The bed was not very clean there was trash in the bathroom and chewing gum stuck to multiple surfaces.
If we were in the room much we would not have been comfortable with staying. The first front desk guy was also on his phone the whole time while checking us in.
A minor complaint is that dry oatmeal should not be listed as a complimentary breakfast.

This hotel is a great option. There a lots of dining options and getting to Downtown Boston is very fast and convenient. The overall cleanliness is okay; if you are looking a a little luxury, this is not the place for you.
The best part of this Hotel's location is the Walmart right next door. It's very convenient.

To start they need to offer to check bags, i had to go to a neigbor hotel to check my bag to ensure i would make an appointment. Second, managment needs to learn the customer satisfaction counts for something. 3rd and last, thw room was filthy, the hotel smelled awful, tje miceowave sis not work, the bathroom door hamdle was broke and dis not close, there was hair left all over the tib and shower.
I would never stay at this hotel chain again.

Although the staff was nice, the room that was given to me had a toilet that wouldn’t flush. There was no remedy and the maintenance person was unavailable even though it was 10pm. I had to pour water into the tank everytime to flush. Glad I only stayed 1 day.

We should have been made aware that section 8 people were living at the hotel, no maid service, refused to give us clean sheets, loud noises and drug activity, sketchy people terrible experience

Horrible experience. The hotel gave our room away because they were overbooked and we were a “late check-in.” I called before check-in to let them know we’d be later than 3pm. I was told by the manager “well the issue is that we’re over-booked, so it’s first come, first serve.” We were reassured by the manager they booked us a room at their sister-hotel a few minutes away. No problem with that, we understand things happen, we’re flexible. We show up to the original hotel just to confirm with them that they booked our room at the sister-hotel. Front desk staff called, nobody had a reservation for us. At any location. I asked to speak with the manager since she was the one who told me she booked us another room. Front desk staff stated they didn’t have an “on-call” manager. I informed him we drove 6.5 hours and made this reservation WEEKS ago, and already paid. He shrugged his shoulders and said “I don’t really know what else you can do. Call Expedia.” I called Expedia, 2 hours on the phone, and they were able to finally find us another hotel. We had to pay tolls and parking fees to reach the new hotel. Expedia paid the difference in price for the hotel room, but not the additional fees we had to endure because Extended Stay handled the situation extremely unprofessional and were unwilling to help us any further than making 2 phone calls.

Worst experience i have ever had in a hotel
We had to leave the elevator didn't work there was scary people they didn't have blankets for us and the people in the room beside us and above us where banging all night we left at . 8 p.m it's was the most horrible experience there was dog pop in the halls . It was a last minute desperate need for immediate accommodations due to an unexpected issue with the car, just as we were about to hit the road to leave the state for home. It was a great help that the hotel was less than a half mile away (walking distance from where the car stopped being able to get us home) and had an available room, and was even dog-friendly.

We encountered issues with the bathroom in the first room we were given. The water in the bathtub didn't drain properly, and the toilet didn't flush. Consequently, we requested a room change for the second night. While most things worked fine in the second room, we were disappointed to discover that the bed sheets hadn't been changed. Fortunately, the receptionist promptly assisted us by providing fresh sheets, allowing us to make it through the second night. However, due to these experiences, we have decided that we will not be returning in the future.

Do Not stay here!!we waited 20min. To check in because there was know one around in the front desk. We called using the front phone that was there and know one answered. Until finally some lady walked out. The room smelled horrible and we had two towels for six days. I asked for more and was told they were washing and didn’t have anymore. We also had to take out our own trash because there was no house keeper. Horrible horrible place!!

Hotel room and in-room appliances were clean except for the long hair in the tub/shower (I do not have long brown hair). The hallways smelled strongly of stale smoke. The people at the front desk were very friendly. There was only one luggage cart, which is very unfortunate at an Extended Stay, since people tend to bring extra items with them due to their 'extended stay'.

The property is conveniently located on route 1 and easy access into the parking lot as well as being located next door to a Walmart considering, I needed some necessities. The staff are very friendly, professional and helpful. Some of the other guests were very noisy when talking late at night, the odor of marijuana in the hallways as well as my room and the barking dogs in the near my room and the rooms are quite dated. I wouldn’t stay there again because I didn’t sleep well due to the noises.

