This property was poorly staffed, the room we reserved and pre-paid for was not available when we got there. Burn holes throughout the bedding, door licked was extremely hard to get in and the overall smell of the place was terrible. I will never recommend nor stay at this place again. Staff was rude.

The front desk refused to let me sit in the lobby. The room was dirty and the door was not secure. People were fighting in parking lot outside my room and the property and room felt unsafe. Not to mention the front desk refused to refund me after only staying in the room for less then 2hours.

You have to see it to believe it!
I don't know how this place can pass any inspections. Electronic door locks freeze in the locked mode preventing you from entering or leaving your room. Doors were rusted on the inside, wifi was non existent. Lobby had been closed for quite some time citing repairs. Check in person had an attitude if your question required her to get out of the chair. My check in to check out was less than 1 hour. Sleeping on the street would be an upgrade.

This is the most nastiest place I’ve ver visited! The carpet is filthy the restrooms were nasty and the place stunk so badly!
I wouldn’t let a pack of dogs visit this place!
It should be torn down and fined!

Eh could be better
It was a little sketchy but it was clean in a way, I didn’t have any trouble beside asking for toilet paper & not getting refunded for the night I didn’t use. Oh & the hotel it’s old like some of the steps are rotten & I actually almost fell because of it but it is kind of cheap.

Bed Bug Exposure
1 star hotel. Rude staff. Bed bug exposure causing us to leave early and replace/wash all of our personal items. There are people living out of the hotel with no sense of respect while cat calling me while visiting. A major mistake choosing this place to stay.

My room stunk like mold and mildew. The primary light in the room did not work. The tv remote didn’t work. When I went to the desk to complain and get it fixed the first time I got codes, the second directions, I never went for a third time. They claimed to be full but the lot was empty. This dump isn’t even worth it’s really cheap rates.

Bed bugs on the beds, could barely sleep. Plus this hotel is very sketchy. You’ll see people around that may have their eye on your car. Stay away, not worth saving money.

An Indian man working at the front desk is very nice. He helped me find a taxi. The taxi driver was a kind Indian guy also. He sent me to the bus station safely.

Raised the amount by 40 more dollars to have a 2 bed when the ad said that I was renting a 2 bed room, No linens in the room had to go get them myself. Bathroom door broken could not close it, linoleum coming up off the floor. Cigarette burns on bath tub. smoke alarm was removed from the room and not replaced. Never again will I sleep there

Honestly for the cost, The Red Carpet had all the amenities of most motels and my go to.
I just don't like that I'm unable to request my specifics online, resulting in having to pay more when I get there. Is this an Expedia or Red Carpet issue? The Red Carpet management always honor the online cost... honorable

Saturday somebody made a party some girls naked and guys screaming all night and the carpet so dirty and smell dirty too and i have to add that the toilet it doesn’t work property.. i’ll not come back… thanks anyways…

Close to Pass In Review
Didn't expect much for the cost. Great location minutes from the Navy Welcome Center and the base for graduation. Was nice to have somewhere close to bring our sailor on liberty to talk about his 10 week adventure. Only other good I can say is the size of our room. 3 super uncomfortable beds, 1 in the loft and 2 downstairs. Room looked like it hasn't been cleaned in weeks. Even found a gambling ticket from 5 weeks earlier. Had to ask for the plunger to fix the toilet, which continued to run most of the stay. The room served it's purpose but I'd probably look at other hotels nearby if another one of my kids goes Navy.

I travel frequently for work and am generally not picky about hotels. I could get past the cigarette burns in the bedding, the cracked television screen, stale 1970s basement stale smoke smell, the paint-chipped walls and strange layout; however the paper-thin walls combined with what i can only assume was a 10-hour long pogo-stick competition in the room above me causing constant creaking, banging, and dust to fall from the ceiling onto my bed from about 6 pm until 3:30 am is where the buck stops. That being said, it gets a star because the location was pretty good adjacent to GLNB and there was a gas station........for Gatorade. Wont stay here again.

Quiet, comfortable and friendly staff
I come here every couple of months and it's always peaceful and the staff is always extremely friendly. I'm thankful motels like this still exist because they are rare. Price is always affordable and the room is nice and clean. Staff always treats me like a friend.

the front desk staff was rude at check in, the beds are very uncomfortable, the pillows are horrible and definitely old and need to be replaced and the room was not very clean, the handrail to the upstairs room was loose and broken. my child got cut on the screw that was loose from the railing and pinched her hand in the loose railing on more than one night. the water pressure in the shower is awful at best, and the bathroom itself was unclean. we bought cleaning supplies to clean the room and disinfectant for the beds which smells of urine.

Not going back.
This was our second stay within 60 days and this stay the rooms were worse than first stay. Room was not clean. Sink area had colored stuff on the wall and dryer plug and bath tub had scum in it. There was debris on the floors and especially dirt build up around the floor base boards. Sheets had stains. We booked room for 5 people were provided two bath towel and a partially used roll of TP.

Overall suitable accomodations for attending Navy functions. Only issue I had was that walls do not block neighbors at all. I personally had folks next door that seemed to want to party between 1 and 2 am disturbing any hopes to get some sleep.

This place is so disgusting! There was dirty toliet paper on the roll! The bed linens has cigarette burns in them. And the carpet was filthy. A mysterious crusty white spot that my kids insisted was bodily fluids. Navy RTC should not recommend this place.

I booked it for the family room, but the upstairs room was so hot, we couldn't sleep up there. The ceiling fan was falling off the ceiling so we could not use that either. The smoke detector was hanging by its wires, probably not a working detector.

