Giving 3 stars because there was sand in the bed when we arrived. Also no breakfast included & you have to pay for parking daily. Other than that, it’s nice that you have beach access and the pool is nice!

Disappointed with hotel. Only one working elevator (actually person in front got stuck and needed to call for help). Second elevator has been out for 4 months. Balcony deadbolt would not lock. Heater did not work in room. Construction was going on in same section of hotel.

The facility itself needs remodeling. Plumbing fixtures in particular needs improvement. Restaurant could not provide half the items on the menu.

Somewhat ok
Easy checkin. Friendly staff. Hotel is undergoing some updates. One of the elevators was down in C building. So there was a wait at times. $10 per day to park seems somewhat ridiculous for a hotel. Conveniently located. We were in room 713 where the door needs to be adjusted because it was hard to open and shut. Beds were comfortable. Nice touch of having your own broom and dust pan.

They need to do something about thei roaches infestation, its absolutely horrendous. We had to put some of our furniture on the balcony because it was full of roaches. Our building was unbelievably hot because they have one AC/Heat controller for the entire building. Absolutely horrendous. Never Again!

$20 for parking nightly in the parking lot is ridiculous and kept putting the do not disturb on the door to come back to the room and housekeepers moved all your stuff around.. might want to lock up your stuff if you plan on leaving. Was really quiet and the pool/ hot tub was nice with a beautiful view otherwise..

Please update this place!
We come here annually for a football weekend. While the view is amazing and the price is decent, this place is in dire need of major updates. I leave the same review every year and we’ve been coming here for a decade. If a view of the Gulf of Mexico is not critical for you, I don’t recommend staying here.

Housekeeping was knocking at my door "each day" at 9:30am, although check-out was at 11am. I also booked the room for 3 nights. This was very irritating.

A lot of issues with the room such as roaches, rusty fixtures, broken doors, mold in bathroom, nonworking electrical outlets. Paid for a full gulf view and only had a partial view. Balcony was not even big enough to sit on which was not pictured in the gulf view room. Fell outside lobby on wet ceramic tile and not been able to get a copy of the incident report. Still have pain fourth day after fall with no contact after day two. Very uncomfortable furniture. Plastic bathroom cups were never replaced with new ones with four nights stay. Very difficult to navigate property without having to walk through slippery walkways. Walkways through property very dark.

When I told staff about many cockroaches- they were just silent- its ok to say we will certainly fix this, thanks for telling us…
We have stayed here many times and really enjoy it, but maintenance has started to slip- paint peeling off tub, patio door very hard to open

Bad service and policy
The staff at check in desk not very helpful and told me I couldn’t stay with them because I’m a local in the area. They told me at the check in to go find another hotel and it’s not their problem that I can’t stay there or able to get a room to stay at all

Disappointed about parking fees !!
Very disappointed when I received a bill of 40 dollars for parking! 10 a night after I just paid a good amount for a 4 night stay. I’ll not be staying there again. I will book with someone else and I will call hotels to make sure there is no charge for parking !! Very disappointed!!!

Go back in a minute!
Absolutely delightful. The hotel was very clean. The room was spacious and comfortable. The restaurant was cozy with delicious food and friendly staff. The location couldn't be better. White, soft sandy beaches, 2 beautiful pools and within minutes of every store and restaurant you could name. The views can't be beat. And this was in November!!

The staff and maintenance crew were wonderful. Staffers were always checking around the pool and constantly checking the area. Water pressure in the room is very low.

Clean and comfy
Bed and pillows were comfy and the space was clean. The tiny kitchen was well equipped and clean with plates, cooking pans and utensils. Perfect for our quick meal.
Easy beach access and plenty of pool space. Everyone was nice and efficient.
My only complaint was the hot tub was closed at 8:30 whent the sign clearly states 9pm.

The front desk staff was terribly rude. There was sand on the floor upon entering. The bathroom had bugs, holes/rust in the door moulding, and paint peeling off the wall. There was so much air coming through a gap in the front door that my small children thought it was a ghost. The room phone did not work & TV remote had no back/did not work well.
The housekeeping staff did not have a vacuum, but they were very nice when contacted for towels/floor cleaning.

Nice getaway - on the beach
Pools were well-kept. Beaches were clean. Sand was white. View was awesome. Beautiful sunsets/sunrises - and wonderful staff at the hotel.

Property was under construction part of our stay, need new mattress, room service was suppose to be every 3 days we had none for 5 days until we reported to front desk. Had to go get our own towels, bath rags and coffee everyday from front office or ask maid for those items. Was compensated for inconvenience.
Best part of stay was ocean view.