The elevator chimes llike a doorbell or something from the jetsons.. not ompressed with no cookwarw snd getting a singe plaxe sryting was a fiasco and a half! Getting a piece by piece first come first serve it was almost like Black Friday way back in the day! They didn't have enough towel face cloth wise with the Linens toilet paper was very hard to come by and get we had to buy our own no tissues no paper towels no cleaning supplies not even dishwasher tablets for the dishwasher but we had little sample size packets of soap that barely washed anything but no sponge and no paper towel and our one face cloth. No pans no pots even the ice trays or a hot commodity and upon our check in a month ago they had rooms that didn't have refrigerators and we were told well we could give you a $10 off a night if you can take a room without a refrigerator. Hey might work for some but generally when you boast you you have and provide fully equipped kitchens and all the amenities at home you might want to make sure you at least have one of each amenity or commodity as a whole set so unfortunately the value for the price isn't even there at this location

The property looks like the ventilation is interconnected to other rooms(studio) . So if one room cook you can smell their food coming from bathroom ventilation. I really recommended to look into this otherwise most customers wont return

Booked for employee and when he went to check it they wanted his wife's ID which she unfortunate did not have so they refused him the room that was prepaid.Too many bad experiences with the chain. They wouldn't even take a pic of the ID which she had on her phone.

The gentleman at the front desk was very nice and the hotel itself met expectations.
However upon learning that my flight was delayed, I called the notify the hotel about needing a late check-in. I was on the phone for over 20 minutes being told that I needed to speak to the front desk but nobody answered when they transferred me. They eventually said that the front desk closed at midnight and that if I was going to be later than that, I would have to cancel the reservation. I explained that I would arrive around 1-1:30am but had nowhere else to go. He insisted that I cancel and when I said I didn’t want to, he disconnected the call.
I went to the hotel in hopes of being checked in and the man at the front desk was very accommodating. He said that he had been there all evening and the phone didn’t ring. I spent hours on the flight in fear for no reason.

Not the worst, but nothing amazing
The shower was the only problem. There was hair all over the tub before we even used it. Also there was some sort of leak from the tub that made a puddle of water go out into the hallway area. The room did have a strong smell of cooked food, and there were still warm/wet glasses in the dishwasher. There were also what seemed to be fruit flies around the kitchenette and bathroom. Overall I didn’t complain because it was a one night stay while passing through for other tourist destinations, but when traveling to this area I will definitely explore other options since this one still came with a $400 price tag, and that was with a “secret price” discount.

This place was gross. As soon as you enter the lobby it smells of cigarette smoke. The halls to the room STINK. And our room smelled like fish. There were bugs flying everywhere in our room, one flew in my coffee. They were landing on the bathroom mirror and just everywhere. There were several pubic hairs in the bathroom. Not enough towels. The continental breakfast was a joke with granola bars being the only option, and really horrible coffee. Do not stay here.

The property was decent at best. Had free parking at least and that’s about all that made it worth it. The room smelled like someone exploded in the bathroom. The sheets were stained. The towels were stained and smelled terrible. Overall would not recommend this hotel.

It was a decent stay my only major gripe was I had to take my own garbage to the dumpster after checking out. The manager told me it was an effort to keep the prices down. I paid over 225. Per night. The least they could’ve done we removed my trash after I left.

More of a bedroom with kitchen than a suite - no seating except for two kitchen type chairs. Kitchen but no coffee maker or kettle, no glasses or cups, no hangers for clothes. Most hotel rooms I have stayed in would be better for long-term stays than this place. Smelled terrible. After seeing the condition of the chair backs it was clear that the damage and odor was from a cat. Good pillows, adequate bed, no dedicated work space or desk.

Never again!
Horrible! Arrived 14 min before checkin and were told to come back in 14 min. Place was not busy and housekeeping was nowhere to be seen. Finally get checked in and discover you’re required to pay for EVERYTHING—extra towels, Wi-Fi on more than one device..things that are free at other places. Stayed here while waiting to close on our house and chose this place because of it having a kitchen and it saying it was “family friendly” and “nonsmoking rooms.” That was a joke. Every night of our 1 week stay marijuana seeped through the walls and made us all physically ill. I brought my concerns up to management and asked for a different room and was offered and an freshener and told nothing could be done. They are very much aware people are smoking in the rooms and do not care. Did I mention the elevator was “out of order” but we never saw anyone working on it or given a reason as to why. Staff is lazy. Stay elsewhere. They nickel and dime you for things that should be included, it is most definitely NOT smoke free, the rooms are not clean, and men drink and party in the parking lots from the morning until late night. I did not feel safe and was told no refund would be issued for the false description. If you’re looking to get a free contact high and pay for additional towels and toilet paper, this is your place. If you want a family friendly, non smoking, safe place to stay, run elsewhere!

