was awake all night.

On our arrival, we saw a sign in our room that said, room service is provided only every other day. Since we were only staying two days, we did not get any room service. As a result, we were short on towels and washcloths, our garbage piled up and overflowed, And our bed was not made. If a hotel is going to limit service to every other day, visitors who stay only two days should get room service after their first night’s stay. This should be seriously considered.

Tru by Hilton is a very weird hotel concept. First, let me begin by saying that the management, staff, and cleanliness of the property was great. The breakfast was good, lobby was fun, and food/drink items from the “convenience store” were well thought out. Hilton, however, made a very large misstep in conceptualizing the brand. The whole property just feels cheap. There are very few in-room amenities and the decor feels cold and uncozy. The decision to use plank flooring is especially bad. This is a family oriented property and the sounds from other rooms carries loudly due to the non-carpeted floors. Hilton should augment this design concept with a little more warmth in mind. Guests should consider Home2Suites and Hampton Inn as more comforting alternatives.

This place is a great DIY place although the front desk person was extremely helpful. I needed some assistance with the laundry and she didn’t hesitate to fix the issue. There were plenty of snacks and drinks so we didn’t have to go searching for some place to eat. I would definitely stay here again.

The shower had wads of long black hair on the wall. The toilet was clogged. We asked for it to be fixed. They only offered to move our room since no maintenance person was on staff. We were already unpacked. They sent up the desk person with a plunger and handed it to us. Then we asked when we were done unclogging their toilet that we bring it back to the desk. Why the manager on staff couldn't get off his or her butt and wipe down the shower wall and unclog the toilet on their own is beyond me. They didn't care.

Nice place basic hotel. Breakfast selection was good however the hot foods were not. Pool water was freezing and beds not so comfy. Everything was clean.
No freezer in mini fridge coffee maker or microwave

Clean but beware
No frills place but very clean and all staff friendly. The room did not have carpet and overnight the air conditioner had leaked. When getting up I slipped on the eater and fell, brushing my whole side. Told the staff member at checkout and he said he would have the manager call me and refund me for the room. Never received the call and my call to them went. Unanswered

Great Stay!

Properly was in overall good condition. The bathroom was very clean and well stocked.
The bed was comfortable, and clean.
TV was very nice, good stations.
I did not use the pool or fitness center but both looked clean and organized. The only thing I wish was different, when I went to check out no one was around I waited a good bit before someone came in from smoking to help me. Other than that it was a very nice stay.

The room was not very clean. There was dirt on the bathroom backsplash with hair on it. The platform that held the mattress was filthy. The beds had hair in them. There holes in the bottom sheets with dirt and lint.

The property houses homeless people for the state. The first night we were there, we were in the lobby with our children and a drug overdose victim was being wheeled out by emts. The second night we were in the lobby and two police officers were escorting out one of the residents with all their bags. There were also a lot of pets in the hotel and it didn't feel very clean.

Great service. Everything is up to the standards. Many food options around the area if you can navigate properly through the one-ways and sharp corners. The only things are the shower door could be sealed better and connect 4 is broken in the lobby.

Super friendly staff. Rooms and rest of building clean and up to date. Standard hotel breakfast was hot and kept stocked. Coffee was excellent and available 24/7. Only negative was a kind of wimpy shower, but water was hot and bathroom was clean.

Dispensers not easily dispensable!
I asked for a handicap seat for the shower and got one, but it was not that clean. So my daughter washed it with some soap and a facecloth. And when I took my shower the dispensers were too high and to difficult to squeeze. The dispensers could be 4-5 inches lower - and handicapped users as well as non handicapped people could use them.

The stay was pleasant, very kid friendly, nice free breakfast and the staff was beyond helpful.
The pool was very cloudy and slimmy on the bottom. I felt like the chemicals were not in balance and needed to shower directly after. The room was nice but nothing but a mini fridge. A bar was listed for a cocktail but there wasn't one. Outside was clean and well maintained but the main street with people asking for money at stop lights and the streets littered made me stay in after dark.

I love that the property was so up to date. To me modern. It even has an entertaining corner in the lobby. What I didn’t lol was while checking in the staff put a hold $75 for accidental s without letting me know. I know almost every hotel does that but they still need to remind guests.

We stayed for four nights. The first night our room was way too close to the highway and we listened to traffic noise all night. In the morning we asked to change rooms, and the room we got was much quieter. Overall, it was a good stay, very conveniently located.

Front staff were among the friendliest staff I have ever experienced at a front desk both evening and morning. I had a fabulous stay with my dog. Easy access to outside dog area that was very clean. I love the sparse room decor. Minimal cloth materials made me feel like it was a cleaner environment. The tiniest of criticism is most likely due to staff shortage. There were a handful of spots in the room that could have been cleaned better - dried soap all over the shower head, what appeared to be a greasy/pizza sauce hand print on the wall, small things that were probably overlooked. Overall a fabulous stay, I will be back.

This hotel was nice, clean and the staff was very nice, the only thing I didn't enjoy was the thin walls. I could hear everything that was being said in the room next to me and made it hard for me to sleep.
