Hilton Village is the staple of what vacation should look like. However, ocean view that we thought we were getting was on 4th floor, obstructed view with palm trees. Had we known in advance, we would have booked higher floor in another building within Hawaiian village. They changed us to another room less obstructive view of ocean. It was good they did something about it. But Expedia saying what we were getting is the ocean view is confusing esp when we paid $4,500 for only five nights (2bd & 2 bath.) otherwise the rooms were good.

It had a ton to offer, the property was a perfect size with plenty of shopping and dining without feeling too large or crowded. The beach was great, the gym great, the staff great!
My only complaints were that the pools were very cold - the ocean was warmer - and the ridiculous charges for beach lounge chairs and umbrellas! For the resort fees we pay, they should be included! That was a huge turnoff.

The Hilton had everything you could possibly want from shopping, restaurants, convenience stores, souvenir shops. The property itself was very clean, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would stay again in the heartbeat.

We, family of four, enjoyed staying here. Property is on the beach, surrounded by huge shopping area, well maintained gardens. Staff is very helpful and courteous. Kitchen and separate bedroom are the best features. You can't get on to the elevators without room access card which is good for safety. Paid parking just below property and is very convenient to park and bring stuff from car. Lots convenience stores,
restaurants nearby.

We found the room not clean once we got in, especially lots of stains and hairs on the makeup stool, stains in the trash cans and the cabinet under the sink. The interior looks so old. The beds feel smaller than queen size.
We do like the suit comes with a kitchen, and the kids had a lot of fun in the pools.

The staff were very polite and adaptable. One of the elevators at Lagoon Tower was out of order, so we waited in line for about 10 minutes to go up in the evening. The cold air from the air conditioner in the common area came into the room, and even though I had turned off the air conditioner in the room, it was so cold that everyone had a sore throat.

We had a two bedroom with kitchenett in the Lagoon tower. One room, king bed, 2nd bedroom two full size beds, couch in livinroom was a pull out. We were husband wife traveling with our 3 20 somethings. Perfect size for us. No complaints except parking in the garage was $62 a night. Typical in Waikiki.

The place was very clean and beautiful only problem was the daily resort fee daily and you have to pay for the parking $69.00 daily.Either pay that or walk 8 minutes to a more affordable parking place. Because i had a disabled person with me i had to pay the parking fees. Make sure when you book if your booking with a disabled person you book a room with the bars apparently even though i asked for it when i booked i didn’t get the accessibility room and my mother had a really hard time showering since they didn’t even have bars in the tub to help pull her into the tub. Other than that everything was great

This property is great if you were looking for a version of Disneyland in Hawaii. Unfortunately, we were not. I wanted something more relaxing and this is definitely not that. However, it’s really close to all of the downtown shopping and also has shopping on the property. The only thing though, too is that booking through a third-party, we were treated exactly that way. We were not treated very well by Hilton.

PROS: Nice walkable area with shopping and restaraunts for the whole family. Multiple places to swim. Angel at the activities desk was very helpful arranging all the activities we wanted and helped make this vacation less stressful.
CONS: Parking was outrageous (spent the same for 1 night as I did for an entire week at the airport). Paid for lagoon view but was given parking garage view without any compensation. Lagoon tower had no dining or amenities inside - must walk everywhere. Dining options didnt open early enough or stay open late enough.

The 2 bedroom apartment we had was enormous and perfect for our family of 4. It was very clean and every day we had it serviced with new towels etc. the property itself is great for kids - so much to do! Highly recommend!

We arrived 1 hour early. They did let us check in. I booked ocean view. I received a harbor view I called they said if I go out on lani and look to the left, you’ll see the ocean. I was upset that it wasnt as they described on website.

Love going to the Hilton and it was our first time staying in the Grand Hilton with the suites. Beautiful, needing some slight updates as well as the water pressure was weak. Overall, a wonderful stay there!! We will definitely be back 😊

This property has it all, but there are pros and cons depending on the tower you stay in. We were in the lagoon tower this time which is a little older. The room was nice, but a little dated. The water coming from the toilet when you flush had a terrible smell, and the shower head was extremely dirty. The room itself was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. Only three elevators which was a pain at times, but overall a very nice stay.

This property is in an amazing area for Waikiki. It has it's own strip of beach and lagoon - so you can easily go into the resort for amenities and head back out on the beach. But it's still walking distance to the heart of Waikiki. Great amenities and service. We'd stay here again.

Very nice ocean view location, clean, complete and functional appliances for the entire unit. Heated toilet seat/automatic push button vide is very convenient. The only thing is front desk staff need to give clear and concise directions during checking in. Since the village is timeshare, you can get lose which one is yours, especially if you check in after hours.

Great for families. Stayed in lagoon tower and liked having a kitchen, dining, living room. We had 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms. We were able to sleep 5 comfortably. Parking is expensive but I read reviews prior and expected it. Room could use a little updating but for a family with a busy itinerary, I thought it was just fine.