The best thing about it was the beach view. Other than that the building looks really old the room wasn't worth $200 at all. Cracks all in the walls, just really needs work but the room was clean. Water wasn't working right in the bathroom, couldn't turn it off so it ran all night. The restaurant in the hotel food took very long to make and wasn't cooked right. The waiter was nice and doing his best to take care of everyone as best he could. . But the building looks bad. The beach was nice anyway but I wouldn't stay there again there in bad need of a upgrade.

The only negative thing, I wish the doors closed more softly. Every room door sounded like it was slammed every time it was closed. Nothing like being jolted out of your sleep by someone on the floor above exiting their room. Rooms were very clean very reasonably priced. Nice location. Beautiful beach!

Short but sweet
Front desk staff were very accommodating and kind enough to let us check in a bit early. The room was not fancy but clean. Pros: spectacular view! 2 dbl suite was plenty of room for us. Small but full kitchen was an unexpected treat. Pools were clean and nice, heated one with jacuzzi was nice with temperatures dropping. Amenities were just right for us. Poolside grill is nice but food is only available until 4pm. Staff was all friendly and helpful. Location is away from most of the crowds but close to some of the best restaurants and anything else you might need.
Cons: some amenities were listed but not available during our stay. Bikes were not available and wifi was out. Parking is not free, $10/day in addition to our room fee was unexpected. Room was clean but needed some TLC, insulation (noise), and pest control but I expected that on the beach, in Florida…..Furniture on balcony was very cheap plastic and one chair was cracked and unusable. Beach access was a bit difficult with many stairs.
I would stay there again.

The best part was the easy access to the beach.the crab cafe tiki bar was awesome!! The room was clean the king dize bed was soft but the toliet you have to hold down to flush.we stayed 3 nights and did not get fresh towels.the 2 pools weee nice.

Filthy! Mold on ceiling. Nasty, dirty fingerprints on the phone. Used notepad with a hair on it.
Shower rod was bent so curtain constantly slid to the middle. Floors were vinyl plank, but not clean. Our feet were black from walking across them. Limited to NO dining experience except for hotel restaurant which was way over priced.
Location to beach is the only 5 ⭐ this place gets.
Don't be fooled by photos. I'd attach mine if I could!

Many things are broken
We stayed twice at this location. Our first stay in a suite with a kitchen had roaches in the kitchen. Our second stay a week later had no kitchen, but we were disappointed. Taps leaked, and were reported to no avail. We asked for a mid-week cleaning but it did not happen. Many thinks were broken or not working.
Would not recommend this place.

Worst motel
Well the remotes didn't work. The phone in the room didn't work. We had to pay for parking, absolutely crazy!! There were no beach towels. We had to pay for beach chairs and umbrella. Microwave quit working. Water leaked out of a locked closet. Elevator didn't work. No continental breakfast. The only thing that was exceptional was the view from our balcony.

We had a leak in bath tub called maintenance said they could not fix it because they would have to turn water everyone water off. So we listened to the water dripping all week.
Front desk a few of the lady was not very friendly. Ask them for something like coffee they acted like we were asking for the world.

The location was in a perfect area for restaurants and beach access. The bar poolside was fantastic. Unfortunately all but one elevator worked when you could actually get it to come when called, our room phone didn’t work, the refrigerator on the lowest setting froze anything put in it and we had multiple cockroaches all through our room. This was all reported to the front desk and was completely blown off.

The only reason I gave a 4 star is because one of the elevators wasn’t working on a higher bldg. I didn’t impact overall stay. Beautiful room, very nice pools, very nice employees. Easy check in. Anything we needed was immediately brought to room. Tiki Bar was great and so were bartenders. Pool Attendant Deb was the highlight of our stay. She was such a delight. Easy access to beach. There is a great beach chair and umbrella service on beach. Will stay here again. All employees were very nice and always greeted us whenever we saw them

The hotel itself was overall pretty nice. Location was great and the view from the 4th floor balcony was excellent. A nice young lady named Charrisa went above in helping us change rooms from the 1st floor. The only real complaint was that the toilet was lose and no one ever came to fix it and the front desk didn't seem to care there was a problem. Also, the plumbing in the bathtub came out of the wall when you turned the shower on. The ice machine on the 4th floor wasn't working and one of the elevators wasn't working.

I would definitely go back to this property. I understand they were having renovations throughout the facility so there were some things that weren't fully operational, but besides that it was a beautiful location, area outside was always clean, pool was clean, walk to beach was incredibly easy, and I wish I was still there!

It was by the beach, but half of the light sockets didn't work, the elevator broke down and had to carry my mom-in-law up 4 flights of stairs (someone actually was stuck on the elevator for almost 30 mins), they gave us bottled water but someone took a drink then put the cap on with a cup over top. I'm glad I noticed that. Nasty.

