I love that the hotel is right on the beach, and that the front desk is staffed 24 hrs.
The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and the pool's open til 10:00 pm so you can have a swim or soak in the whirlpool before you turn in.

This hotel looks great from the outside and pictures. However, there is no general manger at this property and no housekeeping service.
Our family stayed four nights, we had to ask 4x for them to clean our room and they only cleaned it once while we were staying there. There was a dog barking all night continuously and nothing was done . The staff up front kept apologizing but did nothing remedy the situation. There is construction on the south side of the hotel that will disturb your sleep and view.
Don’t pay for valet service because they do not provide service. The pool is very small.
In short stay away from this hotel there are a lot more in this area to choose from.

Hidden Gem
Our stay at the Hilton Melbourne Beach Oceanfront was short but left a lasting impression. The staff were friendly, the check-in process simple and our room clean. The view of the ocean from the 4th floor was beautiful. We we lucky enough to have mild temperatures in late December. We will definitely return to this hotel.

We have stayed here several times over the years. Always well maintained and clean. Very comfortable. This trip I was surprised that they now charge $14 a night to park your car. Just feels like a way to hide an increase in rates.

Fees waived for inconvenience
The only issue we had was that tv channels were very limited. And we couldn't stream because upgrades were being done. We were told that those upgrades would be done during our stay but they never were. When we checked out I did express my disappointment to the lady at the front desk. She was kind enough to waive our parking fees for the inconvenience. That was pretty nice. 😊

We were charged $45.00 plus tax for parking. No prior notice of that fee. No valet parking. No luggage carts. Hallways smelled musty. Carpet was old and worn. TV had 6 channels.

Our first room, neither the front nor the patio doors would lock. When we asked to move, we were treated poorly. The second room had similar issues, but was workable. The toilet in the second room was loose on the floor

The staff were phenomenal! The customer service was fantastic from checkin to checkout. They were friendly and accommodating. Our room had no air conditioning (which we said was not a problem, but we wanted to inform them for the next guest) and after it couldn’t be fixed, they gave us a complimentary breakfast.

We had a great time. Good place to stay for a fair place. The only thing I would say is that if you buy the prepaid breakfast voucher be ready for some rude and unhappy restaurant staff.

Perfect view and just a hop away from the beautiful beachfront. The decor was a little dated but nice. Staff polite. The pool is very deep! There is a super small shallow end where everyone hangs out and blocks the entry. Not kid friendly. Also didnt love the beach access. Stairs rather than ramp, and theyre steep! Could use a sand mat walk up.

Nice property, very clean, BUT:
1. TELL US that the Gym is out of service and we'll have to go to another hotel, and
2. DO NOT advertise a "balcony" that is only 16" wide and can't fit a chair as a balcony. It's a sliding glass door with a safety railing.
If we had known these two things, we definitely would have picked a different hotel.

Not what we were expecting
For the price $400 a night we thought it was going to be a better experience.
Very simple room, they don't even have glass cups at the rooms, just plastic cups, no body cream in the bathrooms. Towels were old.
Do not get the extra price buffet breakfast for $30+ not worth it, go have breakfast some other place, my son said all Hiltons are like this, just thought for the price it will be better :(

Room was nice. Quiet property.
Kept asking the front desk for towels and never got them. Only had 2 towels for 4 people. Went & got them myself from the cleaning staff.
Got charged for the room again. I caught it and had them reverse the charges. Very disappointed with that. Room was paid for in January.

I thought the place was clean and well maintained, the food in the Ocean Grille was great, they had more than enough chairs and umbrellas to use around the pool, the outside bar staff were great (Robenson)! My only complaint would be that you had to pay $14 a night to park there, raise the nightly rate and give “free” parking, it sounds better. I like to know what I’m spending when I book, I don’t like the surprises at check in. I would stay again.

Fantastic Stay!
Gorgeous location, I had a room with ocean view and balcony. Clean, checked in a few mins early, hit the nicely sized gym. Outdoor pool and spa, nice tiki bar outside, nice lounge bar inside...AND... surprisingly good food. Not a single thing did I not like.

