Bad smell from the carpet in the bedroom, too old need replacement urgently, I changed rooms and it did not resolve the problem, couldn’t sleep and had to check out one day earlier

Property Manager Refused $490 Refund
I got sick on day 1 of a 3 day stay, checked out after one night. I was not feeling well and tested positive for Covid, so we checked out the morning of the second day so as to not put anyone else at risk. The reservation was booked through Hotels.com and the property manager refused to refund the remaining charges (approximately $490). Needless to say, we will not be using the Hilton or Hotels.com in the future nor will we recommend it to any of our friends and acquaintances.

Time for an update!
The entire hotel needs to be updated, especially as a CLASSIC hotel in Naples. This property is NOT up to Hilton's usual standards. Makeup light in Bathroom didn't work. The toilet was stuck in running position, the sink drain didn't work until maintenance fixed it. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

First the good; love the lobby, the pool area was nice although we didn't get a chance to use it, beds were comfy, but pillows not so much and very flat. We loved the food we got from room service, it was so good. Having Shulas there was amazing.
The bad:
During checkin we explained we had booked 2 nights separate reservations as we decided to stay longer after we originally booked. The front desk said no problem we can combine the stays so you don't have to leave to different rooms. Fast forward to the next day we come back to hotel from being out exploring and our room keys didn't work. We had to go to desk to find out what was going on and they said oh we just had to give you different key for same room for your second night stay. That made no sense, but whatever we went on our way.
The tub was clogged so bad we couldn't take a shower so Maintenance came and had to snake it. Well why wasn't this noticed when the room was cleaned prior to arrival as it was quite obvious it filled up fast. Second there was random long hairs in bathroom when we first got to room and lastly the walls by ac unit looked like they had been patched up from mold. Really freaked me out.
Overall such a beautiful hotel if it had the right upkeep.

Hilton Naples is a nice hotel. Rooms are a bit outdated. The pool, jacuzzi, and beach shuttle make the experience worthwhile. We did not eat at shula’s restaurant. Tried to have breakfast and order to the pool but there was a wait for the restaurant and nobody was at the pool when we wanted to order or know how to place the order (qr code / online ordering system would have been great). On our 2nd night as we used our shower for the first time our tub leaked into the hallway and downstairs so we had to cut her shower short and wait for a new room. Packed up and moved our stuff. Requested late check-out. An hour before our late checkout time our room keys were deactivated so we were stuck at the pool and had to go back and forth to the lobby twice as the room key which should have been reactivated did not work. We were also told we could bring food to the pool area but after we ate the food from outside the resort were told no outside food in the pool area. Miami vices were good tho. Mostly a nice experience except for these hiccups which I wasn’t expecting from a Hilton.

Nice property but the room had quite a bit of built up dust for a Hilton. Also, our Air conditioner did not work and we had maintenance come out at 10pm to fix it and the guy did a good job but I feel like these things should get checked ahead of time. Toilet had problems too and I fixed it. There should be a pre visit inspection just to save the customer from the hassle. We just stayed 1 night and thankfully going to Hyatt. Good but not great.

Great staff, the only thing I didn’t like was having to hear the cleaning ladies talking to each other and cussing about how upset she was because a customer didn’t left her a tip. Other than that I loved how clean was the hotel.

Very noisy, we only stayed at hotel for 3 hours because of loud noise coming from electrical room. Not fair to charge us for a full night. Would never stay at the Hilton in Naples ever again. Also, food was beyond terrible. Room and food $250.00 for a terrible experience. The hotel should be ashamed.

Beautiful entry into hotel. Very pretty lobby and staff was very friendly and accomodating. The room itself was comfortable and clean but there were a few spots in the room that needed attending to. Ceiling had a spot with chipping paint and the baseboard in the bathroom couldve used some attention. I could tell that housekeeping did a quick job in the room cause one of the waste baskets still had pieces of paper that wasnt discarded from the last guest. A safe wouldve been nice as well as a microwave but i probably couldve gotten those with a request but considering I only had a one night stay, I didnt bother. The bed was comfortable and I enjoyed the generous shampoo/conditioner and body lotion the hotel supplied. The pool area was nice but more lounge chairs wouldve been nice as I noticed people leaving when they had no where to lay out. The pool attendant, Michael, was aces. Very attentitive and informative. Overall it was a pleasant stay and I would stay there again even if it was a little pricey, but considering that Naples is a pricier area that is to be expected.

