Single woman with my dog traveling cross country! This place is a good solid 4, amenities are good. Breakfast was great. The bed was so comfortable and the front desk staff worked hard to get me the room that I asked for! Housekeeping staff were friendly and funny! Check in and out was very easy the building is dated of course, the property is on a main drag in an older part of town, but inside the decor was clean, decorative, warm and inviting!

Shampoo and body wash containers are mounted much too high for anyone taking a bath. These should be lowered to make them accessible for people who shower as well as those who like to have a bath.

Check in staff were nice , checkout guy didn’t help with our room issues . Breakfast was ok . Loud pipes all night and we got no sleep and we had court the next day . Work up to a cold shower . Sink blast so hard you get all wet !!!!!

All of the workers we had contact with were very nice and helpful. There was one day when our room didn’t get any attention (beds did not get made and no clean towels) My teenage kids were sad that the hot tub was not usable (it was in a separate room that was locked and we could see through the window that there was no water in the hot tub). Other then that, we would happily stay there again. Thanks Expedia, for helping us get a discount.

The comfort and cleanliness of this hotel was the prominent feature. However, the breakfast left a lot to be desired. The eggs were overcooked (brown at the edges/almost inedible) and the muffins were stale. We’ve eaten at lots of hotels and my hubby designated this to be the worst. That’s pretty bad!

Things inside the room, such as bed, furniture, etc were nice. The building is in need of maintenance. Water leaked all over our bathroom floor from a leaky toilet tank. The stairwell door kept staying open due to the door getting stuck on the tile floor. Good breakfast

Not worth the high rate
Arrived late at night, nice customer service. Advised elevators were out of service, gave us a first floor room. The door to our room was propped open when we arrived. Weird. Very dim lighting and old out of date room. Like maybe they hadn’t had someone stay in awhile. Would not stay here again.

Staff was excellent. Housekeeping should be given an award for the cleanliness. Maintenance guy fixed my TV in a jiffy and the front desk gave me a quiet room . This property is close ( 5 minutes) to all kinds of good eating and a good quaint cinema. The coffee makers are Keurig and the fridge has a small freezer. . Breakfast is at 6am and check-in is a nice early 2pm.

The room, not so much.
Upon entering-- the smell was so STRONG of air freshener we thought. After looking in the AC unit someone had crammed a car air freshener in the AC unit. I used a tweezer to remove it so we could breathe during our stay!
The mirrors were not cleaned
The floor was left with a sticky residue and old shoe prints
The curtains looked as if they had vomit stains on them
Headboards were dusty and full of handprints
There were contact lenses stuck to the bathroom door and walls
The towels were just thrown on the rack with not enough for our stay.
The TV remotes did not work for the tv and broken
Upon swimming there was a teenage kid with a bloody nose swimming and using the hotel towels to subdue the bleeding. The towel was then left by the pool.
It was not worth what we paid but we made it work. Being in the hospitality business this was a terrible clean. We will be checking out surrounding hotels during our next stay.

1. Our keys had to be reset 6 times in 7 days because they wouldn’t work.
2. The shower leaked and created a lake in the bathroom.
3. The one receptionist was rude, none of them even cared about the complaints of us and others staying there. And they were rude to customers because we legitimately had complaints like our key didn’t work again!
4. No one told us the rooms weren’t cleaned while we were there. We had to take out our own garbage and find someone on cleaning staff to get clean towels, toilet paper and tissues. Tissues were empty and toilet paper was less than half roll without an extra when we got there.
5. There was not enough parking. It was always full with a few double parked. This actually caused people to park in front of the entrance doors hindering access to the building and blocking access to the trash cans and smoking area.
6. The breakfast was horrid. I felt as if I was back on a submarine. No flavor, always out of anything that was good. Fresh fruit was either gone or going bad.
7. The spa was broke, and we weren’t informed beforehand.
8. They never applied my military discount to the room.
I’ve stayed all over the world and have never had a worse experience in a hotel. I would never stay there again nor recommend it to anyone. It was so bad we made it a point to ONLY be there to sleep. Come in at midnight to get up and leave by 6am.

Key cards kept having to be switched constantly they where no where near my phone or my cards or keys and I still had to get new ones and while me and my boyfriend where sleeping a maid walked in on us while we were naked and the room was okay the coffee maker was dirty and the bathroom was out soap never got replaced and we had no towels which I’m sure your supposed to replace after each customer so my stay was very disappointing

We paid via Expedia and then we were charged again by the man at the counter who stated Expedia canceled our card, this wasn’t true and we were charged twice. We couldn’t get into our room as the key wouldn’t work so we were given 3 rooms by the time a key actually worked.
Breakfast was nice and the lady at the front desk when we checked out saw we were charged twice and advised she would cancel the second payment from going through so hopefully that happens.

My wife has several medical conditions that make it painful for her to travel. Two reasons for booking this location were the hot tub and the pool. The hot tub didn't work and the pool was too cold to swim in. Had I known this prior to my booking, I would've chosen another location. The room was nice but there were noises, hums and vibrations from all the rooms that made sleeping somewhat difficult.

Let's see first we were given a room with a defective toilet, which we discovered after unpacking and had to transfer everything to a new room. The keys didn't work to the new room and they tried several times trying to get a key that worked. We finally got keys to work after an hour. We went to use the bathroom sink only to find that the handle wasn't attached. We were going to ask for another room at that point. Oh, and the at 6AM a dog started barking in one of the rooms and didn't stop. Never again

We’ve stayed here twice so far, and each time it has been a wonderful experience. The front desk is always helpful and kind. The breakfast can’t be beat, and our kids love the indoor pool. Definitely our go to hotel when we are in the area.

Our bed had pubic hair and dry fluid under the sheets. When my wife requested a new room she was told there wasn’t one available and the man at the front handed her some clean sheets for us to change the bedding.
I’m disappointed on how Expedia handled the issue. The room was expensive and we didn’t stay there because it was gross. The man at the counter wasn’t honest about how he handled us. I’m disappointed this happened at a holiday inn express.
I won’t use Expedia again. They lost a 15yr loyal customer. I’m now writing a letter to Holliday Inn Express HQ.

Stay was average. Complaints were the window in our room was left partly open making it freezing cold in there as we checked in late. Heater only half worked so it took forever to warm up. Pool was supposed to be heated but it was freezing along with the room it was in. No notice was given that hot tub was out of service.

The Hotel staff was great, I am a senior with bad knees and have trouble walking to far carrying luggage. She made sure I had a room on the the ground floor and close to the front door. This pathetic excuse of hotel should be shut down.
Worst stay in an HI Express we’ve ever had. Reservation didn’t go through, had to wait, then had to get a different reservation upon arrival not Hotels.com. Room was shabby, no hot water, wrong beds, phone didn’t work, and the TV wasn’t in working order and they were aware of it before we got in that room.
Then to add insult to injury we’re given a pathetic amount of $20 off the bill from “upper management “ who is not on property!!!

We chose this hotel specifically for the indoor hot tub and pool and we're told yes they have indoor hot tub and pool we check in and find out the indoor pool is ice cold and the hot tub is inoperable websites should list that their main amenity is under construction or inoperable that would only be fair to the clients

Wonderful respite on a road trip
Even though we checked in late, someone was available and it was quick and easy. The rooms were clean, quiet. I could’ve stayed in the shower all day: endless hot water and great water pressure – I felt like I was at a Spa. Breakfast was ready, the tables were constantly being cleaned and food restocked. Kudos to the staff here
