It was the noisiest place ever. It started with a couple with a child that talked/screamed at the top of his lungs(12:40 in the morning) He was even banging on the adjacent door. To cover up the noise his parents turned their TV up. Then thier was a group(I don't know how many) that laughed & played music. Then some men that partied late then their alarm went off early in morning. Then a sports team with young guys running up & down the hallway. We tried to call the front desk 5 times with no answer. My husband had to finally open the door & tell them to shut it down. With all, lots of slamming doors. People & the ice maker at all hours. Could hear the elevator every time it was used. Our room faced Hwy 60 so lots of traffic noise. Very expensive food ie: breakfast, supper, drinks. All in all we would never stay there again!

Love this Hotel everyone is so kind even the other guests.. Very clean and have alot to do in the surrounding area.. Parking is free and room are clean and spacious...Love and will stay again next time am in town..

Room was nice but didn’t quite realize it wasn’t for confort being a “salon suite” so there were only 2 chairs to sit in comfortable that we had to drag out of a small room, also the phone in the room didn’t work and no one except a very nice housekeeper tried to fix it. Also the coffee machine was in the bathroom (unsanitary to me) and that didn’t work well either.

We selected a room specifically for the "high floor" amenity that was an added charge through Expedia. When we arrived we found ourselves on the 2nd floor by the elevator. They would not change the room, claiming our "class" of room had no other options. It was an awful night. Between the noise from the atrium and the myriad of adults getting off the elevator loudly talking, or the kids from the sports teams running up and down the hallway, I've rarely had less sleep. Won't be returning.

The rooms were nice. But, the bathroom sink wouldn't drain and there were pieces of candy and popcorn on the floor like they forgot to vacuum. The app that we booked the room through had called it an accessible room, which we needed. It was not handicapped accessible, so we could not shower for the 3 days we were there.

The property management here is absolutely rude and it’s reflected by their staff and front desk. We’ve been staying here for the past week and we will no longer book here. The staff here is nothing like any of the other doubletree properties. It’s probably a reflection of the management for this office as we had a horrible encounter with the mgmt as well.

We enjoyed how very nicely kept this hotel is. It has a restaurant open for breakfast, and it is truly convenient. It is spacious and the atrium and bar area/lounge area is beautiful, and also a perk we loved. Definitely a hotel we will book in the future. I highly recommend this hotel.

What we liked best was the staff. Especially Nicaise DeFour. Checked in at 4PM with a guaranteed reservation for a king bed for the one night. Very important to us for multiple reasons. We were told that all king rooms had been let and therefore none were available. We explained again that we had a reservation which guaranteed such a room. The staff (no names) behind the desk said they were sorry but there was nothing they could do. Since we had to leave to attend a wedding we asked (kindly) if they could work the problem as we would be returning around 11 that night. Nicaise was behind the desk and informed us that no king room had been found. We went through similiar discussions as earlier and asked if she could check once more. Room found. It was a mini suite for $87 additional. But we had been guaranteed a king room at a given price and we did not feel we should pay. Given all the circumstances Nicaise graciously agreed and did what all exceptional employees should do and granted our reasonable request for our very short one night stay.
As a consequence, Doubletree remains our preferred hotel when traveling.

I called the hotel at 1:15 pm, to see if we could check in early since I had just gotten out of cancer scans at MD Anderson, and I was not feeling well. The “gentleman” that answered told me check in was at 4 pm and they would charge me $30.00 to check in early, I couldn’t believe it because I have never been charged for an early check in anywhere! I said, “oh wow, ok…” I told him, “ok, I guess we’ll wait” he didn’t say, thank you or ok, or anything, he just hung up on me. So needless to say we had to make time driving around in 111 degree heat until 3. At that time, I told my husband to head to the hotel and we would just pay because I was too nauseous and dizzy and in a lot of pain. We get here and were greeted by an amazing young lady that was very helpful. She explained that after 2pm check in is free. The other person I spoke to did NOT mention that! I have stayed in this hotel a lot of times, I come for Cancer scans and treatment several times a year and I had never encountered a rude employee until today!

Easy to get to. Neighbours above were noisy. Was going to charge me $50 to checkin 2 hours early!!!! BUT, did provide me with wifi password to watch a movie in the timebeing!

