Amazing!
One of the nicest hotels we’ve had the pleasure to stay in and we’ve stayed In hotels all over the US.
My husband is handicapped and the general manager helped meet the needs he had. She was wonderful!

Located at the Marina on the ICW. Beautiful view, room was spotless!
We were allowed to check in early and check out late (1pm) at no extra charge!
Fantastic comfortable bed and the pillows were a dream! We now want to know where to get the bed and pillows!! Hint ~ Hint Management 😉

Free basic Continental breakfast.
Snack bar is limited so bringing your own snacks would be advised.
Fantastic customer service, room was extremely clean and well stocked. Only 2 k-cups in room with powdered creamer. You can go to the lobby and stock up on extra k-cups (ask front desk), International liguid creamer with sugar added ( you can pump reg or French Vanilla into a coffee cup to put in your room refrigerator for the morning 😁) or half & half in the single small individual cups). Slenda as well as equal is available as well. Stock up on your way to the room so you have plenty of coffee as well as supplies in the morning.
We highly recommend the Balcony Suite ❤️ It has a wonderful view.
Check in and out was extremely easy. Very accessible parking. No hidden fees at check out!
I would recommend calling the hotel directly for room selection. Listings on site do not list all rooms that are available.
Keep up the good work and we look forward to staying at this establishment again in the future!

Road noise
Very nice stay for one night. Lots of traffic noise if you stay in the front rooms. Definitely try to stay in the back near harbor for on road noise.

A good choice for a N. Myrtle beach hotel.
We enjoyed out stay at the Holiday Inn Express. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and the location is excellent, right on the marina. Another bonus was an excellent restaurant next door called Clarkes.

We got to the hotel around 2pm and asked if we could check in early. The person at the desk said our room was being cleaned (which told me our room had already been assigned?). We went back about 4:30pm and a different person told us that no rooms had been assigned when she got there and didn't know why because they usually are. She then assigned us a pet friendly, handicap accessible room 3 feet from the lobby. We requested neither of these. The room was clean and didn't smell like pets which was good. The breakfast was great. Window shades would be nice in the dining room because more than half the tables were in the sun. The price was good for the area and would stay here again for sure but would ask for a room on one of the upper floors.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. They have everything you'd need...hair dryer, ironing board and iron, etc I loved the pump bottles of soap and lotion. Breakfast is awesome! Huge variety of hot and cold.Yachts right out the huge glass windows in the breakfast room. Highly recommend.

I had booked a king-sized (bed) room that was pet friendly. I got a pet-friendly room with two queen size beds. When i questioned the staff she said that they reserve rooms as indicated by Expedia. I.e., not their fault. And then they charged $35 for my dog for one night. Had no idea that there would be a charge. Although it probably wouldn't have caused me to reserve elsewhere, i should have been made aware that there was a charge coming.

Perfect for a quick overnight. Clarks right next door was great. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was nice addition. I would get the smokers away from the front door if possible. Everything else was great.

This property I would recommend the staff were friendly accommodating and respectful also the hotel were clean and comfortable, the breakfast room view pleasantly nice there were food to accommodate different tastes. I was extremely pleased with the price thanks to all the staff for a well kept and friendly atmosphere.

Mold in our room. Water in the bathroom floor when we first walked in. After flushing the toilet a few times we realized the water was from the toilet. Odd smell. Wet carpet near the window when it rained. Leaking roof in breakfast area. Stains on sheets and pillow cases.
Will not stay here again and will not recommend.

Great place to stay
We had a great experience at the Holiday Inn in Little River. The staff was polite and helpful, some were even friendly. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was very good and the menu varied each day. We stayed there because it is pet friendly, but we found a place that we liked and will return. There is a nice restaurant beside it and a McDonalds on the other side if you prefer fast food.

Not the best experience, not the worst
We had an emergency, our condo flooded due to a pipe bursting. Checking in was fine, the attendant was quite helpful. The upstairs hallway smelled like mildew and the room smelled like mildew and urine and the bed looked like someone had been on it. I know Hotel.com guests don't get the best rooms but really no one should have been given that room.
It was quite nice to come down for coffee since the machine in our room did not work and the breakfast was good - I wish there had been a few more options for a gluten-intolerant girl like me (hashbrowns, gf bagels or waffles), but a hot breakfast was a nice thing to have.