I spent a summer vacation with my wife, on the east coast of Florida, good location, all the staff very friendly, respectful, (Sylvia and Kia) what wonderful women empowered in their work made us feel at home, the room was very spacious, Only two things: the TVs are very old and on the balcony there were no chairs to sit on.

Room was clean and very nice. Young lady cleaned every day. Parking was difficult not enough handicapped parking and no help with bags. We are seniors and its difficult to carry bags, etc. We will look for another hotel. No free breakfast and no free parking. This was our second stay

We had placed a room option for a view of the Ocean. Our view was of the parking lot. Very displeased with the view, as it felt extremely misleading. Other than the lack of ocean view, the rest of the experience was pleasurable.

Hot tub and breakfast in bed - GONE!
Pre-covid this was where we loved to go on vacation. But sadly one of the main reasons we came had been boarded up. The hot tub is no longer available and that's one of my favorite things to use on vacation.
Also there is no room service breakfast. Big disappointment considering we love the breakfast in bed ocean view from our room.
So we ended up moving to the hotel next door.
The rooms are still superior but two of the things we enjoyed most are gone.

I liked the view from our upgraded room that we received. The pool area and beach were well kept. The staff were all nice and friendly. The room we got upgraded too was a wheelchair room and the carpet was old. But otherwise a very nice room.

We had such a wonderful stay from start to finish!! Everything was so clean!! The beds and pillows were the most comfortable at any hotel we have ever stayed at. The service here was amazing as well. We definitely recommend staying here and we will be back!!

Great property right on the beach! Only negative was that the housekeeping staff was not what we expected. We left our room early and came back after 2 pm and our room still had not been cleaned. After it was cleaned housekeeping only left 1 towel.

I loved this property. Pool and jacuzzi were close which was convenient for us because one kid likes cold water and the other one hot. Food and drinks were very good with friendly service. Check in was smooth and fast, there was only thing we didn’t like it. I reserved a room for 4 people and there was only two towels in the bathroom we requested 2 more and they never came, so far that was the only bad thing we can say so far

Good hotel but hidden charges
Front desk was very nice and employees very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. The shower was weird just step in with one nozzle pointing down.. Seemed a little"cheap" for a Hilton. If you didn't want to get your hair wet, it was hard. But other than that, lived the room. We were on 6th with full balcony. We enjoyed it so were thinking of bringing the whole family for next year but not sure as they do not have a room with a microwave or stove.. So would mean eating out a lot. What really decided us against it..after our stay we received an invoice and they had included 14.00 a day parking without letting us know. It was nowhere on the parking slip we had for the car, the lady at the front desk assured me that nothing was coming out of hold on my bank acct unless we charged to the room. We booked through hotels.com for two days and 1 through the app while standing in the lobby. Nowhere does it say this on hotels.com . When I called to question this he kept saying it was in their website. I went back in app and did a fake booking to see.. It's nowhere on page where it says book now.. if you click small info icon..all the way down at the bottom of all terms there it is
I feel that this is very deceptive and seems like a low rate hotel thing to do. I've stayed at all types of Hilton's and never had this either been charged or not disclosed. We budget our vacations and hurts to have shady things like this happen. Shady being never told. We won't use this Hilton again

Everything from check in to room and facility awesome. Only issue was booking the hotel, we were searching for a hotel with free breakfast for our daughter. My reservations showed free breakfast, yet when entering the restaurant, we were told we had to pay and it was not a buffet.

Absolutely a great Hotel, room was very clean and we Loved the View of the beach, very Beautiful. The pool was amazing, and being able to just step right onto the beach from there was our favorite part. Food amd drinks were also very Tasty. Highly recommended this Hotel. Hopefully we will be back

Very relaxing location, on the ocean. Nice ocean view rooms.
However, the beach is public and you will need to rent the umbrella and chairs (an extra $40 per day)
Walking distance to WalMart and a few dining locations. In general, a very quiet city, good for a short relaxing vacation.