Our stay here was very comfortable and quiet. We did not purchase the breakfast here but have in the past and it's good but not a great value if you don't eat much in the morning. The facility is clean and well maintained with plenty of parking in their we'll lit lot.

There are pros and cons. Pros, the design of the hotel is amazing, the rooms are clean and comfortable. It was quiet on the fourth floor during our one-day stay. The price is very reasonable, refrigerator kept the food nice and cold. Stocked well with linens. Cons: our room did not have a microwave, and the desk phone was not working. There is a charge for breakfast, which is equipped with a Starbucks as well as a buffet of choices. That's probably why the price of the room is so reasonable. Well worth it. I hope to stay there again. The many pros outnumber the few cons, therefore, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel was very inviting when you wakk through the door.. The people that checks you in was very pleasant and Kind... Everything was in order and Clean.. Hotel room was nice and spacious.. For sure next time i come to town will definitely stay here again. They had a little arcade at the hotel for the kids.Nice pool and jacuzzi very nice and surprised...Also have nice area where you can buy food , snacks they had it all.

The Bartender Brian is awesome and fun. Made our night. The downside was that the pool is very small. Not as described. I only came to this hotel because the pool was over sold online. Not much amenities. Over all its alright but wouldn't book again.

Must’ve gotten an off room, was hair on the bathroom floor, burn holes in the curtains, stains on the pillow cases and the bed felt like it was from 1907. Ended up leaving and didn’t stay the night. Wouldn’t refund me.

It’s a pretty hotel great central location to travel around the state or stay close by. The service could of have been better had to ask 3 times to get my room cleaned and towels. Also they charged me noise complaint fee that wasn’t caused by me or my family but by other guests after they called me at 1am woke me from my sleep and had me go out into lobby to see who is actually causing the noise. After I noticed and complained fee was removed.

The common areas were modern/nice. However, our Junior Suite was dark and depressing and they used fluorescent bulbs which was so depressing. The paint was scratched and chipped away so we were very disappointed.

As soon as I entered the room, I walked into the shower area and there was hair everywhere on the wall. Disgusting seen as no body cleaned up. I couldn’t shower and I couldn’t wait to be out. I always book with hilton to make sure it’s great quality. I will never book with them anymore disgusting 👎

Nice hotel with a cool design. The bar in the middle of the lobby has a great happy hour and the food served is not only reasonably priced (for a hotel), it's pretty good as well. Staff were all friendly and attentive.

Do not stay at this Doubletree.
Room had an over powering sewer smell that made us sick. There were hole in the closet door and ceiling. The bathroom was dirty and run down like the entire room. We checked out 1-1/2 days early handing our room keys to the front desk, and a day later they had no idea we had checked out. Horrible hotel.

Still love the DoubleTree
Love staying at the Double Tree! This is my first time staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Mesa, AZ. I will say that the amenities are part of why I enjoy staying at the DoubleTree. Staff are always friendly and eager to help.
The staff was super accommodating and helped us check-in earlier than our check-in time.
Unfortunately the beds were not so comfy for a hotel of this scale. Spring bed was super squishy and I did not sleep very well.

Nice, clean, good location with quite a few restaurants within walking distance.
The noise from the highway is a bit excessive for sure though, even with the door closed curtains drawn you can hear the highway very clearly in your room, made it difficult to sleep soundly.

Very loud all hours of day and night. Kids running around outside of the rooms like it’s a racetrack. Loud atrium noise funnels up to the rooms so you can’t hear the tv or sleep.

Probably the worst hotel experience I have had in the last 20 years. Showed up for conference and the hotels furnace heat didn’t work. Was horrible. They did bring the entire conference attendees blankets. We stayed at the hotel for two nights. The rooms either did not have AC or did not have heat depending upon which side of hotel you were on. Something about the boilers or something not working. Horrible place, maybe it was just the timing we had but wow was def not impressed. Your ever try sleeping in an 80-85 degree room with only warm moving air in your room and no way to get it cooler? 0 stars. Look elsewhere. Waste of $350/night.

The toilet had tissue in it when we got into the room so I flushed it and it overflowed. Housekeeping did not clean it sufficiently when they came to clean up. We asked to trade rooms and were met with some resistance. Finally got a new room and when we were at the front desk the following night a gentleman went to the front desk stating his room had plumbing issue. It was the first room they place us in. Stayed at this hotel many years ago and it is in need of some TLC.
