I rented a room for a weekend with the family, when we received and got to the room, the door was open with the TV on and the pillow by the foot of the bed, it looked like someone was watching TV. We received another room, and the room was really hot, no A/C and the AC unit cover was on the ground, we ended up again getting another room. The last room received was extremely smelly, like if someone was smoking there, so we just decided to find another hotel. Very surprisingly the awful experience at a Holiday Inn Hotel. Lack of maintenance.

Room for improvement
The first room we were given had not been cleaned and there was no bedding. The second room we were sent to was directly off the elevator. The floor had not been vacuumed, but the rest of the room seemed clean. The furniture was worn.

Mediocre. Fine for the price.
It was fine. It's what you'd expect for the price. Though a warning for anyone planning to stay here, the heating element they use in their rooms makes this awful ticking sound constantly. So if that will bother you, avoid this hotel or buy earplugs. It took 4 days for one of the staff to inform me that it's normal, though I have my doubts. The other employees straight up lied to me about having it fixed. The front desk employees are less helpful then a bunch of 6th graders would be.

Needs updating
first room we were given had hair in the bed! We called Jasmine at the desk who was very sweet and accommodating and she moved us to another room. The beds in this room had clean sheets but there was mold on ceiling in the bathroom. Overall, the hotel is very dated and could use some updating. Coffee pots were empty at 7:15.
The poor guy running desk was also trying to keep kitchen going. So, maybe understaffed?

Untrained front desk staff double charged our room. Advertising said Hot Tub that didn’t exist. Fire alarm went off and cleared the building at 7:30am. What a night mare.

Loved the property. Hiccup with charging us twice but it was resolved very quickly. All staff is amazing. We’ve stayed here twice if that says anything and I will stay again.

Pool is still open for the polar bears :)
Nice free continental breakfast.
Most important beds are exactly of softness I like (which is not too soft, that gives strong support to a strong person like me) and 2 big pillows per person, ie 4 pillows per queen bed.
Freezer in the refrigerator. Small but still useful.

Hotel is not as advertised! There’s no hot tub and we booked a room with a living room and s couch to sleep 5 people! We were out in a small room and brought us a cot! We found ice cream and egg rolls in our freezer!

Might think twice
No real complaints. Felt the bathroom could have been cleaner. There was hair on the shower wall. I rinsed it off but would definitely think twice about staying again. Staff was great, breakfast great and clean

Cinnamon Roll Heaven
I would stay here again just for the cinnamon rolls at breakfast. The entire breakfast selection was awesome and my daughter claims the bed was the most comfortable bed she has ever slept in.

The first nights we pull back our covers they were blood stains on the comforter and sheets, Saturday morning we got up we went to the pool housekeeping kept going to our room but they never cleaned it. We went downstairs to the front Dess. They told us we were supposed to request housekeeping we did she still never showed up we had to ask for clean sheets. She handed it to us. We had to make our own beds. We had to take the dirty sheets and the dirty towels outside the hallway, she still never showed up but she told my son just put the dirty sheets and towels outside the hallway with your trashcan. She never showed up to our room. Our room was never clean the entire time we were there.

Bathtub was clean but not rinced enough. The tub has a tilt to let it drain. I got in when the tub was dry and as soon as water reached my feet I slipped and fell. It was so slippery I couldn't get up and had to roll out onto the floor.
I reported this by phone to front desk and again at reception the next morning. Luckily only scratch and bruises on arm and hip.
What upset me was no response from management. If they tried to reach me I never received it.

Elevator was broken, we stayed on the 5th floor and had to walk up and down stairs during our stay. The pool was closed and unusable. Breakfast bar is cheap and not to good, a lot of the food sat and got hard.

Elevator was out of service, ac did not work, and my vehicle was broken into. It was parked near the front door, front desk claims they didn't hear anything, and there's been no update on if the cameras caught anything

Nothing good to say.
We have stayed at many other HIExpress properties this was by far the worst. At registration we were told they were waiting on an inspection to open the pool, after 4 days there still no progress on inspection. The elevator was out of service the entire time. There was evidence of water on hallway floors. The water was shut off in the hotel with no warning. can't think of one good thing to share.

I always enjoy staying at Holiday Inn Express hotels. I can count on a comfortable room and a great breakfast. This hotel had both. They also had cookies at check-in. My complaints are just that I had to wait a bit to get checked in - not too long, but longer than I usually wait, and they would not give me a receipt at check-out because I had booked through Hotels.com. I travel for work a lot and always use hotels.com. I have always been able to get a receipt without incident. I was very disappointed and don't understand why this is suddenly an issue.

