The breakfast options were fewer than I was expecting, with a charge for each individual item ($3 for an apple, $5 for a bowl of oatmeal, $5 for two small muffins, etc.). Perhaps I've just been spoiled with the other hotels we have stayed at in the last 6 months.

Easy check in, front desk staff was very pleasant, cookies and coffee were offered in the lobby which was a nice touch! They had a business center with two computers and a printer. Room was clean comfortable and quiet, will definitely stay again.

The person who checked us in was friendly and check-in went well. But our room had stains on the carpet, towels, bedspread, sheets and pillowcases. There was a white powder on the floor next to the dresser, and human hair in the tub and on the bathroom floor. It was gross. We wound up having to leave early for an emergency so we’re unable to complain to the staff. Wrote a review like this for Holiday Inn and they gave me a one cent refund. I would rather pay a bit more for a clean place to sleep.

Expedia did not alert us to the rehabilitations going on. restaurant not open, the pool closed, cosmetic changes underway but the bathroom and heating system is what needs an upgrade. overall, poor place and would not recommend to others right now.

I was disappointed when I first arrived. I have 4 bags and asked to have a luggage trolley so I could bring my things up to the room. After checking in and receiving my room key, I went to my room only to discover that my key did not work. when I tried to return to the desk to get a working key, I couldn't bring my luggage all the way to the desk because there were steps that I couldn't traverse with the trolley. When I did get to the desk, one of the gentlemen behind the desk appeared to be learning how to use the computer system, but as happens to us all when we are learning new things, it can be slower than usual service. That was not the issues, the issue was because of this delay, I had to return to the hallway to drag my bags back to the front desk over multiple stairs. I have a significant shoulder injury because of which I cannot lift over 10 pounds. As a person working in health care, I wonder how my patients in wheelchairs and with walkers could manage in your hotel.
Lastly, I would like to say that I was concerned about the condition of the Keurig, the water reservoir was filthy, and there was no other way to get coffee. There wasn't any in the lobby. And the rug in the room was filthy also. How can this be acceptable to you, particularly as a place that families with small children come to, a place of beauty and incredible coastline where so many vacation? As a physician, my objective here is to alert you to the unmet needs of the disabled and the risk to children

We were stuck in stand still traffic which caused us to be unable to make our reservation. We tried the online agent to try moving our reservation to a closer hotel, and got stuck in a very frustrating and unhelpful loop. We called customer service which had so much background noise we could barely hear, just to be told too bad there is nothing we can do.

Its a great spot for a short retreat! easy to find and close to attractions and shopping. Place was under renovation but we got one of the newly renovated room. Maybe they will have the pool done by next year. Staff was helpful.

NEVER AGAIN, and hotels.com will not help you!
Extremely dirty, non functioning amenities. Snelled of old urine, bathrooms were falling apart, one room had a tub full of dirty water and stained towels. DISGUSTING!
We tried getting moved to 3 different rooms and even downgrading our bed size before finally leaving. Ruined our entire weekend getaway without the kids which happens once in a blue moon.
We left within an hour of check in, contacted hotels.com, sat on the phone another hour and still habe had no response and our money was never refunded. We lost almost $400 on a stay we never had.
Hotels.com did NOTHING to refund our money even though i habe exclusively used this booking site for years and travel often. NEVER AGAIN!hotels.com

When I checked in, found out that the pool was closed, the bar was closed and the restaurant was only open for breakfast. The hand rails where so sticky that you could barely hold on to them. If I had known the condition of the hotel I would have booked somewhere else.

The room we got was not up to par, the carpet looked like there was blood stains on it, the bedding was dirty, the bathroom door wouldn’t open properly (so we kept getting stuck in the bathroom) the toilet flushed up so it always sprayed the toilet seat, and the pool was closed no one had mentioned that when we checked in. The staff was good about changing our room, but when we got in it there was no toilet paper, no trash bins, no towels, all the soaps were just about empty but the staff worked hard to make sure we had everything we needed (kutos to the staff) I don’t know if I’d stay there again, I get it stuff happens, but the amount of money people pay to stay and have to deal with that and not even an offer of a partial refund, even 50.00 off, come on!!

My friend and I stayed here one night. We were disappointed that the pool was under renovation. Everything was very clean except the tv remote. I spent 10 minutes cleaning it before I would even use it. Everything else was perfect. And I am picky. Did not find one hair or anything bad about the room. Employees were plesant.

I am a firefighter and had to attend training in the Falmouth area. I decided to take advantage and bring along my wife. I looked for a place that had a pool and a nice outdoor area and a place to have dinner and a drink. I booked this holiday Inn for the reasons it offered on their website. I did receive a text message the day we were leave stating the pool was temporarily down. Now mind you I paid in full and could not cancel. I arrived and had an easy check in and went to my room. That evening my wife and I went to dinner only to find out they do not offer dinner. The pool was completely torn apart and had been that way for quite some time. The property is definitely under construction and there was no mention to that. The grass was long and the weeds were high. I am looking for a full refund. Please advise.

