In all the five days I stayed, they didn’t even change the towels. The location is convenient, but the lack of room service is not acceptable.

It was very loud; doors slamming and people running down hallways/stomping above at all hours. I was there for 4 nights; housekeeping did not come once! My 2 trash cans were over flowing. I needed more towels. I didn’t have hand soap for sink. TV service was spotty. I went to front desk to make another reservation for a few days later. A couple of hours later, I returned to inquire about something regarding said reservation. I was told I didn’t have an upcoming reservation, despite the fact I just made it a couple of hours prior! Very frustrating experience during this stay!

liked the bedding and towels. Breakfast selections were great.
Unfortunately, our toilet didn't flush. After the staff tried to fix it to no avail, we were moved to different room
This put a lot of stress on us since we needed to get ready for a wedding we were to attend

When I first walked in the room it smell like wet dirty rugs, the price I paid for that room was super expensive, the next day at 9:00 am there was kids crying,running in the hallway,slamming the doors and no adult supervision,and the hotel staff didn’t do anything about it , no utensils in the rooms , will never stay there again!

Bad hotel experience
I booked this hotel for my cousin coming from Miami with his wife and his daughter for 5 days vacations. No housekeeping came to clean his room, when called to address the issue they ignored him.
I heard that they put him in a so-called (special immigrant guest program) that’s why they don’t come to do his room they just hand him towels when needed. That’s very sad to be honest

Mediocre Stay for Business Trip
Stayed for four nights. The space and linens were all fine and clean. The room smelled musty and a bit like urine when entering. A group of men sat on the stoop outside each night smoking and drinking (something) - some from our group felt uncomfortable about them, but they didn’t seem interested in causing trouble. Bottom line: it was fine for a room during a short stay and offered something to eat and drink for breakfast, but if I had other options in the same price range I’d look elsewhere

Pros:
Bed was comfy. Quality shower products in nice mounted dispensers. Good nightstands with drawers. Writing desk. Blackout curtains.
Good size fridge. Coffee pot.
Cons:
Breakfast was garbage.
Phone in my room was broken, and even the electrician could not fix it—totally unacceptable!!

Great breakfast options and pretty cozy, but the TV needs a physical paper guide and has no information on what you're currently watching. The swimming pool is also closed.

If you want to sleep, do not stay here, especially room 205 adjacent to the 24/7 hotel gym. The facility is old, rundown and in disrepair. The guest room was dirty and reeked of mildew and or mold. One of the front desk staff people were completely incompetent and refused to move my room due to gym sounds at night directly behind my bed headboard. I interacted with 4 front desk staff people and three of the four were very dear, kind and professional.

I was informed upon arrival that daily housekeeping was not available and housekeeping would be scheduled every 3 days. I noticed that the room had a musty odor the day that it was cleaned and assumed it was likely due to the chemicals used to clean the carpet. My trash can was overflowing with garbage by the time I checked out. The staff was not very friendly. I definitely would not recommend this hotel.

The pictures shown for this property are nothing like what it actually looks like when you arrive. We have stayed at many Fairfield Inns and this by far was the worst. The problem started when we were trying to call the hotel directly from the number that was emailed and texted to us to let them know we were going to arrive late due to flight issues, however that number just led to a never ending loop where we could not get through to an actual person. We tried called the general reservations line from the Marriott website and the reservation person gave us the number we were already calling as the contact. That should have been our first clue as to what we would encounter.....The sink did not drain properly (ie filled up to the top just when you tried washing your hands) and I had to ask 3 times to have someone come look at it. We had to ask multiple times for extra towels (only 1 hand towel for 2 people was provided) and finally told we had to go to the front desk to get them ourselves. The breakfast area does not have any air circulation, they have run a fan to circulate air. Even the person at the front desk (which is at the breakfast area) was using her clipboard as a fan. And as far as cleanliness, on the surface looked ok but don't look too close. There are many other options in this area for this price point, in hindsight we wish we would have stayed elsewhere!

I stayed 4 day; Was here to drop off a college student. Check in was quick and pleasant. Staff completely welcoming and professional. Room was clean, well equipped, bed comfortable. I was on the 3rd floor. It was very quiet. Parking was free , plenty of spaces. Breakfast was included and was definitely appreciated.
As for the area, safe quiet, I loved that all of my retail needs were so close. Overall great experience. Would definitely recommend. I Would definitely book again. Thank you so much for great experience.

I want to be nice and usually am when leaving reviews but it’s impossible in this case. The front desk staff at this hotel is unfriendly and asks inappropriate questions, lashes out at anyone who is not a flirty man, and changes what they first agree to later to make the guest uncomfortable.

Do not stay at this hotel. It smelled like a cat litter box and air freshener trying to hide the urine smell. We stayed here for 4 days. Requested maid service three times. Never received it. The bathroom vanity area was 2' x 2'...so small for three people to put their stuff there as the sink took up most of the area. Used the iron and rust came out of it onto my shorts. There's a non-functional pool in the middle. Also, no hair dryer in rooms. This place was a terrible place to stay.