Girls trip
This Hotel overall was nice For us, because it was so close to the beach. If you are looking for a lot of activity, this is not the place for you. It was very quiet and serene and relaxing. They are working on a lot of renovations, and hopefully, in the next year, it will be up to five star. I do have to say that our check in process was miserable the people at the desk when we checked in on a Tuesday were not friendly. However, the days after that staff improved with their friendliness. I want to give a shout out to Deb the pool attendant who made our day every time we were at the pool
The on site restaurant was very good for breakfast on one day that we had it. I recommend asking for an ocean or golf view room

The bathroom has no counter top it just a sink with a little space on the sides. around the air conditioner was dirty with a planel missing on the side. The pool area was clean and the pools where clean. I don't think I will stay here again.

Pools are great
Pools are great--one for kids with a slide and music, one for adults and a hot tub. Room furniture in our suite was Spartan, but that's okay. Could have used a dining table and more lighting, but not an issue for us.

Location is good for restaurants but other than that… the Elevator doesn’t work, corridors and stairwells not cleaned daily. There were empty water bottles on the floor and large wads chewing tobacco Stuck to the wall. Bathroom vent had an inch of filth on it. The door handle to the patio broke first time we tried to open it. Screws coming out of shower rod and ceiling texture peeling. Staff were friendly and one of the bartenders appeared to have an extra business going on as he would go to his car to retrieve small pkgs for patrons.

They now charge $10 a day for parking, (you HAVE to park there, so you have no choice), they used to have chair service free on the beach, now you have to pay $48 a day for chairs (I didn’t know so I didn’t bring my chairs or umbrella) no more bikes, not even to rent… tiki bar closes at 4, room was meh. Air hardly kept up we were so hot. Gap in front door was almost an inch at bottom so palmetto bugs kept getting in, ice makers constantly broke, elevator kept getting stuck with us in it at our floor so we had to constantly use the stairs with a 3 yr old, bathrooms near the pools were alway ”out of order” I found out on my last day it was bc cleaning crew used it as a hangout, not bc it was out, we would have to walk all the way to our building up to 7th floor every time we have to pee… the shower water pressure would lose complete pressure every 3 second so you would have that too, oh, our keys would deactivate every day at some point, so you get all the way up to your room, carrying your kid just have to go back down. Wait in line to get new keys… there’s so many more complaints but I just wanted to give a heads up. They are also painting the whole place inside (I don’t know why they couldn’t wait til January) so it’s a hot mess. We heard other ppl complaining as well

Great beach access!
Loved that it was on the beach, the pool was nice and they played a great selection of music. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Negatives were the door was loose, toilet screeched loudly when flushing, TV didn’t have sound and the room phone didn’t work. Had to search hotel number and call from cell for assistance. Wish they would’ve provided us with a different and more comfortable room after the complaints but they didn’t

Definitely in need of updates in the rooms. A/C thermostat did not work and it was extremely cold in the room. Reported to front desk but nothing was done. Pool was very nice but tiki bar had limited offerings. Will likely stay elsewhere on our next visit.

Once there, they refused to let me and my grandchildren rent a room because we were locals.
Their grandfather was in town and we were going to share a nice weekend together.

At 11:11 on Friday night maintance was doing something woke me up from a dead sleep. Scared me half to death. My daughter went to check it out but another guest had already opend and asked what was going on. The maintance guy appoligized. THen around 12:30 the same thing.

Needs a lot of maintenance work
First, the staff were all excellent. The pictures of the rooms are ver deceiving, not at all what we got. Had to move after first night due to door lock nit allowing us back in, mold on ceiling, and cramped with 2 steaight chairs...second room, impossible to open stuck door to the balcony. Only one elevator worked. For a Wyndham, this hotel needs some major maintenance done. We arrived one day early so had to pay 200.00 deposit. Next morning had to check out and check back in so another 200.00 deposit of which has not been credited back to my account yet. Breakfast is excellant, about the same youd pay at any restaurant, the bar inside is pretty blah and bartender not very knowledgeable, not her fault. My biggest grief is the condition of the building.

The person at the front desk was not helpful at all. I asked if there is a room with queen beds and he told me that the biggest bed the hotel has is a full size bed! The website advertises a queen room with 2 queen beds—either way he should know!!!
Also the one bedroom suite supposedly fit up to 6 people— not sure how 6 people can fit in 2 full beds and a sitting couch???

I did not like the fact we had to pay for parking when we are paying to stay at the property. The outside of the facility looks nice but, the rooms need some updating. Our air condition was old and leaked water. Otherwise. we enjoyed the stay!!