Older facility, some mold in bathroom, clogged drains in bathroom sink and shower. Charging $14.50 for a continental breakfast. Went to Main Street to Betsy's diner and got a huge breakfast for a lot less. No elevator to top floor, had to walk down a long hallway and go up 3 steps..difficult with lots of luggage. The only positive was it's close to the parking lot to get the shuttle to Woods Hole for the ferries

I booked this hotel last minute because of an emergency home repair. Mike checked me in and was so nice and gave me a great room. They cleaned it mid stay (even though it says they don’t unless you ask). The bed and pillows were so comfortable!

The room rate jumped from $239-$508 for a Friday night. The room was of questionable cleanliness. No cleaning service for the room. I paid for breakfast but no hot breakfast was offered. Cereal and yogurt and toast. I had to request extra soap and towels. And all that for $508. When I ask questions about the room rate the desk manager took the bill and threw it in the garbage and told me he could not answer any questions I would have to talk to Expedia. And you can never get anyone on Expedia on the phone. It was a total rip off. It’s obvious you all look to get the most money for doing the bare minimum.

Had to change room due to issue. Did get credit of one night, which should have been done without my asking. Next day asked for room to be serviced because this is not just done daily even though we stayed for 5 days..well it wasn’t done so had to call for towels. Someone who smelled of marijuana came with towels. Next day asked for room serviced. It was though only 2 wash clothes given even though 4 people in room..everything. Was like pulling teeth. Hotel needs attention.

We chose the location because it isn't far from the ferry we were taking. The staff was friendly, especially in the restaurant. Food was good. Our room itself was musty and damp. Was good for our purposes but wouldn't have wanted to stay longer than a night.

You could do better.
On arival I took a shower and the tub filled up with water from a plugged drain that was backed up from who knows where, disgusting. Told the front desk and was told the repair guy would be in at 8 in the morning. My wife wanted a shower so off I went for some drain opener. The online line discription mentioned a Keurig coffee pot. It was there but no K-Cups, even cheap road side motels provide 2 in a king room. Not very impressed for a $752 two night stay.

I liked the easy parking and ability to go to and from my room without crowds. The staff were friendly and accommodating but the property is dated and the bathtub had a poor caulking job. My visit was pleasant since we had a lot of activities planned. The location is close to everything. No bugs or mice so I would stay there again.

The room was not clean at all. Needed vacuuming, toilet and sink were filthy! Ceiling in room was discolored from water damage. Very disappointing! I’m so glad it is my habit to travel with disinfecting wipes to clean and sanitize. This place unfortunately validated my reasons for carrying along cleaning supplies for hotels. Such a shame.

The property was good, clean and comfortable. A microwave in the room would of been very helpful. Free breakfast as well would of been a bonus.
Check in was quick and easy.
The restaurant needs more help, I waited about 30 minutes after I put in my order to have the server/bartender come back to tell me he forgot to put my order in and what exactly was my order. The food was cold. Under cooked.
Hotel was very convenient for my reason for staying. But the small inconvenience in the hotel did not help.

What I liked. Convenient for everything I needed to do in town. Clean room, comfortable bed and pillows. Friendly and helpful staff. What I didn't like: room did not have a microwave. My room happened to be near an entrance/exit door that did not close quietly...always slammed shut. Not a pleasant sound at 2am. Room service was not a daily thing unless your stay was over 5 nights. I was there for 4. But the biggest disappointment was the so called restaurant on the premises (Jones Tavern). A tremendous BIG flop. I was kind of dependent on the restaurant because I didn't have my rental car yet for the first day of my stay. There was no breakfast served for my night there. The dinner menu was one sheet of paper with only two entrée options. Chicken sandwich or a hamburger. I opted for the burger which was dried and overcooked. It came with fries which the only thing that tasted good. The drink was a wine glass coke for $2.49 EACH. Usually you get free refills. Nope $2.49 a piece. The bar options were limited too. I wanted a beer from tap. They had five choices but the taps were out of order for the night. The meal ended up costing $28 for a burger with fries and two cokes.

Facility was lovely, hard to find a luggage cart, then the door to enter using cart had snow bank in fron of it had to pull the cart through the rocks. room was great, second check-in was difficult due to third party vendor travelocity. Check out went quick and easy.

They required a $50-$100 hold on your credit card for the length of the stay. To be refunded 7-10 business days after you check out. take that amount world wide and they are scamming the banks out of millions of dollars. They have my credit card info there is no reason to require this on top.

Be prepared to list the full names of every person staying in your room. I've never before had an innkeeper ask for the names of my children before. Very disconcerting and seemingly unnecessary. The breakfast was also disappointing as it consisted on boxed items on one day and on another we discovered that there was no hot food available when we arrived at 9am.