Location. Within walking distance to a large shopping ctr.
Breakfast. Lots of varieties.
Parking. Plenty of free parking space.
Dislike:
Facility. Old building, loud AC, irritating smells.
Noise. No sound proof, noise from upstairs, next door, hall way, everywhere!
Room service. I stayed 3 nights. 0 room service. They never entered my room until I left.

I didn’t like the way they responded to my complaint over the bathtub been clogged and not draining properly while taking a shower and the response was careless and less than important to them.
I will try to never again stay at this location that was in embarrassment of service. Not only to me but other guest

I pay almost 500 dls for one night and it was I tell you not well spend it.
I am very very disappointed it
I have stayed at other locations Mariott and nothing like this one.

There was an accident with booking for my son's upcoming surgery never stayed there tried to contact them to be told there was nothing to be done since they hold no responsibility. Not willing to fix an honest mistake definitely don't recommend trying to go to this hotel.

My non-smoking room reeked of smoke and cheap liquor. The next room they gave me had two drains that didn’t drain. Room furnishings (carpets, drapes, etc look dated and tired. Staff speak rapidly in Boston accent travelers aren’t used to.

Hotel location convenient rooms very dissapointing
The staff was really nice, the beakfas was decent but, the rooms were super small and the beds were even smaller, it wasnt even two queen size beds was more like a full size. The bathrooms are so small you have to sit side ways on the toilet and the bathroom fan was so loud it would wake up the entire room when using it because you couldnt turn it off as long as the light was on, it was one unit. There was only like one wall plug for an iorn or cell nothing by the bed for charging your phone and also no room lights when walking into the room. You have to walk across the room in the dark to turn on the lamp instead of the putting the lamp on a switch you can turn on.

Our room wasn’t super clean. There was a dried sticky (soda or juice) spill on the nightstand, no tissues, and one facecloth and hand towel for two people.

Great value stay

Overly disappointed
Checked in on Tuesday and checked out on Sunday. One day after complaining about when the room was going to be cleaned. I call what they give me was a half ass cleaning. The bed was never changed. Cracks in the ceiling, the door on the inside had paint on it. Not just a spot or two. By the heater near floor had rust and paint peeling. The room smile from the time I checked in. First time staying at a Fairfield Inn. I don’t think I got my money worth. Don’t think I will be staying at Fairfield Inn if they are all like the one in Dedham. I think the Marriott should blow it up, Tlair it down and start out all over again.

Place is really substandard. Our room smelled of body odor. Bathroom was tiny. You could barely move in it. Soundproofing was terrible. Lots of loud neighbors. Breakfast was good. Staff were helpful

Pusses: Comfortable room, great bed; heat controllable by thermostat; very good value for the money; continental breakfast quite varied
Minuses: re/ continental breakfast: Machine-dispensed orange juice watered down, staff don't seem to know how to adjust; scrambled eggs have that from-frozen-mix quality (micro-shreddy and watery), at least one of the mini-quiches approaching burnt on the bottom. The rest of the foods fine, though.

Comfortable and Convenient
The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were polite. Breakfast was available to eat in or go. Convenient location and perfect for our trip. Pet friendly too.

Rough night.
The AC and fan would not stay on. The room got very warm during the and the AC would kick on very loudly for maybe 10 minutes along with the fan. Did not improve the temperature in the room though. We wanted to fan to stay on as we like the white noise it provides. Unfortunately with that fan and AC off we could hear EVERYTHING in the hotel. Someone walking down the hall… could hear that. People opening and slamming their doors woke us up so many times. We got a total of maybe 4 hours sleep.
The staff was very friendly and we don’t fault them. The temperature controls need to be able to be accessible.

Great place to stay
When ever I am in this area I always chose Fairfield Inn in Dedham because I know I can count on great service and a comfortable nights rest. I also look forward to the wonderful breakfast and the variety of choices from fruit to waffles to cereal or bagels juice and coffee. Always clean and quiet and the staff is friendly and courteous.

Water got shut off with no warning a couple of times. There was water damage evident on the wall. Inconvenient layout. Housekeeping every other day which is fine but they wanted to clean as we were getting ready to checkout. There was no water at the time so not so sure how they could clean well enough.
Bathroom was very small, especially the toilet area. The doorway into the toilet and shower part of the bathroom was I believe a 24” door rather than a standard 28”. Bed was pretty high, so needed to be climbed into. It was also too soft and lumpy and felt like the sides were sloped towards the floor.

Terrible hotel. Room musty. Bed against the ac unit which made for a terrible nights sleep. Toilet clogs. Tub felt like you were going to fall through the floor. Dining attendant not wearing gloves while restocking silverware. Food area tables dirty. And woken up on Sunday morning to workers throwing pallets and garbage from the roof. Are you kidding me????? Can you say dangerous? Clients hanging outside on steps smoking. Not welcoming at all. What a huge disappointment from a Marriott.

The room was okay but our shower didn't drain well and the toilet didn't flush half of the time. They also placed us on the third floor even though the roof was being worked on so it was noisy every morning. Breakfast was surprising food and staff was extremely nice though
