I liked how close the hotel was to Six Flags. I liked the food choices in the lounge. I was not impressed with the breakfast buffet. If I was paying $15 per person per day, I might look elsewhere. I prepaid for $10 so it was ok. The spread was limited and lack healthy choices on 2 of the 3 days that I stayed.

I went to breakfast - the bowl of fruit had plastic rap on it with the spoon in it. I notified the waitress there were nets in the fruit she said I know & covered it back up

The staff was very friendly. The walls are very thin, you can hear everything. It was windy and the wind was whistling very loudly through the window. There was mold all over the ceiling above the shower. The bed felt like I was sleeping on a board.

When we checked in the lobby had beer bottles on the floor garbage on tables in the common area and on the outside area cigarette butts scattered everywhere tables cluttered with leftover an eaten food trash alcohol bottles. The property was so disgusting and the pictures online did not match the room that we checked into the room the carpet was sticky in the bedroom the bathroom had mold the chairs in the common area in our room had suspicious stains, The pull out bed the couch had brown stains the room stunk, we were on the first floor it was so loud cars were revving up outside Our window at 3 AM. The group we were with had a room on the fourth floor which completely smelled of marijuana, we reported it to the front desk and they acted like that wasn’t important and it was not concerning and pretty much did not care. We were Under the impression from the photos from the booking site showed to pull out beds and one king size bed there was one couch with a pull out bed we went to the front desk and that’s for a rollaway bed they of course did not have any they did not have any extra pillows or blankets available. If it wasn’t so late at night when we checked in we would’ve driven home it was absolutely the worst hotel I’ve stayed in it was absolutely disgusting and I don’t usually leave reviews but this needs to be addressed because when we showed our concerns to the front desk they could care less

It took 3 hours to check in because they couldn’t figure out that I paid Expedia, and they wanted me to pay again stating I hadn’t paid. It was horrible and never had a problem like it. Also, they said I had to put 100.00 deposit and would get it back at check out. Still haven’t seen it.

Nice hotel. Staff was friendly. The breakfast buffet was great. The beds are very small. They advertise as a queen but they are mire like full size. I went with 3 kids and 1 adult and the 2 kids struggled on the bed and we were all very uncomfortable. There was also nails poking out of the carpet. Overall stay was good but the rooms were just average and had some issues

The property charged me for the room even though I had already paid through Expedia. Did nothing to assist in clearing it up. Said I needed to handle with Expedia even though I had the confirmation numbers, itinerary, etc.

Hair bonnet From what I can only assume was the last guest was still left under the pillow and it smells like they were smoking in the room next to us they been moved into a new room that had a few random grocery bag then they didn’t have any other room to move into

Came here with my three kids. First night the pool closed early and we were told to leave because there was a large routy group that got in a fight or something and the police came. Then on morning of checkout the pool was closed again for cleaning. Trying to have a fun swimming stay with my children Very disappointed. Sat down to breakfast and filled our plates only to have someone come by and say that it was 12.99 for breakfast. I complained about the pool closing and the front desk was polite and I was given vouchers for breakfast. Ive never been to a hotel before that charged for breakfast and I just didn’t expect that. Stayed at many holiday inns before and have been happy. Halls smell like marijuana. Definitely wouldn’t go back to this one.

I couldnt believe how the general manager treated us. Very rude. other than that everything was ok. But since we were racially profiled not sure if we will be returning.

Hotel nightmare
At check in there was no record of the correct room I booked or accomodations. The front desk clerk did his best to accommodate me based on what was available. There was no fridge, microwave and not enough coffee which was included in my room. Breakfast was also included in my room which the clerk had to add. The air conditioning did not work on a very hot day and there was rust in the bathroom. I can go to motel 6 and get everything I paid for and much cheaper.

Location and parking were great, the beds were comfortable, but when you reserve a suite for six people you would expect there to be close to enough towels or at least blankets and pillows for the sleeper sofa. The pool was very cold and hot tub remained closed which was also disappointing. Staff was helpful and friendly and hotel was clean. I would stay here again.

I booked third party and paid ahead and then got charged again by the hotel. I called and left messages with the accountant on three separate occasions and I still haven’t received a call back I also prepaid for breakfast and my children were turned away because at check in I wasn’t given vouchers

Very Disappointing and Expensive
I’m a Gold Member who stays in hotels roughly 40-50 nights a year, COVID excluded.
I booked this hotel after reading the positive comments and was very, very disappointed considering the exorbitant cost per night which was easily the most I’ve spent for a hotel room in over 5 years.
Let me start with the good first:
1) Greg, who worked the overnight shift, was very helpful and proactively helped me print out Six Flags passes. Great customer service skills!
2) the lobby and pool are very nice and aesthetically pleasing.
Now the bad ☹️
1) when I checked in no one told me I had to let them know I wanted my room cleaned as I stayed 2 nights. We were out all day so we had no chance to address this issue when we returned.
2) The double bed room we were in is very small and the furniture looks like it’s 40 years old and weathered. Plus the desk chair was missing. When a room cost a few hundred dollars a night this was a big disappointment.
3) The bathroom was very tiny with barely any space around the sink to set down toiletries. At least the commode flushed well!
4) They only had coffee available in the morning. Sometimes travelers like caffeine in the afternoon too. “Hospitality anyone?”
5) Frankly except for Greg the front desk were a bunch of zombies. No hospitality skills at all. No welcoming greetings.
6) The hot tub was out of order.
In closing I will not stay here again.

