It’s an older property, that has been completely renovated. It’s walking distance to upscale shopping. Great staff. Clean rooms. Centrally located to many St Louis attractions.

Moldy smell
I opened the door to my room and there was a strong moldy smell. I had to open two of the handsoaps and put them on the air vent to get a better smell in he air. Old, outdated hotel.

Very nice hotel. Spacious room and bathroom! The room was rather dark in décor/ambiance but other than that I really enjoyed my stay.
The hotel restaurant is convenient but I feel pricy for the quality of food you receive.
The staff was all very friendly.

Fabulous!
The front desk staff were very friendly. The entryway and lobby are beautiful. The room was very spacious and comfortable. It is only about 15 minutes away from BJC Hospital. Very convenient. We would definitely stay here again.

I would stay at a cheap hotel first
It cost $205 the room was so small it was hard to walk around the bathroom you had to walk in and get behind the door it was so small. No refrigerator or microwave. It needed vacuuming. I needed to use their computer and needed assistance and someone worked said I would be charged for the help.

It’s time for renovation. The carpets have a funky smell (Clayton Building) and the bathroom is too old and small. However jr suites are great size, and loved that you could walk to Frontenac Plaza and the shuttle service.

Best Stay in St Louis Area
Best kep secret in St Louis! Do yourself a favor and spend the extra cash ! This is what a hotel is supposed to be like! We have stayed in 2 other supposed nice hotels in this area and simply put they were nasty and sucked royal.

Stayed one night while visiting friends. The location is excellent. Extremely convenient. Plenty of parking. The property itself was very dated. My room needed updating and had a faint bad smell. The bathroom had been updated and was fine, except for an older toilet in which the water continuously ran. Had a lot of luggage and the elevator was broken when we checked out, which was inconvenient.

When I stay at a hotel, I bring a black light flashlight with me to make sure that housekeeping is doing a good job, and I check the mattress and box spring for evidence of bugs. The bedding and floor were clean and there were no bugs; however, the black light revealed filthy walls and bathroom. It looked like someone deliberately "sprayed" the walls. You can't see anything with the naked eye. The front desk was very apologetic and will look into it. The floors in the hallways were clean. We were there 4 nights. I will stay there again.

This is my 3rd visit here. My husband and I have selected this as our new staycation point. Front desk staff is always kind. Also, we received 2 complimentary full breakfast vouchers. And the food was delicious. Our server and hostess with the best personality named Neicey was awesome. She went above and beyond, which made the experience even better. Thank you to an amazing staff and manager. We love this location. Great job Hilton

The location was great. The lobby and hotel as a whole was beautiful. Our room was very spacious. The only con I would say is that there were areas on the bathroom door and walls where moisture had made the wood start fraying and splaying out, bubbles in paint, etc. My kids kept saying they were staying in a castle. I would definitely stay again.

The hotel itself was very outdated. I had to leave my room and go to the front desk just tonwarm my food up. It was hairball over the bathroom sink and tub I to clean before using my stay was just not as pleasant as i hoped.

Great location but the hotel needs to be upgraded. Dirty carpet and the a/c unit didn't work in our room. When if did come on, it was so noisy and loud.

The check in man, I didn’t get his name, but he looked “eastern Indian” and he was fantastic! So nice and friendly! Also Neinei in the breakfast buffet area is the greatest!! Once we got past the frowning hostess, older black lady who didn’t seem happy that Neinei was talking to us, we had a great breakfast. I personally tipped Neinei for her wonderful personality and she should be your hostess! A smiling face and we were all laughing. Seriously, your hostess is not friendly.

It was well insulated from the other rooms not tinny like some of the holiday inns. It was older but kept up well, I really missed not having a refrigerator. It is an older place that does need some work.

Not a bad experience but certainly not what I had expected from a Hilton! Our room was tiny!! The bathroom door barely missed the toilet! The room door almost hit the bed. The bed was not uncomfortable but pillows lacked any firmness whatsoever! It was an adequate stay all in all! The front desk explained the room was small due to the historic significance. Shower was nice and hot with pretty good pressure especially for a hotel! I probably wouldn’t stay again based on the value of the price I paid versus what I experienced! I have paid way less and had better accommodations!

Had to walk a long way to our room
rooms were nice but the hotel goes on and on and its confusing to get in and out. We walked through the 25s looking for the 24s ended up in the 35s. Had to go down a floor to get to our room. So not 100% pleased. i think they need maps. We walked to plaza frontenac which was convenient but ended up going through the parking garage to get there. Free water, internet and parking which was good. Spacious room. Refrigerator.

The room did not meet the standards of what I think the Hilton should be. It was not thoroughly cleaned. There were long strands of hair in the tub and the tiled floor did not look clean. Not worth the price.

Friendly staff, beautiful hotel, although our room needed updating. The towel racks in our room were broken, told the front desk and they said they would send maintenance to fix it. We liked that the grocery store and shopping were in walking distance and there was a free shuttle to and from airport. Overall we had a nice stay.

May look for a different location!
Not giving up! First room was dark and gloomy, no amenities such as a frigobar. After mentioning to front desk (nicely) not the most friendly person changed us to a different room in a different building; we were given the furthest possible room, but it did have a frigobar. Just surprised that Hilton doesn’t have basic necessities covered, for the hotel level, when 3 star hotels have them in every room. Lastly as Hilton Gold member I expected a little better response when voicing a simple need. A room as far away as possible made me think hotel didn’t care or like that I voiced my opinion. Thank you!

This hotel is amazing! You walk in the front door and you are treated like royalty. The staff was so professional and nice. Room was large and very modern. The bathroom was spacious. There is in room coffee and tea with bottled water to brew. The rates are very reasonable and you get more than you pay for.

The shuttle from the airport was extremely late-waited an hour after calling before we were picked up after a long day of flights. Staff was friendly and accommodating, restaurant on site was lovely-nice ambiance, good food and friendly service. Enjoyed a refreshing dip in the pool on a warm September day, well after typical Labor Day closure of most outdoor venues. I would definitely stay here again, but would Uber/Lyft from the airport if shuttle service doesn't improve its timeliness.

The experience and amenities my husband and I had while staying at this property were not what we expected for the price we paid. Between the damp bed sheets, leaking/spraying tub diverter, peeling paint, trash sitting outside our room (was there before we arrived) for more than 24 hours, no fridge in the room, and no included breakfast...I definitely had expected a better experience. Ultimately, these weren't life threatening problems, but I would not choose this hotel if we are back in the area in the future.

I like staying at this hotel when in the area. Two notes: AC needs to be cleaned as I could smell mold/ mildew. I am sensitive to it.
Room service took a little long answering my call, so I went down to the restaurant Friday morning. Breakfast Thursday arrived cold. I’m sure they were super busy. Not a huge detractor for future visits.

I had one room which had a bad smell in it like a sewer. Another room was on an indoor hallway and you could hear everything that went on in the hall....the TVS in both room were not programmed so the guide couldn't be used and so it was too difficult to use. Room service was not acceptable....trash not emptied, coffee set-up not refilled, towels just laid on the sink..

Very unique property with easy access to lots of activities in the Saint Louis area.
The area felt safe (tons of families and parties at the site) and everything was well-lit…additionally there were multiple entry points, so you never had a long walk from your car to the room.