The front desk rep was very nice, I believe that her name was Mary or Marion. She was pleasant, helpful with information about restaurants and beaches. I stayed at this hotel many years ago, maybe it was new and I loved it. This time the room was clean, but dated, I didn't like the sofa or the chair. The toilet handle had to be held in order for it to flush. Overall I was pleased with the hotel and it's location.

Overall good experience however they cancelled my reservation stating it was a duplicate. If that’s the case why cancel both reservations. Thank goodness they still had availability and was able to reinstate the reservation. Now my credit card has been charged twice

Old, tired hotel- that doesn’t care!
Awful! I can not believe we paid almost $400 for one night at this hotel. Wanted to switch credit cards and receptionist told us it was already paid for?! No shampoo or body wash in shower (of course found out when I got in the shower. Ask woman in charge of breakfast bar for hot water as they were out and she said ok and continued to finish jer conversation. Old. Dreary and NOT WORTH THE MONEY. Worst HI Express we have stayed in.

Friendly staff!
Very friendly staff! The people who were at the lobby desk, breakfast crew and housekeepers were wonderful. My husband commented how friendly everyone was. This was our 4th stay at this property and will continue to stay here when we visit the area.

Have stayed at this hotel a few times in the past. Would think after a two years rehab it would have been better. Mold, pealing ceiling and rude staff. Highlight would be Bill, the all around guy who did everything and was everywhere, so nice and polite.

Everything was fine except the outdoor pool. There was all kind of debris in it and when I mentioned it to the desk they said maintenance checks the chlorine level every day, but it wasn't cleaned in the three days we stayed and there was outdoor garbage sitting there the whole time also. The inside of the hotel was fine.

The way the property looks online is not how it looks in person. It is kind of aged in person (and has popcorn ceilings…) and has a very weird smell. Kinda like a mix of smoke, pee and cleaner…. Also the room was humid and cool at the same time….I can’t explain it but that’s the next explanation I could come up with. It’s almost like the A/C fan was on but not the actual A/C. This was my first time staying at a Holiday Inn Express and most likely my last. The staff was super nice though.

I don't understand how people rated this hotel 4 stars. I'm not that picky about hotels, but I do expect to have an air conditioner that works, comfortable bed, good shower, and a decent breakfast if breakfast is included. We had 2 out of 4. And honestly the air conditioner not working properly really pissed me off. And the way they addressed it was bad as well. The staff was honestly quite bad. I received an attitude from one of them about addressing the air conditioner and possible changing rooms- which they suggested since I guess they didn't want to deal with the air conditioner. I don't recommend this hotel and wouldn't to anyone. Pay more and get a better hotel, function air conditioner, and much better breakfast. The breakfast didn't even have real eggs. Really, powdered eggs? You should not have eggs for breakfast if you can't take the time to have real eggs.

The staff was the best I’ve seen in while. Better than a recent 5 star hotel stay. The manager, housekeeper Renee & the breakfast attendant working solo were the best. We were there for a funeral and the manager was so nice to my mom and family waiting in the lobby for us. Renee had our room clean & was helpful when we checked out & needed to bag our trash. The breakfast attendant was so nice to my grandchildren my daughters & myself. The pancake machine kept jamming and she was so patient getting it to work for the kids even though I told them they could get cereal instead. She got them the pancakes they waited for and was so nice. I was impressed everywhere I turned. One con tho…room 421 the shower entrance is not pregnant belly friendly at all. Such a tight squeeze to get in & out. Not pregnant friendly at all. They need to rethink the glass doors on that one. Overall though the beds we’re comfortable, the rooms clean, ice maker & elevator worked & were clean. The halls were clean & smelled clean. Everything was neat & nothing appeared raggedy, disheveled or in need of renovation. Oh & the yacht view was so good. We’ll definitely stay again!

Best in Little River, SC
I believe the best hotel by far in Little River. Rooms are clean and comfortable, staff is friendly and attentive and the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices to please any diet. Will definitely stay here again!

The hotel really needs updating. We requested a handicap king suite and in spite of expedia showing one available the hotel didn't have any available. Were given a standard room with two queen beds but they did provide a shower chair. Staff was very pleasant.

The staff was very hospitable and friendly. They were a 10 out of 10.
The rooms were updated, secure and the views from the property were really nice.
The only issue I noticed was it wasnt as clean as you would expect and up keep should be monitored. However, once brought to the managers attention she promptly took action and moved rooms to a more satisfactory room.
Seemed like a good hotel for families and seniors.
