I hope housekeeping will just knock and leave a letter that they attempted to clean our room instead of opening it while we were sleeping.

Nice amenities, friendly staff and decent breakfast. Hotel was cold, though, and in our room (233), the curtains didn't close so the very bright light from the street lamps poured into the room all night.

Undeclared Charges put on card and no receipt was shared yet, I was not expecting charges other then Parking fee(around $18X2 for 2 nights), Rest for room was paid to expedia including taxes and fees. Total charge was put $61.01 . No where mention for what.

Indoor hot tub was the only reason for checking into this hotel. I was surprised by the $100 deposit charge I didn't see it clearly listed anywhere before making the booking. Disappointed the bedding in the pullout couch was dirty. Wasn't free drinking water in the room and parking was a surprise cost of $18

Door card problem every day
Reviewed when I first arrived things seemed ok the place itself is good the staff friendly but a big issue with getting into my room and the immunities card wouldn’t work, either a problem with the card or they needed me to checkin three times a day not shore which ( maybe suspicious of a solo traveler ) ??

Worth the money!
Our stay was short but very nice. The room was large and comfortable. The negative is the bathroom. The sink has cracks and the handles do not turn off the water unless in a very specific spot.

Don’t be surprised if you disappointed.
My experience was not good this trip. I’ve been coming to this Holiday Inn express for approximately 2 years multiple visits throughout those years yesterday. my wife and I arrived at the Holiday Inn express about 5 PM yesterday
We checked in thru Lela & she place Us on the 4th floor into Rm 430.& 1st problem was after we got settled in we went downstairs to get into the Jacuzzi and it was in operable sign posted on the front door that was real disappointing that was the reason for getting this room.The next morning I spoke with Betty at the desk, and she said that it was out of order. I asked for luggage rack and I was told it was at the end of the hall on one of the four floors, and then proceeded to check all four floors and there was no racks available. I ended up loading my luggage by elevator 2 times without the luggage cart. by the time I get ready to put the breakfast together for my wife and I was @ the breakfast room by 8:45 and the host was taking the food away.Man this my last trip holiday Inn express South San Francisco. Thank you but no thank you for future references.

Parking was sometimes a hassle, the view I had out of my window was of warehouse, and the “queen beds” looked and felt like full beds. But otherwise the hotel was clean with all the trimmings.

I was charges 17 dollars for parking and I had to park off ground because the parking was full they said they took the parking charge off but when I got home from my trip I was still charged for parking .. please do stay at this hotel if I was to stay again in sf it would be at the Marriott or Hilton the parking is a lil more but at least you have space to park

Overall nice place. The only complaint I have are about the cleaning staff.
Even with my "no disturb sign, " i kept getting knocks for house keeping. On two occasions they just walk in. Both times i am laying there fully nude.
I had to continuously ask them not to bother me. One lady responded to me with "oh my God" as if i was in her way.
Then the hottub was broken for my whole 5 day stay.

It's decent for the price. What was truly annoying was that our room faced the McDonalds right next door and those golden arches shone through our window all day and night. The curtains don't close all the way so we had a great golden glow coming through our window all night long! There's a bit of sound from the street nearby that also comes through. We were there for a work conference and spent very little time in the room other than to sleep so being faced with noise and light was fustrating. For the price, it really helped our travel budget. You get what you pay for!

When I walked in i was immediately greeted by Jose and Lela. They were very friendly and kind. I was able to crack jokes with them and they both were friendly and smile the entire check in process. hotel was clean. room was clean. there was maid service but i decline.. i was surprised because it had only been 1 day, but the maid service was friendly also and gave me new towels. i forgot her name, but it was a short Hispanic girl.. she was so friendly. breakfast starts at 6:30AM - 9:30AM saturday and sunday, and its ready on the dot. I would recommend. oh there's good hot shower and it also comes with conditioner, shampoo, and soap... i would never thought that! and best bang for the price we stayed two nights with my wife. costco is less than 2 miles away also.

Waited over 2 hours for the shuttle to go never turned up even though I called the property over 4 times requesting an update. Finally they told me to take whatever form of transportation and they will reimburse me. Took a Lyft , upgraded for a priority pick up after waiting over 2 hours. The hotel then said they will not pay for any upgrades and no tip. This was never mentioned when they said get any ride to the hotel. Dishonest and disgusting….Absolutely no customer care and consideration.

convenient and very clean
The hotel is clean with a free breakfast and very convenient . It’s only 30 min away from downtown. There’s a free shuttle bus but we didn’t use it because we got there at midnight and a friend drove us to the airport.

30$ for over-night parking permit
The place is 7 minutes to the airport. It is okay for one night if you are traveling or landing. The building is quite old and renovated. The only sad thing is that I was charged around 30 bucks for an overnight parking permit!

I liked that the facility looked clean and put together on the surface. I also liked they had a ADA compliant room.
I did not appreciate the room any further. There was no stable sitting chair so if I wanted to sit up, I had to sist in my wheel chair
I did not like the staff, employees was on her personal phone at the front desk, eating breakfast with the guest and smoking a vape. the older gentleman in the afternoon was rude and slow he kept me standing waiting to get a replacement key for over ten minutes while was on the phone talking to someone from his personal life about how he didn't think it was fair he only got to work two days a week at this hotel.
I did not like the parking or the cost as it was too small and there were some really unsafe spots with large sharp metal pieces sticking out into the ADA parking spots, there were only two handicap parking spots that would work and a car sat in one the entire time day and night so we all had to hope we could luck up on the other ADA Spot.
The room was lacking in many ways, we did not have enough towels and when we requested more it did not happen we had to find a cleaning woman in the morning and beg for towels and got only the bare minimal. NO RAGS!
The telephone in the room was not plugged up so each time I needed to call the front desk, room service, etc. we had to call from our personal cell phones.
The water pressure in the bathroom sink and shower was really bad.
the location of the hotel was horrible also.

