Hiltons overall are generally great. This one was no exception. Although the check-in clerk was curt, the staff at concierge, bell desk, grab & go snack shop were all very helpful. Hotel itself is great, quiet, very clean & the bed comfortable. Great option for an overnight stay for an early flight.

Given that the hotel is attached to airport I expected that they would expect guests that have no bags. There was on box of soap on the bathroom counter and I had to ask for a comb that likely took .02 to make. This was for a woman with long hair. The young gentleman that checked us in clearly hated his job and could care less about guests. He literally slapped my I’d down on the opposite side of the counter I was standing at. He could have handed it to me. The worst check in experience ever for a 300.00 basis room on a hotel that has been there forever. The restaurant was good and hade nice staff.

We liked the availability of staying within walking distance of a "must catch flight" from the airport the next morning. Given the problems of secure transportation during the Chicago winter for a very early morning flight, the OHare Hilton was a relaxing alternative and a chance to start our vacation on a stress-free note.

Conveniently located by the airport. The staffs were very quick and kind. Although I only stayed there overnight for a layover, it took such a huge stress out of my long journey by staying at a comfortable hotel like this.

I had a trip cancellation so stayed at the hotel at the airport. Check in was less than friendly and check out worse. The room was not very clean at all, in fact I took a towel, added soap and water and washed multiple items - the lightswitch in the bathroom was very soiled - quite disgusting.

The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. We were in a situation with multiple grounded flights due to weather. We used the Expedia app book our room right away at a fair price before the rush of people came over. Because we pre-booked with the app we got to skip the line of grumpy customers asking for space and go straight to check in. The hotel staff knew we were coming from a long day of traveling and gave everyone in line free water bottles and snacks.

Check in was horrible: 12 people waiting in line, one stressed agent struggling at the check-in counter with room for ten agents! Took 30 min to check in! Room was ok if you like 70s style wall paper that’s peeling off. Room service was absolutely disgusting: the calamari were formula one grade rubber, and the so-called “chocolate mousse “ cake tasted worse than the kind you get at a gas station! All in all: for $400 it’s an absolute disgrace! I will NEVER stay in this hole that only survives due to its top location!

Quick stay for early flight
This was an in and out stay to catch a very early flight. It worked great for that. It was quite expensive for what we needed but to be off the Chicago streets at 3 am was important to me.

Bad- Only redeeming qualities are staff & location
The hotel has been in poor condition for some time- it’s old, outdated, and the rooms need a major cleaning at the least (really needs entire remodel). The floors are dirty. Towels are see through. Hallways have food trays everywhere. The room was unbelievably hot; it is winter in Chicago and winter th the heat completely off the room was still unbearably warm.
Across the street from the main entrance the “shuttle center” has been turned into a migrant holding point!
The staff at check in and especially the concierge helping with bags were very nice. Otherwise, the only reason to stay at this hotel is the convenience into the airport for very early or very late flights.

Planes, trains and automobiles 2023!
A very nice ending to a long travel day and a missed connection flight. The room was so easy to get to and I slept like a baby and woke up refreshed and ready to tackle another long travel day to make it home for the holidays. Thank you so much for your great hospitality and delicious breakfast.

The location in the airport makes this hotel unbeatable. But overall this is also a very nice and clean facility with nicely equipped rooms. The price is driven by location not luxury but the convenience is hard to beat. Strongly recommended

Abusive price without any service
No service at all, no mini bar no drinking water in room. The safety deposit is charged not only pre authorized then you wait 3-7 days to get the money back
For 357$ there is much better to offer, guess I consider the price abusive because no other options available. But being very honest even $100/night is way to much

Old outdated and they make you pay for Wi-Fi. The staff yiu could tell not too helpful. The food in the restaurants was really disgusting. Would never stay there every again or any other Hilton property.

Room was surprisingly small with double beds and no option (or room) for a roll-away. Much too small for our family of four. Cost of food was like being at the airport or a movie theater, really shouldn't be that way.

If you're stuck at the airport this is a great option and can net you some extra sleep as you can walk directly across to terminals 1-3. The property is clean but it's definitely showing its age.

