The property was very nice very clean and I felt very comfortable in the location. The staff was wonderful. They have a limited dining menu, but that was OK with us because we just wanted to have a glass of wine and a little snack. My only complaint was the shower faucet was a little loose and I just told him about that when we checked out. I’m sure they will take care of it.

The room was in poor condition and dirty. Upon arrival, the sink was dirty as well as tub/shower. If that wasn't bad enough, the hotel staff left soiled towels from another room outside our door. When we called to have them removed, they remained there until our checkout the following day. I also attempted to conduct a meeting in the designated working area, but it's located right by the check-in desk with constant traffic to and from the hotel, making it unsuitable as a workspace. Additionally, this hotel is situated right next to a major road, resulting in noise from traffic throughout most of the night due to its thin walls. In addition to hearing our neighbors, the fan/AC unit is incredibly loud and cycles on and off all night based on the temperature setting, causing disruptions. The only positive aspect of our stay was the availability of lemon water at the front desk. I have no intention of staying here again; it's the kind of place where you would check twice to ensure there are no bed bugs.

The hotel was clean. Room seemed updated. The 6th floor hall was dark and could use some brighter lighting. There's a Starbucks next door and huge Wegmans down the street.

Had this been a more $90-126/night property my rating would be better. But for the cost, the room was not put together well, the shower amenities could have been tidied and clearer, the toilet ran once every 20min and the room blinds were disabled. Staff were base helpful but more like a Super 8 level of customer service.

I like the hotel itself and staff a lot. What I didn't like is that Expedia and Holiday Inn had a lack of communication, and the hotel got overbooked. So the very nice woman at the front desk found us a 2 queen bed room like we asked, but she had to take it from another person who booked the same but had not yet shown up. So I am sure the next customer was not happy. There needs to be better communication between he companies so that the hotel does not get overbooked.

One elevator was broke, so very long wait to get in and out. We were of course on the top floor (6th). Too expensive for the quality of the amenities. Staff was great, the rest is not. There are other options with much more amenities for the same price. Suggest evaluating them.

The staff was the best thing about this visit. Also extremely pleased with cleanliness and the quiet.
Both blinds in our room did not work properly, so when we woke up in the morning we could not open either one!

When I arrived after driving 12 hours to get to Va they were overbooked and cancelled my reservation and when I spoke with the assistant manager she told me it was my problem and I could go ahead and report her to corporate but IHG customer service took care of me and within 10 minutes did what that asst manager did not they found me alternate accommodations

The hotel itself was excellent, and getting into the parking lot off the main streets convenient, but exit is complicated by virtue of a divided street which requires first going one way out of the hotel parking lot and making a U-turn if one wants to go in the other direction towards one of the main thoroughfares in the area which lead to the interstate, shopping centers, etc.

We came for graduation weekend so it was very busy, but the staff was very friendly and helpful, the hotel was very clean and helped us with all the accomodations we asked for. We couldn't have wanted a better stay.

Big wad of hair on bed when we checked in. Overall cleanliness just wasn’t as good as it could’ve been. Staff very nice but should be sure to have all surfaces wiped down and vacuumed properly. Crumbs and dirt left behind by previous customers and in the dining area there were we s with spiders in the corners that clearly had been there a while.

Able to breathe well through the night.
I did not realize at the time of booking that the hotel was a pet friendly hotel and that means most rooms have had animals in them. Well my asthma was triggered by the pet dander and I hadn't pack my inhaler for the trip. Management moved me to the one floor they had that was pet free with haste. I slept well, thank you!

The hot water didn’t work until you let it run 15 min - the room was pretty clean - one elevator was not working and the ice machine on our floor was empty the first day we were there but they were both fixed the next day - overall not bad but very disappointed in the hot water situation

TERRIBLE HOSPITALITY
From the first phone call I received from the front desk receptionist Mike I knew it was going to be rough stay in regards to the hospitality. He showed no consideration to our questions or even our feelings. He did not greet us with a friendly personality and made us feel like a bother when we did have to speak with him. Instead of explaining things to us he gave harsh answers and provided no reasonings on certain questions. During check out when asking for a receipt I was told I was not allowed to have a print out copy of MY BILL because hotels.com takes a big compensation and I was NOT allowed to see that. To me that is completely insane when it’s MY money and I wanted to see where it was going and how much my total bill was. Some of my family members were charged random charges for things they didn’t buy. I wanted to make sure I wasn’t as well, but again the man at the desk told me I couldn’t have it. The lady working the bar was very rude as well. Someone in my party asked if they had a certain drink and the lady told her no and walked away. Never offered her something comparable or asked to see if she would like something different. When you go to a hotel you should be treated like a guest. Not a prisoner. This place was awful and we will NEVER be staying there again and will make sure none of our family/friends will either. We will be reaching out to corporate because their customer service needs A LOT of work. We are nice people and wanted the same respect in return.

Solid Hotel
Solid stay. Ended up with room with connecting door to room next door. Bunch of middle schoolers on floor for school trip. Kinda noisy at first, but settled down around midnight.
Water takes a while to heat up. Two different firmness pillows which is nice. Could work on desk/chair setup-not comfortable.
Overall good trip and would recommend.

I was staying in Room 501, and whomever was staying in Room 500 was smoking cigs. I could smell the smoke in my room around 4am and it woke me. I'm very sensitive to nicotine smell. You should be able to view the records of my stay and see who stayed across the hall from me on the same night. It was a non smoking hotel and these people are in clear violation!

Certainly Good Enough
Nothing fancy, but it's clean, quiet, and in a good location if you're traveling on the interstate. I was in town for the night, visiting friends and didn't need to be downtown. This was a perfect place to crash. I might stay away in late April though when the Foxfields races are going on. Lots of younguns in town to party. Or maybe that's what you want, hah.

The location of the property was great. Most of all, we felt safe.
The only issue we had was that the cable service for the tv was disconnected. we were told that it would not be resolved until the next morning.

Directly off the highway. There's a bar for a nightcap, a dining room and a good breakfast menu. ( not a cheap buffet) . You need to order a vouchure when booking /with room reservatuon for deal.

Waited at the (unattended) front desk for close to 10 minutes just to check in. I went down the hall to the sales office and maintenance rooms and no employee was in sight. Not ideal when you've had a long day of travel. Then the front desk associate didn't even acknowledge or apologize for our wait.

We found the breakfast service to be of the highest quality.
Our server was friendly and amazingly efficient. The chef performed his magic on my eggs! I have never found a hotel breakfast service that did over easy eggs as well as here! The rest of the staff were excellent as well!

Queen size bed was not normal queen size. Floor in bathroom was very sticky. When we checked in, only got one breakfast coupon when paid for 2. Coffee was cold. Oatmeal was swimming in faux oily butter. Server in bar kept disappearing.

Needs up dating. Have stayed there twice in the last year for UVa doc appointments. No one mentioned the huge discount, never received any of the deposits I was to receive. The room was left pristine ( no damage).

Overall was a great stay. I'm hearing impaired and need CC on Tv. Only worked on 1 channel...news. They tried to resolve. But all rooms like that they said and put a call into cable company. They tried. Everyone was very polite and helpful.

Everyone working at this facility is warm and welcoming and strive to make sure you have the best experience. We were in town for my son's wedding and they were so gracious to ask questions and really make us feel comfortable. I honestly can relay a downside, it had everything and more than we could have asked for.