When we came to check in there was only one person behind the desk and 4 people waiting to speak to her. She was very nice and trying very hard, but clearly needed another person to manage everyone. The only other person on site was the manager and she was handling a wedding. It was 6:00 and there were still no clean rooms available to check in. We decided to go to the indoor pool while they finished but the pool was packed with people. No covid regulations in place for the number of people swimming. We went back up to our rooms and they still weren't clean. So, we called another hotel and cancelled our rooms. Although the front desk person was great, there was not enough staff to run the hotel for the number of people they had staying.

Not worth the price
For this being a new hotel I really expected great things. When you walk in, its very impressive. The room I got seem really small for being 2 beds especially for the price. When I checked in my cars got charged, but the girl didn't tell me for how much ( it was there security deposit, which I knew I had to pay), but I should have been told how much it was. I had to call the front desk every night of my stay multiple times due to the noises in the hall ways from teenagers running up and down knocking on random doors and screaming ( yes they have a quite time and I traveled with a child). It really didn't meet my expectations at all. My air conditioner sounded as if it was going to blow up and it took me turning it off and on multiple times before it would even finally come on. Extremely disappointed with this stay.

Please avoid yes the prices are affordable an maybe within budget for some . The heat did not work in the room was offer another room woke up to an bedbug crawling on my pillow!!!!!! Staff showed no compassionate no nothing just said he will let pest control aware ! I left immediately never ever again !

We liked the pool. The room was fine for what we needed. The mini fridge was relatively new and there was a microwave in the room, that was nice. We did not like the fact the front desk staff did not have their masks on. Even when we were talking and they were handling my key cards and credit card.

There was no coffee...never stayed in a hotel with no coffee...no k cups in the room or downstairs, we asked the front desk and he said "no coffee", which is esspecially surprising since it was -4 degrees in Chicago...When we first got to the room the bathroom floor was wet, and they never vacuumed the entire time.

Hotel manager and hotels.com unwilling to resolve
My flight leaving out of Vermont was cancelled 4 times on 2/7/20. I was unable to uphold my reservation due to a severe winter storm in Vermont. Due to this flight cancellation, I was unable to attend my grandfather’s funeral on Sat 2/8. Hotels.com attempted to contact the hotel manager, Jim Anderson, several times, but stated they were unable to reach him. I attempted to contact the hotel manager and he refused to take my call. He stated that it is the responsibility of hotels.com to resolve this matter. I still have not received my refund and neither hotels.com nor the hotel manager is willing to work with me. I have never received such substandard customer service. I will never work with Hotels.com again.

Pool is awesome (rather cold) went in January yes i know winter in Chicago...however could had the heat on or something when u get out of pool.
Front desk staff, not helpful didnt explain any amenities, or policies. said 2 queen beds...they were 2 FULL size beds!!! Very uncomfortable

The front staff at check in was rude, call first to ask about the shuttle. I was told every hour. When we arrived that changed. Arranged for the shuttle arrived 30 minutes late to pick us up. Never stay here again.

Heat in room went on on and off during the night. Heater made thumping and whirring noises all night. Water from bathroom faucet hot tap ran cold for some time. There was no breakfast included and breakfast buffet price was too high ($14.00). Wish we had chosen a different hotel in the area for our one night stay.

Overall, the stay was good, until the second night. Got back from a long day of work to see that there had been no housekeeping. Bed unmade, towels on the ground, etc. I called down to the front desk and the woman said "Okay. I'll send someone up to change the towels and take out the garbage. I went down to the hot tub to relax before turning in for the night, came back to my room and still no one had been there. Not the end of the world, just disappointing, especially after I called and was told differently.

The pulley machine in the gym needs attention.. the wires and pulley rotars are all broke due to some moron not properly executing his/her workouts.. but not the hotels fault.. I am just letting you know ya might need a new machine or repair.. ; ))

Visit was wonderful. Lovef the front desk staff. They were very attentive and went above and beyond with every request. My daughter loved the pool and after 2 days of walking at the mall and six flags the hot spa was EVERYTHING!.
The rooms were clean and had every amenity you could ask for......coffee, microwave, refrigerator. Plenty of parking. Laundry facilities..It was a great visit and my daughter and I can't wait to do it all over again.
Oh yes, almost forgot... lost my debit card at breakfast and you can imagine my surprise when I called the front desk and someone had turned it in. Overall, very satisfied.

It’s a nice hotel and the has a nice lobby. Room was clean and I had a refrigerator. A plus. The from desk lady she’s Hispanic was so helpful and nice. I definitely will stay here again.