Hotel was clean; room was large and spacious. Location was perfect and in a nice area with food options and shopping within walking distance. Hotel is older and seemingly undergoing some renovations. Foundation work going on during the day was loud and distracting.

Having to sleep on the floor.
The Hotel is fine and clean however we had a big problem. I got to the room only to find two beds, no pull-out coach or rollaway. I booked the room for 5 people. I spoke to the person at the check-in desk and it showed my reservations for 5 people. He explained to me they didn't have any rooms to accommodate to sleep 5 people or any other rooms available. I asked if he could find a rollway or even a cot to use. No such luck. "So, one of us had to sleep on the floor"!!!
The listing for the room on the website says it will accommodate or sleeps 5 people. My complaint is if you are going to accept reservations and have me pay$ for 5 people you have to make sure no one has to sleep on the floor.
Two Queen size beds doesn't work.
Not sure if I would trust you or the Holiday Inn Hotel ever booking this again.
I would recommend someone to look into issue.

Upon entry, immediately notice the bright clean entrance. Then dealing with the desk reception woman was great. Friendly and knowledgeable. Had a hiccup with first room but the issue was dealt with immediately and with little inconvenience. Room was clean and plenty of bathroom supplies. Queen beds, very comfortable. Fresh baked CC cookies in the evening is a great touch and bonus. The breakfast, excellent/awesome. Overall, a great experience.

The room condition was foul and smelled of urine. The manager, I spoke with after having to follow up on my refund the third time was rude, extremely terrible customer service here. She would not even authorize a full refund for the unsanitary conditions. She told me to call IHG. When I asked for the number she rudely told me to look it up online. We were traveling for a soccer tournament and other team mates that unfortunately booked there, including the coach, also left due to the unsanitary hotel and room conditions. AVOID THIS HOTEL!!!!!!

Advertised as having a hot tub. It does not. Gym never had heat so get ready to work out at 45°. We had 2 queen beds. One was wonderful and one was super squeaky. Breakfast was tasty. Facility was clean. They allowed us late checkout at 1 because we had a soccer tournament.

Bathroom had at least two cracked floor tiles. Toilet flow was weak and became clogged. No staff to address and requested and was moved to another room. Not set up well for recharging items.
Check-in lady was very cordial and helpful.

Everything and the staff were exactly as I expected after a long drive day’s drive. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and hot.checkout was quick and easy. The staff asked how my stay was. Excellent.

Front desk help was RUDE!
Person at the front desk was incredibly rude. When the reservation was made we asked for parking for a motorcoach and that our drivers room close together. The drivers were floors apart and we were told "if we would have gotten there earlier we could have been rooming closer to each other". Our reservations were made 5 days prior to our trip.

Holiday Inn Express is our favorite hotel. They do a great job cleaning and giving us exactly what we paid for- comfort and quality. This hotel had a pool in the back that was clean and a free breakfast. The surrounding area had plenty of restaurants and a Walmart, movie theatre, Ollie’s and close to the highway. Good location!

The room was great but was really upset because the pool was closed. My son had been looking forward to that! That was one of the reasons I had booked this hotel. They said they hadn’t been able to get it inspected 😒

Overall appearance of the property was disappointing fora Holiday Inn brand. The exterior of the property was dirty and not well maintained. Was not inviting. Upon entry of lobby, it smelled like dirty mop water was used. And the room had a musty, moldy smell. Fortunately, I travel with air freshener. That type of experience makes me not want to walk around the room without shoes on. And one final comment, when leaving, one of the staff got on the elevator with us with his trash bin. Not that I'm "too good" for that, but I just was surprised he didn't wait for the next elevator. I just have never seen that before in all of my travels. This was NOT a $160 a night experience and is unfortunately my second with an "Express" property. I will not be choosing the brand again. Sorry.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was great. Me and my friends felt very comfortable and safe.
I felt it was strange there was no ice machine on the ground floor. Also, I am short and the beds were quite high and a challenge to get up onto them. But they were very comfortable.

Terrible parking. Shares parking with quality Inn next door and a restaurant. 74 rooms and I felt like there were 50 parking places. Older facility that other businesses built up around the building. Terrible layout. The staff and breakfast very good.

Family visit for New Year 2022
The staff are very friendly and helpful. They accommodate pets which is why we chose the hotel. It is an older property that is showing its age however everything else was fine. Excellent breakfast especially for me since I have to be gluten free.

We always stop here on the way to see family. It is conveniently located off of I-77 and is always clean and comfortable. Provides a great breakfast too. The only downside is the parking lot is relatively small.
