This hotel is near airport but unclean. I requested twice for my room to be vacuumed and it was never done during my four night stay. Fresh towels and bed made but no cleaning service of bathroom, hair everywhere. My colleagues toilets didn’t work. Carpet in bad shape.

The hotel had a very musty smell on the hallway and rooms. Fire alarm went out so the elevator didn’t work. I just had major surgery and had to walk three flights of stairs

The property is set back from the highway so there is no road noise. The aircraft from Miami airport can be heard but it is not that noticeable. The rooms are large and have TV with good channels. The breakfast buffet is OK. Parking can be in short supply.

What I did not like was room wasn’t cleaned properly from dust, bathroom wasn’t clean and a dead roach inside of the picture frame. Carpet needs to be clean as well very smelly. Renovation is definitely needed.

I've stayed here several years now and all of a sudden they started charging $7.00 a day for parking. It is not a resort and there's no valet parking so why the charge?

The fees shown for this property DOES NOT include parking fees or breakfast.
Hotel does housekeeping every 3 days.
I asked for them to give me new towels and toilet paper since we were 3 in the room and was told that someone would get to the room to help but never came.
Breakfast had an additional fee but two of the 3 days I stayed there, kitchen was not working and breakfast was not available.
This hotel is overpriced.

Electricity kept turning off on first night. A/C wasn’t working properly - too loud and became hot when it turned so it was uncomfortable to sleep and keeps kicking in and out which disturbed my sleep.
Should advise guest of the hospital policy on receiving packages - wasn’t informed and charged for extra packages.

The room was dirty. Popcorn on the floor. Bathroom was dirty with old soap still in it. Fart fans in the bathrooms rattle and are loud. Can hear other rooms fans running. Breakfast was not included in the high price of a room. No water in vending machines, but plenty in the lobby pantry for $3 a bottle. I will never stay again.

I booked a room in this hotel a while ago. After an hour from booking, hotel staff called me and they said they did not have available room for me and that if I wanted to stay there for a night I had to do upgrade and pay extra for higher class room. When I arrived there they met me with police and made me leave the hotel area, there was no available hotels nearby, so I had to stay outside for a night.

The property was in an ideal location. It only took 30 minutes to get to Miami Beach and 40 minutes to Fort Lauderdale. There were many restaurants a short drive away as well. I would definitely stay here again.

Pool, restaurant and bar where closed. We only stayed here because it was advertised as a full service hotel. The manager said they were doing a trial with the restaurant and BSR closing on weekends. Bad idea! The pool had no water. Very disappointing.

This was the worst hotel stay i have ever had. The receptionist who worked during the day was very nice, but the second shift receptionist was very rude. No one filled the lemonade pitcher up front, and we had no access to any water unless paying for bottled. When inquired she simply stated that she doesnt do that, the morning shift fills. It was never filled following morning. I reported blood leaking from a women's jp drain all over floor where water bottles and food to purchase is stored, and when i mentioned it to receptionist she apologized, but 30 minutes later still blood splatters all on floor. Also the hotel room had rusted light fixures, stains on carpet, hairs in the shower. It was literally the worst.

We were able to check in early. The poor girl at the desk was swamped by herself at the desk. We got in our room and the sheets were dirty and the phone didnt work. The bathroom exhaust looked like it had never been cleaned. The shower curtain had dirty fingerprints on it. There were so many shipping containers around the hotel parking was limited. Definitely not worth the price we paid per night.

Booked this property because of Expedia advertised stay, park and fly, Expedia said this property had 24 airport shuttle and free parking onsite, upon check in the clerk told me it was $10 a day to park my car and they had NO 24 hour shuttle, and had some outside courier service to take me to the airport starting at 6am and ending at 4pm with no pick up service, this was completely opposite of what Expedia advertised on this property, my flight left at 6am so I had to scramble for some airport parking that is costing me $18 a day!! Thanks Expedia!👍

Bare minimum hotel standards far from met
From the moment we checked in this Holiday Inn failed to meet the basic expectations you have when staying in a hotel. Upon walking into our first room it smelt horribly of weed and cigarette smoke. We immediately went back downstairs to have our room changed. Though our room was promptly changed no apology was offered. Our next room had a hole in the wall, the card reader on the door was defective, mold in the bathroom and on the ceilings, stains on all the linens, and a wonderful hair all on a clean towel. One day we left and our room smelt clean and when we returned it smelled like weed and cigarettes. For someone traveling with a small child and who is pregnant this is completely unacceptable. Upon checkout management wasn’t even on site until 10 am to address all of my concerns. This hotel was not cheap by any means and in a nice part of town, so to be dealing with these issues was incredibly disappointing. Do not waste your money here. Better off staying at a motel where at least I’m saving money for the same level of cleanliness and hospitality.

