We only stayed one night and honestly im glad that was it. Staff was super friendly but our room was soooo outdated and we literally had to slam our door to get it close. Carpets were gross too. Kinda bummed i chose this hotel and not my other option i had in mind especially for the price. Would only stay here again if there werent any other hotels available.

I was skeptical for quality and excellence because of the cheaper rate compared to other nearby hotels. Wow, glad we chose this place, pool- beautiful, room- clean, comfortable, staff- caring to your needs. Thanks. We will definitely stay again!

While the rooms were nice and well kept, the carpet needed cleaned (bottom of my feet were brown/black from the carpet) would be my one and only suggestion for them to fix. The property was well maintained, pools were great and several eating options within walking distance and the car parking lot was well lit and secure! I would stay again and recommend to family and friends.

Very nicely kept resort with two swimming pools (one with a waterfall), and a hot tub. Out back is the original “African Queen” from the movie! Clean rooms. Good service.

The pools and staff are lovely, however the rooms and exterior are dated and really need to be refurbished. The air conditioning in the room sounded like jet engine each night. The room was adequate but the floor was not mopped each day and was very dirty on our feet. In the end we cleaned it ourselves. This is a good location for restaurants and for access to snorkelling.

Beautiful property and staff was on point. My only complaint was pool temperature. Pool should absolutely be heated. Solar heating at least. I’m a pool guy so that was a big one for me.

My son called it "Mid", fitting.
For a 3 star hotel, the beds were comfortable. The place was clean but worn. If you are looking for fancy, its not the place for you. If you need a nice bed and clean bathroom, this fits the bill.

Ant infested room with hardly working bathroom fixtures falling apart. Heat restricted shower temperature as if we’re going to burn ourselves. By far the worst Holiday inn I’ve ever stayed at.

We’ve stayed here a few times now, unfortunately this time after a storm which seemed to have left areas looking a bit shabby. Possibly some areas are in need of some refurbishment but the staff are fantastic and we’ll certainly stay again

The only complaint was they seem to think it was a good idea to wash the walkways during the morning. Walking thru puddles of soapy water and hoses to get to breakfast and to checkout. I slipped twice

Check-in process was problematic, the pool was ice water cold, ordered a pizza at the bar and the pizza wasn’t cooked and still tasted like dough. The room was really old and cleanliness was marginal.

The property grounds are nice but room was still a little outdated. Refrigerator didn’t work and also didn’t have a freezer shelf (I use to re-freeze ice blocks for the cooler). Not a major problem but for the price I expect a room in nicer conditions. Staff is very friendly and other amenities were fine.

Check in was fast but I asked if there was a hot tub on property and was told there wasn’t one. Walking to breakfast, we passed the pool area and saw a hot tub. Had to call front desk for a replacement coffee maker, gal who took call was abrupt and said one would be sent up. I called a couple minutes later to ask about getting a couple waters and she answered my call with “it’s on its way”. I told her I was calling to see if store was still open downstairs to get some waters, she replied no an hung up on me. Breakfast was good. Skippers next door for dinner and drinks was great

Could not enjoy the pool it was simply freezing when I booked I asked several time if the pool had heater and they clearly lied.
So I was very disappointed.

There were cockroach, ants, and my kids freak out. I had to leave one night earliest of so much humidity that place had. The carpet was all dirty, and smell horrible. I stated 7 year ago at the same place and there was not like that. I won’t come back for sure.

Nice place for a few nights
Overall, the hotel was good. The room is a nice size and the beds were comfortable. The location is excellent if you have a car. The only issue we had was that the floor felt tacky and the carpeting was dirty

Very dated & room was damp
The hotel is in a nice spot next to the marina. It looked very dated & in need of refurbishment. Our room was very damp, the carpet & beds all felt Damp. The bathrooms are tired also. I wouldn’t stay in another holiday inn based on my experience at that one.

This property needs a lot of TLC. Sink clogged up, towel holder fell out several times, etc. Things like that are not a big deal to fix.

The property was very nice and staff as well were very nice The problem Was my room #123 had a live cockroach in the top draw of the dresser and so I left my clothes in my suitcase out in the car and just brought in a change of clothes when showering and the other clothes right back in my car Also later in the evening, on the first night when brushing my teeth, a huge centipede came out of the drain of the sink I grabbed it with a face cloth and threw it into the toilet and flushed it

Other guests tried to enter our room late in the evening. When i told them to go away, they stayed outside the door talking loudly. I suspect they were told the wrong room. Then the next day, after the cleaning person tried to enter very early but was told to come back, another person came and opened the door while i was undressed and getting ready in front of the vanity. The latch had been on the door and must have been removed somehow. Not good!

We had to lug all our luggage up two flights of stairs to our room which was unexpected. Parking lot flooded so we had to walk through 4 inches of water to get to our car and some pretty rambunctious teens screaming in the hallways. Other than that it was ok because of the great restaurant next door.

The bathtub was caved in and felt like we were going to fall through. You could tell there was a hole in it and they put down a bath mat over it. Other than that all was very good

Absolutely gorgeous place to stay. Two pools tiki bar and hot tub , gorgeous tropical surroundings . The breakfast is also delicious and filling. There is a small gift shop inside the lobby that is also very nice. Staff was very nice and accommodating. We have stayed here three times now and would love to come back .

I lived in key largo for 17yrs, always thought the Holiday Inn was a reputable hotel. My family had stayed there last year and said it was fantastic, i however had a different experience. Room was extremely humid,air was not turned on prior to arriving. The shower was extremely dismal, with a showerhead that would not stay "up", that was disappointing. Tv remote did not operate properly, and only 2 towels were in the bathroom. For 243.00 a night,I would expect just a bit more.

The hotel staff were friendly. In addition the property had nice pool, bar at the pool. The seating and the landscaping around the hotel buildings helped to offset feeling that we stayed in a two star hotel with a $$$$ price. Perhaps this hotel is better for others and it was our room that made our stay less enjoyable as our room had several deficiencies: the interior door to our a bathroom had tight hinges and would not close, the safe in the room did not work, the clothesline did not work so we could not use it to hang/dry our bathing suits, and the towels were thin/scratchy - not the type of quality I would expect when paying 280 dollars for a night's stay.

Could be an awesome property if it were repaired. One wall of my room had no power, the toilet ran the entire stay, the coffee maker didn’t work. On the plus, the bar is great. The pool is very nice and it’s a great location.

Very good 'Key' hotel
The hotel was very nice with spacious and clean rooms. The only issue we had was that the room always felt damp and the headboards of the beds gave off a slight odor, which may have been due to the dampness. We have run into this problem at other hotels located near the ocean in the tropics. Other than that, everything else was very good!

Perfect place to stay for a family
Took a weekend getaway for Mother’s Day with my trio and had a great time. Room was a decent size, Dove toiletries was a nice touch and the pool with tiki bar was perfect. Additionally hotel was conveniently located next to our fishing charter boat which made it that much sweeter. Additionally the restaurant in the back of the property had a nice menu selection as well was very yummy.

nice facility,(although it could use a little updating , and a new coat of paint) otherwise a great value when factor in all
the amenities including all the boat tours that are right next to the hotel, (and you get a discount for them when you are
staying at the hotel), not to mention Skippers Roadhouse
as a very convenient dining option. I highly recommend this hotel especially when you factor in the price.

The pool and amenities were very nice! The hotel is located right next to the harbor and there were plenty of options for food, sites, and things to do. The room looked nice and comfortable, but the floors were very dirty. The outlet in the bathroom didn't work and the lighting was poor, making getting ready difficult, otherwise, everything was great.