This hotel is top notch. The A/C was the only one that could keep up with the heat of August 2023. We stayed in 5 hotels-it was too hot for all the other systems to keep up but our room at this Hilton was cold and comfy.

Complimentary beach service
We had a great stay again at this hotel. The carpet at our room needs repair/replacement.
Our only complaint was about the deficient beach cram. The hotel took us to that point as a complimentary service which was excellent but, we were unable to take the cram to the beach. We had to walk around 20-30 minutes carrying the chairs. We were informe that the cram service is provided by the City of Naples. All the crams arrived to the pick up point already occupied by the “Naples Grande” hotel guests.

Friendly staff extremely helpful when I forgot my door pass key twice. Parking was not patron friendly. Fire alarm went off twice once in the morning. And at 12am. The second one caused evacuation of the building and fire department response. Chech out was simple and convenient.

Aside from the water side shopping there really wasn't much else around, including restaurants. The shuttle to the beach was not air conditioned and it was really hot. Once you get to the beach you have to wait for another shuttle to get you to the actual Beach. There are no umbrellas designated to anyone staying at the Hilton so it costs $30 American to rent

Great stay overall. Only minor complaint is we were expecting based on what they advertised that when you are taken to the beach by shuttle that there were chairs and umbrellas on the beach for you by the hotel, which is what they say online and tell you when they check in. They fail to tell you they hand you some portable beach chairs and expect you to carry them to the beach as well as a stalk of towels and its no short walk its a mile long boardwalk or golf art ride but hauling a ton of things does not make it convenient or relaxing for vacation mode.

Great location and lovely staff
A beautiful and very well located hotel. All of the staff were incredibly nice and well presented. I used the gym on one of the days we stayed and the equipment was great. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Made it difficult to obtain accessible room
I was disappointed that even though I booked a handicapped accessible room AND called the hotel the week before to confirm, the hotel still tried to place us in a non accessible room. The front desk clerk attempted to give my elderly Dad, who clearly used walkers and wheelchairs, an auditory accessible room rather than a wheelchair accessible room. She clearly did NOT know there was a difference and did not understand why the room would not work for us. Then the hotel charged us an upgrade fee of $80/night because the only wheelchair accessible room was a suite. I had to pay it because otherwise my dad would not have been able to use the restroom.

Overall just average. 2.5 stars tops. fridge was not keeping drinks cold. Bed good but pillows sank your head to mattress. No different than any surrounding hotels. Pretty disappointed wont stay there again

This Hilton was disappointing. The property was nice but the area around it isn't. My view was a rooftop of some buissiness next door. The pool is small. If you book thru a third party breakfast is not included. The shower head was broke, the cable kept going out. The bathroom needed much attention. There is no place to eat on property except Shula's, very expensive. Its Complimentary Valet but I didnt see any Valet person in the morning when I left. When I checked out , I addressed the front desk of these issues and they didn't really care that they had a disappointed customer. Shame on you Hilton. For over 300 a night there are to many other places to stay.

We go to the Naples area 5-6 times a years from Ft. Lauderdale . You can get cheaper hotels but for the money this one never disappoints. Always very clean and well staffed and every thing is very close . Also this was the first time we ever used the beach transport and it was awesome .

We included breakfast in our reservation. The breakfast was served at Don Shula’s. The food is not compatible with a 4-star hotel. It was definitely not worth the price. Slow serving, greasy and salty food.

The hotel front desk personal were not much help in getting help in restaurants to go to. They didn't even have a bandaid for a cut one of us had. Parking was horrible. Not enough room for the rest.

We had a girls wknd here 4/15-4/18/23 and had a fantastic time. The front desk girl I belief her name was Latriece was extremely warm and helpful with recommendations for dining. The facility was very clean and well kept. We were able to take the hotel shuttle to/from the beach which was fantastic. They provided us with beach towels and chairs that could be updated to say the least.The area has lots of places to dine and even a high end mall walking distance away. Overall fantastic weather and wknd here