i would like to write to express my total dismay with regards to the poor service provided by your staff at the above-mentioned hotel during my stay from 11/30 till 12/2.
My specific complain is with the Lady at the Breakfast area, her name is Kiara or Keira.
I have never met such an unpleasant person greeting customers at an hospitality building, specially at a Hotel.
At the time I arrived for breakfast, about 8:20 AM, there were empty tables with no Glasses or Cutlery available, probably due to the rush hour there is not enough time to accommodate the tables as it should be.
I asked Mrs Kiara or Keira if she can get me some metal cutlery for my breakfast since there were none on the table, she just opened a drawer and try to give me two sets of plastic cutlery in a plastic bag, I asked if she can get me the regular ones since I am not a fan of using plastic cutlery, specially in a hotel where I am paying over USD 200 a night. She just said, metal cutlery is not available, show me trash of dirty cutlery, and throw at the table the two sets of plastic cutlery and walked away.
Formal complaint sent to the Manager. Still waiting reply.

No shuttle on arrival at airport. No one was answering the telephone at the front desk although we were calling directly for shuttle.
No microwave available on request despite advertising.
Water backing up in bath tub. Reported but nothing done to rectify. Phone in room was non functional. Reported to front desk personnel but not rectified.
Noisy AC in room. Musty smelling dirty looking carpet triggered allergies. Exhaust fan in bathroom was not switching off.
Lobby was nicely decorated though.

Great stay!
Great service, arrived, checked in. Got to the room. Halls were quiet, ac was ice cold. Pool was cold but nothing they could do about that lol. We enjoyed our stay. Beds were so comfortable. I didn’t want to go!

The staff was friendly and the room was quiet. The only thing i had an issue was the cleaning of the room. We left at 830 in the morning and we came back around 3 in the afternoon and the room was still not cleaned. I had to call the front desk to have the room cleaned. The second time the room was cleaned, it was not vacuumed and all towels and wash rags were not replaced. There were only 2 bath towels and a hand towel that was replaced. I had to call the front desk again to have the towels replaced. Then the wrong towels were brought to the room. Also, I’m not sure how often the bath was supposed to be cleaned but I also noticed the bath was not cleaned. I was kind of over it by then.

1st room was recently cleaned, still with very strong smells of chemicals. We told the front desk and they gave us a different room immediately, along with a voucher for breakfast. We had to leave early the next day, before the breakfast time. Still we appreciate the hospitality. He have stayed at Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express a number of times

Where do I start? This hotel is in a central location for airport stays. However, the rooms are horrible. They smell like mildew, the carpet looks like it has mildew, there were bedbugs in my room, and the bed sheets weren’t clean. Just would not stay at a holiday inn anymore. The price was ok but to deal with all of these issues it wasn’t worth it.

The location was perfect. The hotel itself needs a lot of upgrades and maintenance. The AC didn’t work on the 6th floor so everytime you opened the door it was like a 90degree oven. The phone didn’t work in our room. Parking is non existent after 9pm.

From the outside, this looks like a decent place. The lobby was beautiful and updated, the staff was very nice. However, when we got off the elevator to go to our room, we saw the upper levels were pretty beat up. Sconce covers ripped, dented, and in disrepair. The doors to the rooms looked like they had all been broken in at one time or another. Inside the room, the furniture was pretty beat up and outdated, but it was worst in the bathroom. Our sink had a giant crack in it, the vanity was gouged, dented, and scratched from what looked like decades of wear and tear. Also, you need 8ft long arms to reach the toilet paper if you are sitting on the toilet. Very poorly designed. The mattress was comfortable enough, but the pillows were awful and made it almost impossible to get a good night sleep. But the worst part was how DAMP the room was. We had the AC set to 75 when we left to get dinner, and when we came back the room was unbelievably moist. We had to crank the AC down to 60 degrees to get the humidity in the room to subside, and even then the room still had a moist, musty smell to it. When I got up the next morning and got dressed, my clothes, socks and shoes were damp, just from being in the room. For the price they charge for this room, I could look past the beat up furnishings, but at the bare minimum, the climate control should be on point, and the room should not smell musty.