They said that they had an airport shuttle. What they didn't say is that it has limited hours.
The room was very bright at night with light coming in around the black out curtain. The air-conditioner was weak. The noise was continuous throughout the night both from inside and outside. I checked to see if the window was open.
They include breakfast, but don't start until 6. The shuttle starts at 5. It would have been nice to have more than just coffee offered like muffins.
The staff was very nice.

Check in and check out was easy. Nice big comfortable room. Good rate.
I waited at the Airport on arrival for the advertised hotel shuttle but didnt realize that it operates on a schedule only in the morning for a few hours and after 5.00pm for a few hours. Shower water was warm but not hot.

Not close to anything. Store, land marks or anything you have to have alot of money for transportation. The shuttle bus is a joke. They only travel some many hours morning and evening. If you have no transportation you are truly not going anywhere. Cost of taxis are to much to go see the landmark sites. Would not suggest anyone truly to stay there without a car

Horrible place!
The check-in person was quite slow and extremely rude. I was the 4th person in line. I arrived at around 730pm. I didn't get up to my room til almost an hour later. The man checking guests in wasn't only rude to me but to each party checking in (before me). When i got into the room, it smelled like mold and old carpet. I stayed for 2 hours and couldn't take it anymore so i left and never returned!!!

I enjoyed my stay overall. The property unit AC cooling was not quite up to the mark and had issues. The toilet doesn't have vent fan. Staff was friendly. The parking spots were tight and have to wait.

Best Family Stay!
It was a great stay the receptionist was very welcoming and had lots to share before giving us our room keys. Definitely the best place to stay in the Frisco area. I found my hotel to stay whenever I’m attending a Giants game.

This is my once a year go to spot when heading to vacation. Staff is always friendly and shuttle services are provided. The breakfast included in the price is a great deal since we have children. I recommend Holiday Inn Express South San Francisco.

Hotel adequate.
This hotel is a basic no frills place. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean but dated. The shower rod was rusty. The bathroom faucet had the finish worn off. The breakfast was good but basic. If you are planning on using the shuttle service from the airport make sure you check in advance, they have very limited hours for pickup and return to the airport.

I had a real issue with the hotel taking out a whole different charge for an “authorization hold”. We were told that it was to make sure that the card was legitimate. I’ve had companies do this before, but they charge a dollar and give it back to make sure the card works…not a whole room charge. I was charged as if I had stayed an extra night. And no, this wasn’t the 100 dollar deposit that most hotels keep as a hold until check out; I understood that this would happen. I was not informed that an authorization hold for another 157 dollars would be charged to my account. What if I had enough for the room and deposit, but had little to nothing left after that? On top of that, there was a wet spot in our room right next to the AC. We left a towel on it, by the next morning, it had soaked up so much water that it was genuinely heavy. I called the front desk for two extra towels, waited two hours, and then found a housekeeper on my own and asked her for towels so we could shower before checking out. The two front desk ladies were kind, but did not offer the information about the hold, nor did they ever send up towels. I will not be staying with this chain of hotels again. It was absolutely ridiculous.

The hotel charges other unseen additional service fees. They also charge 20 dollars parking fees per day. They also did not provide coffee in the reception lobby as other hotels did. The facility is somewhat old.

We called about the airport shuttle the day before. A recording stated a shuttle runs every 30 minutes. After landing, we waited 45 minutes and got through to someone at the hotel who told us the shuttle only runs in the morning and after 5:00. They suggested we take a taxi or uber. The gal at the front desk never made eye contact or smiled when we checked in and was outside the front door vaping throughout both days. The breakfast was great- well stocked, the staff did a great job there. Bed was comfortable, room was clean. Internet is terrible. Goes in and out interupting whatever you're trying to do/watch.

Flight was delayed twice. Called Holiday Inn to let them know that we will be arriving around 2AM.

We only stayed the night before a cruise. Flew into SFO and when I talked to someone on the phone the week before I was told that after 5pm the shuttle ran every 45 minutes. NOT. Called to confirm when we were at shuttle pick up at 7:10 and was told that instead of a shuttle at 7:15 it wasn't coming until 7:35. We wouldn't have rushed through the airport and outside if we knew we would have to wait almost 30 minutes for the shuttle that goes to 3 other properties along with this hotel. Room was great and breakfast was adequate for a hotel breakfast.

Mother’s Day weekend trip
Everything was great and very clean. Beds are comfortable and bathroom products were great. Front desk service was very nice during late check in and as well as check out. Kids POV, plenty of regular outlets for charging but no usb ports if you forget to bring a charger block. Still a great place to stay. My 5 yr, yellow “M” right next door (McDonald’s) if you’re little ones are in need of a Happy Meal and you can see the planes fly off from the parking lot. Definitely will stay there again on future trips.

Checked in was fairly quick. Basic hotel stay, safe location, room clean. Bathroom could use more than towels provided pump action Body wash, Shampoo & Conditioner w/small bar of soap & vile of body lotion. Coffee station was good bottle of water Crystal Geyser was expensive for the brand provided. Bed was comfortable.

The Goodwill warehouse next to the hotel has trucks and fork lifts loading and unloading early in the morning. The room is somewhat noise proof, but loading huge bins, the size of a big rig truck, and lifting them up and taking them away is so loud.
We love this hotel and have stayed here for years. This was the first time back since the pandemic.
So disappointing!