Lagoon tower was great. Room was huge, with a nice balcony. Location is great, lots around the hotel (although you don’t even need to leave the property as it has all you need!) it’s a bit tough to get a spot by the pool, you will need to line up before 9:00am to get one. The water slides are only open for a limited time each day. The main “lava tube” slide is fun but only open from 11-2pm and has a line all afternoon, it should be open all day. Also the Grill at the pool has a 20-30 minute wait all day so hard to get food or drinks at the pool (and you’re not allowed to bring in your own).
Had a nice lounge to use on our last day of travel (including showers for us to use before our flight). Overall this is a great hotel! Would go again for sure.

The location was perfect. Very considerate and accomodating hotel manager Denver Simon… he was very helpful. The room itself was gorgeous..plenty of space and my favorite is that it has it’s own washer and dryer.

The grounds themselves were beautiful. The actual room definitely had more of a hotel feel than a condo feel with very limited amenities in comparison to other condos we have stayed in. Room was a little run-down and could use some updating. Air conditioner really only cooled the living room and not the bedrooms. We paid extra for an "ocean view" and at check in were told it was an "ocean view room" but really we had a slight view of the lagoon area mostly covered by palm trees. Also was unaware that I would have to pay an additional $55 a night for parking along with a resort fee that did not even cover much other than pool towels, internet and DVD rentals. We always enjoy our time in Hawaii though. Food truck on the beach had the best bang for your buck. Highly recommend.

This was our second stay at the Lagoon Tower at Hilton Grand Vacations. It is a good value for the space, the amenities, and the proximity to restaurants and shops around Waikiki. We rented a cabana by the lagoon and it was perfect! Staff are friendly and we enjoyed our trip!

It’s a vacation resort, be patient.
I was fine. I just had an issue with the elevators during high volume check out which involved me walking down 15 flights of stairs. Otherwise, the resort has a lot of amenities to make up for it. The hotel was convenient located to things we needed to go to.

We were there for 4 nights and I don't like they don't offer cleaning service unless you are there for 5 nights or more. 4 nights is a long time to go for a family of 4 of being at the beach, cooking, etc w/o cleaning.
Also, the curtains are automatic but didnt close so we slept with the bright lights shining into our room. The bathroom smelled like something died in it. The pipes or something were really bad.

The grand pool was not like what I was expecting. It was large, but it had nothing special about it. The worst was that despite spending nearly $500/night we were charged extra for everything from parking to resort fees.

I loved the nearby shops and their proximity was really close by along with a great variety of restaurants. The service was excellent. There also was a great waiting area for families once you are checked out but still waiting for a late flight with great massage chairs. The only thing is that in the Lagoon Tower, for the amount of money that I spent for an ocean front room, the actual room needs to be updated a bit with new carpeting and updated furniture.

Another great visit!
We stayed in a 16th floor 1 bedroom suite in the Lagoon Tower that was spacious and nicely appointed for our family of 3. We loved looking out on ocean views and really enjoyed the property shops, pools, restaurants and amenities. i wish all the other fish ponds were filled but we understand upkeep needs. We will eagerly be back. This is a great property with a great staff!!

Resort fees with limited amenities
If you are going to charg resort fees please provide the amenities.
The hotel was very nice, Lagoon Tower, but the pool was very limited. Hot tubs closed, from Covid I assume, at least keep them clean, it looked like a dirty bird bath.
We stayed at the Hilton hawaiian Village specifically for the pools with slides, the slides were mostly closed, when open only one was opened at a time. They were not sure why but thought it was staffing issues. If a premier Hilton property cant staff what they offer they should close it or wave the resort fee. What little pool staff they had need serious customer service training, no personality at all. When you ask them a question you will get an answer but don't expect them to look up from their phones when they talk.
Also, the pool with the slides food service was closed. Had to walk to the other pool to get service, I failed the Covid hoops you need to jump through so i just went to Dairy Queen every day, on property. Somehow I was smart enough to get into Hawaii through the Health Department but I couldn't match witts with the bartender who takes the orders at the pool bar. He was also missing a personality.
So the Hotel was great, the pool used Covid as an excuse for poor service.

This hotel was in the middle of everything. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing I didn’t like was the parking fee. It was 50 per day but we did have in and out privileges. The hotel also had washer and dryer usage that I took ad of. Overall the hotel was nice and safe

Stayed with my family for 7 days. The people that work here are nice and polite. Our room was perfect for a family of 3. Close to everything, the beach, the stores, the mall is approximately 10min walk. Loved their lagoon beach! When arrived at this property they texted me so if we needed anything I could let them know. Very easy. Bedroom closet door needs to go, bad experience when closing and opening door. Smashed my finger twice.

Good 2 bedroom location
Our 2 bedroom suite was classified as non-view but we had a great view of the ocean and lagoon from our large deck which had a large dining table and chairs and we also had a second small deck off the dining area, which was a non-view of the water but was large enough for a lounge chair and small table.
The Lagoon pool right out the Lagoon tower front door and was perfect for the multi visits from my 4yr old grandson. That sandy area was perfect for all of us to lounge around as it was less congested there, and we could watch the paddle-boarders and water-bikers. All the main ocean beach areas, where we rented a beach umbrella and lounge chairs, in the complex were easily accessible. The only negative was the
rental car parking fee which was very expensive at $50 day.

Nice view and property was in good condition. Suite was quite large. Front desk was very helpful. Check in was easy and elevators were easily available. Location is great near the beach. Only negative is the expensive parking.