The room next to us was a smoking room. Our room was a non-smoking room. The smoke came thru the walls all night long. People were setting off fireworks in the parking lot. A party was going until 4:30am. Outside a couple was yelling at each other at the top of their voices. I would not recommend anyone to stay here.

My son's navy graduation
Room smelled of smoke. Cigarette burn holes in bedding. See through towels. I did like the sleeping situation. Everyone had there own bed.
Would also liked it if there was another lock on door.
Bathroom fan was loud it woke everyone up if someone had to go to the bathroom.

It was the worst i ever seen i paid 236 dollars for a room we didnt even stay in for a night and got no refund on it im so disappointed the shower didnt work bare wires where a fire alarm was were hanging out of the ceiling windows on room didnt have locks they use a peice of wood and the room was nasty never again never inlost 236 for a room i couldnt even stay in

Dated hotel, 3 beds in 1 rental for a good price
Very ran down and dated hotel. Very old carpet and not the cleanest room. Some of the outlets were connected to the light switches. Almost didn’t charge phones and have alarms to wake up due to this. We could smell cigarette smoke through the bathroom vent coming into our smoke free room. Spots on our bed spread. Very creeky floors. We had a loft upstairs that sounded like the floor was going to collapse onto the first level.
Only hotel in the area that we found with one king bed and two double beds in one room. Decently priced.

On the website it says the property is pet friendly however upon check-in I was advised that they are not pet friendly and will allow a 1 time exception to allow my dog.

You get what you pay for. We grabbed this place because we could afford it to see our son's Navy graduation, we only needed to spend two nights and didn't expect much, and we didn't get much.
Some highlights: (cons will have a -, pros will have )
- Some of the furniture was broken.
- There was short hair visible on the bedding that belonged to other people. It was unclear if this was hair that made it through the wash, or if the hotel simply didn't change the bedding at all and just remade the beds and called it a day. They seemed/smelled clean otherwise.
- The bar and grill across the lot is very loud at night with a dance floor. Bring earplugs or get used to the bass sound all night.
- There was just one heater/AC system in the whole room so it was ice cold when we came in and took hours to warm up.
The bed was surprisingly comfortable. normally beds are too hard or too lumpy or too broken in. Our bed was actually pretty nice.
Good easy-to-find location for the Naval Graduations, just down the street, and lots of food options within 10 minutes drive.
Cheap.
Free wifi for the graduation weekend.
For most people the cons I listed will be a deal-breaker. Especially the questionable cleanliness. I have never been to a hotel where I saw not just one stray hair like it might have come from the cleaning staff, but lots of hair, like they don't really clean the beds. They felt and smelled clean, but then why the stray hair?

The staff was super friendly and helpful. I thinks the bed was comfortable and the air/heat worked amazingly. It got a little noisy at times but nothing to bad. It exceeded expectations and was affordable.

well to start with the rooms are in ok condition for the price point. But over all the place just needs updating. The hair dryer didn't work, there is no do not disturber sign. It's ok at best. It's in a prim location...it just needs updating.

Quiet, safe, and reliable stay
I said here for 4 nights. Originally booked for 2, but my trip got extended and this location was serving the purpose I needed for the first few nights so I felt comfortable enough to stay here the entire time. The entire time I was here, it seemed as though there were plenty of open rooms and it was quiet and clean. It wasn’t anything fancy, but that was perfectly fine with me! I just needed somewhere to sleep and be out of the snow. The staff were friendly each time I went up to book another night which was good.

Beg bugs.
Didn't even stay. Drove over six hours to get there. Walk in the room & immediately find huge bed bugs on the mattress. Even though I wouldn't have taken another room, they didn't offer one. Pretty sure they have a issue.

So bad I didn't spend a night. I asked for my money back. Sheets were dirty and burned, locks on doors were broken, bather full of mold, sir conditioner cables were out. Terrible and never in my live I would have stayed there in those conditions

When we first arrived I went in to pay for the room the lady at the front desk never greeted me no hello no how are you no welcome no nothing all she did was take my money and hand me the room key card when we got in the room looked like it had never been cleaned and the beds looked like they had been slept in and the sheets just thrown up on the bed the floors had dirt and hair on them only one towel and one wash cloth and one roll of toilet paper was just a very dirty place and will never stay there again

They don’t accept ESAs. I tried to change my reservation and they wouldn’t let me have a refund. This property is owned by heartless savages who are discriminatory, inhumane and evil. I’m homeless and nearly broke living in my car and without support. I was told by the property manager that I was just a easy $50 and annoying. I will be contacting the news as well as the IDHR HUD and the BBB.

First room they put us in was non-smoking but had cigarette burns and blood stains on the bedding. It absolutely reeked of cigarettes. Thankfully they let us change
rooms. The next one they put us in was almost as bad. At least it didn't have blood on the bedding and only smelled like weed. I should have read the reviews so it's my own fault. Spend the extra few dollars and get a room anywhere else.

The most disgusting place I have ever seen!
This place was disgusting! It is dated from the outside. When we checked into the room, the handrail to the loft was broken just dangling. The bathroom had not been cleaned and still had used bottles of shampoo and soap on the counter, the floor had obviously not been swept or mopped in a long time based on the amount of dust stacked up in the corners and there was snot and crap stuck to the walls and back of the door. There was a white powder (like comet) all over the shower fixtures. I refused to stay there. The front desk person seemed shocked and perplexed about the condition, but gave me a full refund. We moved to the Courtyard instead. This place may be very close to the RTC for graduation, but it is disgusting, stay elsewhere!

Not terrible if you're just sleeping. Close to Navy base. No coffee or continental. Bare bones. Definitely worn and a little sketchy but we were just glad to be near the base for graduation. Did not stay longer than just sleeping and showering. BRING YOUR SHOWER SHOES.