Flight delays forced us to find a hotel for the night and this property was extremely convenient. The staff were extremely helpful and kind, even late at night and early in the morning (when we had to leave for our rebooked flight). Will definitely stay here again if I get stranded at O'

The location of the Hilton Chicago O'Hare Airport is wonderful, especially after a long-haul flight from the other side of the world. The property lobby and room were also clean and festive. The room was comfortable but the bathroom was slightly out of date. The lack of food options nearby meant that dining was very overpriced for what was offered. Breakfast was especially overpriced and felt intentionally misleading. The buffet price was not advertised anywhere on menus or signage and the cost of breakfast was not explicit, even when we asked about breakfast options at the front desk. The QR code provided in the room to a list of the hotel's amenities (no specific paper guidance to the hotel's amenities was provided at all in the room, so the website must be relied on) boldly stated "Breakfast Included" at the top of the webpage for the Hilton Chicago O'Hare Airport Hotel. When we asked about this after an almost $100 breakfast for 2 adults, we were directed to the fine print detailing that this advertised free breakfast, on the page for this specific hotel, was not applicable.
Value for money at this Hilton was abysmal and the service, given these lapses in transparency, felt underwhelming and misleading. We are unlikely to stay again and will question staying at other Hilton hotels given the obvious corporate-backed scamming of customers.

What a wonderful surprise! Due to mechanical delays I missed my connecting flight recently and had to stay at O’Hare for the night… What a delight to walk less than 10 minutes directly into the Hilton, never going outside nor leaving the airport! So convenient. Got up the next morning and with another short calm walk, short line thru TSA, I was back at my gate waiting for my next flight.
Beautiful large room and comfortable bed, surprisingly quiet.
Expensive, but worth every penny due to its convenience and upscale environment.

Convenient location, don't even need to leave the airport if your connecting flight happens to be the next morning. Dated, small, expensive rooms. We couldn't get any of our favorite restaurants to deliver which was the biggest bummer.

Surprisingly quiet and comfy
This is not your typical destination hotel, and it wasn’t for us either. Desperate times call for closest hotel to airport. Despite that, I was pleasantly surprised at how clean, quiet and comfortable the room was. It was a pleasure to get some rest and start the next day with better airport luck! I wouldn’t hesitate to book again if the need arose.

I like that you don't even need to take a shuttle to an 'off-site hotel'. That's the main draw for me when traveling internationally, etc. I, obviously, don't like how much it costs, but it's worth it to just not have to deal with lugging luggage around.

The room had chairs that were very worn where the cushion in recliner was sunk in. The chair by the desk back tilted back that I think was broken. Too few pillows and not enough towels.

Terrible & Scary Experience
I expect a hotel to provide a comfortable, safe and secure experience. This hotel failed on all points.
After checking in and entering the room it was very warm, per the thermometer it was about 83 degrees. Turing the thermostat to cool / high did nothing but move more warm air. The windows would open a small crack which helped but also let in a bunch of noise.
I went to bed about 11:30,finally fell asleep about 01;30. At 3:08 I was wakened by a large bang which sounded like someone hit the outside of the door. I laid back down and soon after about 3;30 I got a phone call from security wanting to know who I was and what was I doing in a room that was supposed to be vacant. I had no idea what he was talking about. He demanded to know my name, when and how I checked in etc. He said he would call me back as soon as he was able to verify my details.(he did not).
At that point I got dressed and went to the front desk. When I left I noticed that the door was ajar and was only kept from opening by the privacy lock. I spoke with a manager (Nadia) who knew that security had tried to enter my room. She said that the person who stayed in the room before me had left "something valuable" and they needed to check.
There is absolutely no reason for someone to enter a guests room in the middle of the night. No apology or reason for the urgency was given. If it was vital that someone enter the room then first call, or even better wait until morning! I intend to escalate this to Hilton C

Only convenience it is inside the airport at terminal 2. They don't have airport shuttle on sundays. If you are traveling with kids it is difficult to take tram especially if it is in winter.
I didn't find staff very friendly.

Enjoyed the overnight. Mom was in a wheelchair and had airport staff to take her to the hotel. Next day,early in the morning, staff was there with a wheelchair to take her to the airport. Very stress less experience.

nice and convenient place to stay when flights are cancelled or delayed. staff lovely and helpful. best part however was the gaslight club- nice atmosphere, good food and great entertainment - a really great surprise for an airport hotel to have such a neat place!

We need a shuttle bus to terminal 5 and they said they don’t have that . Which it states it on the website when I reserved. We have to take the train . The front desk was not nice at all .

The airport shuttle responded to our call and picked us up from the international terminal within 10 minutes which was excellent. Our bathroom door hit the toilet when opened and shut which was strange. The receptionist called our room to ask how everything was— when my husband complained about the design of the bathroom, she gave us $50 off our charge. Overall we had a nice stay. The hotel restaurant was excellent.