There is definitely a cleanliness issue with the facility. The first room I was given the sheets were dirty and had hair all over. The second room was slightly better but the microwave didn’t work. Finally the third room which was the last they had available was semi decent so we stayed. Would I recommend this hotel or stay again no. I can only hope other Woodspring locations are better.

Our stay was ok , the night clerk gave us a room upgrade which was amazing however the property can use some make over , there was weird smells in the hallway needs some air fresher ER , under the sink in the bathroom we’re moldy and by the ac area , bed frames were dirty better pillows and sheets could be used . Staff were friendly !

Remote had no batteries in it, nobody at front desk because apparently they don’t have staff 24 hours, no SILVAWARE so i couldn’t even eat my dinner, legit had to leave the room and go somewhere else with NO refund because this hotel sucked and Expedia sucked and did not help with anything

Nobody at front desk for check-in. Had to call and was told to wait like 5 mins because he was outside. Bed was not that comfortable, floor did not seem to be that cleaned. There was no bath soap to shower.

Great, friendly desk staff.
The staff was excellent! My only complaint was there was a dead fly in the fridge and dirty dishes in the dishwasher. I ran it twice but they didn’t come clean. That tells me they’ve been in there along time.

I liked how clean the room was when I arrived.l liked the fact that there was a Superwalmart next door for all your needs.l liked the entertainment with-in walking distance.
I did not like the fact there was a kitchenette in the room with only one pan, 2 forks,2spoons,knives.l did not like the hours of the front desk. The electricity shut of several times during my stay. Getting them to clean my room and change the bedding was a chore. Only a few tv channel variety available. Traffic to and from was horrible.Extending my stay was bad. Had to check out make new reservation check back in with higher rate and had to keep the same dirty room. Does not make sense. You would think after a new check-in they would treat you like a new customer and assign you a new room.

It was the worst hotel i have ever stayed it it was absolutely unacceptable how dirty it was i complained in person twice nothing was done. Then i wrote orbitz and the hotel nether one responded. Worst experience ever i have pictures of everything. I will never stay there again.

The staff was extremely nice, when changing my room due to a wobbly toilet that needed to fixed. The whole property is non smoking inside except you can smoke outside and the inside smells like a musty cigarettes. So if you have allergies this isn't the place for you. The vent to the bathroom is filled with junk and really needs to be cleaned.

The hotel is in good conditions but very bad smell. The room says non smoking and it smells like cigarettes. We had to but a candle to be able to adjust. Smelly sheets, dirty towels, dirty room. Not a pleasant stay.

The property smelled like stale smoke and the stairwells smelled like marijuana. It was VERY overpriced for the condition of the property. I had paid for 2 nights but left after 1 - I will not stay here again and would not recommend to anyone.

We were staying there for an evening because we had a wedding in Marblehead. It was a very busy weekend so not much was available but we found this for a reasonable price and looked decent and only 25 minutes from the venue. Check in was easy we were in a rush so we checked in and left our belongings in the room and left. We didn’t get a chance to check the place out until we returned

We checked in Saturday afternoon and were told that the original room that we had already paid for was no longer available and gave us a different room. When we got to our room we were missing a shower curtain which I went back and asked for later and received an attitude about like I was trying to steal a shower curtain. Most of the night we heard people yelling, slamming doors and beating on walls and ceilings all night. Sunday when we went to shower all the towels were dirty as well as the wash rags and when we went to ask for clean ones we were told that they do not have any towels or rags and that they couldnt help us. The floors were dirty when we checked in covered in crumbs and hair from the people before us. The night staff was beyond rude if you could ever get them to actually come to the counter. The parking lot was covered in trash and random piles of clothes. its also not the best area if you are looking for safety. Definitely will never stay here again when I travel back to Massachusetts.
