I absolutely loved all of the amenities - the sauna, hot tub, spa - and I took advantage of them all. I had a very relaxing stay, loved the in-room products, my room was so big, and the bar area is so chic. I loved it so much!

We had two sparkling water in the room bar. They have a price tag said sparkling water is: $5/tin. When we checked out and asked for the invoice they said their printer not working and will email me shortly. But when I received the email I found we been charged $8/tin. I called them and been transferred back forth and ended up I need to leave a message to somebody work in their billing department but no body called me back.

Cheap hair dryer, not working after used once. The hot tub temperature is so cold, can’t consider as “hot” tub. After asked staff, he said it’s just the way it is.

The room I was given was cold the entire time. It is because there is a very small heat vent that heats the entire room but can never get hot enough or push enough warm air into the room.

Holiday weekend getaway
All of the staff from the doormen to the concierge, reception to housekeeping, was courteous amd friendly. No ask was to small and attention to every detail made our stay exquisite. The room, elevators, lobby, and hallways we immaculate. The room was kept stocked with everything we needed.

We waited an hour for the valet to take our car and an hour after we had already called the car on the following day we still had to wait to receive it! They charged us $81.90 per night for valet regardless of the inconvenience! I tried to speak to someone 4 times and the lady on the phone hung up the phone on me without even caring! Rooms are extremely small, old and overpriced for what they are! Don’t waste your time and money on this hotel!

Valet was great and the engineer. Room service was good , maids great. The manager however, when our room had no heat suggested a space heater. Took my complaint to get a new room. We got salads to go , got no dressing called the manager she said go talk to the bar since you ordered from them. I won't spend my money here ever again.

I think it’s a problem exclusive to North America; fairmont elsewhere is a definition of luxury and going above and beyond in means of hospitality
In North America all the luxurious chains are not luxurious, they can barely compete with 4 star hotels in Dubai or Europe

The valet, front desk, and housekeeping were exceptional. Great location, beautiful lobby, restaurant and bar. Downside, we did not have a coffee maker in our room, we requested fridge and microwave, was not in the room when we arrived. Later placed on the floor and inconvenient to use. Reserved a deluxe king, square footage was not 430 with a dressing area. Specifically left shopping to return for “ Golden hour” at the bar for apps and drinks. Server walked by our table and dropped a bar menu (after sitting for sometime) did not greet us, and walked away. When she returned we asked about Golden Hour and she said it was not available because of the “holidays”, this was November 13. We ordered water, two dirty martinis and a Roy rogers. After about 5 minutes she returned with only the Roy rogers, and said martinis would be coming soon. We waited 10 minutes for the drinks and still no water. We requested it when she dropped the martinis in the smallest, cordial glasses I’ve ever seen. The bill was $43.00, poor service. Very disappointing.

Top end hotel with classic design and atmosphere combined with professional staff in every position. Attention to detail, service and quality is evident from the rooms, to the lobby to the frontdoor men. Location is fantastic, juat a few blocks from great shopping, dining, waterfront and tourist attractions. Only place we stay when in Seattle.

Staff was amazing. Our bar server Shelby was absolutely the best. She was so personable and made us feel special. Our server Bertram at the restaurant was attentive and friendly. Will definitely return because he made our dinner special.

Historic hotel
The hotel is almost 100 years old and a very beautiful place with wooden decorations on the walls and marble staircases in the lobby. It is the city landmark as well. There are 2 upscale restaurants and a coffee bar in the hotel. We also had "high" tea in the George on Sunday. This was an interesting experience that was not traditional English high tea. The hotel is very conveniently located in downtown close to the symphony hall and theaters. At the same time this location does not imply "quiet" rooms. The traffic noise is quite noticable until midnight and starts again way before 6am. The room was very clean with some nice upgrades. We stayed there for 3 nights visiting Seattle for concerts, which was fine, but not sure about a longer stay. The staff is very professional and helpful.

Restaurant needs lunch options on a weekend stay..
Very nice hotel, although we were disappointed with the lack of lunch options on a Saturday afternoon - only a very expensive fixed brunch menu in the restaurant and a limited lunch menu at the bar in the lobby. Unfortunately the bar isn't terribly warm or welcoming for an afternoon lunch.

The Fairmont is a beautiful property, the rooms are lovely and very spacious. Housekeeping were amazing with fabulous attention to detail. However the service at the bar and restaurant was sadly not up to the standard one works expect. Seattle itself is disgusting, I will never go back there and would not recommend it to anybody.

Old & dark (not in landmark hotel way). Undergoing major outside work which meant excessive noise during the day. Area surrounding hotel unsafe & abandoned except the terrible number of homeless & drug users (couldn’t even let our teenagers walk outside with our dog alone). Nothing around the hotel without walking down to the pier/market. Absolutely dead at night with no food options after 6 pm & room service ends at 10 p. Do not stay downtown seattle.

Checkin not great but reasonable. No one seemed to be able to get in before 4pm. And some struggling even then. Nice hotel. Decent pool. Overpriced for a very dodgy neighborhood. 550 per night is absurd for that location. But room is nice

The Fairmont is the Fairmont but the property looks antiquated. The service was not as stellar as most Fairmont hotels. The door valet barely remembered to open and close half the time and just kept chatting with patrons. Granite countertops are outdated design from the 90s. The place needs a bit of a renovation. The Fairmont in Santa Monica is amazing so is the when in OC. The fitness center is extremely lack luster and depressing. There are so many misses with this property. I went and checked into a neighboring Sheraton which was much newer.
