Nice consistent comfortable stay
The room I was in was falling apart (toilet paper holder fell off wall, shower fixture nearly came out and didn't have a "stop" when I turned it on), but the staff is awesome and breakfast is tolerable.

This is a good hotel in a convenient location. Easy access to a main highway and close to a shopping and dining area. The rooms are nice and clean. The breakfast was good with both comfort and healthier options.

Gap under the door to the room is over an inch.. so you can hear EVERYTHING in the hallways all night. All three pieces of workout equipment are out of order, which should be told to people trying to book a room. Overall the hotel needs updating and some basic amenities added to compete with other local hotels.

Property was ok. Looked like it had been remodeled. Room still had some issues: deadbolt didn’t work, toilet ran nonstop, iron didn’t work, not all the electrical plugs worked. Just didn’t feel it was worth the $

Did not stay here
The toilet kept running after use a d I would have to jiggle the handle at least twice. The bed wasn’t made for the 2nd night nor were there any new linens and the room wasn’t swept. When I checked out, the front desk person was too busy on their phone to acknowledge me.

Overall had a very good stay and would stay there again. The breakfast was good each day. The only concern was the lack of wash cloths in the room.
The first night there no wash cloths and the front desk hand two extra and they were the last ones. Second night, room had one wash cloth went to the front desk and there was no extras. The front desk said there weren't sure why housing wouldn't leave extra towels with them. Note: I was sharing a room with a friend.

I booked the handicap accessible room for the grab bars in the shower. Good thing I did as the tub was dirty, super slick and I came close to falling in the shower. The bottom was not cleaned properly leaving a slick film. Next time could be a major injury and a lawsuit.

Fine place to stay
Nice Holiday Inn, like all the others. Convenient location, nice sized room with amenities like microwave and fridge. Full breakfast in the morning. Only fault was with lack of room service. You must request it or have towels and coffee pods replenished. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Confused and rude staff
My check in experience was lovely and the room was freshly remodeled.
Then, after i fell asleep, there was shouting in the hall and people were shaking my door and trying to get into my room. I was terrified.
I called the front desk and the clerk said "that was me" and she yelled at me for being in the wrong room. I told her that I had been given this room---that the number was written on my key and my key worked. She continued to berate me until i finally asked if she wanted me to get dressed, pack up, and move. She said i could stay in my room but I was so stressed out i couldn't sleep for a long time.

Looks like in process of remodeling. Crates out back by parking lot and items stored underneath the stairs. Picked up several screws in parking spaces. Commode in room broke after 2nd flush. It was immediately fixed as soon as I reported it. Otherwise friendly staff and good breakfast.

Spacious and comfy
Wasn’t the best area, but the hotel itself was great. Room was spacious and clean with a very comfy bed. Shower was great and the set-up of the room was convenient. Would stay here again.

Great hotel location, keep room location in mind!
Great location, very convenient to family in Lamar-area Austin. A clean hotel with friendly staff and good breakfast. My sole complaint was traffic noise in my room (308) which faced the highway and feeder road. In the future I will request a room away from the roadside and feel it will greatly enhance the stay.

There was nothing unique about the property. The mattresses needed replaced a long time ago. Very old and dated room. It was only for one nights stay so my family and I made it work. It was very overpriced for the quality or lack there of. I would not stay at this hotel again.

The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast good. I liked the blackout curtain in the room. The one thing I didn’t like was a banging door nearby. I couldn’t figure out if it was the exit door or laundry room. Fortunately I had earplugs.

The condition is a 1 star rating hotel. Tv stand was busted
No outlets worked but bathroom
Bed was very uncomfortable, leaned to 1 side. Carpet was absolutely gross.
Shower looked like something from the 70s.
Needs many improvements.

We stayed in room 111. King size room. Mattress was super comfy and I slept like a baby. Great shower pressure. Front desk was very nice and attentive. 10 out of 10 for me.

The toilet would flush at long intervals and the tank would take a long time to fill up. It was always making noise like running water. We found a few cockroaches in the bathroom. There was a large group of teenager team members that were very loud late at night.

House cleaning is very lazy
We paid extremely high prices due to the Formula One race that was in town (everywhere was expensive). Our room was not cleaned and no towels left on one of the nights (we filled out the form to have it cleaned every day). Two of the three nights we had no coffee or cups. We had bugs in our bed and dirty sheets. I went down to talk to the staff, but it was late and the were fully booked. We dealt with it and I called when a manager was available, and all he did was refund $50 of my cost. Didn’t talk to me about anything, just gave the money and pretty much told me to go. The customer service was not great, the cleanliness was even worse. Was really disappointed with our stay.

Checked in about midnight and Eric, the desk clerk was immediately available, professional and friendly. Very welcome after a long drive.
Breakfast had good options and the hot cinnamon rolls were excellent. The attendant was very helpful.
Clean rooms and location was close to my client. Would stay again.

Had issues of not being able to be connected to the internet ( phone and IPad) after calling front desk and the going to front desk they couldn’t assist. Was given a tech support number to call and finally was able to use the internet.

First room had nonfunctioning electronic lock - every time we wanted to get tinto room we had to go to front desk and have another key made. Also the toilet in this room was not bolted to the floor securely, and sink did not drain like it should. They gave us another room - same problems with the electronic lock (did not work), and the sink in this room drained super slowly and needed to be cleaned out

More Pluses Than One Minus
Over the last 12 years we've stayed here many, many times. It is convenient to our daughter's home as well as restaurants and shopping. The new management was very friendly and always helpful. The facility is set for a complete update - COVID postponed the planned start - it badly needs it yet we would stay there again as the overall 4 night experience went well.

Good home away from home.
The staff were very helpful on many requests. The Breakfast was very good and filled a nitch since there were no other nearby breakfast restaurants. We used the lobby for meeting place for extended family and that worked well.

Close to Dripping Springs?!
Black out drapes would not close all the way And the Highway was loud in the room. Homeless fellow slept outside of the other window but did not bother us. Another man slept for quite a while outside the lobby on the bench. The parking lot was full so we parked amongst half a dozen construction containers and a stinking, over flowing trash dumpster. The pool was never in use because of the way it looks. The AC was very good. The breakfast was great. The desk clerks were nice. Way better than average elevators.

My kids and I had a great stay at this hotel. The staff was quick to check us in, the hotel was very clean and we loved the breakfast. The only thing I would mention is that if you want room service you have to request it and I didn’t know that. Overall it was a great stay!

It was not the cleanest unfortunately. Our outlets on one side of our room were not working they did accommodate us by moving us rooms but the rooms just weren’t very clean. There was an old eyelash stuck between the shower curtains no telling how long it had been there.

The room was so dark, it was like being in a cave. Had every light on, and curtains open, and still could not see. No issues with the staff. At check in I requested to be away from
the freeway, and was we were accommodated. I did call about the room being so dark, and got an apology. The hotel was not at all full, no offer to change room. Maybe all of the rooms are equally lacking light. This is not being picky, it was like early nighttime inside the room. On the good side, the bed was very comfortable, it was quiet away from the freeway. The coffee at breakfast was very good.

I liked that it was easy to get to my room which was clean, very comfortable, and quiet. I even had somewhat of a good view out the window. The bathroom could have had a nightlight, and the bed table lights could have either been brighter or placed better for reading, but that is a minor thing.
